((Yuugi, Jounouchi, and Akiko can go to gym class. Lerena, Renoko, and Marik can skip class. I wasn't sure if Marik would skip class or not, but that's definitely down the ally of Renoko and Lerena. I'm not sure what Marik plans to do if he skips class as well, but Lerena and Renoko are planning to do some karaoke to calm her down. The ironic thing is that I'm sleepy while typing this post. XD))

"Morning, Marik. My sister is probably more tired than she looks. To top this off, she's more irritable than usual. She got less than five hours of sleep last night thanks to a nightmare she had."

"I am not irritable!" Lerena snapped angrily. "Morning." she answered sleepily. "I am tired, but at least I don't look angry for once." She stared at Marik for a moment, almost in a trance, before she made herself snap out of it.

"You may not look angry, but you are irritable, like it or not." Renoko commented. "So, Lerena, are we slipping classes today?" she asked.

"I've pretty much decided to skip classes for today. I want to do some karaoke to calm myself down. A nightmare hasn't gotten me so worked up in ages."

"I doubt that you could have two nightmares in a row." pointed out Renoko.

"Well, Marik, Renoko and I are ditching class today. If you plan on going, tell the teacher some random bullcrap about why Renoko and I aren't coming. I doubt we're doing anything important today anyway."

"Hey! Don't ignore me!" ordered Renoko.

"Anyway, cya, unless of course you'd rather join us. Karaoke doesn't seem like your thing though." Lerena remarked. She walked down the steps a little past Marik. "Coming, Renoko?"

"Fine." said Renoko. She walked down the stairs past Lerena. "You sure you don't want to go home and sleep instead?"

"Renoko, I'm plagued by a nightmare. You think I want to sleep right now?" she retorted.

Yuugi looked at Akiko strangely. Instead of punching, he figured she might get a bruise from being poked with the end of an eraser. If she truly was cured, then there would be nothing to worry about. It was a request from a friend so he'd do it. It may be a weird request, but he'd probably ask for something similar if he had the same condition. He got out a pencil and poked Akiko with the end of it hard enough that she might have gotten a bruise from it the day before. He waited for the results. "I don't feel comfortable punching a friend even if it's playful." he explained with a sigh. "But I figured that with your condition you would've gotten a bruise from that."

[[oh yea, I can see Marik skipping class XD He'll just follow the two girls I think. He can actually enjoy the two singing without falling under their control since he has the rod with him. ]]

Well, it was nice that he didn't want to comply with her first request. And the pencil thing was enough to work to. "No no, poking will work. My one friend kept poking me one day in the same spot, not even that hard, and I still gotta mark from it," she said sweatdropping while she thought about it.

"And you yelled at me about your wrist?" he asked with a chuckle.

"Well, I probably deserved it. Afterall, I kept poking her back to. Come to think about it, I started it," she said with a silly smile. When he was done she rolled her sleeve down. "I'll check it later. Thanks. It's just weird to wake up and be well, better. And no, it's not a bad thing, just strange. I just need to know you know?" she said trying to explain herself.

Marik kept his eyes mainly on Lerena, even though he would glance at Renoko when she spoke. "I have nothing better to do. And school absolutely bores me to death," he said accepting to go somewhere else other then class. He couldn't lose really, class WAS boring as all hell, and spending time with Lerena and Renoko couldn't be that bad. "I'll just come and watch," he said turning around and walking behind Lerena. Certainly karaoke was not his thing, and he'd be caught dead if he did it himself. But he could just watch them.

He looked over at Lerena, "Nightmares aren't real, just keep telling yourself that," he said trying to contribute a little to the fact. Marik couldn't remember whether or not he's ever had a nightmare. Probably as a child, but he could no longer remember what they were. He was also a bit curious, what kind of nightmare could she have that would bother her so? He was interested. He smirked, "So what does a Demonic Sister dream about? What nightmare can bother her?" Even though he was trying to just talk to her, he couldn't break the habit of being a bit of a smart a**.

. . .

Class went by and Akiko took note that both Lerena and Renoko weren't in class today. She didn't notice Marik being absent either cause she only really took notice of him once during the group project. She looked over at Yuugi, now what was he going to do? She sighed, it was bothersome really. After some time past, she checked her arm to see if there was a bruise. Nothing.

Jonouchi walked with Yuugi to the men's locker room. "I can't believe this!" Jonouchi said irritated. "They're not in class today!? What the hell! They must be doing this to piss us off! They knew they would be after them today! Damn it!" he complained. "Remind me to yell at Akiko. We should have just gotten it back yesterday!" he said walking over to his locker.

It finally came time for gym. She walked into the women's locker room. She remembered that she was going to bring her own gym clothes this time- a good 'ol pair of sweatpants. She looked threw her bag to try to find them. She didn't she never packed them, however, she felt something hard and geometric. She looked confused, what the hell was it? She changed first to get that out of the way. Afterwards, she checked her bag to see what that was. Everyone was already out of the locker room except for her. She pulled out the item to see it was, it was Yuugi's Millennium Puzzle! "WHAT THE HELL!?" she shouted, shocked to see it in her possession. "What...... why.....?" she said. She felt her head become light, she felt dizzy. She closed her eyes tightly, trying to make the tunneling feeling stop.

No matter how much Akiko tried to make it stop, Ammeterasu took control. "Sorry, but you would just give it back to him. I have to make sure," she said putting her bags into the locker and locking it. She held onto the puzzle by the rope as she walked out into the gym. She couldn't confront him out in the open, she waited outside the gym building for him. She had to hope he would go outside, some students did but passed her to go to the field. She waited for him.

[[the next posts I'm not going to reply for Jonouchi, he's off doing something else when Yuugi goes outside for whatever reason you want to give him.]]

((Katakoi Enka. You're stuck with the video if you want to know the lyrics and how it sounds XD!

Aka to Kuro
. I don't have the translation to this song, but I wanted Lerena to sing it anyway.

Ankoku no Tsubasa. You may recognize this song. I combined it with other songs earlier.

Voice in the Dark. You may also recognize this song.

Shining Days. I pissed my computer off searching for this song and I don't care to find a video that has the translation on it. It's the opening to Mai HiME, an anime that I adore so much. I tried making a Mai HiME and YGO crossover RP, but no one thinks it's an interesting idea -.-" Stupid people.

Ashita ga Mienakute. It's ironic that I like this song, because it's sung by a character I really really hate.

Six songs is enough for one post. XD! I'm going to use a song called 'Snowstorm' in the next post depending on your next reply for Marik. I don't know whether he wants to comment on the songs they're singing or not, but the last song Lerena sang is really important, because she really feels this way. Again from FMA Brotherhood seems like a good song to sing too.))

He waited for Akiko to walk out of the girl's locker room, but she didn't. "Great. I must've been talking to Jounouchi and she just left." he thought. Yuugi walked outside to look for Akiko and his eyes widened. "Akiko! Why do you have my Millennium Puzzle?!" he asked, running up to her. "That's very important to me. After all, it's thanks to this that I was able to make a very important friend." he said being quite vague. Although he could be referring to his yami, Yuugi was actually talking about Jounouchi.

"Sister's nightmares are very realistic. Nightmares for her shake her up even though she knows they aren't real. She's sensitive to nightmares, because they often involve one of her darkest fears coming to light. Since she hasn't told me the exact details of what's bothering me, I can't help her though. What can bother us? Not much. However, more bothers her than me. My only true fear is losing her. It is my duty to protect her." explained Renoko as she kept walking.

"I usually get over nightmares within a few hours or so since they're mostly so dumb. However, this time, it seems to be a lot worse. If you want to know what nightmare can plague me for so long, you'll have to probe my mind." she said with a smirk.

Renoko stared at her and sighed. "She's typically bothered by dreams that involve a person worse than her split personality. Why, you ask? Well, I don't know. It's hard to imagine a person worse than Darla."

"He didn't ask anything, you smartass." she pointed out sarcastically.

"As it would seem, you are one as well. Anyway, we're here." said Renoko. She stepped into the bar.

"Ah, Renoko, Lerena. Welcome back." said the person at the bar.

"Why, thank you. The karaoke room for six hours please." she requested.

"Six hours?! Who can sing that long?!" he asked.

"It's for me. It's important." said Lerena with a smirk.

"Of course, Sisters." he said leading the three to the karaoke room. "We just got a new pack of songs last week. You two should try them out." said the man and he walked away.

"Watch and learn how real singing is done." said Renoko to Marik. Since they wouldn't be using their materialized microphones, they wouldn't be able to do anything to Marik even if he didn't have his Rod with him. "Would you care to go first, Sister?" Renoko asked.

"Yes. I will go first." she said, taking the microphone.

"Will it be Katakoi Enka again?" she asked sarcastically.

She crossed her arms. "No! I sang that three times last time I was here."

"I'll sing it then. Man, I love that song. What do you want to sing?" she asked.

"Why do you want to sing a song we've sung a thousand freaking times at least?" Lerena remarked.

"Because it fits you so well."

"Whatever. Cut on Ankoku no Tsubasa." Lerena ordered, taking her stance, her face flushed slightly red.

"Very well. This is your stage." she said, cutting it on.

"More beautiful than a rose, more seductive than the moon. If you want that precious life, then force yourself to bloom in this hand. The door to the world of darkness will now open. Once again, leave everything to fate and be reborn. Now. Close those eyelids of yours and find the masquerade in the middle of the night. Now, slip into darkness. Come! There's no reason to be afraid. And be there for eternity." Lerena sang almost flawlessly in her mature singing voice. The machine gave her a 9.5. "Perfect. I knew I deserved at least a 9.0 for that attempt. Your turn, Renoko."

"Turn on Katakoi Enka." she requested. When Lerena did it, she began to say the dialogue. "It was like a dream of spring. Flowers of cherry trees fell, whereas I fell in love. A nice love, a love eternal, a burning love, which sank me in a worrying state of mental darkness." The dialogue ended and she began to sing.

"I gently lay my lips on your moist hair and close my eyes. May I not wallow in my sorrow? I chase you as my heart is set aflame. I chase you as I were a demon. One day, together we shall go into death. Ah! The flower of love dances, manipulated by a dream. If we were to be set apart by the mere blowing of the wind, I would set the day that we embraced in flames. And turning into ashes of fading crimson, I long to disintegrate inside my love. The wretchedness of peristent thoughts and the wretchedness of their suppression. Will you weep for me if I die? Ah. The sakura of unrequited love seemingly withers upon hearing it. Once the stars cry out, they will illuminate the night. Irrepressible love burns everything into entirety. This time you will not escape. Even if this body were to perish, I will not let you go." sang Renoko. Every note was hit beautifully and not a moment too soon. It was obvious the two girls sang this song way too much. A 10.0 came up on the screen.

"You are insane if you think that song describes me in any way." Lerena remarked with her eyes closed. Deep inside her, she knew it was true. She just didn't want to admit it. "I want to try Aka to Kuro." said Lerena. "Cut it on so I can try." She started the song, but this attempt only got her an 8.4. "It was pretty good for a first try. Let's try a duet, Renoko."

"Voice in the Dark, then?" she suggested.

"Of course." she said turning on the song and then getting ready to sing.

"Voice in the Dark! The ~Melody~ of Darkness that steals the bonds between your pearls. Voice in the Dark! Now! Let"s begin this magnificently beautiful show! Voice in the Dark! Our song is brought forth with the echo of the power of darkness! Peace is nothing more but an illusion falsely reflected off the surface of a mirror. A string made of waves entwines around one another bundling, and becomes a tide. The demonic energies in our hearts change into a prank-filled vigor. Surely, it would bewilder those who are weaker than us. Voice in the Dark! A black wave gently plays this melody we sing. Voice in the Dark! It stops all love, and becomes a chain with no shape" When they were finished with the song, they observed the machine. Lerena got a 9.4 and Renoko got a 9.2.

"Haha." snickered Lerena.

"That threw the symmetry off! How could you sing better than me?!" she asked. "Our duets are supposed to have the same scores." she explained.

"I don't know." replied Lerena with a smirk. They sat down on the couch for a break. "What should we sing next?" she asked Renoko.

"I don't know. Maybe a love song." she said with a smirk at her sister.

"Hell no." she answered coldly. "We specialize in dark songs. I just can't think of anything else that I feel like singing."

"Let's sing Shining Days."

"I can't be bothered. You sing it." suggested Lerena, who liked the song but hated singing anything with a happy beat.

She turned it on and began to sing. "...how I wish you were my destined person. Reality doesn't always work right..." she sang.

Lerena was leaning against the back of the couch with her eyes closed and one leg over the other. One hand grasped a wrist over her lap. She was asleep for as long as about three minutes. Her mind was plagued by another nightmare and she was suffering.

::The Nightmare:: Lerena was in the boiler room in her house. Her hands were covered in blood, but it wasn't her blood. Her hands burned because of the hot metal from her Millennium Claws and then she saw Yami tied to a cross to her right. She walked over to it. Her eye began to burn. Blood soaked through her cotton eyepatch and the pain was near unbearable. "Tormenting you when you're acting dead, Pharaoh, won't make the pain in my eye diminish in the least!" she said bitterly making a huge scratch across his face. A figure was in the shadows holding the Millennium Rod. When the figure came into view, the Rod had been taken apart to reveal a knife. "Stop it." she ordered. "Who are you?" she asked as the pain worsened. The figure remained quiet and then he spoke. "Are you trying to escape from me, Lerena?" he asked with a smirk. "The pain hurts." said Lerena. Blood dripped down her legs and her entire body was aching now. "That's good. I quite enjoy seeing my victims in pain." replied the figure. "You...who are you?!" she asked angrily. "Oh, don't you know? I thought you had an interest in me before." he replied. ::End The Nightmare::

She woke up abruptly and looked at her hands. They weren't hot. In fact, they were relatively cool. Lerena felt her eye. There was nothing protecting it from bleeding too much and her eye was perfectly healthy. In addition, her legs were clean.

