Gossamer let her pet dive in to distract the bug once more, and quickly moved around to the side of her while her focus was on the bird. One of her arms began to glow black, the other green, and her eyes a bright orange color. She aimed both her arms up, but not exactly at the woman. More keeping the bug between her whatever the two shots might be.

"How about we don't kill potential allies?" Pixie asked holding her hands up and trying to put a force field around Sapphire, "I mean, we're only be hunted by vicious monsters that want to shred us limb from limb, in some weird backwards universe." She crossed her arms. Sure she was contradicting herself a little, by threatening to kill Tomha and protecting Sapphire, but the blue costumed girl hadn't ticked off the purple haired girl yet and she seemed pretty tough. "We need to figure out what's going on and get out of here." She explained shrugging, "I mean honestly I do not wanna miss my soaps tonight because some stupid monster, that exists where the wild things are, chewed my freakin' head off." She scowled at the group. "Besides Leonard just got enaged to Diana but her sisters ex-boyfriend's cousins brother came back from his supposed grave to murder Leonard."

The town was slowly becoming more active as beings standing six feet two began appearing with the Shovel teeth monsters leashed like hounds. The beings were bald with pale skin. They had no nose or lips so their yellow teeth were constantly shown. A small handful of them had their brains showing. The Meghar have come to search for the outsiders, Sadomasochistic beings capable of enduring massive amounts of damage and knows how to make any race suffer. Unlike the other monster races they answer to a human leader. Even with a human leader their humanities main threat in this world.
In this world, this city was Fang Lord territory therefore the Meghar hunting for the outsiders had to be very careful to not provoke any Fang Lords that might lurk in the darkness. They know they seek a man with make up in a suit, a robed man and two women. Seeing them all together would have the entire town on them but with the robed man gone they will just keep their eyes on the outsiders.

The vulture adjusted it's dive so that it wouldn't run into the force field and rose higher into the air.
Gossamer glanced over at Pixi a moment, then gave somewhat of a sadistic grin and let the spell fade from her hands. "Very well...I can flatten the bug later. I've had a few days worth of fun anyway." she said, glancing back up at her bloody pet vulture. It cried out a moment, then flew down to her, landing on her outstreached arm.
"Ah, seems there might be more joining this little group in a moment anyway. she said, turning back towards her spider. "I'll just pick up whatever's left of you."

Sapphire was beyond thankful Pixi had put a forcefield around her...knowing exactly what the three different glowing spells meant. There was little, if any way to avoid getting hit with at least one of them, and when you did, the other two were quick to follow. And honestly, she did NOT want to be hit with any of them. She turned her head towards Pixi and gave her a bit of a thankful nod, since she wouldn't be able to see her mouth the words.
"Well thanks, Goss. That's real comforting." she replied after her last comment, rolling here eyes a bit.

Pixie smiled, and eerie sight on it's own, and lowered the forcefield, wary eyes on the entire group. "Your guy's positive thoughts are absolutely enthralling..." She mutter crossing her arms.

One of the Meghar, a female with only one eye with a series of pins and hooks around her other empty eye socket. "You, Humans!" Shesaid rudely as she walked towards Pixie. She had a rusty axe in her hand. "You seen a robed man?" She asked frowning heavily. The disturbing people seemed all over the town now so quickly.

Pixie's gaze fell on the woman as she smiled coyly, "Me? See a robed man?" She repeated in a sweet tone as she made eye contact with the creature. She'd never tried messing with somethings mind that wasn't human... But there was a first time for everything. The jerk owes me if I get myself killed... she thought to herelf grimly as her eyes flickered bright violet, her steady gaze meeting the female creature's. "I don't think you were looking for him." She tried digging through the creatures head. Family, friends, enemies... anything... She settled on a custom image of Superman destorying a large group of the creatures that looked alot like this female. "I think you're looking for someone else... " She whispered in a low voice. She hope to goodness this worked. If not... She pondered possible escape routes and what direction the axe would come swinging from.

The Meghar seemed to have connected minds with each other, if one knew something, they all knew it, connected but each Meghar had it's own will and independence but this connection of them all seems to maintain sanity. Apparently their a very numerous race and hates the bat creatures called Fang Lords. "No I'm not!" The creature snapped, it didn't realize what Pixie. "Your owners might offer you safety but if we find out you did know something, we will tear out your intestines and feed them to the Shovel Teeth!" She threatened as she stormed off.

She blinked a moment. "I relish the moment fair maiden! I'll pencil your asswhooping in around dinner time 'kay?" She stuck her tongue out and crossed her arms stubbornly turning back to the others. Stupid peo- creature thingys... She thought to herself as she did a mental review over the information she'd gotten from the female. Fanglords... so each of these weird things have names...? She pondered this a moment, her face set in a firm frown.

Sapphire gave Gossamer a bit of a look under her mask, then turned towards Pixi and the...other creature a moment. She simply watched, not wanting to get involved more than she had to. ...or wanted to.
