issue solved. there is no dvd/cd rom drive on a laptop mini*is not bright lately* i now currently even have a bigger issue. the people i rent from... yeah i might be getting kicked out by the end of the month. they want me to pay extra.

And why the hell do they want you to pay more? Do they have a good reason for it, or just being idiots??

Ok....actuall advice I need right now.....well more like a Problem I need solved. Someone figure out how to get the contacts for MSN from a desktop to a laptop.....-grumble grumble- stupid laptop.

Well, shouldn't your contacts be saved into the account itself, so that when you sign onto the account, all the contacts are right there?
If not, you can always save the contact list from MSN itself to your desktop or something, then email the file to yourself, save it to your laptop, and upload it from there =]

This is going to sound stupid, but you could always retype contacts into the list or something again if you have to. I had to do that for Yahoo email a while ago.
Sucked.
But Rannu's right, I thought it was sort of like any server - the information's on the server or whatever, not the computer itself. Alex can log into his AIM account from my computer and all his contacts are there.

Well when I try to log in it says that they can't be gotten at that time.....So I was trying to find a way to make it so I could just copy and paste them to this laptop but that didnt work either.

And welcome to the club. Twenty and not working. Although I can focus totally on college with the agreement with my parents, so it's not all bad. I miss having my own money, though.