"Lerena, are you alright?" asked Renoko, concerned as the song finished up leaving her with an 8.0.

She looked empty for a minute and then she looked up at her sister with a calm face full of pain. She couldn't help but look angry after she had just dreamed about being in pain which she had apparently blamed the Pharaoh for. "It may have been fake, but it still hurt." she replied as she stood up and walked to the stage. "If I'm not careful, I could develop insomnia." she remarked. "But we're not here for me to dwell on my issues."

"What did you dream?"

"I dreamed about *him* again. And I was about to kill Yuugi. I blamed Yuugi for the pain in my eye in the dream. It wasn't as bad as the first one unless you count the physical pain. Who knows why my eye was really injured, but I doubt that Yuugi is capable of being that violent. Do you care to cut on the next song I wish to song?"

"Hm. Great..." she muttered sarcastically. She turned her head to look at Marik. "Unless you wish to contribute to this conversation, could you give me a moment to deal with Lerena's problem, Marik?" she requested. Even if she was obviously speaking privately with Lerena, the two girls had naturally loud voices and could still be heard by Marik anyway.

"I'm fine, Renoko. The second time wasn't as bad. I think I'm getting used to it."

"Do you consider this a nightmare?"

"No. I just consider it extremely painful and sadistic of my subconscious." remarked Lerena sarcastically. "Do me a favor and get ready to turn on a song for me, won't you?"

"Lerena. You're not meant to have nightmares every time you sleep." She was hoping that Marik would have time to say something to stop Lerena from being so reckless, but Lerena didn't give him a chance.

"Are you ignoring my orders?" Lerena asked coldly.

Her eyes widened. It was that voice; the voice so full of authority that not listening to her would result in punishment. Only Mother had ever used this tone with her. She sighed. "Fine. What song do you wish to sing?" Renoko asked.

"I was thinking something slightly different. Ashita ga Mienakute. It'll at least be something to sing until I can come up with something better."

"Ashita ga Mienakute? Really? Are you feeling okay?"

"Just turn it on. I can't think of anything else to sing, okay?"

"I'm just worried when some of the songs you sing are connected to your emotions."

"Turn. it. on." she ordered while tapping her foot.

"You're really being difficult. Just open up for once." Renoko remarked as she turned on the song.

Her eyes closed as Renoko cut on the song. "The wish that I raised all by myself shall bloom like a beautiful flower. If my dream can't be granted, and I"m going to give up, then at least, let the seed be sown in the ground. Right now, I just want to quietly sleep in a translucent wind embraced in wings. Let's look for the whereabouts of the destiny I was entrusted with. A swarm of falling petal-like feathers dance down. As if I was being called out by a mirage, I came all the way to this place.
Someone please tell me I'm not all alone before the shape of my dream fades away. I've been gathering the fragments of my sadness that can be seen reflected in my eyes. Eternity is so endless and suffocating. So much that it sounds like something someone would long for. I want to be loved and for someone to be next to me, but I can't seem to find tomorrow.
" When she looked at the screen, it came up with a 10.0. She sighed. When she put her emotions into a song, she usually got higher than a 9.8. Would Renoko bother her about this?

Renoko listened, but Lerena's score bothered her. She didn't pick at the issue like she typically did, but part of the reason was because Marik was in the room with them. "My turn then?" she asked.

"Indeed, if you can think of anything to sing." Lerena remarked sarcastically as she sat down on the couch. "I do feel slightly better after singing that though."

"Uh huh, I wonder why." Renoko remarked sarcastically, referring to Lerena's nature to calm down after spilling her emotions in a song.

Lerena snorted. "I note your sarcasm, Sister. Pick a song and sing it."

"I have to choose one first." she said, flipping through a list of songs. She wondered if Marik had anything to say about any of the songs they were singing, and more importantly, the nightmare that Lerena just had. Even if Lerena wasn't worried about it, Renoko was. Pain in a dream often symbolized Lerena holding something back and being unable to express a desire.

She leaned against the back of the couch again and began to wonder if Marik enjoyed her singing. She turned red. Why was she thinking such things? It didn't matter. Lerena loved her singing and so did the karaoke machine. There was no need for her to desire anyone else's opinion, because karaoke was a past time, a stress reliever. Marik's opinion didn't matter to her! She often looked angry or depressed at times where she wasn't, but she had no idea how she truly felt at the moment. She was far too tired to desire much of anything except...NO! She crossed her arms. Were her emotions connected to the last song she sang? She was afraid to admit to herself that they might be. Hopefully Marik wasn't too bored though. Man, why was this guy always on her mind? It was getting annoying.

[[Sorry I was away. btw, Billy Mays is dead sad ]]

Ammeterasu had her glasses on her head and her arms crossed. She pulled the puzzle away from his grasp when he came near. "I won it back from Lerena yesterday," she started as she stared at him. Her iris' were white again, she didn't bother concealing them. "Perhaps, just to be fair, I should give you who I am," she said leaning off of the wall and taking a step toward him, "this is in fact your friend's body, however, she is not conscious right now- I am. And my name is Ammeterasu." Her tone was serious as she looked at the short teen. She didn't care if he thought she was crazy, she had to do what she was told to.

"You told me yesterday that you put together the Millennium Puzzle, if that is true, then you must know what happened afterwards," she glared at him, letting him know she should be taken seriously. "Only one person is able to solve the puzzle, but many are able to lie about it. You look at me as if I think you are a liar. I don't, not personally. It's just my job to make sure this doesn't end up in the wrong hands. If you tell me what I need to know, and I see your truth, then you can rightfully have the puzzle back, without having to win it from me," she said staring at him.

She had the ability to see people's true personality, who they really were. She was doing that right now. She could tell he was kind and gentle. He was not deceitful, nor able to hold hostility. The orb glowed with a light and airy sky blue, the color represented his soul, his personality. However, she still had to know if he told the truth. If he did solve the item, then the soul within the puzzle and he should have been united, just as her soul had done with the girl.

She raised an eyebrow when he mentioned meeting an important friend. She did not assume anything, rather, she waited to hear what he had to say. She was sure he would also have questions for her as well.

Marik only smirked when Lerena said he would have to probe her mind. 'Don't tempt me' he thought to himself. He lowered an eyebrow when Renoko mentioned a split personality. Sounded like the Pharaoh and his host. But he couldn't assume that just because somebody says 'split personality'. It could well mean the psychological condition. "Somebody worse?" he repeated. Sure Lerena was strong, but he didn't think she was bad. Then again, he didn't think he was bad himself, or even that he was doing things wrong. No, he and she were just living the way they wanted to, and if living on your freedom was bad, then everyone in the world was just as guilty.

"You're actually pretty entertaining when you're aggravated," he said chuckling cooly when Lerena snapped at her sister.

They reached the Karaoke bar. Marik took a look around, seemed interesting enough. He followed them into the room, sitting on the couch to watch the two. He wouldn't admit it, but it was kind of exciting- for the fact that he's never been in a Karaoke bar. He just hoped the two could sing, otherwise he would just leave. A waitress walked by and asked if he wanted anything to drink, he threw $2 on the tray and asked for a soda. The waitress came back with his purchase and change. Marik took it, not giving the waitress a thank you or recognition. He sipped on his drink as he watched the two. Thankfully, they did have nice voices, excellent in fact. He focused a bit more on Lerena then Renoko- her voice was beautiful. "So do you two normally compete when you both sing?" he asked.

Lerena then sat behind him and shut her eyes. He peeked over, unsure of her actions. It was only a few minutes before her sister walked up to her. He turned his body so he could watch. He too saw how empty she looked when she woke. It actually bothered him, he didn't like seeing emptiness in her. Apparently she dreamt again, perhaps another nightmare? When she spoke of 'him' Marik didn't know that she was referring to him, rather, his dark side. Killing Yuugi made him wear a small smirk. Not so much Yuugi, just that damn Pharaoh. "Well, not Yuugi himself," he mumbled vaguely referring to the Pharaoh being violent.

Marik had no time to leave or even jump in to help Lerena. So he sat there and watched as they prepared the next song. He was especially efficiated on this song. He kind of dazed off during it.

Once it finished, he returned to full consciousness. The two sisters bickered at each other while Marik thought about Lerena and what she could have possibly dreamt about. She didn't completely finish her story about her second dream, he was sure that what she told them wasn't the whole story- that couldn't have upset her. And he knew it upset her, he just could tell. But she certainly wasn't telling her sister, so he couldn't get her to tell him with her there. Perhaps later he could ask.

She went back to sitting behind him. He peeked over and looked at her with the corner of his eyes. "Hey," he said getting her attention. He lifted his half empty glass and shook it a little, "Want something to drink?" He snapped for a waitress to come to him, surprisingly, she didn't fuss- she seemed more frightful of the group then anything. "Well?" he asked her, willing to buy her something she wanted. He sighed, he knew he didn't like the idea of her having nightmares. He was done asking himself why he cared, it was obvious he couldn't stop. So rather, he accepted that he cared a bit for her. Seeing her not sleep and practically doze off every few minutes were bothersome. "Well don't you know the trick to avoiding nightmares?" he said hoping this may work.

((Sorry. I don't know who Billy Mays is. ;^; I heard about his death though. Hopefully he's in a better place now. Unfortunately, it's hard for me to mourn someone's death if I don't know them ;-;

I normally proofread my posts before posting them to make sure it's all nice and good, but Mom is rushing me like the b***h she is. I know she means well, but don't bother me when I'm writing an RP post. ~_~ At least she's more understanding than my dad is. Anyway, I might edit this later if you don't reply fast enough o.o; It was supposed to be better and less rushed. -_-; Don't let this fact stop you from replying though. =3

Innocent. This is a character song for Nao Yuuki from Mai HiME who is most definitely not innocent. Unless this song is a contradiction to her character, I don't think this song is very innocent either.

Kurenai no Ninpuu Rekkaden. I have no idea what this song is about, but I could jokingly say it's about being a ninja. It probably isn't really though.

Snowstorm. I was going to have Lerena sing this, but it seemed more suited to Renoko.

Again. And now Lerena sings again. Less songs in this entry. You may recognize this song from FMA Brotherhood if you've decided to watch it. I'm only linking to the lyrics this time, because the video from my favorites with this song was taken down. I hope you can view the lyrics, but in case you can't, I actually mentioned some of them in this post. I mentioned some of the more juicy lines though. The "..." is a convenient way to skip lines XD!

Rinbu Revolution. Yes, it was necessary for Lerena and Renoko to sing this song. If you listen to this song, I warn you: it's addictive.

A Sample of Dante's Bad Singing. If you want to get a good idea of how Dante sings, wait for the video to buffer and then skip to 2:09. Listen until 2:23 or until you can't stand him anymore. Be grateful I didn't send you the link to this guy singing in English. I can't find the English dub after Episode 5, but that's beside the point.))

"You know about the spirit of the Millennium Puzzle?" asked Yuugi. "I do know about him. When I solved the Puzzle, our souls became one." he replied. "I answered your question. Now I have some for you. What is that orb that Akiko got a hold of? Why did it solve her sickness? She seems really worried about that. Additionally, if you were going to win the puzzle back from her, why didn't you tell Jounouchi and I? Lastly, how come your eyes are white? My eyes don't change color when the other me takes over."

He was worried about who this girl was. It was clear that she truly was not Akiko and that she truly was who she claimed to be. Hopefully she would answer his questions as truthfully as he answered hers. Yuugi didn't question her job, but her motives. It was likely that others would lie about having solved the Millennium Puzzle to get it from him. How had she won a duel against Lerena when he had failed? Did her power truly lie in the teamwork between her and her sister? Was she a more vulnerable duelist without Renoko? This seemed to be the case if she had the Puzzle.

"How were you able to win the puzzle back from Lerena? Didn't she give you any trouble?" he asked at last.

"We don't compete, no, but it does sound like a good idea this time." she remarked. "Up for a little competition, Sister?" she asked with a smirk. If Lerena really wanted to earn Marik's heart, she would show him her full potential and that she could deal with her problems just as easily as any other girl. It was time for her to see through Lerena's motives so she could help her become stronger.

"What's my motivation to win?" asked Lerena. She snapped her fingers for a waitress to come over. "

"If you do, you'll have to fix me dinner. I'll give you the same luxury of course." said Renoko, making sure to influence Lerena into doing her best.

She nodded. "I accept those terms, Sister." she said. She turned to Marik who asked if she wanted something to drink. "I am quite thirsty," she answered, "But I don't know the trick to avoiding nightmares."

The waitress looked at Lerena nervously. When Lerena eyed her with a smirk, her eyes widened and she quickly pulled out a pad and pencil. "What d-do you want, Miss?" she asked.

"What do you think I want? Am I not predictable by now?" she replied smoothly. "Well, actually, I don't want any Dr. Pepper this time. I want some sweet tea. It's good you asked. Now make yourself useful and fetch me my drink. It doesn't look too busy around here. I think you can remember what I want." finished Lerena.

When the waitress put down her order, she asked if Lerena wanted anything to eat as well. She seemed to be trying to restrain herself from breaking down in tears.

"That won't be necessary, but come around lunch, I expect some cheese pizza." said Lerena bluntly. "Thanks for the offer though." The waitress returned with Lerena's drink, not bothering to ask for the money as she walked away. She seemed to be thankful that she escaped with her life.

"I found a nice song." said Renoko. "Kurenai no Ninpuu." she said, cutting on the song and beginning to sing it.

