Aria sits back in her seat, smiling a little. Their words were powerful. Their words resonated. But would it be enough to win the majority vote? Looking about the large rotunda, the Hapan Senator scans the faces of her fellow delegates and reaches out with something more...

Hogwash...all the Force-Users should burn!

They're right. Why would they turn on us now? My brother's wife's sister is a Jedi...she's off policing pirates...

Pretty words...but not good enough to convince me....

Uh oh...the Imperial delegation looks....sour....

Mishera should tell them about the incident with the Jedi....surely it will help to convict those wizards...

I wonder if they could use that "mind trick" to convince us of their nonsense...

Aria blinks and shakes her head slightly as the mixed emotions regarding the issue bombard her. All around her, the hushed mutterings of the Senators fill her ears; and in her head...the unspoken words...

Curses! she mutters with a grimace. I really should have paid attention to Sister Cyane's lessons about "shielding"... she thinks as her temples begin to throb. She raises a slender hand to her right temple and gently rubs it in a circular motion, trying to ease the pain while she waits for the next speaker to dazzle the crowd with his or her words....

*Words of Unease... The warrior shook his head. Of course having those few words alone is not enough to aid the Jedi. But the warrior is plotting something. Something that does not care about the Jedi survial or the Sith death. To him, it is nothing to sacrifice the two groups to death for his plan... After all the Jedi were too stubborn and foolish, the Sith was too proud and stupid. Yet, he has to protect the Jedi first. The general Force User.

Then he would have to start an internal strife within the Interglactic. A minal dispute among them. The Jedi shall act as a decoy...*

"I have such proof. The people who saw the attack heard the annouce that they were Jedi. They claimed to be Jedi knights, that is proof. We have bodies with lightsaber wounds, and broken bones but no bruises."

He turned to face the no squabbling senate members. "As for this bribery, the towns people gained nothing prior to and after this attack. The only thing they received was help from the IGA. The only thing they got out of the attack was the loss of their friends and family, I do not think that is a valid bribe." He has payed close attention to the points he would step on, and those he would step over. It was a tricky maze.

"And your right master Jedi, you've proved my point. The Jedi are raised learning the Jedi codes and rules. And as I recall several jedi have broken republic rules over time, even your great Master Skywalker. For sake of others, I will not name any others unless asked. It would be embarrassing for their family members and friends. And while we're on this subject, you say no jedi would have, to quote you; 'been dumb enough to create such commotion to land their Order into trouble'. This is of course a lie. How about Corran Horn? Destroyer of Ithor. Or Kyp Durron, leader of a fighting squadron that took no orders, not even from the Jedi. He rampaged through out the galaxy 'defending' it with his violence, and landing the Order in a great deal of trouble."

He paused letting the last part sink in, but only for a second. "Hmm. 'A Jedi may break the law if he feels it is necessary' were those not your words. The truth spoken. As long as they feel it is necessary, like a parking fee, they can break the law. Say they have someone they owe money, and they don't want to pay them. They could kill them, because it's necessary to avoid going broke. This is why the Jedi are a rouge order and must be stopped. It has happened before the New Republic, during the New Republic and now in our times. It has to end somewhere. I hope it ends here."

"Admiral, you are again misguided," Relina spoke out against the Imperial delegate. "If I were to masquerade as a Jedi, and use some mini-repulsor lifts to make things float or bash people into walls while holding a lightsaber as I claimed to be a Jedi, would you believe me? If I was cloaked and hooded, or masked, and you could not see my face, would you say that I was indeed a Jedi because I held a saber and could make things move 'with my mind'? And then, after you killed me for being a danger to the public, you would unmask my body and claim that I must have been decieving the Senate all these years, from my childhood on Corellia to my schooling in the political universities all the way to my election to this esteemed position in the Senate? Because this is what you are presenting to the Senate as your esteemed 'proof'! You have found 'Jedi' and given no evidence except for children's nightmares! There are means of identifying people from their bodies for an organazation as esteemed as the Imperials. Surely you can give more proof than simple tales and stories. Or has the great Admiral finally lost as much respect for the Senate as this Senator has lost for him that he expects us to believe simple stories?!"

Relina was beyond reason from hearing the same phrases repeated over and over without a single point being answered. This time the Admiral had pushed too far.

((Going to add more later, but if you respond first that's ok))

((Did I push her big red button? xd domokun ))

He only smiled. "Please senator, control yourself. There is no need for anger. Maybe if the people whom commited this crime were captured or killed we could just pass this off as fake. But since there are a great many people, and a great many former people whom either saw the Jedi or were slain by them, there is no way this can be dismissed just because of the minute possibility of it being a fraud."

Perhaps he could channel her anger into something useful. Make her seem to be onesided on the veiws of the Jedi. That would be indeed helpful. Then she would be discredited and he wouldnt have to hear of her again.

