She laughed happily and nodded, following Kami's lead. She quickly got the hang of it, a happy smile on her face. The young woman seemed to be happy. Even her bird companion was flying around a little more.

((Aug!!! I'm tired of being Sabin!!! Yanatareo!!! Take the character from me!!! I quit! ))
Marguerite held out her hands for Sabin to take. She really didn't want to touch him, but she knew for the contest's sake she'd suck up her fear. She could swing, but the speed of the song Kameo had chosen was much faster than what she was used to, not to mention she hadn't swing-danced in years, so she was a little rusty.

((Dang! Reading all of Sabin's activities took longer than I thought it would! @.@ Sorry for the delay!))
Sabin stared at Marguerite as he took her hands. He glanced at Kami and Gita, dancing flawlessly. He blinked. This dance wasn't nearly as simple as the original. He had expected the song to be more challenging, but not that extreme. He nodded at Marguerite, a fake smile crawling across his face. "Let's dazzle the eye, shall we?" he winked, intending upon using magic in the aid of this dance. Of course, it wouldn't be as easy to adapt to as the first song, but sabotage always worked nicely, when skill couldn't.

Kami was happy that her partner could dance so well, and that this couples dance wasn't in too much danger of compromising her performance. Gita was very light on her feet, and was easily adapting to the song, but Kami wanted to try some more skillful moves, but wasn't sure if Gita would be able to handle it, or if she could pull it off properly from the lead position.

Kameo silently watched his contestants, his expression unreadable. These people were considerably more talented than he had initially thought; they were all rising to the occasion a lot better than he had thought they would. It took a little effort on his part, not to smile and show his pleasure in how well this event was going.

Marguerite slowly nodded, seeing through Sabin's smile. Something was up with this man, and she was uneasy about the whole situation. She forced the lump down her throat, Sabin's hands cold and clammy, like he himself was dead. The touch sent a shiver through her body, but she pushed past it, and began the dance, hoping the man at least knew what he was doing so she wouldn't look too horrible.

Gita 'looked' at the young girl and smiled happily. She didn't hesitate, but merely made a move to tell Kami to go ahead and try what she wanted and she would do her best to keep up with her.

((sorry guys. Had a hard time tracking down my characters. lol))
Knowing she was already extremely late, Maila had hurried to her room to get dressed for the ball. Once she was ready, she went over to join the rest of the party. Staying near the sides of the doors, she took a deep breath to calm herself and looked around. Suddenly not knowing what to do, she moved herself to an empty table and watched the dancers.
Vangie eased herself into the room, trying to go unnoticed. Although she had argued slightly with Marguerite about wearing dresses and skirts to the ball, she had actually managed to find a dress she liked, and so it is what she chose to wear. It felt strange to be wearing such a formal and girly outfit, so she merely avoided contact and tried to blend in with the surroundings, making her way to the food to see what they had to eat.