"So you're going to sing about being a ninja?" asked Lerena with a smirk. She knew the lyrics weren't really about being a ninja, but she brought it up anyway.

When Renoko finished up, she stuck her tongue out at Lerena. "That song was not about being a ninja. Your turn."

Lerena sipped her sweet tea and smirked. "Well, if you can get away with being a ninja, maybe I can get away with being innocent. Turn on the song 'Innocent' for me." she said, getting on stage and preparing herself.

"That song isn't about being innocent." Renoko retorted. "And you're far from being innocent." she snorted as she turned on the song.

She said the dialogue and then sang the song in its entirety. She smirked at the 9.9 on the screen when she was finished.

"You know, I heard a rumor that you could get a 20.0 on this machine if you're good enough." she said. "Want to compete to see who can get it?"

"No one's reached that score since your Mother." said a voice.

Lerena snorted and then turned to see Cobra in the doorway. "What are you doing here?"

Cobra crossed his arms. "Uh, I work here?" he pointed out sarcastically with an eyebrow raised.

"Since when do gang leaders work?" retorted Lerena.

"Cobra. Well, isn't this a surprise. I thought you were out murdering people again." Renoko said sarcastically.

"You two are extremely rude. I was merely telling you two that it's extremely hard to reach that score. And I haven't murdered anyone in ages, Renoko."

"I like a good challenge." said Renoko with a roll of her eyes. "When you say you haven't murdered anyone in ages, what does that mean?"

"It has about the same meaning when Lerena says she hasn't written anything good in ages. Anyway, good luck." said Cobra with a smirk.

"Beat it or I'll kick your a** again." snapped Renoko.

"I may be old, but I'm still your uncle, Renoko. I can still discipline you." he said closing his eyes.

"I'm not here to fight so don't start trouble." said Renoko with a sigh.

"Lerena, is karaoke going to make your troubles go away?"

She stood up and turned one hand into one of the Millennium Claws. "I'm not that weak girl you tormented long ago, Cobra. Don't act like you'll ever be my uncle again."

"If you can forgive Renoko, you should be able to forgive me, Lerena. Think about it." he said as he walked away.

"Don't listen to him, Lerena. Anyway, what song do you want me to sing?" she asked.

She sat back down on the couch and sipped her sweet tea before the Millennium Claw disappeared. "So it's true then. Cobra is seeking forgiveness." she said, crossing one leg over the other.

"He's still as arrogant as ever I see. How about Snowstorm?" she asked.

"Snowstorm sounds good. Flattery isn't going to get him anywhere. Does he really work here? I haven't see him around."

"That's because we're usually here in the afternoon or really late at night." pointed out Renoko. "I didn't know Cobra had a work ethic though."

She sipped her sweet tea again. "I thought he was one to give orders, not take them. It is interesting seeing him again. It's like a reunion."

"Well, he didn't really start anything. He always was that arrogant. Perhaps we were a bit too loud; if we didn't start an argument, he probably wouldn't have known we were here."

"I'm glad he didn't take me up on my offer to kick his a** if he didn't go away. I'm still tired. Are you still going to sing Snowstorm, Renoko?"

She looked hesitant, but she sang the song. She got a 9.9 as well. "Best two out of three? I don't know about you, but I need a break for a bit. I'm thirsty."

"Then I need an 11 to best you and win." pointed out Lerena. "You can rest while I sing my song. It'll be 'again' please."

Renoko turned it on and awaited Lerena's take on this beautiful song. Perhaps her sister could make it sound far more beautiful.

"...I wish that you'll understand me...In the labyrinth of emotions where I can’t see the exit, who am I waiting for?...What do I want to flee from? Something known as reality? So that I can fulfill myself, I'm alive...Isn't life too long for erasing these thoughts? I even welcome such a pain that turns nostalgic. Unable to express it well, you were worried, weren't you?...If we meet twice, aren't we friends? So stop lying....In order to move on, I welcome friend and foe alike... I have things left to do, because I want to try redoing them. Let's go again. So that I can fulfill myself, I'm alive...I even welcome such a pain that turns nostalgic." sung Lerena. A ten appeared on the screen. "Oh, come on! Stupid thing."

"Well, then. It looks like our scores are the same. Shall we both sing Rinbu Revolution? The person who sings this song best wins."

She smirked and turned on the song for Renoko.

Renoko sang the song and got an 8.4. "What?! Does this machine think I'm deserving of anything less than a 9.0 or more?!" she said with her arms crossed.

"I can best that." said Lerena, turning on the song. She sang this song passionately and full of emotion. "Let's go on living our lives heroically, with style...And even if the two of us should be separated, take my revolution. In the sunlit garden, hand in hand, we drew close, and soothed each other with the words: Neither of us will ever fall in love again. Our unity was so strong, it changed its form...As of tomorrow, I'll be such a heroic, stylish woman. Everybody will turn and look back at me. But even if the two of us should be separated, our hearts will always be together. They say money can't buy love. I know that, but can love buy me money?...Though I dream, cry, and get hurt, and reality approaches now, frantically, I can't lose my place in life and my self-worth just to protect myself. I'll go my way. No turning back. Before the time comes for each of us to choose a different path I'll release the so precious, oh so precious memories. Take my revolution. Let's go on with our lives. Reality approaches now, frantically. What I want is to find my place and my self-worth, taking who I've been up until today...But even if the two of us should be separated, I will change the world."

"Oh, fine, you have bested me." Renoko said as she saw Lerena's perfect score. She sat down and ordered a cup of sweet tea for herself. She was more polite than Lerena was, but still held that same commanding tone.

"Nice. I knew I'd win." said Lerena as she sat back down on the couch and sipped more tea. "Are you sure you don't want to try at least one song, Marik?" she asked looking at him. "Even if you sing bad, I'm sure you can't be worse than Dante." Lerena pointed out.

"No one can be worse than Dante." said Renoko. "I don't think he even tries to sing well." she added. "Although, liking a person's singing usually starts with liking their voice." Renoko remarked, smirking at Lerena.

'Maybe I shouldn't have even brought up the possibility.' thought Lerena with a slight blush, looking into her half-empty glass of tea. "Quit teasing me." she ordered irritably.

"Oh? So smirking at someone means you're teasing them now?" asked Renoko before she sipped her tea.

"That smirk told me enough of what you were thinking." remarked Lerena with a yawn. "I'm not going to sleep until I know how to stop the nightmares."

Renoko crossed her arms and tried to think. "I don't really have any dreams that I can call nightmares since I don't even fear death and pain isn't an obstacle to overcome as long as you're okay. Have you tried meditation to calm your thoughts?" she suggested as she picked up her glass of tea.

Lerena could see it in her eyes; Renoko desperately wanted her to talk her problem out with Marik. She obviously saw it as the solution as opposed to when she had changed her mind before. If there wasn't the possibility that Marik would doubt her, she might actually be able to open up a bit. She narrowed her eyes at Renoko suspiciously, but didn't address the subject she was thinking about. Earlier, Renoko's stare had told her that it would be best not to tempt Marik to do anything. The same could just as easily be said for her and it seemed that Renoko was trying to tempt her into something.

"What is it? Quit looking at me like that. It's really quite disturbing. All I'm doing is sitting around and drinking tea." replied Renoko. She really did want her sister to address the source of her problem which really seemed to be Marik. If he became aware of his dark side, then Marik would be able to tell her that worrying about it was meaningless. He would explain to her that it was in check and Lerena's nightmares would no doubt stop. Renoko sipped her tea some more and then she set it down on the table in front of her gently. What if there was a bigger issue plaguing her? As it would seem, Marik's opinion did matter to Lerena whether she wanted to accept this or not. "All other matters aside, are you enjoying yourself a considerable amount, Marik? Any songs you'd like me or Lerena to sing?"

At least Renoko was talking to Marik now and not her. Sometimes, it was best that she didn't question why she wanted something, or in this case, someone. However, Renoko's constant indirect references to her interest in him were annoying. Whether Renoko would admit it willingly, she only wanted Lerena near Marik because of her crush on him. Renoko hated men so why did she seem to think that Marik could stop her nightmares? Was she delusional or did she just have her sister's happiness in mind? For once, she was clueless about her sister's true motives. It was obvious that Renoko wanted Marik to tell her something, but what was that? She clasped her hands together thoughtfully.

"What are you thinking about Sister?" Renoko asked.

"I wish I could sleep. I'm so tired." pointed out Lerena. "I feel so pathetic. Worrying about nightmares is what I did when I was 5."

"Well, you also had nightmares about less serious topics like the toilet eating you." retorted Renoko. "Though, most people don't dream about great physical pain at any age."

"Yea, now shut up. The 'nightmares' I had when I was younger were on complete crack and you know it."

"I used to stop my nightmares through meditation, though I had my last real nightmare when I was about ten. I haven't had an actual dream in ages though so I've had nothing to try controlling in my sleep. That's no fun."

"Renoko, when I'm sleepy, my selfish skill goes up 10 points and my irritable skill goes up 20." said Lerena sarcastically.

"That must bring your irritable skill to about 100 then." replied Renoko.

She rolled her eyes and the room filled with silence to give Marik time to reply to any previous comments made to him.

[[haha, it's ok. He's the guy that does the oxi clean, kaboom, mighty putty (etc) commercials. He usually sounds like he's shouting. It's just weird all these people are dying ;-; ]]

"Yes, I do," she said nodding. Her eyes widened slightly when he spoke. Yes, he knew of the spirit in the puzzle as well. She looked at the Puzzle for a second, she felt something. She couldn't explain it. She knew what she had to do was important, but she felt it was important to her, personally. She looked sad for a second, hating that she couldn't match feelings to memories. She looked back at Yuugi when he started to ask her questions. She touched her Millennium Orb. "It's a Millennium Item, but quite different from the others," she replied. "When I received the Orb, it cured me of my blindness. This item belongs to Akiko in this life, it's only natural it would cure her as well. Besides, it's the least I could do for taking her body," she answered.

Amme then tossed him the Puzzle, giving it back to him. She felt in her heart it belonged to him. She was sure, but she still hoped she was right. "You're heart is just my friend. If I told you and your friend I was going to get the item back, you would follow me- you wouldn't let me," she began to explain. "I must apologize to her. I know she was worried," she said. Her host must have been very scared to not know what happened to her yesterday.

"Perhaps his eyes were the same as yours in his past life. Surely there are some physical differences between you and he when he comes into control," she replied. "However, my eyes weren't white in my past life. I'm not sure why they are now," she admitted. She looked at the puzzle in Yuugi's hands. "The man in the puzzle is very important, I assume you know that?" she said, "I would like to speak to him. Please." She felt anxious in her heart to speak with him. She didn't know why. But it would kill her if she didn't talk to him. "You can still listen if you want, it is not private," she added.

"No, she didn't give me trouble. She was willing to just give it to me at first. However, her sister convinced her I duel her. She didn't have the will to keep it, thus why I was able to win it from her. She even told me she wasn't sure why she even wanted it at first. It's hard to read her and her sister, but I don't believe they are bad people. Sometimes, people just do bad things, but that doesn't make them bad," she said. She had always been maturally optimistic- believing that people are not born good or evil.

Marik looked up when Cobra entered. So this was the man they spoke about. He didn't look all that tough, then again, Marik thought nothing of other people. Strange, his mannerism was not how he pictured after Lerena's description.

Marik smirked a little from Lerena's offer. No way would he be caught dead singing, he couldn't. He wouldn't even know what to sing. He chuckled a bit, "No, I'm quite fine. I'd prefer to hear you two sing instead. Much more pleasant than my own voice sqwaking." He was pretty loosened up after hearing them sing. A much nicer change then his usual uptight mood. He could also tell that Renoko was teasing Lerena about her liking of him. He actually found it pleasing- to be admired by someone. He didn't bother trying to rid the feelings- it only left him aggrivated. He didn't bother looking into them though, he was still confused by them.

"Lerena, it simple to rid nigtmares," he said as he waved for her to come sit next to him, "go on, lay down," he added making sure her head was on his leg. "Close your eyes," he said and rubbed her head with his finger tips. "now just, fall asleep," he said. "My sister used to do this for me when I was young, after I had a nightmare. I wouldn't have one if she did this," he said partially lying. His sister did in fact do this for him when he was younger- but he wasn't sure if he had nightmares before she did it. It was too long ago.

((I agree. It is weird that all these people are dying. It's all over the internet about all these deaths.

I remember asking you to do a picture of Lerena some time ago. What's your status on it? Maybe I asked for a picture of Renoko too, but I can't remember if I did or not.))

Yuugi nodded, putting the Millennium Puzzle around his neck and letting the Pharaoh take over. "Ammeterasu is it? Something about that name rings a bell, but I unfortunately cannot remember my memories." he explained. "It seems that you are an ally if you have returned my partner's Puzzle to him. My vision is a bit cloudy as I'm not sure who you are or why you know of my existence. Usually only my enemies know of me." added Atemu. He was glad to be reunited with Yuugi again, but he refused to truly accept Ammeterasu as an ally until he truly spoke with her.

"I wish to address something you said. I want to believe that Lerena and Renoko are not bad people, but I do not understand the Sisters' motives. They still torment men and show no remorse for the sins they committed in the past. Until I know what they're truly after, I cannot declare them an ally nor a true enemy. If what you say is true, than Lerena harbors a deep loyalty for her older sister. It's no surprise since the Helena Clan seems to really close." finished Yami. He put a hand on the Millennium Puzzle.

"I am glad that my friend's sickness has been cured, but I truly hope she is fine with her cured condition. Now, more onto business. What business do you have with me?" he finally asked curiously. This person didn't seem to be evil at all, but he was not one to judge by first appearances.

