 Violet was distracted, momentarily, by a memory. She was standing in a cemetery as a casket was lowered into the ground. She felt empty and broken, a feeling both terrifying and numbing. She could feel tears in the back of her throat, but she was trying hard not to cry... "Hm?" Violet snapped out of her revelry as Oual directed her attention toward Danielle. Noticing that this lady was surrounded by Mr. Sparkys, Violet pouted slightly. Other people could have shiny dates, but not her? How unfair.

Tehra seemed to notice that Tommy had zoned out for a few moments, then tuned back in as she spoke. He hadn't stop gazing at her, it was an interesting moment, and interesting feeling- she wasn't quite sure what. "Well in the stories there's usually only one hero- and when others show up they sometimes have rivalries. Well lets just hope once everyone's out in the open about their powers, they will all get along..."

 Danielle waited a moment to make sure Cross was going to leave with the robots but, as always, he was slow on the uptake. She shrugged at the table of people and sat down in a seat. "I'm not exactly 'big and important,' but thanks. Your name was Cael, right? I never did get a chance to talk to you about..." Danielle trailed off, remembering everyone else just in time. "Well, we'll have to get another drink sometime. But who are all your friends?"

Tommy nodded, "Hopefully we dont have to encounter any insane super villains either." he said smiling, looking into her eyes.

"I think its probably some law of the universe..." Tehra said with a grin as she continued to look into his eyes "That where there are heroes there must be villains. I mean look at this- B.A.N.D.- is it really safe to have prom in their home if they really as bad as they say... its like the universe is begging for something to occur"

"Yeah....true...in every comic i read, once the hero gained his or her powers, it was a sure bet a villain would show up to counter." He said smiling a bit.

"It's amazing how that happens....." Tehra said with a smirk. "Seems the world won't let anybody get off easily, doesn't it. My vote, Tommy...." She said, meeting his eyes "is that we make our own little team, two are better than one.."

Tommy looked her in the eyes, silent for a while. He nodded "Yeah...I would like that.." He said smiling at her.

Tehra smiled as well, unable to pull her eyes away from him. "Guess we'll be spending a lot of time together then..." She smirked "Think you can handle me?" She said with a grin as she released one of his hands and spun out, then spun back in to where her back was against his chest, a grin on her face. It was a move popular to the show choirs, but would be likely to surprise Tommy, which was her point anyway.

Tommy grinned at her comment, "Well-" He was inturupted when she spun out and back, his face turned a bright red as she pressed her back against him, he swallowed hard, looking her deeply in the eyes, "W-Well...maybe I can...t-think you can...handle me?"

Tehra turned back so that she was back facing him, dancing as they had been before. "Oh I think I can take it... but I suppose the only way to find out is to do it.... so starting next week? Take the weekend off?"

 Before Cael could introduce her, Serenity butted in and held out her hand. "I'm Serenity," she said cheerfully. * * *  Cael raised an eyebrow at Serenity's intrusion to their conversation but decided not to acknowledge it. "She's a friend of mine from Vermont." Cael turned to look at the rest of his friends adding, "And these dumb-struck people are my date, Cait, and our friends Jay and Dan. I'm not sure what's got their tongues."

 The goth walked down a empty hall. Somehow, she had managed to get away from the crowds... but knowing that there was a high probability of these rooms staying that way.... With a sigh, Alma opened the door to a room appropriately called "Grand Study". It was empty (thank God). Smiling, she pulled out her headphones and found a seat. There was peace and quiet; she could only hope it would stay that way.
