It was at the point that Karume started releasing her reaitsu that Aisu began to limit his. Sighing he held his zanpakutpo out at his side Aisu simply shrugged his shoulders and looked at Karume. As he looked at Karume he gave Akane a quick wink knowing that he would realize what it meant. Looking back to Karume he simply sighed and shruuged his shoulders slightly. He really did not want to fight her, it would only cause a quarell.

"If your sure about this... Know one thing..... I was not trying to exert reiatsu...."

With that the snow on the ground would appear once again however this time it was about 2.5 feet off the ground and very thick. Meaning when trying to stand on it most if not all would sink in and lose alot of mobility. This would only be further proved by the ice that appeared everywhere in the area. The ice would cause major slipping only further decreesing mobility and the icicles would provide alot obsticles and weapons. Aisu's zanpakuto would then change taking the form of a very long icicle with a regal decorative handle. Standing emotionlessly facing Karume everyone would feel the temperature drop to a frigid -55 degrees celsius along with an enormus killing intent that would put fear in even the strongest of warriors. Aisu's reiatsu seemed to be different from that of a normal captain and for somebody who had never seen Aisu's shikai they would most likely not know what to make of it.

"Come Karume......."

Aisu said in a frigid tone his dark blue hair gracefully swaying in the frigid wind his hair catching the many snowflakes. Placing his hood up to ward away the snow from his hair he could only sigh.

Kagen grabbed ahold of the figure as he got out of the springs and Wangetsu used intense heat to dry Kagen. Wangetsu knew that he had a lot to do to train Kagen and to train him well.

as stated before...This next step is totally different from using Shikai...So our test will be quantitative " He spoke as he faded back and then awaited for Kagen to jab his sword

Kagen tilted his head.

"What kind of difference would it be? I mean all shikai are types of weapons...what am I going to do? Fight with my fists? "

He laughed and then jabbed his sword into the object and awaited its transformation

As Kagen's figure started to change to the fox he felt the chill and the intent. He tilted his head and then sighed.

"That intent can even affect my mellow..."

The fox had formed and Wangetsu spoke.
Well kiddo....its time for your training...Now the basics of our powers are basically all around space and time....What we need to do for you is that we need to have you train in all around mind body and spirit...We will first go through extreme mind training...Are you ready.?

"Heh, wangetsu, we should all know how ready i am for mind and spirit."

After thinking for little while, Akane came to a conclusion.

"The question would be: If I were to ask the other guard if he was the liar, what would he say?"

Coterus smiled and nodded.

"Very good Akane. Are you prepared for your next test?"

"Yes I am Coterus."

At that same instant, Akane noticed the wink and then the giant change in spiritual pressure, temperature, and killing intent. Then the snow hit and Akane looked around and tried his best to ignore everything, though he did shiver every couple of minutes.

"Very will. You will be submitted to an electricity resistance test. If you can resist for ten minutes without using your powers, you will pass. Are you ready?"

Akane nodded.

"Yes I am."

Without warning, Coterus began to pour electricity onto and into Akane, who groaned in pain and came close to falling to his knees.

Kagen, this power requires to be able to command many different aspects of many different situations at once....I'll take you into a world away from this...but there is one thing...you are going to have to fight as far as the normal human can...

"In other words..."

Kagen sighed.

"No powers at all, huh?"

Yeah, and no sword either. You have to go through five challenges at the same moment...Now, go."

Suddenly wangetsu stomped a foot down as a lack orb seemed to envelop the two, hiding them from anything that was on the outside of that orb, even the temperatures.