Renoko stood up and cupped her hands behind her back. "Well, I have some personal matters to attend to. I suggest you don't follow me to the bathroom." she suggested to Lerena. "You need your rest, Sister." Renoko added as she left the room.

Was Renoko crazy leaving the room?! If Marik was truly the source of her nightmares, should she be in the room alone with him? He didn't seem to have any bad intentions, but he also seemed ignorant that his dark sided existed. Even Lerena was in his position until yesterday, ignorant of Darla. Could it be that his word had power over her? In the very least, she hadn't forgotten about Darla at all. Renoko had hinted before at her forgetting about Darla after she was brought up so many times before. Perhaps she had a psychological condition that made her unable to deal with Darla's existence that she had finally got over.

Did his opinion truly matter to her that much? If that was the case, maybe the nightmares would go away if she accepted his help. At first, she couldn't help but raise her eyebrow and look at him strangely. Although, who was she to question his methods? She laid her head down on his leg and closed her eyes. Compared to yesterday and moments earlier, she was almost welcoming her unconscious state. Even if Marik's dark side appeared in her dreams again, she was sure she could beat him with her own power. Somehow, she just had the confidence now.

She soon faded off to sleep with one hand over the other in her lap. A dream still went through her mind and her facial expressions signified a battle she was facing. However, she did not wake up. To some, her expressions might be worth worrying about, but those close to her knew that even if she struggled, it was usually short-lived. Her dream self was often more powerful than she was consciously so the struggles were often enjoyable. Every now and then, she did talk in her sleep. This information was courtesy of Renoko who had to resort to recording her in her sleep for Lerena to believe her.

Her dream was mainly about her starting to accept reality and her feelings for Marik. The struggles were mainly her fighting off any unrealistic thoughts that came to her in dream. With her subconscious, there were a lot of them and thanks to reality not binding her, the things could happen while she was asleep. This brief battle was extremely short-lived after Renoko came into the dream. When Renoko entered the picture, it brought balance and stability to her rest. Her expression softened to look more peaceful.

As Renoko was about to return to the karaoke room to start some casual conversation with Marik, she heard Cobra in the hallway with his boss. She stayed hidden in the women's bathroom, but cracked it open to hear a bit.

"It's about time for my shift to be over. Have you seen Justin Natsuki around anywhere? He seemed to disappear after last night. None of my clients have seen him."

"Ah, yes, Cobra. He was here last night. He's not taking the death of his father well, but I hear he's planning on moving in with his older brother Kiba." replied the bar owner as he cleaned the bar up.

"You mean, the same Kiba that is practically responsible for my niece's hatred for men?"

The bar owner nodded.

Renoko opened the door and joined the conversation. "So Justin is moving in with Kiba, is he? Do they get along well?" she asked.

"As far as I know." replied the bar owner. "Tired of singing, Renoko?"

"I hate men. I can't think of anything to sing at all. It's rude to sing with my sister sleeping." explained Renoko.

"Then it hardly seems logical for you to start a conversation with two men." pointed out Cobra, who ordered another drink.

"Getting drunk? I was under the impression you would've made a great father."

"Actually," said the bar owner, "He ordered apple juice. We do serve drinks like that here."

"She was joking I'm sure. Renoko, do you care to find out why I really hurt your sister so badly on that day?"

"I thought you were going to ask why there's a man in my party."

"Why should I ask? He's Lerena's type by the looks of it. Am I wrong? You know, you better be careful. Lerena's into the bad boys."

"You really are pathetic." retorted Renoko. "I was once told that I was pathetic for not using my real deck on him, but he wasn't worthy."

"You two are rebellious, but where's the fun in not being a little underhanded?" asked Cobra. "Won't you check on your sister? When a girl sleeps, it's the perfect time for a man to do anything."

"You'd know wouldn't you?" asked Renoko, who wasn't really concerned about Marik doing anything. She leaned against the back of the bar. "I'm not sure if you've noticed, but not every guy is like you. If Marik wants something, I'm sure he can get it without having to wait until Lerena sleeps. Hey, Joseph, sweet tea please. I want to have a talk with my uncle."

"My name's not Joseph!" said the bar owner irritably.

"It might as well be." said Renoko with a smirk. "Justin used to tell me how beautiful Lerena was when she was sleeping and yet he'd always try to steal a kiss from her. Stupid loser. He would've made a good boyfriend for her if he wasn't so arrogant and a member of the Natsuki Clan." she said sipping her tea.

[[Yup, it's a picture of the two of them together. I haven't touched it in a while- but I may have to redo it cause I don't like how the poses came out. I haven't forgotten it ^_^ ]]

"That's because when you were Pharaoh, I was the healer for you and the palace, but I do not know how well we know each other," she replied. "Just like you, they locked away my memories. I don't know why they did it to you, but they locked mine so they would not influence and mislead me in this life. I don't even know if you look like you from the past. They didn't know as well, and thought I would count too much on my eyes to find you, not my feelings," she explained. "Ones eyes can deceive them the most. I would know, I was born without sight. And when you are blind, you develop your senses. I was able to detect who people were without seeing them, without judging. When I was given the orb, I was healed and able to see," she explained further. "Memories to them was like sight, loosing it in this life allows me to be able to make those nonjudgmental decisions again," she finished. She did not tell him that it upset her she could not remember things. However, perhaps, he understood her position. After all, he could not remember anything either.

She smiled a bit, "Yes, the elders said you would have many enemies- that's why they sent me. They said many people would be after you and your item- for power. They also told me, people would try to trick me into giving over the puzzle to them. That's why I had to be so cautious in giving back the puzzle. I do apologize, but I had to do as I was told," she said. "But I assure you, I am not an enemy. I am to protect the puzzle and make sure it does not fall into the wrong hands," she added.

"The sisters are the only one's who allude me. I cannot read them like other people- I can't see their true personality," she said feeling puzzled that she couldn't see into them. Perhaps she had so much trouble because of those items they had. They weren't Millennium Items from the past, they were synthetic but very strong. "Yes, both are very close to each other. Renoko is Lerena's protector- she would never want her sister to be in danger or to be hurt. But anybody who cares for another is like that," she said then stopped. Was that why she was so dedicated to protecting him? Ammeterasu was very loyal, in her past life and this life. She did not want to disobey her orders- is that why she did this? There was something else that drove her to do this but she didn't know what.

"She will be fine," she said smiling, "she was just scared- not knowing why. I will have to introduce myself to her, to be fair perhaps. Though I would imagine it will be somewhat difficult," she said sweatdropping a bit. "It was hard finding her. I was able to communicate with the man who found the orb, he was a good man. He was willing to find this girl for me. She is my true host, my reincarnate. Things became rather difficult when she moved however," she said crossing her arms. She was able to sense Akiko and where she was. However, she had no idea who she was until they actually met. Amme looked sad.

"However, there are powers that did not want me to resurface again. They took a toll on the man, killed him slowly. I couldn't save him...." She looked very sad- she hated she couldn't help him. She didn't want to see people die, not like that. She searched Akiko's memories and said, "I was sending her messages. That's why she knew to turn on the news during lunch. That was the man that you saw. I had to get her attention somehow. When things were getting worse, and I felt the puzzle was in the wrong hands, I had to reach out to her. I guess that's another thing I must apologize for. I was the reason she fainted. And I took control of her in the hospital- leading her to him. She didn't just find the orb in her room, I made her come to me. She believes it was still a dream. It's not that I don't care for my host, because I am using her body, I will always protect her."

"Other then protecting, there is one other thing I am to do," she said, "their is a man who is supposed to unlock your memories. The elders predicted turmoil in the event. So if he fails, I also have you're memories." Ammeterasu knew he would want his memories now, but he had to wait. She was not supposed to give them to him- only if the man failed in this life to do it. She would know, because the orb would do it automatically. She looked sad one more time, she did not quite remember how to get her memories back. All she remembered the elders saying to her was that in time she would, but couldn't remember any details.

The trick to his method was to let her think it would work. There was no trick or magic to what he was doing- other then perhaps it was a little comfortable feeling for her. He stopped when she was aleep- not wanting to wake her. He watched her. Ok, so she was quite cute when she slept. He blushed a little, but narrowed his eyes knowing what he was doing. He saw her facial expressions that made him worry. Was she having a nightmare? That meant she didn't truly believe that he could help. Her expressions stopped however and changed into a peaceful look.

He sighed, whatever she was dreaming must have went away. He lifted his hand up but stopped for a second. After a few moments of debating, he lowered it and stroked her hair a little. He actually felt like he cared for her, and it was a strange feeling. It almost felt like, a purpose. Sure he had a purpose and a responsibility- but not by his choice. This was his choice. He did what he wanted to, what made him feel good. And caring for Lerena actually made him..... happy? He stroked her head again, feeling free to do so. She wouldn't know anyway.

He sighed a little, Renoko was taking a while. Not that he mind. But he guessed he wanted to let her see she was sleeping- that would make her happy. Even though he liked being alone, he wasn't thinking about doing anything shady to her. However, stroking her head like that was enough of a risky feeling for him. What if she woke up? What would he say? He could probably just make up some lie. He didn't want to admit that he had taken some type of liking to her.

((I won't post as Lerena as long as she's sleeping. Unless you care about what she's dreaming, I don't see a reason to xD

You can take all the time you need. =3

It's funny that Ammeterasu mentions the elders, because I always think of Charmed.

I can't tell the difference between darkred and brown when I use these colors in the same post. I would think I'm supposed to tell a difference....))

"I'm truly sorry that you couldn't save the man's life. He did suffer greatly. Power? I'm surprised that the Sisters weren't interested in keeping the Puzzle then. They seem to go on so many power trips. It seems that you had a good reason for what you did, but I agree that it'll be hard to introduce yourself to her. After all, Yuugi wasn't aware of me at first. The Sisters confuse me as well. I'm sure they have suffered, but that doesn't justify their actions." he explained. Atemu's eyes widened when she explained that she had his memories. "You have my memories?!" Atemu asked, entirely shocked. He calmed down for a bit when he realized that he probably couldn't have them now. Who was supposed to truly give him his memories?

"Turmoil? Why would there be turmoil? I'm not sure why I don't remember my memories myself. It's all hazy for me. I don't even remember my real name. I'm not even sure what I need to do to get my memories back." commented Atemu. "So I had a healer then? It's unfortunate that I don't remember you at all. Perhaps there will be something about you when I have my memories again." he suggested with a brief smile. "Although, there's still something that worries me. So far I've had the Sisters come after my puzzle, Bakura, and Pegasus. Do you know what other enemies I might encounter in this life?" asked Atemu seriously.

"It's because Lerena has inherited Cassie's beauty. The man who has your sister will be lucky." said Cobra.

"Indeed. Why do you work here of all places?" she asked.

"Before I was a gang leader, I used to be this man's teacher. I seeked him out to ask for his aid in giving me a job. In addition, I also couldn't resist when he said the famous Demonic Sisters came here." explained Cobra, taking a sip of his apple juice.

"If you truly do work here, what is your job?" asked Renoko, her eyes narrowed suspiciously.

"He cleans the karaoke rooms and sometimes he helps me serve drinks. Did you know that Cobra has some maternal instincts?" he asked with a smirk.

"Well, he can't clean the karaoke room while Lerena and I are there." Renoko retorted.

"What kind of man caught Lerena's eye this time?" asked Cobra looking into his apple juice.

"Why should I tell you?" remarked Renoko with a sly smirk.

"Don't I deserve to know?"

"Hell no. You severely hurt her!" answered Renoko.

"You know, I do apologize for that." replied Cobra. "I'm not sure why I went so far, but you know, Justin was watching the entire thing. I had to look convincing."

"Why did you even accept his offer?"

"I wanted to warn you two not to repeat my mistakes. I once manipulated women in my youth. I was a total playboy and I broke many hearts. Part of this is why I had my name changed to Cobra. What did I have to show for it when all was said and done? No one. After I met Cassie, I no longer had the desire to play with anyone's heart. However, she rejected my love for her because of my reputation. If you two think that you won't fall in love, well, both you and Lerena are wrong. If you expect to get anywhere with the one you fall in love with, you have to stop playing with the hearts of men." explained Cobra, finishing his apple juice. "When Cassie and Draku heard my reasoning for hurting Lerena so badly, they refused to think about what I told them: do you want your daughters to end up like me? Heartbroken, forsaken, and cursed? Cassie seemed to think that you two had a justified reason to pick on men and use your beauty as if both of you were goddesses. Whatever reason they had for not listening to me, they thought you two weren't on the path to misery." he added. "I thought you two would've figured out that misery would come to you by now, but both of you are extremely ignorant." finished Cobra.

"How do I know you're not making up this story?" retorted Renoko.

Cobra looked at her. "Because I'm not your father. You do know I loved her, right? Draku and I were rivals after I confessed my love to her. He was worried about me breaking her heart and he didn't believe me when I told him I had given up my ways so I could make her happy. Tell me, Renoko. Does Lerena love that man or is she playing with his heart to get what she wants?"

"You are foolish if you think you understand what Lerena has gone through!" she said with a growl. She started to walk away, but then Cobra mentioned something interesting.

"I know what you two are up to, Demonic Sisters. Your overconfidence can be your own downfall, especially yours. I know Lerena is capable of love, but you took it from her. Do you not know why Lerena had those nightmares? She actually fears that she'll be the one responsible for Marik's dark side coming forth."

"And for that, I am truly sorry, but I couldn't have her become a traitor to our Clan." she replied. "You do not know my sister, Cobra. My sister is not evil. How do you know about him anyway?!"

