Kaimen Clough THE 9 TAILED FOXIN every Naruto based Ninja RP there comes a controversy about the 9 tails. Who has it and who doesn't. Here in the GNA we have what I like to call a "Special" incident between some members. I would like to take this time now to have that story explained by those who know it. So yea, I was RPing as Naruto here before and no one seemed to have a problem with it. I guess I stopped posting a lot or something because everyone was doing their own thing-- but my character still existed in the GNA. Seph was the one who originally taught Naruto in the Ho Dojo.
Apparently, according to Mai (I think her name is), Seph magically got the Kyuubi out of Naruto and put it in a fox. He didn't even PM me about it, he just did it. That's GMing if I've ever heard it. So actually that Kyuubi in the fox thing never happened, considering it was god modding to do that in the first place. That's all I'm saying. It never happened.

*Head droop*
No one listens to me. Seph had it before you came here, Nar. But he had it in himself, not outside. It's a reason he took interest in you to teach you (sorta...even though it ended up with me being the only real one to teach you Ho...and even that was a small bit).
I'm not sure about this Mai thing, since I came back while it was finishing up, but I know that he had it before this.
I'm not trying to start a fight over a past event, I'm just trying to make sure both sides are represented as best I could.

As for Ijutsu, minor wounds could be healed in a post, but that's an entire post. This would probably include things as an open scar to a flesh wound that's bleeding a little, where they just need to put the two sides back together.
As soon as it hits the muscle, things change and it'll take two posts. Bones, three to four or more depending on the severity (this also goes for muscle). Flesh isn't included in this because flesh is the easiest to repair and takes the shortest amount of time.
Overall, it's fairly stupid to do it in a fight unless you're in a tag team and you're not fighting at the moment...which brings up the question as to why you're even posting.

Just another question; who here knows how to actually fight hand to hand properly? I'm going to be needing a few teachers to help me with Taijutsu and the kids since I'm planning on keeping that as a main dojo in a sense that I'd think most people would need combat training other than just elemental. It's honestly a crippling force when someone doesn't know how to fight properly. I've fought a few people here before, using a little more than nothing but a speed boost to move due to trained muscles in my legs and maybe a bit of elementals in my hands (palms) and dominated the fights just like that. Whereas if I were to go against say, Kai (as we have in the past), it'd be harder to win since he also knows how to fight. Actually think we tied last time...I won the overall fight barely and he knocked me out with a bean burrito fart that had me out for a few posts, poisoned. rofl Point is, I need teachers. I need good ones. I need ones that won't leave and actually know their s**t. (Copy of the last fight Kai and I had: http://www.snapthepodcast.com/Tut and Kai dance fight.txt It's a little hard to follow, and a smidge bit godmodish at parts, but it was all just in good fun. Edit: The more I read this, the more I see spelling mistakes, grammar and stupidity...but the stupidity makes it funny.)

Well, I'm not sure how we'll be able to work out me teaching, but I could teach a bit of Taijutsu. I've been learning Aikido and Iaido/Budo for a few years now, so I pretty much know what to do in Hand-to-Hand or sword fighting. Granted, Aiki is a different flavour of CQC than most styles, but it's still damn effective.
Also, I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed how much of a difference there is when you know what you're doing vs. someone who doesn't. I hate having to hold back and not end the fights in a couple of posts, which is mostly why I went a year and half without ever sparring anyone. <_<;

Well, I'd say that's the job for a possible mule?
I have a few outside sources I want to ask to help, but until we get things active I'm not going to since I don't want them to be waiting.
Question is, do we make this a pre-requisite class or not? It extends the person's time training, but it actually teaches them properly on fighting, which in turn would give us a good name once we produce quality students.

Tutsumi Hy *Head droop* No one listens to me. I see. So at the time Naruto joined, his character couldn't fully represent the ACTUAL Naruto. But Seph did now call anyone on this? Or rather MENTION that he had the 9 tailed fox at least to Naruto, who was, LOL, playing Naruto? I find that rather hard to believe/understand as to why someone might do that. What I want to do with the Bijuu's save 3 (including the 9 tailed fox) is make events with them, allowing us as a Dojo, to either trap and kill the Bijuu, OR, take them and seal them within a student that we would deem good enough. Considering, Each Bijuu is different, we'd also have to make it so that the students themselves, weren't the type to "use" it at a whim, or decide randomly that the Bijuu lost control. So my other Idea was to have the Bijuu's be sealed within mule accounts after the Events. As far as Seph went, his character had A LOT, of powers. Like many of us posting here. Besides his seemingly Omnipotent "Light Bringer" thing, whatever it was that was his "mother" or something, and the "Hyuuga" bloodline he acquired, I feel for him to say that he had the 9 tailed fox was a bit of a force. Then, passing it on into the body of an ACTUAL Fox, is another stretch in itself. In a recent filler episode the Foxes Chakra was collected and they made a "pseudo-jinchuuriki" for the 9 Tails out of the composite chakra that was scattered. How about, instead of the "REAL" 9 tails, what Mai has is just that, an incarnate, essentially not as powerful, but still potent enough to be some form of a threat. This way, we can make it so that the ACTUAL 9 Tails is not an article within the possession of the Dojo, or anyone therein, and would be fair to the character Naruto, being the only one from the Naruto universe, as well as the Storyline.

Overall, it's fairly stupid to do it in a fight unless you're in a tag team and you're not fighting at the moment...which brings up the question as to why you're even posting. You see, iijutsu posed that sort of problem, speed healing, since certain characters (like Kaimen making makeshift casts) and things are able to do it, but not to this "perfect" ability until later, or after the fight. Much of the time simply ignoring pain to a certain extent. To be realistic about it, Iijutsu would indefinitely hinder ones battling ability. If the posts were to go as you've suggested Tutsumi, and as such, if one were to learn it, they should then apply it after a fight. A Dojo to teach it is pointless, and instead all that would simply be combined in the Medical wing. Like when we had Hwen, there would be one head doctor, and then nurses/people that would like to become better at it. It could turn the Medical wing into a makeshift "dojo" an active roleplaying place. Though, this idea of super regeneration has to have it's limits/falls/backfires. Such as Tsunade's "Genesis of Rebirth" Technique, it leaves her, after the chakra has run out, physically drained of all chakra let alone ability to move.

Back to Tutsumi's thing on teaching people hand-to-hand combat, I can help with that. I'm only a yellow belt in Kuk Sool, but that's still something. I just wing it on the weapons fighting with Iri. I've only done a little bit of training with nunchucks and wooden swords in Kuk Sool, and nothing like halbreds or fans. I wouldn't be a bad teacher in hand-to-hand combat, though, as long as you're only expecting basic training.

I'll wait around for a while since I'm unsure about some of the changes going on. I remember a few hand to hand styles even if I'm out of practice used to be three belts below black-belt, blue-belt at the time, before my back got screwed up years ago, so I'll try to help if I stick around in the end.

I don't wish to be rude in this, but I'd like to also run a 'test' of sorts to make sure things are up to quality, once we get all of our teacher applicants. It'll be to make sure we get the cream of the crop kinda thing, with those who lost, probably becoming subs (unless they sucked?)
It's still under review in my mind at this time.

For anyone wondering what's next, I'm going to be working on inserting the Dojo Descriptions this weekend. What you can be doing for now, is coming up with Storyline ideas and posting them here. I already have the first and second chapters in my mind.

I don't know the names of moves, but I know the limitations of the body, how to work it, etc. If it's my masochist, Dante, hee... well... he's just FUN to fight with. xD