Karume smirked at him slightly, her hand remaining on her blade while he spoke. She wanted to wait, she wanted to her what he had to say, but the moment he finished she took the offensive and sprinted toward him, immediately flashing to Shunpo to step behind him just as she called for her zanpakuto spirit, jumping backward to avoid any attack on her feint before he could react to it. She wasn't stupid, Aisu had a god like speed even she couldn't dream of matching at times, she wasn't going to be so dumb as to stand within his range. She'd fight exactly the way she liked to with Kotomaru, from a distance and with something that couldn't be fought. Water surrounded the human body for a reason, it was beyond eighty percent of their make up, and even for shinigami, when the spirits become spirits and command the elements, that water was still available. Perhaps not in the highest amount as it was for a living person, but it was natural for the air to hold water so it was easy to go undetected. When the white eyes of the water figure were blended with the color of snow, there was no way to tell just where the attack would come from, and that would hopefully be her victory. But alas, she wasn't about to kill him, he was to pretty to injure, and poison like that, no matter how little a dos, if he didn't give she'd kill him anyways, she'd have to play another strategy to get him down, or she'd be stuck. She wasn't going to lose, but telling Aisu he was poisoned would be a difficult task with Kotomaru, so she'd have to figure that out guickly, before she made an attempt. In the mean time, she did have a plan to act on, and first came making him think there was a fear in something else.
Drawing her blade, well, the hilt that remained visible while the water was dispersed, she practically waved it in Aisu's face. She wanted him to have a flase sense of security, and she'd play with him like that for a while, at least until she enacted her real move. While she waveed, Kotomaru slunk closer, the eyes and water of it moving nearer to him with every passing moment. Only a foot from him, the frame stopped and stood still, the water gathering to the shape of a woman with white eyes like snow. All part of the plan. "neh neh, Kotomaru? We weren't showing off, just letting go, neh? No point in wasting energy holding back."

Kotomaru groaned slightly, this woman really was a nut job. She was wasting time and energy proving a point, and being stupid about it all in addition. 'Karume, grow up. If you have a point to prove, then prove it, otherwise leave me alone, I want to enjoy myself.'
"Lazy Koto-chan... you don't like to help. I guess I know where I get it from then." Karume stated simply before looking back to Aisu with a smile, sticking her tongue out. All she wanted was a little fun, Akane just had to go and ruin it with a wager. Karume could beat that kid down any day of the week, but she had to give him props, he was loyal to his captain through and through, it just pissed her off. There was no one she wanted to be so loyal to Aisu that they'd dislike her in such a way, it pissed her off, and if that kid ever wanted to be forgiven for few words and a short moment, Karume would not be the one to offer forgiveness, and at that point, he probably knew that.

After ten minutes, Coterus called back the electricity and Akane stood tall, slightly out of breath. His clothes were severly tattered and torn, the edges of all tears looking burnt. His breathing was heavy and labored, but he still stood strong, looking Coterus in the eyes.

"What next?"

"You must rest before you can take your final test. Sit and rest."

Akane sat in the snow, not caring about the wetness or cold, and used a little bit of spiritual power to push the snow back. He simply sat there and rested.

It was at the time that she had started to move that she would feel a boneshattering kick to her lower back which would send her flying. Moving in an instant at speeds that exceeded a normal master shunpo Karume would most likely not have seen the attack comming. The fact that an afterimage was left in Aisu's place would only help that fact that she would have probably not have seen the attack comming. Aisu moved so swiftly and silently on the snow it could be called graceful even. The most supprising thing for Karume would come when all the water vapour in the air froze and fell to the ground like the snow that was already in the air. Aisu however was also whispering this entire time and as he was Karume would find her arms unmoveable. The next instant all Karume would see was Aisu standing on the top of a tree simply looking down at her