"I could tell you or I could retain my mysterious path. You two don't deserve to know." he said with a smirk.

"Have you been spying on us?!" she asked angrily.

"Keep in mind, Renoko. I have reasons for my actions. I believe it is my duty to discipline my nieces through violence when the point I'm trying to make would not be heard otherwise. After my warning, I gave both of you time to think about why I did it and for both of you to mature."

"You b*****d. Lerena and I have never hurt a family member."

"You're wrong. Dante was severely hurt emotionally. He may have been adopted, but realize something: men have emotions, Renoko. It's time that you realize that."

Renoko crossed her arms and then smirked. "I'm not convinced that you're not making up this story in order to weaken the Demonic Sisters. You're a manipulative b*****d, Cobra. You always have been. Lerena loves Marik, but he doesn't return her feelings as far as I know. It's quite unfortunate to say the least. Anyway, 'uncle', I have to go. If you don't mind, I want to talk with someone who doesn't make me want to kill people." she said with a snort.

She returned to the karaoke room and closed the door. Although she was slightly angry, she calmed down when she entered the room. Cobra wasn't in here to anger her which is what she loved. She sat down on the couch rather lazily, which was rare for her. She usually sat down gracefully to accentuate her beauty. However, she wasn't in the mood to even follow her own code of beauty at the moment. When she noticed that Lerena was still sleeping, she smiled. "I hope she's dreaming something good." she remarked. When she noticed Marik's hand on Lerena's hair, she smirked. He seemed to really like Lerena whether he wanted to admit it or not. She wasn't sure if he was falling in love with her or not; he was hard to read. Although her face now showed mischievous intentions, she didn't comment on it. There was no reason to say anything even though she knew what was going on.

She refused to let what Cobra said bother her. He didn't know Renoko or Lerena at all. Though he was a close friend to them for twelve years, he was now a traitor of the Helena Clan. There was no reason to forgive him. Even if Mother and Father forgave him, Renoko never would. Renoko herself had few relationships, but had once been cruising around for her Destined One. When Kaiba rejected her, her heart darkened and she began to hate the male gender. There was no man for her, but it was no surprise to her. She was independent enough not to need a man after all. As she thought about Marik, it was obvious that he was different from the other men that Lerena fancied in her past.

In fact, she had trouble drawing a conclusion about what his motives were. She couldn't draw a logical conclusion now, but Lerena often had the power to change a man's feelings anyway. Men said things they didn't really mean and Lerena was the same way. When Lerena rejected her feelings, it was usually because her object of interest didn't want her. Yesterday was the first time that Lerena had ever showed a desire to give up on finding the man she was destined to be with. But after she dealt with Carmela, she didn't seem interested in doing that anymore. She closed her eyes and sighed. She didn't know what to do now. The only thing she could come up with to do was tease Marik about what he was doing and she didn't feel like doing that. It was only fun teasing a girl about her love interest. Talking about Cobra would only anger her and she had just as bad anger management problems as Lerena did.

"So, want to do anything, Marik? I can't really sing anything else until Lerena wakes up." she remarked. She picked up a deck of cards which was left on the table in front of her. She began to shuffle the deck. It was hard to picture what Marik would enjoy doing. With her sister, playing a card game or Truth or Double Truth would usually solve the boredom. She had no idea what Marik would find entertaining.

"Was that discussion really necessary, Cobra? You already betrayed their trust and you practically have to put your life on the line to convince Renoko to forgive you. She's cold-hearted, Cobra. She may care for Lerena, but she will always have her own desires to fulfill." said the bar owner.

"It was necessary. I had to tell Renoko the truth. I had more to discuss with her so it's unfortunate that she didn't stick around for a more cheerful topic. It would've been nice to keep my youthful ignorance. More apple juice, please." requested Cobra.

"Yes..... he did," she said looking away for a moment. She did not like to see people die or be in pain. She knew that eventually everyone died but if it can be preventable, she wanted to at least try. She smirked a little bit, "Akiko does not believe in a lot of super natural things, I think this will be a lot harder then I first thought." She wanted to ask him how he introduced himself to his host, but actually felt a bit embarassed. She'd rather try and do it herself.

She recoiled a little from his suddeness. She had to resist giving them back and disobeying. It wasn't that she didn't want to, she shouldn't. It would disrupt fate, it could harm them. "They did not explain it to me very well. But you were supposed to meet someone who would unlock your memories. Me awakening is a sure fact that fate is already of course some how," she said. Her eyes widened a bit, "You do not remember your real name?" she repeated. Something was trying to tell her something, why did his name (or rather, lack of knowing) raise a red flag for her. She felt a tunneling feeling, almost like being dizzy. She shut her eyes for a moment. She remembered something, she remembered his name was the key. That feeling, that horrible dizzy feeling. She was so startled by it that she didn't even tell him what she remembered. She should have, but she was a little scared of what just happened.

She looked up at him when he mentioned there may be something about her when he remembers his past. "Maybe," she said unknowing what to say and coming out of her startledness. She smiled a little, "Yes, they found I had a gift even though I was not of royalty and because of my condition. The orb help stregnthen the ability and since no other preist or preistess could heal, they gave me that role," she said.

"The elders said that there would be many enemies. They could not tell of who, but some how there are very bad people out there who know about and crave the power you have. They will always come until your destiny is fullfiled," Amme said as she felt a tear run down her face. She wasn't crying, however one managed to slip out. Was she upset over what she said? Why was it so hard for her to say it to him. She wiped herface and looked at her hand confused.

When the door opened and Renoko came back, Marik quickly too his hand off of Lerena. However, he was pretty sure Renoko saw him. He looked away, pretending to be annoyed that she was sleeping on him. "She better, I really want my leg back," he said defensively. He was asked if he wanted to do something. He thought for a moment. "We can duel. I have my deck with me," he said. He always had his deck on him since he was always ready to take on the Pharoah. He put his hands gently under Lerena's head and lowered her head onto the couch while he moved his leg from underneath her. He was sure to be gentle and quiet. Once he was free to move, he reached for his backpack and sat down on the ground infront of the table. "Well?" he asked searching for his deck.

((Sorry for all the random crap in this post xD. I needed something to do so I was working on this post all night and this was the end result.))

"I don't. It it's unfortunate." answered Atemu, putting a hand on his puzzle and looking at the sky. He closed his eyes and sighed. "Akiko will have to begin believing. It is fact that supernatural things exist." He was worried about how Amme would convince Akiko that she truly existed as another part of her. Although, if she wasn't as willing to believe in the supernatural, there was no use in telling her how he introduced himself to Yuugi. It was so long ago and yet it was almost recent. Yuugi and him talked to one another so commonly now that it was hard to believe a time when they didn't communicate.

When he opened his eyes, he saw a tear run down her face. The tears did not persist so perhaps it was accidental. "Are you alright, Ammeterasu? If it helps, I'm used to people coming after me. This world is hard to get used to, but we might as well enjoy the times that we're able to."

"Do you think I'm stupid, Marik? Weren't you the one who offered to help my sister calm down so she could sleep? It's common sense not to offer your leg to anyone you don't want sleeping on you. On the other hand, my leg falls asleep when people sleep on it. I don't offer it to anyone unless I don't plan on moving for awhile." Renoko answered smoothly with a mischievous smirk on her face. She walked back over to the couch she was sitting on and crossed one leg over the other. She closed her eyes. Unfortunately, she didn't feel like dueling and she didn't even bring her deck with her today. Marik sure was hard to please. If he still wanted the Millennium Puzzle, it was Lerena who had ownership over it yesterday.

"I don't have my deck with me. I don't like dueling unless I get something out of it anyway. Simply winning is never good enough for me."

Lerena, or rather Darla, stirred slightly when Marik moved her. When Renoko walked into the room, Darla took her control and began speaking to Cobra through the Millennium Claws. It was a dangerous thing to do. If she was even once reckless enough to make the Claws appear, she could give herself away. Draku thought she could be stopped simply by being sealed into an item? Her existence was not destroyed; she still existed. There was no stopping her even if she was sealed into the Claws. Though Lerena was sleeping peacefully, Darla was very much alive and willing to cause misery for Yuugi once more. If the Pharaoh died, than what purpose would Marik continue desiring the Puzzle?

Unlike Renoko, she didn't care who she had to kill in order to keep her Mistress safe and protected. She was certain that dealing with Carmela would've awakened a small part of Marik's dark side. After all, when Lerena was almost murdered by her grandfather at 5-years old, she was created as a result of that fear and need for protection. Being exposed to intense sin could awaken a dark side in anyone and she was sure Marik's dark side would be awakened if Marik obtained the Puzzle. Marik only wanted the Puzzle to kill the Pharaoh, didn't he? He wouldn't want it anymore if the Pharaoh died. And so, Darla began to carry out her plan, a small smirk on her face that hopefully wouldn't be noticed.

"Uncle...this is Darla. Remember me? You must protect your niece. Obtain the Millennium Puzzle from a man named Yuugi Mutou. If you have it, than Marik will be less likely to get it for himself. He won't know if you take it. Listen to me. There is a dark side rumored to be worse than me locked away inside Marik. If Marik obtains the Puzzle than the world will fall into darkness. If you do not want me to be forced to take over in order to protect my Mistress than you will have to protect her for me! Take the Millennium Puzzle and take Yuugi's life as final payment for when he loses!" said Darla, letting out a loud cackle inside Cobra's head. "You're evil, aren't you? You don't care who you have to kill? Kill Yuugi, Uncle. Kill him just like you killed your own daughter!"

"Darla? You can speak telepathically? Listen! I don't kill anyone without a reason. I have no reason to kill the King of Games! Why are you taking control of Lerena? Shouldn't she be sleeping?"

"She is sleeping. Even though I have taken over, she will still feel rested when she takes control again. The same applies to me respectively. Do not tell Renoko or Marik that we have spoken. Kill Yuugi after school today Cobra. If you do not than you run the risk of the world becoming unsafe for both your nieces. If you truly wish to redeem yourself than kill the man responsible for the creation of Marik's dark side. Kill him so that Lerena's love for Marik does not become her downfall."

Cobra stood up from the bar. "Excuse me, my old friend. I must be off." said Cobra to his old pupil. His shadow became clearly visible outside the door. "Is Marik aware of his dark side?" asked Cobra to Darla.

"It is not wise to tell him, you pathetic fool! Step away from the door or Sister will notice you!" ordered Darla. She was obviously worried about being exposed.

Renoko glared at the door. "Excuse me for a moment, Marik." She walked to the door and opened it. "What do you want now, Cobra?"

"Renoko, has Darla awakened again?" asked Cobra seriously. Since Renoko was so loud, he didn't bother lowering his own voice so Marik couldn't hear. In fact, he had a feeling that Marik may have already met Darla.

"That is none of your concern." snapped Renoko as she crossed her arms and put her support on one leg. Her eyes narrowed on her uncle. Why was he bothering her again?

"Is it my concern if she's speaking to me telepathically?"

"That's impossible. There's medication for that you know." she answered him in a sarcastic tone.

"I do not have schizophrenia, Renoko. May I come in? This is very important."

Renoko thought for a moment and then sighed. "What is she telling you to do?" she asked. She lowered her voice and added, "This conversation is private so lower your voice."

"I prefer to discuss this matter over tea. I'm quite thirsty and additionally, I've been on my feet all day. I need so sit down. Show some respect for your elders, would you?" replied Cobra, lowering his own voice.

"Is it about *him*? If so, Lerena and I have already discussed this matter. We have decided not to bring it up."

"Yes, Renoko, it is. If you leave this matter unattended, than Lerena may follow my same path. Do you want that?"

She closed her eyes and recalled the day that Cobra fell in love with their aunt. She forced him to turn evil to have her, forced him to join a gang, and then as payment give up his good reputation to become a wanted man. It was because of their aunt that Cobra was so messed up now and it was because of their aunt that Cobra turned evil so he could have true love. Would Lerena truly go down Cobra's similar path? Was this the warning he was giving Lerena? Did he know that Lerena's nature would eventually make her fall in love with someone like Marik? That she would eventually have to make a choice between her family and the man she loved? "I believe in Lerena." answered Renoko.

"I can tell that you're giving some thought to this. I can tell you know the warning I was giving Lerena. The story I told you was for you more or less. I had a bigger warning for Lerena." he remarked. He looked at Marik and then back at his niece. "He really doesn't know, does he?" he asked softly where Marik couldn't hear. "About his dark side?"

She nodded. "He's completely clueless. Sister found out about it just yesterday. It gave her nightmares as you know."

"Darla is awake. Trust me on that, Renoko. She knows what we're discussing."

Darla stirred again. Lerena often had trouble sleeping and the sunlight coming in was enough to stop her from sleeping. This was the perfect excuse since the sun was shining directly on her face. "I can't sleep with the sunlight coming in..." she complained as she got off the couch. To those who didn't know Darla, they might believe that this was Lerena. In truth, it was Darla pretending to be Lerena. She looked at Cobra and walked over to him. "Cobra? What are you doing here?" she asked.

"Darla..." he remarked with his eyes narrowed on her.

"Renoko, sit down please. I'll take it from here." she said with a tired smile. The tiredness in her smile was fake. Darla was not tired at all and could handle herself well.

"Renoko, don't listen to her." requested Cobra with a sigh.

"Oh, sorry. I should've closed the blinds for you, Sister. I'll fix this problem when you're done with Cobra." Renoko assured her and sat down. She was paying an abnormal amount of attention to her sister, almost to see if this truly was Darla.

"Darla." Cobra replied darkly.

"Can we speak outside please?" requested Darla, with a lazy movement of her hand.

"No, I will not. I do not trust you inside my niece's body. We will speak inside the karaoke room."

