"Um... sure, Kholby." He turned his attention to the boy with a smile, feeling a little bad Kholby was paying so much attention to him with London there, but Kholby was also just too cute for him to deny. Godfrey stepped back, sitting down in the chair nearest to him, and sat down with his knees together, helping Kholby to get comfortable on his lap. Kholby wasn't very heavy, and felt somewhat fragile to him.
He also smelled pleasantly of soap.
Godfrey started to bounce him gently, arms wrapped loosely around Kholby's middle.
"That's a really pretty cake." He said, trying to start a conversation with Circinus. "Did you make it?"

“Goodness, no,” Circinus said with a chuckle, sitting in one of the chairs with his long legs folded after passing out plates of cake and the accompanying plastic forks. “I asked a few of the Magical Cooking students to whip something up for me – a helpful bunch, kekeke~” The fact that a majority of the students who took the class were Hufflepuffs only added to their collective eagerness to help.

"Oh yeah. " Godfrey nodded, using one hand to poke at his slice of cake while holding onto Kholby with the other.
"When I cook I always get covered in things." He confessed, grinning a bit. "But everyone in your cooking class seems to come back spotless."
Having a normalish conversation with his Professors was kind of odd, yes, but it was kind of neat how things were going because of one boy. And maybe he could help Kholby the way Kholby helped his Papa- or at least be his friend.
