"You never know if you'll need those!" Greta said gesturing to the trash can. But after a second thought, she decided to do the same. Her bag was a lot lighter. "C'mon, lets go 'n find someone who we can ask what the hell happened," she said as she gestured toward a girl nearby. "Uhmm, Excuse me," Greta said shyly tapping the girl on the shoulder.

((Yay, I set it up for you star!!!))

"HI" Madelyn said shyly as she turned to see who was talking to her. As Madelyn turned to talk face to face she saw twins, but Madelyn noticed they had two different unique styles. As Madelyn waited for a responce she was curious to know who these girls were because she had never seen them before

"Umm-Umm," Greta stammered unable to remember what she was going to say, "Umm, my sister and I, well we were just-just wondering, umm," Greta stammered into silence biting her lip.

"How old are you?" Natalie interjected, annoyed that she couldn't tell. She usually knew a lot about a person by just looking, but not this girl. She seemed to be harder. She wore old clothes, which would make sense if they really were in the past.

"Im 14" Madelyn replied back "Do you girls need help with anything?"

"Uhhh," Greta looked to Natalie for support. What should I ask?!?!?! she hoped her sister would have a good suggestion that didn't involve the truth.

What's the name of that building, I guess... Natalie thought, deciding to ask it herself. "What's the name of that building?" She motioned to the three prison like buildings.

Since everyone was distracted Tomha managed to get into the forest with no problem. He figured if he couldn't find his teacher here and demand better things to learn he can at least collect dead animals and practice his magic. "Lousy forest...so filthy and I bet has even more filthy wolves. If he's here I'm gonna kick dirt into his face!" Tomha shouted angrily. Since he was in the forest he would probably be discovered by now by the animals if their around.

(( That's abit of an oxymoron isn't it? a Necromancer not liking dirty things but will mess with dead bodies. ))

Kiatori watched as two strangely dressed girls walked up to one of the younger girls. Her name was...Madelyn, right? Yeah, that was it. Carefully, from his one uncovered eye, he observed the girls. One had thrown books in a garbage can a few minutes ago. Since no one was there to see, what was the harm in looking at them? He casually walked past the three girls, then rooted around in the garbage can until the textbooks emerged in his hands. Quickly, he sniffed them, and, finding that they didn't smell all that bad, he read the covers. They sounded pretty strange. Still, they belonged to one of the brunettes. So, he padded over to where the three of them were chatting, and, awkwardly and silently like he always was, he held the books out in front of the girls. The beads in his hair bounced off each other and made a rattling noise when he cocked his head to the side slightly.

((Just in case they recognize him, the kids around the block call Kiatori, 'Old man Tori', or 'Grampy'.))

"Umm, Nat," Greta elbowed her sister and nodded toward the person holding out Natalie's books. "I'm pretty sure that those are your books," she said gesturing towards the ratty old books. She always kept her books in the best condition possible.

Natalie shrugged, "I threw them away cuz I didn't want them, or need them, for that matter," She said, pushing the books back at the boy, "Put them back in the trash." Natalie wasn't sure why he fished them out of the trash when she had put them in there.

Kiatori accepted the fact that she didn't want them. Maybe she was trying to make room for new books in her room? Books were nice. And these looked especially interesting. But, she had told him to throw them away... But he wanted to read them...

He gave the girl an inquiring look. Would she let him keep them if he asked? But that was awkward. After all, he had fished them out of the trash to give them back to her when she had deliberately thrown them away. She must have thought he was some sort of psycho freak. He felt stupid.

Aiden walked down the street, feeling big. After all, he was the top man in town. He strutted his way down the street, 17 years old, still green, flunkies hounding him. His blonde hair swayed in the wind, and his scar still looked fresh. He wore a leather jacket, denim jeans, and combat boots. He wore a single glove, covering his scarred hand, and held a look daring anyone to stare at him. Unfortunately one rather small man did. Aiden immediately cornered him, and his flunkies felt mildly bad for him. Nobody was supposed to stare at Aiden. He didn't like his scar.
"What? Hm? What are you staring at? Is it the scars?"
The man shook his head wildly, knowing the appropriate answer.
"Then what is it? Hm? Am I just that pretty?"
The man nodded emphatically, trying to keep himself alive. Aiden grimaced at him, disgusted by his fear, and just left him. Aiden kept walking, and saw a girl. A very attractive girl. While walking by her, Aiden grabbed her in a very inappropriate place quite obviously. She turned in response, but seeing Aiden, turned away. Aiden always got what he wanted.

"Okay, I don't care what you do with them, but if this really is 1939, then if you tell anyone whats in those, they'll think you're crazy," Natalie shrugged, realizing that the boy looked rather disappointed that she had thrown them away in the fist place. She looked around and down the street, only to see a guy strutting down the street self-importantly. She stared at him, taking in his huge scar, and finding it silly that he thought he could get whatever he wanted.

Alexander sat infront of the boys school reading one of the many books on magic his family had. The pages filled with latin script made no sense to anyone else. He muttered to himself in latin as he read, trying too make sense of each incantation, since no one had ever bothered to ladel anything in the old days. He took out his pocketwatch and checked the time. He muttered something slightly louder and the the watch stopped. the second hand ceased to move. He looked up, everything was frozen in place. He saw peoples mouths open, mid sentance. He saw Aiden up to his usual trouble. Alexander rolled his eyes. For some reason he had a large urge to do something childish to the boy well he was frozen like this. Alex shrugged the notion off. Alex closed his book and got up, the walked down the street spinning the pocketwatch around on it's chain whistling. 3...2...1... Everything started to move as Alex's magic wore off then returned to normal speed. Nobody had noticed a thing, to them another few seconds had passed but nothing speacil, the only thing was that the few people who glanced in his direction before and after his magic would see him vanish and reappear.