"I don't trust you at all if it helps, Uncle." answered Darla sarcastically. "You lost my trust a long time ago."

"Fine. We'll speak in one of the rooms in the back." said Cobra with a sigh.

It was only a brief change in her sister's mannerisms, but Darla was clearly visible when she said 'uncle'. Lerena only called Cobra by his changed name. She didn't say anything though. If Darla truly dealt with Cobra than their family could get a lot richer.

Cobra lead Renoko to one of the back rooms. When Darla closed the door, the Millennium Claws appeared immediately.

"Listen up, Cobra. I wanted you to be redeemed and accepted into the family again. Yuugi stands in the way of Lerena's eternal happiness." she remarked angrily. "There is no 'logical' way of dealing with Marik's dark side just like there's no 'logical' way of dealing with me. Understand? Deal with Yuugi immediately or suffer the wrath of my Millennium Claws!" she ordered. "You made me get up, you insignificant b*****d! Renoko surely knows I'm present and perhaps Marik senses me too. You are a fool! If you don't deal with Yuugi, I'll kill you!"

"Fine. My shift is over. I'll deal with Yuugi after school." he answered her. "Any friends I should be aware of?"

"Akiko, Jounouchi, and the Pharaoh. You'll recognize the Millennium Puzzle around his neck; the Pharaoh is sealed inside it. His dueling skills become better when the Pharaoh takes over. You're good at dueling, aren't you?"

"I can duel, but what makes you think I can defeat Yuugi?" he asked.

"You're a b*****d, aren't you? Put something on the line. I have an idea. Marik Ishtar told me enough yesterday for me to put the puzzle together. He's from a family of tompkeepers who believe that the Pharaoh will return. Well, he has, Cobra. I'm sure that Marik is the keeper of something that the Pharaoh will need. Why else would they look forward to the Pharaoh's return so much? My memories are the most important thing to me. Since the Pharaoh can't remember anything about his past and not even his name, I'm willing to bet that Marik has the key to recovering his memories. Offer up the name of the man who may have his memories if you lose. I put the pieces of the puzzle together when I hear of them, Cobra. I'm more intelligent than Lerena is willing to accept for herself. If she was more confident in herself, she'd be just as intelligent as I am."

"Oh? Does this Pharaoh have the ability to put an end to Marik's dark side? If he does, why don't you ask for him to help Marik?"

"He does, yes, but Lerena wishes desperately to be the one to save him."

"I'd rather put the Pharaoh's life in danger to protect Lerena's heart than kill him myself, Darla. Have you no desire to use a person for your own benefit?" asked Cobra. For the first time, he was showing signs of his evil behavior from the past. An evil smirk was on his face.

"You're...you're right. But listen to me...I don't want Marik to change just because the Pharaoh ends up helping him. I want him to stay the man that Lerena fell in love with."

"Do you love him too then, Darla?" asked Cobra.

"He can be a luxury. Shut up and listen to me, Cobra. I do the bidding of my Mistress."

Cobra put a hand on Darla's shoulder and looked into her eyes. "Darla. What do you believe is best for Lerena? Would you want to face Marik's dark side?"

"I wouldn't, but I don't have any reason to fear him, dumbass." retorted Darla.

"Here's what I suggest. I'll go to the Pharaoh and tell him what you just told me. I'll tell the Pharaoh that Marik may have the key to his memories, but that this man harbors a strong evil within him. In addition, the Pharaoh will have to put his life on the line to defeat Marik's dark side if he even hopes to get his memories back. Do you like the idea of a suicide duel between the Pharaoh and Marik's side? The Pharaoh could die or Marik's dark side could. The body hosts themselves do not suffer. I'm sure the power of the Millennium Puzzle can seal away Marik's dark side, right? Isn't that what you're concerned about?"

"Fine. Tell the Pharaoh this information, but don't tell him that you could possibly be inviting him to his death bed. I'll find a way to alert Marik of this upcoming challenge. It's your duty to pass on this information to the Pharaoh. Go to the principal's office and alert the dumb lady at the front that you are checking out Yuugi Mutou. Tell the lady that you are a relative of the Demonic Sisters and she won't bother questioning whether he's going home with you. When Yuugi meets you at the office, he may have a friend with him. I'm not sure which friend he'll be with, but he seems to consider Akiko a friend of his. Akiko or Jounouchi must be allowed to come with him. Don't be suspicious, alright? Also, your name is Joseph. If they know you're Cobra, it will raise suspicion that you plan on killing Yuugi. You are not supposed to murder him anymore. The lady is to retrieve Yuugi herself with the information that Joseph at the front desk has something very important to tell him in regards to a secret. Don't tell her why you're checking him out. Yuugi won't mind ditching school if it's to recover the Pharaoh's memories. If you return here without Yuugi, I will kill you, Cobra." she said with a smirk.

"Of course, Darla. I'll leave now." answered Cobra. He walked back out to the bar and told his friend that he was leaving. He left the building and headed to Domino High School. When he made it to the front office, he took matters into his own hands. The woman at the desk looked up at him.

"Hello?" she asked. "State your business." she said.

"The name's Joseph and I'm a friend of the Helena Clan. It's very important that I speak with Yuugi Mutou. The matter is classified, but I'm checking him out. Go speak with Yuugi and tell him that I know a very important secret that he's been seeking out for awhile. Tell him that the Demonic Sisters wish to apologize for yesterday so they contacted me. Because of a condition that Lerena has, Renoko and Lerena are unable to attend school for today."

"I'm very busy." she remarked. She called the P.E. teacher, who answered with directions for Cobra to follow. "Talk with Yuugi about whatever business you may have. If he finds that it's important to leave, than he may do so. Otherwise, I will not excuse Yuugi from class. Good day, Joseph." she said professionally.

Cobra nodded and followed the directions to where Atemu and Amme were. He searched for a man with an abnormal accessory and found Atemu speaking with Amme. He approached them, but was rather nervous. He felt like some kind of pervert walking into a school to speak with someone who didn't even know who the hell he was. His nervousness was obvious. "Are you Yuugi Mutou?" he asked, finally finding his voice.

"Excuse me for a moment." said Atemu. He turned to look at Cobra. "Yes, I am. What is your business with me?"

"My name is Joseph. Yuugi, I was sent here on very important business. Whether you choose to believe me when I say this is up to you, but it's the only lead you have so you might as well believe me. Um, is your friend going to listen in on this? She might think I'm a bit crazy..."

"She won't unless you plan on killing me." answered Atemu. "What could you possibly say to appear crazy?"

"You know the Pharaoh inside your Millennium Puzzle? I was sent here to give you a possible lead on who may have his memories."

"Who sent you?" asked Atemu suspiciously. "Since you know about the spirit inside this Puzzle, I believe there's no harm in admitting that I am that spirit."

"You are? Please...please listen to me. I see no harm in telling you who sent me, but my life is in danger. Do you know of a classmate named Lerena?"

"What?! She sent you here?! I can assure you Joseph that she probably has no good intentions. I may very well walk into a trap if I listen to you."

"Do you believe in split personalities, Pharaoh?" he asked.

"What?! Are you trying to tell me that Lerena has one?"

"Yes. Her name is Darla and she's very powerful. She tried to tempt me into killing you, but I managed to convince her otherwise. There is a man by the name of Marik Ishtar who wants your Millennium Puzzle. Unfortunately for you, he's also the man responsible for giving you your memories. At least, that's what Darla believes. Don't shoot the messenger, please. I'm just an old man who wants peace for his nieces."

"Interesting. Renoko mentioned nothing about a second uncle yesterday when she mentioned her past to me in class."

"Renoko prefers talking about the dark side, if you haven't noticed. She's also very arrogant and selfish. Anyhow, even if you don't wish to save Lerena from her dark side, it should be worth your while to save Marik from his. Darla doesn't want Marik's dark side to awaken. Marik's dark side definitely will awaken if he's able to take your Millennium Puzzle. If you wish to find Marik, he's at the karaoke bar with the Demonic Sisters. I want you to save Marik in the very least. He's very important to Lerena."

"What you're saying seems to be the truth. I don't see hints of a lie in your eyes. However, if Marik's dark side has not awakened, how am I supposed to save him from it? Wouldn't it be much easier for me to put an end to Darla?"

"Well, if you end Darla's life, than you may be able to put an end to Renoko's hatred of men. I'm not sure if Marik would let you duel Darla though. He might come straight after you and force Darla to stay out of it. In your duel against Marik, I believe Marik's dark side may surface if you begin to lose the duel with him in the lead. Do what you must, but I believe that beating Marik is the only way to find out if he truly holds your memories. I will say that he seems to hate you a lot from what I hear. If he doesn't hold your memories, than you'll have Darla to blame for sending you on the wrong path. I'm sorry for coming here, but I wouldn't have done it if I didn't have a reason."

"You're the only lead I have. In the very least, I do wish to stop the Demonic Sisters from carrying out their ruthless plans. The karaoke bar was it? Take me there then. I'll put an end to both Marik's and Lerena's dark sides."

"May the gods bless you, Pharaoh." said Cobra with a soft smile. He didn't worship the Egyptian Gods, but surely the Pharaoh believed in their power. "I don't think Lerena brought her deck with her to the karaoke bar, but she can use my deck."

"Alright. Although I do want my memories, I care more about stopping the Demonic Sisters from carrying out their evil deeds at the moment. I'm very surprised that Lerena cares for a man though. I thought the Demonic Sisters were sexist." he confessed.

"You were half-right. Renoko is sexist. Lerena on the other hand just wants acceptance and will turn evil to get it. I hope you understand that I don't know how Marik duels. He may be better than you at dueling, he might not be. I don't know. Just understand that I am not responsible for your life in this duel. If you want your memories, fight Marik and convince him to give them up to you. Otherwise, you may very well be searching for your memories well into Yuugi's adulthood."

"You bring up excellent points. I'm willing to trust you, but I will not let down my guard." answered Atemu. He turned to face Amme. "Ammeterasu, I'm going for awhile. You may come with us, but I don't know whether you want to damage your attendance record." he told her.

"Yours won't be damaged, because I already checked Yuugi out." confessed Cobra. He turned to Ammeterasu for the first time, but he always knew she was there. "I apologize for not including you in the conversation, but I'm only here to follow orders. If you're Yuugi's friend, you should want his companion to have his memories back." He explained to Ammeterasu. It was obvious that he couldn't see her white eyes nor that she was involved in trying to get the Pharaoh's memories back. "If you come with us, you'll be included in the conversation. You probably have a lot of questions to ask me."

Darla slammed her hands on the table in front of her. Cobra was not doing as she asked! He acted like he truly wanted the Pharaoh's help. There was no signs in his motives that spelled a desire for him to fail. Lerena was meant to save Marik from his dark side! She was going to do it! No one else! For now, she wasn't worried about Lerena being in danger: she wanted Lerena's jealousy to cease. Darla, who was born from so much fear and so much need for protection, only wanted her Mistress to be happy. If the Pharaoh took her glory in saving Marik, she'd be pissed.

Her power to communicate with someone telepathically was not based on distance, but the bond that Lerena shared with a person. If a person had a major influence on Lerena's life, than it would be easy for her to speak with them telepathically. Though she was mad at Cobra, she knew that Lerena still loved her uncle and was grateful that he hurt her so badly. Darla knew that it was thanks to Cobra that Lerena was able to meet Marik. Therefore, she would have to love Cobra for that alone. "I'm counting on you, Cobra. You better root for me to win against the Pharaoh." she said with a cruel laugh.

Renoko ordered more tea and then she abruptly asked Marik something. "Remember that split personality I mentioned earlier" she asked. "Darla has taken possession of my sister. This doesn't affect Lerena's ability to rest. In fact, Darla could've taken over to make sure Lerena didn't wake up and got a good day's rest. The sunlight would've woken her up eventually. Lerena is sensitive to things like that. There is a worse side to this though. Since Lerena actually fell asleep, she will remain asleep until Darla gives her control again. Thanks to Darla, Lerena's body can go for forty-eight hours without rest. It is not recommended for this to happen though, because Darla being in control can often mean bad things. Not even Mom knows what Darla's true intentions are. We're sure she's evil to some extent, but we're not sure how far she's willing to go."

She took her cup of tea and sipped it slightly. She set it down on the table in front of her. Should she bring up the topic of Marik's dark side? Worry was clear in her eyes. What if telling Marik about his dark side was the best thing to do? She doubted it would help her sister's situation if Marik doubted he even possessed such a side of himself. Renoko bit down on one of her thumbnails. She wanted her sister to be happy and a side of her did want to accept Cobra again as long as he promised not to hurt Lerena like he did before. What was she supposed to do? For once, Renoko was confused. Her vision was clouded. It was possible for Lerena to go down Cobra's same path thanks to Darla. "Life is so complicated. It all became ******** up when Lerena and I took the Millennium Puzzle. It's my damn fault we took the thing. I wonder what possessed me to even take it."

Even though she was thinking to herself, she somewhat expected Marik to reply. Why did she want him to reply anyway? She didn't want him involved in the affairs of the Demonic Sisters even if Lerena did love him. "Damn son of a b***h...Yuugi brings nothing but trouble. If I see him again, I won't be held responsible for what I do to him." she told herself darkly. Renoko always loved to blame things on men even if it was all her fault to begin with. However, all the s**t, all the complications, all the interruptions...it was all because of Yuugi. It was all because the Demonic Sisters laid a hand on his Puzzle. Until the Pharaoh was dead, she could not rest in peace. Renoko stood up and walked over to the window. "I have to kill him...I have to kill Yuugi so things become less complicated." Renoko decided. She pressed the points of her two first fingers to her forehead. "I'm giving myself a headache." she confessed.