"Like Senator Relina had spoken. All could only be a act. What do lightsaber wounds mean? Any human can hold a lightsaber in his hand. Anyone can claim they are Jedi Knights. No broken bones, no bruises. If I could kill with a lightsaber instantly, why would I break their bones? If they are Force users, their Force push could have send them spiralling and flying to walls, breaking their bones and their body structure.

Bibery? Towns people gained nothing? I would not bet on that. But let put this in another way. How about threatening. What if their life is threatened if they do not put up such lies? "

*He paused to have his second speech delivered.*

"Now now. I have just prove myself right for you being incapable of labelling a Jedi as evils. You do not even know what they do the their temple. And therefore you have no right to say upon their actions.

As you had just said that Jedi are raised learning the Jedi codes and rules. And that several Jedi had broken this rules. So are they incapable to following the rules just because they learn this rule way older than before? Do you even know why Jedi was accepted at the young age. I will give you a second chance to defend yourself. Or I could proof that you know nothing of the Jedi. And therefore have no say over what the Jedi are. Let say I give you this second chance to elaborate yourself.

Now, about Corran horn and Kyp Durron. You say they are foolish enough to land their Order into trouble? Now after you take the second chance I have given you. I shall not explain this until later.

((Why ain't anyone posting? gonk ))

*He stared at the awkward silence across the Senators. It had meant a certain level of success. At least to him.*

"Force-Users play a serious role in the galaxies. To all of you, are just like a glass of water... The glass in like the galaxy. The Galaxy binds the "water" within."

*He pressed the button on the left panel, letting the craft to fly towards the Imperial Offical. The Admiral.*

"Each one of you senators here are within too. Each army of Forces represent a hand. The Republic a hand. The Imperial a hand. The Vongs a hand. Or any other threats. The Republic and the Imperial had decided to join forces for a pair of hand. And that the Vongs are gone, a certain peace hover over the galaxies. Until the Force-Users was brought in. Not as a hand, but as a Force."

*He threw the glass into the air.*

"Like raging Demons and Dragons, the Force-Users shall fight. Sending the glass flying to all different direction. The water within in violent clashes and dispute. But the water remained still. Despite the firm hold of the Republic and the Imperial, the battle torn from the hands."

*The glass began to move in all direction, but the water remained within.*

"Now... That if the Force Users are gone..."

*The glass fell back into his hand.*

"Within the chaos new forces of hands may join in to grab the glass of water. This hands, violent and selfish. The glass may slipped from their hand... "

*He threw the glass onto the Admiral craft floor, letting it shattering and flying in all direction. The water spraying on the Admiral face.*

"The galaxy destroyed. The water dispersed. All of the forces out there are like a dying man in need for water to satisfy your own selfish needs. You all combat the water in the name that it is for the people good. But all you all one is to basked in the fame and honour of being the highest. Decorated in riches and life. The Water is like life to you. And all of you wants it. The crude actions and violent actions may cause not just a ripple in the water, but perhaps the whole galaxy to destruction. On the other hand the Jedi and Sith may fight for the water. But we knew to keep our importance for destruction. Even as we fight, our force powers will never let the glass fall."

*...*

"If the Force-Users are around, even if the glass slipped from your hand, they will very well bring them up back to you."

*A slight grin spreaded at the sight of the drenched Admiral.*

((Oi... I don't know what to post! Jason is dancing on the Senate, dammit! stressed Volt's just going to mimic him. ._.))

Volt couldn't help but chuckle at what the Force User had just done to the Admiral. "You see, Admiral, from this small demo, that the Jedi are needed everyday. We have given the entire Senate more than enough proof to to prove it, but yet you do not accept it. You repeat yourself like a broken record, forcing us to creat more and more answers until we have nothing left to say, which then you will point out to the Senate as we stand there, dumbstruck. In reality, there will be no end to this conflict amongst the Force Users and non-Force Users, because the galaxy is never at peice. Who would the people rather blame for something terrible that has happened to them, hmm...? The Jedi, why? Because we promise to protect them, but they seem to get into trouble whenever we're not around," Volt pauses for a chuckle, then continue. "We're the ones that are blammed over and over again, but guess what! We still protect the weak and the innocent, and we almost always come to the Republic's aid. It's human nature to blame someone but themselves, and it's usually those who have an advantage over them..."

((I have to say that I cheated and bought the novelized version of ROTS on sunday and I'm through two thirds of it - don't plan to finish it 'cause that would absolutely ruin the movie. But I'd like to say one thing -not a spoiler, no worries. And it is: that Lucas would be very proud of our little Senate RPing about the Jedi issue. You'll get it when you see the movie ^_^ ))

((Actually, he would shut Gaia down. Posting on public message boards (ie. Gaia) gives Gaia the copyrights on everything we do here. So he technically couldn't go after us sweatdrop Still not a happy thought.))

((I couldn't exactly say so. He won't. Firstly, he can never stop the world. Secondly it shows that he has lots of fans of his works. And lastly, we are helping him on free advertisement. xd ))

Through the magic of lazziness the trial was over and the Jedi were free to go. A desicion had to be made based on the facts presented at the trail now, hopefully soon.

((So ha!))
