Tommie nodded to Maia as she sat down on the controls. She quickly "located" the ship, and discovered that they had drifted slightly off course...the red and green planet was Noucharey, from the Clarisan system. They ought to be about a half parsec away from the Clarisan system. She quickly corrected the ship's course and relaxed.

Rieg considered her for a moment and then smiled, feeling no need to question her further, though she still piqued his curiosity. "I'm heading to Coruscant after a task I've been assigned to carry out. If you are content in remaining in this ship until I return, I have room in my Star Destroyer to accompany you to the Jedi temple." He bowed his head and moved past her, continuing on his way to make contact with the council.

Mako glared at the secetary, who scowled back.
Apparently women pirates lounging on your desk wasn't exactly the best thing in the day, even if she happened to be a pretty pirate.
"Madam," the secetary said. "Let me tell you, we just want you to finish this mission, and right now, you're on the verge of being-"
Mako interrupted. "Hon, ya know, a captain like me has got things to do, and only out of my generosity (and the pay) am I taking this for you."

Jaden was shocked for a moment, then happy all at once, "You'd really do that for me?!" She hurried to his side and kept his pace up, "Thank you oh so very much, I'd thought I'd never get there."

"You're only intercepting a starship, we've hired plenty before-"
"Ah, but this is a DANGEROUS Starship!" Mako gloated. "And I happen to be the only one brave and daring-"
"And stupid."
"And good enough to stand a fighting chance!"
The secetary was preparing to launch another insult, but as their little mercenary was ALMOST as good as she claimed she was...
The door opened. "Captain, here are your coordinates." Mako was handed a read-only chip. "I suggest that you hurry up."
Mako smiled and blew a kiss into the soldier's face. "Sure, hon," she said, and hurried out the latch and boarded her Fighter-class Starwing.
She slipped the chip into its slot, waved out of the windshield, and with a burst of light, she was off.

The Jedi Master stopped as the young girl ran up to catch up with him. He turned to face her and smiled. "You're quite welcome, young one," he said. "I was beginning to get a bit lonely anyway. It's an awfully long voyage by one's self. I could use the company."

Jaden smiled, happy for a change about the change in luck before realising she hadn't quite introduced herself properly to the Jedi, "Oh, my name's Jaden Usalarye. I promise to help out onboard your ship." Saying that with a bow she had learned from one of the many species Jaden had met, "What's your name sir?"

((Ah, this is the only time I'm straying away from Mako's usual personality, at least for now.))
"Hmm, let's see..." Mako muttered as a map of the point of interception appeared. She sighed, wishing that she knew why the heck they wanted to get this ship so badly. But that wasn't part of her job to ask questions, except for 'How much do I get paid?'
Mako clicked in a few digits on the keypad and plotted her course.

"Jedi Temple- What the...?" Mako peered at the screen and refreshed, not so sure if they had given her the right coordinates.
Of course, maybe the corperatioon was against these people...
She scowled as the map appeared the same.
And upon readying all weaponary and ammunition, she thought to herself, This is gonna be a heck of a fight...

Finishing the last bite of her chocolate, chocolate, chocolate sundae, Ambassador Alexa got up, and left a few universal coins on the counter before heading back to her suite to study up on the situation.

As the ship settled into it's programmed course (courtesy of Tommie), Tommie began to relax. Slowly her mind drifted to the past, when she'd been a real pirate, not someone working for the Republic, someone respectable. Ah those were the days...dangerous, of course, but full of thrills and the danger wasn't really so bad. And you could live the good life, provided you found someplace safe to sell all your booty. Still, life on the Aurora wasn't so bad either...after all, she'd gotten partial amnesty for all her work. She sighed and leaned back in her contoured chair. Oh, life was good after all...
((Can Tommie and Mako be old friends/rivals?))

((I dun see why not! If you PM me, maybe we could discuss it?))
Mako looked up to a blinking screen. "Eep?" the Pirate Captain muttered. "Interference... Ah!" She grinned. "Target approaching, collision with targeted ship sooner than I thought!"

Rieg nodded his head as he extended his hand. "Rieg Drinsdale," he said, smiling in greeting. "If you'll excuse me, I need to report to the council. I hope to see you again before I leave for my duty." He waved and walked towards the elevator that would take him to the garage where his ship was being stored.

As Mako's ship neared the target, her mind wandered to what she was going to do at the station, before going back to her pirates...
One of them was to eat as much chocolate as she could stuff down her throat. She supposed that it was a strange thing for a pirate captain to dream about, but the only dark, handsome thing she had ever loved was dark chocolate. Mmmm./.

Jaden decided it was best not to follow the Jedi but the name... the name rang a bell but why? Jaden thought hard before it came to her, father had mentioned a Rieg Drinsdale awhile ago before the... Jaden pushed the thought of what happened that forced her to leave out of her head