[[haha, it's ok. It's interesting]]

Ammeterasu stayed quiet when he asked her what was wrong. She wasn't quite sure what got over her. She smiled a bit, "I am not as pessimistic as I come off as being. When you are hindered like I was, you learn not to take things for granted. I enjoyed the life I had, and I'll enjoy this one for however long I am here for. Yet I am not naive, I know there are ups and down. And I know that people are generally good. Some think that there are some people who are naturally evil, I don't believe this. Everyone is born with a clean slate."

Marik just crossed his arms immaturely and looked away when Renoko spoke. "What ever," he said not wanting to explain himself. He didn't have to. He smirked when she said that she dueled to get something. "I can equate to that. And I respect that," he said ending his search for his own deck.

Suddenly, he felt this strange chill run up the side of his neck. He took a quick glance at Lerena, feeling it coming from her direction. Nothing, nobody was there and it was not from Lerena- she was sleeping. He rubbed his neck a bit and looked over in the same direction suspiciously. He was sensing a little bit of Darla, though it was so minimal he didn't realize what it was.

Again, that man who's name is Cobra entered the door. Marik glared at the man, now feeling suspicious of him. He came back to their room, was he up to something? At this point, he was at a well enough distance to hear Renoko and Cobra. His eyes widened when Cobra said she was speaking telepathically. How was she able to do that? Marik did not know about Lerena's or Renoko's new Millennium items, nor of Darla, not yet.

The two of them then lowered their voices, where they keeping something from him? He narrowed his eyes at them, trying to focus in on what they were saying. But to no avail, he couldn't hear them. Lerena soon awoken, perhaps they kept their voices down so she wouldn't wake up? She did anyway. Marik's head shot over to Cobra when he called her Darla. "Darla?" He repeated with a raised eyebrow. Marik stood up and observed the situation. No, this wasn't Lerena. This is the same feeling he got when he watched her duel Yuugi. Is this someone else? That Darla person Cobra mentioned?

When they left the room, Marik walked over to Renoko. "Who's Darla?" he asked again but not so vaguely. "If that is another person other than Lerena, it was the same person who dueled Yuugi. I could tell, she's not the same," he said. He was able to detect her presence because of his knowledge of the Millennium Items and other spirits, and perhaps a bit of sixth sense as well.

Amme turned her head when she saw the older man. She did not know who he was. She narrowed her eyes at him to enforce that Yuugi was serious about if the man had plans to kill or hurt him. She wasn't very intimidating herself, but she was very serious when it came to things like this. She narrowed her eyes even more for a second when she heard him say that there was a lead in retaining his memories.

She listened to the man's story, paying attention to what he says. She also started to read his personality. The man was complex, his color was a misty rust red with hints of sparked gold. This color circled around her orb to represent his soul. She knew this man was very manipulative, however, he was true yet very hurt. He doesn't take hurt well, he can not cope. And there was something dark looming in his mind. He reminded her of a ying yang, he did have a good heart but his darkness was as dark as can be. He was also a bit twisted, yet he was looking for amends. What worried her the most was the fact that he was indeed manipulative.

"I'm sure losing a battle would not bring someones dark side, if anything, if he began to lose then his dark side would have to emerge to save himself," she replied to Cobra letting him know that he should not try any tricks. She glared more when they both spoke of ending Darla's and Marik's dark side's lives. She did not know that Marik's dark side was not a person, yet a manifestation. She thought both were actually people, like Atemu's life. Though she didn't voice her opinion, she did not believe that they could resolve anything by killing them. She glanced at Cobra when he said he was not responsible for Yuugi's life, "You don't need to worry about him," she hissed a bit, knowing he wouldn't fail.

"Akiko will just have to deal with an absence, I'm going whether or not I'm wanted," she remarked finding this whole situation strange. She began to walk with Cobra and Yuugi. "I do have a question for you, Joseph," she said with emphasis on his name, "do you believe that it's ok to kill someone who is held dear to someone else? Do you believe it's right to take someone's love away? Let alone to be the judge of someone's life?" she asked not looking at him, but rather looking straigh ahead of her. "I'll have more questions for this Marik person. Other then that, do you want to know what your color is?" she asked. She believed Yuugi could win against this man, whoever he was, however, she felt suspicious.

Marik listened to Renoko's explaination. "And how was Darla born? Is it truly a split personality? You make it sound it's a whole other soul within her," he said not liking Darla at all. He raised an eyebrow, unsure what Renoko was thinking about, "You'll give yourself a head ache over what?"

[[haha, I can't wait to have Amme and Marik talk together XD she's going to really surprise him with something X3 ]]

((Hmmm...it would be interesting if Darla turned out to be another soul rather than a split personality. I was actually exploring this idea, but I wasn't sure how you'd take it. Plus, I came up with a way for Darla to be created. If you're okay with her being another soul, we can find out that she is later. Otherwise, we'll keep with Renoko's answer.

Have Atemu, Ammeterasu, and Cobra arrive at the bar in your next post. I look forward to Ammeterasu's conversation with Marik. XD))

Cobra was in fact the murderer of many people close to another. He had killed many people and many different kinds as well. However, he knew that Ammeterasu was taking this the wrong way. "Ammeterasu, I apologize for not making myself clear. Darla is not a human being and is actually another part of Lerena's personality; an abnormal part created out of fear and a need for protection. It is impossible for Darla to be as bad as Marik's dark side, because his split personality was created out of hate and a craving for vengeance. Both Marik and Lerena have split personality disorder, but I do not believe that Marik has been diagnosed. His culture probably has different standards." explained Cobra calmly.

"Right now, it is Marik's dark side whose emergence could threaten the safety of this world. All Darla wants is to protect Lerena, but she is still capable of murder and thus must be stopped. We will not be killing anyone, Ammeterasu. These personalities were created by abnormal means. Your statement earlier made sense. The Pharaoh will likely make Marik feel threatened somehow and when he begins to lose, his dark side will emerge to protect himself." Cobra finished in answer to her question. This girl did indeed have a point, but what they didn't know was that Marik had killed Carmela just the day before. They didn't know that Marik's dark side had the perfect chance to come alive during that murder. Marik's dark side was probably still stirring in him as alive as he had been in ages, though he may not be conscious of its presence.

"I have no doubt that the Pharaoh will beat Marik, but I must also acknowledge the possibility of him losing as well. I want the Pharaoh to win and I have faith in him. However, Renoko's faith in the Pharaoh losing might be stronger. Darla will likely be alerting Marik that the Pharaoh is coming to the karaoke bar. Pharaoh, you must win against Marik's dark side. It's important. The presence of Darla will probably make it easier for his dark side to emerge. She'll do anything for her plans to work and she will make sure his dark side comes out so the Pharaoh can defeat him. However, I don't know her true motives. She's manipulative and can even manipulate me." said Cobra with a brief pause.

"Marik's dark side was most likely sealed up, but I believe that his other personality stirs within him. Marik's hatred for the Pharaoh is strong and due to this Darla will manipulate the situation to her will. I'm not sure if Darla has any hidden motives for asking me to bring the Pharaoh here. She changes her plans a lot so they won't fail. My color? You seem to have quite the gift there. Feel free to tell me what it is so that I may be aware of how you see me."

"If what you say is true, then how is Darla not as evil as Marik's dark side? Is she not capable of causing as much destruction?"

"Not alone and not as quickly. Marik owns the Millennium Rod and is therefore a much bigger threat."

"I see." answered Atemu. He was still skeptical that this man wasn't leaving out part of the truth. There was no evidence of a lie, but there was also evidence of him not telling them everything.

Cobra looked at Atemu and noticed a suspicious look in his eyes. It was similar to the look that the Demonic Sisters gave him, only it held no hate. Neither Ammeterasu nor Atemu had any reason to trust Cobra. He was a feared and wanted man throughout the United States. His crime in Japan was far more organized and no one had tracked down him as the sole mastermind. Back in America, he was involved directly in the murders, but in America, he merely manipulated others into murdering for him. He had killed some people, yes, but no one knew these people were dead since they were wanted men. Everyone thought they had just fleed the country under illegal aliases.

Above that, he killed his own daughter and harmed Lerena a great deal. Even the remaining Natsuki Clan agreed that he should be behind bars and they supported murder. They were the reason that Cobra was wanted now. If there was no other reason he should not be trusted, it was because he gave them a false name. Well, it wasn't really all that false. His birth name was Joseph which was the reason that Darla wanted him to use it. Now that he was wanted, it was impossible to change his name. "I know those eyes and I know why you suspect me; sometimes even the messenger can hold ill intentions. Just know this: Darla would be angry at some of the things I've said."

"I see. How come?"

Darla was sitting with one leg crossed over the other and drinking tea. When Cobra brought up her anger, she smirked. She could hear Atemu's every reply to him. "Oh, dear. You best not tell him. Be vague, Uncle. Do be vague. I've changed my plans. I hope Atemu dies in this battle. Lerena's jealousy is overpowering me, Uncle. In time, I will have to confront Renoko. What you must be aware of however is this: how vague I want you to be. Tell them I'm a perfectionist and everything must go my way. They'll fill in the pieces. They'll consider me a mere child. Oh, but in human years, I would be, wouldn't I, Cobra?" she explained as she sipped her tea. As soon as her message was sent, she made her way down the hall back to the karaoke room to alert Marik of the duel awaiting to happen.

Atemu didn't know why he didn't answer immediately. He saw the expression on his face harden as he put a hand to his forehead, almost as if to lessen the intensity of a headache. "Are you alright?" he asked.

He removed the hand from his forehead and nodded. "Yes, I am. It's just...I have schizophrenia." he answered him. What was he supposed to say? Even as the spirit of the Millennium Puzzle, Atemu would probably find it hard to believe that Darla had the power of telepathy. "Darla is a perfectionist and everything must go her way. In a way, she's a child, but she's more intelligent than most children are. She was born when Lerena was five. It was an unfortunate creation." answered Cobra. He and Atemu then paused to give Ammeterasu time to answer.

"Yes. I was unable to stop Darla from wanting to duel against Yuugi. Darla was born when Lerena was five years old. Our grandfather was having one of his split personality rampages. Since he suffered from a bad memory by this time, he had forgotten to take his medication. Our father was responsible for making sure he took it, but he was called in for a special case and was late. Grandmother was out of town so Mother was there. She was fixing Grandfather's coffee so he could take his medication. Lerena was supposed to stay with her, but she didn't know any better at the time. I tempted her to go see what grandfather was doing so unfortunately, I'm indirectly responsible for Darla being born in the first place. Grandfather tried to choke Lerena to death, but when he saw Darla's eyes, he realized what he was doing and backed off. The damage was already done." explained Renoko as she remembered her sin. "Darla can't be another soul. Lerena just suffers from an extremely bad case of split personality disorder. The doctors believe she suffers from it so badly that she has a new level of it. Lerena's too young to take the higher dosage of medication for it, but apparently her body is becoming immune to its effects. It's no longer holding Darla back." Renoko finished.

"You speak about me as if I'm a demon." remarked Darla as she closed the door behind her. "I took care of Cobra. He's doing my bidding now." she said with a cruel snicker. She sat down and sipped the rest of her tea. "It's amazing how weak a person can become just by aging. He's no longer as intelligent as he once was and he's no longer as strong. I wouldn't be surprised if he decides to defy my will."

"Darla, give Lerena control again!" she ordered.

"Huh? But she's resting. Must we really disturb her? I'm not doing anything bad, Renoko. I'm actually helping people." she said with a mischievous smirk.

"Your version of help is like playing the lottery: you could win but you'll probably lose." retorted Renoko.

She smirked wider. "Well, Cobra succeeded in doing what I want." replied Darla. "When Yuugi gets here, I'm going to kill him. He won't get what he wants."

"What?! You should never be allowed to kill anyone! What kind of person are you anyway?!"

"I'm not here to devote my life to being a nun. It's easy for people to hate me. Though, love comes in many different forms. I consider hate to be one of them. Hatred can be just as beautiful and even produce better things. If Yuugi wants his life, he'll have to duel me for it. He really shouldn't have let the spirit of that Puzzle become his concern, especially since that spirit does not remember his past. Apparently. pretending to know how to get the Pharaoh's precious memories back was enough to get him to come here. After all, what person wants amnesia?" she remarked. "However, I don't know s**t about how to get his memories back. In fact, I don't give a damn." added Darla.

"You told Cobra to tell Yuugi that you know how to get the Pharaoh's memories back so he would come here? But why?" asked Renoko.

"It worked, didn't it? Memories should be the most important thing to a person. After all, eventually, everyone who is important to us will die. The first to go will be our grandparents and then later our own parents." she said to Renoko. "And sometimes, you even last long enough to see the life of your lover diminish in thin air. It's no surprise that the Pharaoh actually wants his memories back. It's such a disadvantage to not even remember your own name."

"You manipulated the situation just so you could take a person's life?" she said, shocked.

"What good is power if you don't use it?" reminded Darla. "Besides, there's a reason our victims don't last long. They're supposed to die when we're done with them. Can't the same happen when they lose duels against us?"

"Okay, when you put it that way, how are you not a demon?"

"You'd do the same thing if you could feel the jealousy, the hatred that Lerena has in her heart. It's dangerous work owning the Millennium Puzzle. No one ever leaves you alone. I'm sure that Yuugi planned on dueling me today after school. I made him cut class for the one simple purpose of finding out something he may wish to know later. But, only if he wins my sick game can he even dream of me leaving him alone."

"Jealousy? What reason would Lerena have to be jealous of the Pharaoh?"

"What reason?! He ruled over an entire kingdom once in his life! Isn't that enough of a reason?"