Karume glared at him, a spiteful gleem in her eyes. Sure he'd imobilized her arms, but she could run long enough. She didn't need hands to fight all the time, it was the perks of being at a captain rank, she was better than that. The stupider he acted the more obvious it seemed, did he honestly think she couldn't hold her own with her arms behind her back? God did that piss her off. Grinding her teeth slightly, she looked to the small balls of ice scattered across the snow covered grounds. Kotomaru was not thoroughly defeated, Karume did have a few tricks up her sleeve that she wasn't about to let onto. Sure that kick to her back had taken it's tole, but for her she could manage, she had gotten at least partly out of the way that she absorbed the impact instead of going flying, though it may have helped to gain some distance from him, it was just the landing on her face part that she didn't want to deal with in that. Instead, there was something else she had in mind.
Fast as she could, an excess of speed to her previous shunpo, she reached the frozen balls of ice that lay scattered across the ground. With a quick kick, she knocked the solid water into the air, hooking her left foot around her right to knock her sheath. It wasn't a lot, but it was enough to get the hilt to move and that's all she wanted, that space between her sheath and hilt was enough space for the water of her blade to rejoin as solid metal as it had before, the kick into the air having caused just enough friction between her contact and the friction of the air, to heat the ice for the water to move and return to it's place, though it was the excessive speed that guided her through the motion. It was almost as if Aisu was trying to piss her off with all this, he sure had decided on making her weapon impossible to use unless in it's actual hand held form, Kotomaru as a spirit was useless unless she used bankai, and Karume herself had decided she wasn't going to let it go that far, she could prove her point without breaking shikai for anything more powerful, she was just working under a slight handicap without an extra point, that was a little annoying. New strategy time, but she'd probably have to do her tactical thinking from a longer distance than the one she currently stood at. Flushed red in the face with anger, she looked up at Aisu and shook her head before jumping back, the snow crunching beneath her at the jump just as she used her slightly enhanced shunpo to back up. She'd probably never reach Aisu, there was obviously something to him that she didn't have, but part of what they were doing was proving she still stood a chance, and for the moment that was what mattered. She may lose in the long run, but finding her flaws against Aisu would help her about as much as if she were up against Yata himself. She needed both this victory and loss for future reference.
"Damn it Aisu, play fair!!! I won't use my bankai, you just can't decapitate freaking Kotomaru like that... I've already got to deal with her lazy a**, don't make it worse! She complains like a mother, don't give her more reason!!" Karume called across the space, though it was still rather playful. She really didn't seem to be trying, and she wouldn't seem that way till she sawe the color that called to her. Without the crimson red of blood she just wasn't that hard at work. Besides that, what she'd said might have said a little about her, it was probably a bit unlikely that she realized just how much she and Kotomaru had in common. It was like dealing with herself every freaking fight. She could learn a thing or two from Kotomaru.

Kagen awoke to himself in what seemed like a tomb as he heard Wangetsu.

Haha I was just kidding your going to have to dodge every weapon thrown at you in this first test. The key thing is to realize how to dodge things without your powers.

Damn it wangetsu! Getting me all riled up and prepared for nothing!!!" Kagen exclaimed as his right fist went up in front of him.

"Well I guess we should get on with this..."

Oh and yeah, as each blow hits you, you are going to feel it when you awaken....so try to stay stable so we don't have to wait a day for you to recover to get on wiht the final test...

"Sure thing man..."

Kagen's arms spread out as his knees bent. He took a deep breath of the air in this dark tomb. He closed his eyes then contracted his muscles as he then pulled the arms in with the elbows bent back...

"haahhhhh..."

He shoved his hands extended all the way forward and then closed them into fists as they cracked. Kagen opened up his eyes as he then stood firm stomping his right foot and twisting his arms as his elbows cracked, then he moved his shoulder in a circular motion as it cracked too.

"Lets go..."

The sad thing was that there were knives already coming for Kagen's back as two axes came for Kagen's shoulders and then what seemed like a ghostly figure of a samurai came from the front with a thrust.

"Wha!?!?! "

A comedic part of Kagen's eyes going white and jaw dropping happened as he then took sight of the situation and stepped back with a twist of his body. As his body backed up the knives had gotten closer but the axes were missed and then with the twist he had barely been scrapped by the knives from his stomach and back.

"Phew..."

Kagen then noticed the ghostly figure's thrust change to a side sweep as Kagen then kicked off his left foot and lowered his body to grab a hold of him by hand. He then kicked off his right foot to continue the circulation and cause his left foot to impact the samurai. in the gut. The figure then split apart as it dispersed into to the air and turned into what seemed like a large rain cloud.

"Kagen feels as though this isn't the time to be sitting around....

He spoke as his left foot planted for a moment and his right landed causing him to get into a running position and he dashed forward in a roll as a mass of weapons began to fall from the skies in a fluid motion with intense speeds.

Finally, Akane was well rested and he stood, Coterus instantly knowing that Akane was fully rested.

"You may use all of your powers and your zanpakuto. Your task. You must fight me, and win."

"W-what?!? I don't want to fight you. Is there no other way?"

"Either fight me, or never reach bankai."

"Fine, Coterus. I will fight."

Coterus smiled as a zanpakuto formed in his hand and he stood at the ready. Akane held his own zanpakuto ready and, in a brilliant show of speed, rushed forward, attempting to slice Coterus from Akane's left to right.

