Same here. Disturbed was in Oklahoma last month (I think), and I couldn't go to it.

I passed up The Airborne Toxic Event last month.
Also a couple of years ago, I passed up Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Mars Volta.

They've got to be one of my favorite bands ever.

My brother hates them. D: He gets pissed any time I put in one of their CDs.
It was funny when trying to translate the lyrics of L'Via L'Viaquez to him though. My spanish is bad so I would just say things like "Uh...something about a bloody dress and...he just said 'street'." XD Though, now that I just read the lyrics, he said "cleaning the blood". D:

Televators is still one of my favorites though. I didn't know there was a video for it until an hour ago. XD

It's just a saying.
Older speakers would only go up to 10db. So, saying 'turn it up to 11' is just an expression of 'turn it up all the way'.
That entire album is truly one of the greatest I've heard.
I could listen to it over and over. And sing along with it.

Aha. I understand. :]
I only own Frances the Mute and De-Loused in the Comatorium. D: The first of which I left in my friend's car by mistake.
I love their lyrics. They force me to pull out a dictionary constantly. XD

I see.
I own all of their stuff.
I think. xd
If you can, their newest one 'Bedlam in the Goliath' is very good.
Lyrics is the reason they fascinate me so. They use a lot of medical terms mixed with spanish.
They really are unique.

Yeah. Most of it seems nonsensical but I still enjoy it. :] Their lyrics always put strange images into my head. Like the chorus to “Eritarka”
"Track marked amoeba lands craft Cartwheel of scratches Dress the tapeworm as pet Tentacles smirk please Flinched the cocooned meat Infra-recon forgets"
I mean, WTF, mate? XD

Exactly.
Well, the entire album De-loused was based on the morphine-induced coma fantasy of Julio Venegas.
The start of the album Son et Lumiere, tells of his decent into the coma. "Gestating with all the other rats, nurse said that my skin will need a graft. I am of pockmarked shapes, the vermin you need to loathe"
This tells of his time in hospital. He tried to kill himself by ODing on morphine.
Then as the song progresses to Inertiatic, by that point, he is in a coma.
It's a very unique story about a man named Cerpin Taxt.
You should read more into it. I find it a combination of genius and madness.
As you can tell, I really love this band.