"There's more to that I'm sure."

"It's more hatred than jealousy really. I mean, after all, Lerena has no reason to be jealous of him anymore. She's extremely hateful of the Pharaoh at the moment. Not to mention taking the life of Jounouchi's best friend would satisfy me and make us even for what he said to us earlier. He made Lerena think, almost reconsider what she did. There should be no remorse in hurting the lives of those who are weaker than us and who deserve it. He has no power, no status. If we're pathetic, so is he. We dueled him with our own decks, just not our main ones. He deserves to suffer. If he does try to get back at me, I'll kill him too."

"You want to kill for amusement?!" Renoko asked, almost about to snap.

"Oh, of course. It's more vengeance than amusement though. Although, taking revenge is extremely fun."

"You care about nothing but yourself!" said Renoko. "Do you think Lerena believes in murder?"

Darla snorted. "No, she doesn't," answered Darla. "But I do. This doesn't mean she never wants anyone dead; she just nevers acts on it." she remarked.

"Don't you think there's a reason she never acts on it?" asked Renoko.

"Honestly, Renoko. If you didn't duel alongside me yesterday and aid me in obtaining the Puzzle, I would think you actually cared about Yuugi."

"I hate his ******** guts!" snapped Renoko. "But murder?! Lerena refuses to kill because she's afraid of you coming to life. She's afraid of mass murderers!"

"Lerena isn't afraid of mass murderers. She stood up to Cobra quite well. If she feared mass murderers, she would've been afraid to talk to him the way she did."

"Fine, you have a point." said Renoko, obviously pissed off that she was agreeing with Darla.

"Don't you understand, Renoko? What it truly means to hate is to be willing to murder that person no matter who they're important to, no matter who may need their presence to continue on in life. You understand hatred well, I know. You almost went that far long long ago."

"That was different! I was young." answered Renoko. "I was controlled by my desire to see them die. Now I can control myself and I know murder isn't the answer."

"You're wrong. Lerena cannot truly rest until the Pharaoh is dead."

"ARE YOU CRAZY?!" she asked with her eyes widened and slamming her hands on the nearest table to emphasize her anger and shock.

"The Pharaoh inside that Puzzle is secretly very violent. Back then, all Pharaohs were. Haven't you read the history books? Honestly, there is no way to get rid of me unless you do the obvious thing: kill Lerena. I'm sure no one in this room wants to do that. There is only a way to overpower me." she remarked, slightly hinting at the power of the Millennium Rod which could release her hold on Lerena. It was a shame that Marik was unaware of this. Although, she was certain that Marik had his deck since it was probably of utmost importance to him to defeat the Pharaoh and take the Millennium Puzzle to be his. Darla truly was doing Marik a favor by making the Pharaoh come.

Unfortunately, Marik probably hated her for possibly sending the Pharaoh on the correct path. That was such a shame, but to make it even, Lerena hated Marik's dark side and even feared him. Though Darla didn't possess such hatred, she didn't want to meet anyone worse than her and whom she could not manipulate to her will. With Marik, she had no intention of manipulating him. It was such a bother that Lerena loved him, because she held the same feelings for Marik herself. Even though she wished to say something to Marik, she didn't have time to explain that she actually had the intention of helping him with his goals.

In search for something else to torture Renoko with, she searched Renoko's current thoughts and a mischievous smirk began to show on her features. "So you too want Yuugi dead? Why defend him then?"

"D-d-damnit..." muttered Renoko. "Well, I just don't believe that you should kill him. That's uhh...my job! Yea, it's now my job! SO SHUT UP AND LET ME DO IT!" she ordered irritably.

"Oh? Really? Did you bring your deck?" she asked, knowing very well that she didn't.

"s**t. No, I didn't." she answered.

She closed her eyes and smirked. "Lerena may wish the Pharaoh to be dead, because he's why Marik's dark side exists. However, I want the Pharaoh dead because Lerena and Marik do." she thought to herself. "I'm afraid you can't kill him then. I'm not letting you use my deck." said Darla, pulling out Lerena's deck from inside her schoolbag. "Looks like you'll have to sit this one out, Sister."

"I can't believe that a side of Lerena can be this evil, this manipulative, and this cruel..." said Renoko.

Darla looked at Marik for a moment, then returned her attention to Renoko. It was just so juicy that Marik could possibly have a side of him that was worse that her. He helped Lerena and made it impossible for her to give Lerena another message of what she had to do. The appearance of Renoko signified peace, happiness, and stability in Lerena's dreams. When she was around, she couldn't send Lerena any violent messages. The first message was supposed to tell Lerena to get rid of Marik's dark side and the other message was that she was supposed to kill the Pharaoh. Both of those messages were misinterpreted as a nightmare. Why would a man who was developing feelings for Lerena harbor anyone worse than her in his heart?

"I'm sorry, Sister. I didn't ask to be born; I just was. Accept me or don't, the Pharaoh will die." Darla began before standing up and walking to the door. "Of course, Marik is welcome to duel Yuugi first if he wishes. After all, Lerena was careless enough to lose the Millennium Puzzle yesterday. I'm sure Yuugi has ownership of the Puzzle again because Ammeterasu probably passed it down to him. Thanks to Isis, I know that he desires the Puzzle at all. Anyway, I must be off. Cobra, Yuugi, and Ammeterasu get here in about five minutes. It's a shame Jounouchi isn't coming so I can kill him too." she said evilly. With a formal bow, Darla left the room.

She made her way to the main room where the bar was located. She confronted the bar owner who was cleaning the bar off. "Greetings. I spoke with Uncle about something important so I'll be welcoming him back." she told him. She waited outside at the entrance. Her eyes were closed and she kept herself occupied by going through Cobra's thoughts again. They were so juicy and interesting. Her favorite memories that Cobra had involved the cruelest and goriest of murders. Oh, yes, this man truly was wonderful. But she was in control here, not Cobra. When she searched Renoko's memories, she was surprised that she was thought of as a different soul at first.

Ammeterasu's attitude was easy to detect and that was a good thing since the only thing she had to detect that it was her was her personality. One thing she didn't know was that

Renoko felt Darla going through her thoughts and was certain she would be interested in Marik's response that she was described as if she was another soul. "Who the hell does she think she is?! She thinks she can just control Lerena like that and get away with it?!" asked Renoko rhetorically. "There must be a way to stop her, to force her to give up control..." muttered Renoko, biting down on a thumbnail.

Darla let out a loud cackle when she heard what Renoko said. Was Renoko that unaccepting of her? Honestly? But weren't Renoko and similar? She ran a hand along her arm and snickered. She passed on the message that Marik was welcome to duel the Pharaoh and gave him the motivation to accept his challenge. But there was one thing that Ammeterasu was not aware of. Marik's dark side could've been awakened yesterday when he killed Carmela. Oh, yes, Marik was a murderer. If he took great pleasure in killing Carmela and put her through a lot of pain, then his dark side was likely stirring within him now. It may not be in control presently, but that didn't mean that Marik's strong hatred for the Pharaoh wasn't powerful enough for Marik's dark side to finally take over. All it took was one cruel murder and a person's dark side had time to begin awakening. The final piece of the puzzle for his dark side to come alive would be coming so close to taking what is his. If the Pharaoh actually lost to Marik, wouldn't it be unfortunate for his dark side to emerge? Hmph. If that happened, she'd deal with it then. She had no time to worry about things that may never occur. She looked through Lerena's deck and snorted. How was she supposed to win with this?

[[she can be another soul or another personality. Doesn't matter to me :3 ]]

"I did not just mean Lerena and Marik....." she said in a low voice. She did not further the conversation since she did not want to be as precise with him. The man spoke about how their will for him to lose was great. She looked over at Atemu for a moment. No, she trusted he would win- her heart told her so. He had to, she felt too strongly about this. And it felt very very personal to her. Sure, he was her Pharaoh, but there was something more. She stayed quiet about how she felt however, not truly understanding her feelings to begin with. The elders locked away her memories, but not her feelings. That's what would guide her.

He glared at Darla the whole time Renoko explained her to him. "That's not your body to control Darla. Give Lerena back her body and let her rest," he growled darkly. He was pissed about her using Lerena. Yes, he saw her as using her. Sure she saved her, but now she was let lose to do what ever she wanted. And what ever Darla wanted may not be what Lerena wants.

His eyes widened when Darla said Yuugi was coming here. He walked up to her and got in her face. "Why is Yuugi coming here?!" he yelled. Did she not realize he was the King of Games? He has not gone after him directly like this because he could only beat him by finding a weekness. "And if anyone is going to kill him it'll be me. Besides, you have the puzzle. If you just give it to me then I can take care of that damn spirit and be on my way!"

He looked over at Renoko, "It's not completely a lie. I do have the Pharaoh's memories! He doesn't have to duel me to get them either! It's not required by the ancient laws. But now that he knows he can easily duel me for them!" Of course he was pissed. The Pharaoh was never supposed to know he had his memories. Without his memories, he could never fulfill his destiny, just like he left him to never fulfill his. Not to mention, Marik wanted his power. Without his memories, the Pharaoh did not have all of his powers.

And not that it was bad what Darla has done, but Marik was pissed about it for the pure fact that it was Darla controlling Lerena. That's why he put up such a fight. Not to mention, it was he who wanted to take out the Pharaoh. He didn't even care about takings someones life right now. If he had to he had not. Not that he would go out and start killing who ever he wanted. But if he had to kill someone to get what he wanted, he would. Although that's what *it* told him.

"SHE DID WHAT?!" he exclaimed. "She lost it? Who the hell is Ammeterasu!?" he said obviously more pissed off. Damn it! "Like I said before, I'M taking out the Pharoah and taking back what is rightfully mine!"

When Darla left Marik growled along with Renoko. "I agree, that b***h needs to stop controlling Lerena," he growled. "I'm going out there...." he said following Darla out. He looked at the man behind the bar. "This place is closed now. Everybody out," he said wickedly.

"What?" the man asked in shock.

Marik brought out the rod and controlled the man. He ordered all the customers out as well as the employees. When he was done he left as well. He waited for everyone as well.

Ammeterasu walked into the Karaoke bar along with Yuugi and Cobra. She instantly could feel two large dark presence within the room. She looked at the man first, this must be the man who was supposed to wait for the Pharaoh. She could easily see a dark aura around him as if it could be seen in plane site. She focused on him first, looking into his true being. He himself was a golden color, someone who was true to the self, though someone who was selfish and too obsessed with his self. The soul had great potential to do great things, but can easily be mislead. Her orb glowed gold while a black streak orbited around the color. The black aura that circled was his dark side that loomed- this was his interpretation.

He looked at the girl first, "You're that new girl from yesterday," he said glaring at her. She had not had that item before..... was it a Millennium Item? He could easily see her eyes since he had an item himself. Was this the girl who won the Puzzle back from Lerena?

"Who would have thought that the man dedicated to returning the Pharaoh's memories would be someone hiding in his host's own class room?" she commented being a bit devious.

Marik sneered. "Seems everybody know a days has a split personality," he commented back at her.

"You should talk," she said walking off to the side not looking at him.

"Just because I kept my true intentions a secret doesn't mean I have another personality," he remarked.

"It's funny really, you have no idea? You have no idea what drives you, what controls you," she said looking back at him.

Marik paused for a moment. "Wait a minute..... your the one my sister spoke of, aren't you?" he growled. He brought out his Millennium Rod and pointed it at her. "Don't think for a moment you can control me! I've chosen my fate!"

"Fool, you can stop right there. No dark magic can affect me. Especially not a Millennium Item. I don't know who your sister is, but if she was able to predict me, it's easy to assume she has the Millennium Necklace," she said looking at the rod like it was nothing. "You're very far from your path. You have the power to correct that right here and right now. You are fascinated with a life that is yours and in your control," she said then tilted her head and narrowed her eyes, "then prove that you can. Don't work under *its* control."

"Shut you mouth woman! Or I'll shut it for you," he growled. He did not like the idea of being controlled. No, she spoke madness. He couldn't listen to her. She sounded like his sister almost, and that bugged him. He turned his attention back to the Pharaoh. "You have a lot of nerve you know? They talk about me and how I abandoned MY duties. Well what about you? What is your excuse for running?" he growled at Atemu.

She then took a look at Darla. "Oh Lerena, I wish I knew about this woman yesterday," she said sympathetically. Darla's soul was so very wicked and twisted. The orb glowed a thick black luster with red veins of light that sometimes changed to purple before disappearing. "It's easy to say that your soul is nothing but a twisted paradise of blood," she sneered a little. "You're much more manipulative then that man over there. So much different then Lerena. Parasite...." she said and walked away from Darla. Darla couldn't pretend with her, she knew. She could tell by comparing the two souls together. No, no matter what Darla said, she was not healthy for Lerena. She's seen cases like Lerena and Darla's back in her past. However, this was on a much higher level. If she didn't know better, she'd say she was another soul.

[[If you want to eventually have Lerena free of Darla, I was thinking that when Yami Marik finally surfaces, maybe she says something he he banishes Darla to the Shadow Realm? Before he could do anything else to hurt Lerena Amme could step in and help her.

Also, if you want to make Darla an actual soul, I was thinking of maybe having Atemu try and send Darla to the Shadow Realm. Amme can stop him (since she doesn't believe in murder) and beg him not to. Also, so she's not against him finishing off Marik's dark side, we'll clasify his dark side as a manifestation rather then another soul. Like a demon moreso then a human soul like Darla. If you want to go that way.]]

[[ps: I'm just going to call Atemu by his name when he's in control. Except when people say his name it'll be either Pharaoh or Yuugi. It was bugging me >.< ]]