It was at this point that Karume was not moving that ice would form around her feet making her unable to move them unless she was somehow unable to break it. It was also at this point that a dome of ice would form around Karume sealing her and her soon frozen legs inside. The worst part was that each second the ice was getting farther up her body most likely giving her frost bite as it advanced. It was at the point that the ice started to advance past her knee that spikes would appear on the inside of the ice plungeing into her skin and doing major damage. All Aisu could do was sigh, he hated hurting karume like this but if he didn't he knew she wouldnt stop.

Okay, he really was trying to hurt her. She narrowly managed to pull one leg out of the way, but he'd caught her left leg in his ice which was good enough because it slowed her down and kept her from escaping the dome, that was all he really needed. He knew she was just playing, she really wasn't taking it all that seriously, after all her weapon was poison, it was something that even the best equipped of captains often couldn't handle and she'd been afraid to use it any sooner, unlike Aisu, she apparently cared if he got hurt. She hoped that wasn't the truth, she wanted him to at least care that she was hurt the more he let that frost cling to her leg but the moment the first spike dug into her leg and that crimson liquor shined through the ere ice around her leg, she lost hope that he cared, she was actually going to have to be serious. The more the spikes dug into her leg, the more it made her cringe in pain, but she did her best not to make a sound, Aisu would stop soon enough if he knew she already couldn't move, right? Well if he didn't she was working on something else. Thick as the ice was, it wasn't a diamond, it could break, and though it would hurt like hell, the right movement and speed would get her leg free of that icey lock, and hopefully she'd get out of his little prison. Call her Houdini, but she wasn't stupid, she could get out of that if so needed, and apparently it was needed at that point.
Kneelinng slightly, well to the best of her capabilities with a frozen leg, she took a moment to prep herself before making her first attempt at breaking free, but with the ice up to her knee she had nearly no mobile capabilities anymore. She didn't know what she had left to do anymore, Aisu was probably the one man she knew from the start she couldn't beat unless she took him in the first few moments, against Aisu, it was all determined on time, she just didn't have the guts to hurt him any sooner, he apparently did. What was there that she could do, she was without a weapon, without mobility, and apparently stuck with a boyfriend who enjoyed hurting her, and damn did it hurt. Her left leg was spotted red from blood that had frozen against her skin, her arms were stuck behind her back in a way she wished she'd payed attention to about breaking, and she was alone. Was he trying to torture her? She was starting to think so.
Letting her head droop slightly, she gave in. He wasn't playing fair, she hadn't been giving it her all because it was just a spar and she didn't want to hurt him, he just wasn't playing the same and when he was already a clear shot at winning, it was like giving her five handicaps under him and no boost to reach back up and grab him, he was just cheating. Oh god did that piss her off. Angered and upset with him, she let her head hand, there was no point in a struggle, he had her nice and tight. She had a lot of work to do if she wanted to even stand a chance against him while he was cheating. "Fine Aisu, if you wanted to win, you won, just let me go! Koto's mad at me, my legs a freaking red popsicle, my spirits crushed and my ego's bruised. Is there anything else you wanted to get through with or are you going to let me go?" she muttered harshly, shaking her head. God she hated him in that moment, she wasn't sure she had anything left in her to love him, but the moment she touched him it would probably all melt away, in the mean time she was still pissed off and really yurning for the moment she could smack her palm across his cheek and give an ear full for what he'd just done.

It was at the point that the ice began to crawl up Karume's leg that Aisu would realese his shikai thus dispersing all of his techniques. The ice receeded from Karume's leg and the dome stopped appearing however the snow remained falling beautifully. Vanishing he appeared in front of her picking her up in his arms and smiling placing a loving kiss on her forehead. He had stopped just beore the ice spikes appeared meaning the only damage she took was the kick and minor frostbite. It was about that moment that the feeling in her arms returned also. Aisu would look downinto her eyes with a really sorry look being conveyed by his ice blue eyes. Placing a loving kiss upon her lips he smiled.

"Please forgive me my love... Although I think it's time I told you something...."

He said leaning in towards her ear kissing it once before he began to whisper.

"Im a former Captain Commander ... I will explain the rest of the details to you over dinner and more tonight ok?"

He smiled hoping she would forgive him for the entire situation. However he new she would know what he meant by more tonight and all he could do was smile and hold her close.
