Monty narrowed his eyes. "Not all fox demon tribes get along with each other. What tribe do you hail from young cat demon?" He didn't have a choice, if he wasn't from an agreeing tribe he'd run him out of the forest, it was the best he could do. If they were on good terms with his tribe then he would shelter him until they could find his parents. ((I'll make a chart later of different tribes))

He thought for a moment.. what was that name his parents always used?? Fur... Furlow! "The cat demon tribe of Furlow!" He stated proudly like his parents told him too... he only hoped they were on good terms with this tribe!

Monty jumped from the tree and balled up his fist, pounding it over his heart twice in salute. "Welcome young one, to the bone forest. Come with me to Fenton and then my tribe will search for your parents. It was unfortunate that you wandered in here, it is good that the wolf tribe did not find you first since they are not on good terms with Furlow currently, some dissagreement about traded food." he muttered.

He nodded while wondering if it was good that this tribe would help him... and should he do that fist-pounding thing too?? They didn't get along with wolves?? Then again his mom DID tell him to run if he ever saw one... but he thought that was more of a canine/ feline thing than a dispute. "Thank you.." he replied quietly

He shook his head. "Not a problem, your tribe sends us medicine so it is the least I can do." He said, heading back towards the clan's village. "Come along."

He followed along... his tail waving back and forth in contentment. He'd be safe here... he had to be if they were friends with his parents!
((Can't remember what color I wanted to use for my human... oh well he gets this!))
Toshi was walking in the direction (he hoped) a village would be in. It had been awhile since he'd been in one and he needed more supplies. He hadn't had much action on this trip... the one half-breed he met ignored him passing completely... that still puzzeled him.

They were soon in the clan village which was actually larger than most, topped by only a few others. The forest was immense and at least four different clans were there, though only the one was a fox demon tribe they were friends with the wolf demons. He made another barking noise, calling his mate. "Maralah, take this cat demon to get something to eat, I'm going to get a team together to find his parents. He's from Furlow." He said, noticing the look on her face. She took him to their hut, preparing a stew for him. Meanwhile, Monty got together a search party and headed out. ((Where is Toshi? The bone forest?))

He followed Maralah dutifully and tried not to cause any trouble. He thanked her for the stew just realizing how hungry he was!! When DID he eat last??

Maralah smiled gently and touched his hair gently. "You remind me of my own Kira, she is half tiger demon. Her appetite is like your own."

He beamed as he swung his legs back and forth "really? *innocently* But aren't you a fox demon?? How is your daughter a half tiger?"

She patted his head and smiled. "She is adopted, she was run out of her foster home's human village. I wonder if you are as naive as you seem little one." she muttered to herself.

"Oh... I didn't know demons adopted other kinds. Thats nice! *frowns* Why did they run her out?? Didn't they like her?" He hadn't heard the naive comment.. but was quickly proving that he was!

Maralah smiled but then it faded. "She was accused of murder, though she was only four. It was an accident, and they just wanted to blame her."

He looked at her curiously "Awww thats so mean! I didn't know people could be so cruel!! *pause* But...Did she do it? Please don't get angry! You said it was an accident... I was just wondering if it was her accident? You don't have to tell me... its not my buisness and besides you've been nice to me and my mom said to never ask personal questions to your hosts.. but I forget sometimes. Sorry." His legs stoped swinging and he looked ashamedly at the floor.

Maralah smiled and shook her head. "Fox demons are not concerned with polite manners, only the truth, so do not worry. She was attacked by one of the village boys many years older than her and in the end, because she had to protect herself, he was killed. He was going to kill her and cut off her tail to give to the girl her liked. Townspeople are cruel."
