"A bother? Oh, no, you won't be a bother at all." She said quickly, nearly giggling like a star struck teenager. "Jaione is away with my sister, and my brother is usually off with his friends, and dad has been keeping busy fixing up the house." She grasped his hand tighter. "You'll add nicely to the house. Besides, maybe by tonight-" Her free hand flew up to her cheek bashfully. She was really acting silly... She couldn't help it now though. Raist said he'd stay over! "-Maybe by tonight, we'll be friends." She like thinking about that better than the thought that Raist might find someone new.

"I'm glad that I won't be a bother then." Raist smiled at her giggling. He nodded as she spoke, he had been interesting in meeting some of her family but there was always another time. "Well I look forward to meeting whoever I will." A large grin spread across his face, she was still quite shy. "Well I hope that we do become, we have this entire evening."

Vesna's smile was bright, hardly believing her luck. "I'm sure they'll all like you once they get the chance. I should warn you though, dad is a bit... possessive. Though, I suppose every father I've met is of their daughters." Her eyes took on a slightly starry night look. The whole evening just for them. Suddenly what she had only previously dreamed was walking right next to her. It was almost slightly overwhelming. "Yes, and it doesn't have to end at the market!" She said excitedly. "We could go to one of those all-night taverns or diners too. Some of them are nice. Then after that... I don't know." She giggled. The walk to her house would be nice.

Raist grinned. "Heh, well I hope he doesn't see me as to much of a threat. Though I suppose you are right, I don't think any father wouldn't be protective." He glanced down at her, he hadn't been this carefree for a while, he liked it. A smile crossed his face. "You are right, I think something after the market would be great. I do hope to find a suitable instrument at the market."

Vesna shook her head, giving Raistlin's hand a slight squeeze. "He'll like you. I'm sure of it. He and I... We usually like the same things." She looked straight at the path, a small smirk and blush highlighting her face, eyes bashfully, flirtatiously?, downcast at the implication. "Yes, I'm sure there will be something there to be perfect for you. Most if the items being sold are high quality."

Raist squeezed her hand back unconsciously. "Well if you say so then I've nothing to worry about." He smiled at her blush. The implication of like caught him for a while, his mind wandered for a moment on the thought. "Great, sounds like I will have a lot of nice choices then!"

Smiling, Vesna gave a small nod. "Nothing at all. And yes, many choices." Hopefully not of beautiful females... ~~~ In what seemed like no time at all to Vesna, the two cervitaurs having chatted the walk away, the stalls of the market appeared in the distance, flags rustling in the wind. "Here we are!" She said, picking up her pace, giving Raistlin's hand a tug to move faster too. Though initially looking like a maze, the market was simple lines and aisles of stalls situated for the best viewing. Stall keepers fought for the attention of the small amount of customers making their last picks of the day. "Looks like we just made it. We'll certainly have time to at least look."

His day had turned out so different then he thought it would be, and he was glad for that. Raist was usually alone and was glad to have found someone to talk to. When Vesna announced they were near the market he looked ahead and saw the flags. With the tug on his hand he picked up his pace to watch hers. "Good, it would be nice to look around a little before deciding on something. So which way first?"

"I don't know. I have to figure out where the music section is. I'm usually where sewing and such are set up." Reaching the market, Vesna gave a quick scan of the layout. "Probably over here." She said, giving his hand another tug as she started down an aisle. "If you want to stop to look at something, just let me know."

"Well if we have time we can always go by what sections you would like too." Raist smiled as he followed her lead from her hand tug. "Sounds good, we can walk down first and come back around a second time. That way we can see what they all have to offer." He hadn't been to a good market for a long time and was excited on what they had to offer.

Vesna looked back, blushed, and looked forward again. "If we have time." She nodded, glancing at each stall. They seemed to be in the predominantly cooking area. "They do have a lot to offer here. More during the summer, but still a lot."

Raist barely caught sight of her blush and he grinned. "I shouldn't take to long to find what I am looking for." He looked around at the stalls as they passes. "I don't see many markets, it would be nice to see this one during the summer.

Vesna perked her ears, a little warmth in her chest. He wanted to see the market in the summer... "So, the summer." She glanced back, then forward again, pausing to finger a hand towel. "Does that mean you'll be hanging around for the winter and spring?" A hint of hopefulness fluttered in her voice.

His bright eyes glanced at her as she stopped for the moment. Really he hadn't thought of what he wanted to do, but staying sounded like a nice idea. "I think I am." Raist smiled. "I'm really getting to like this area."

Vesna grinned, though she remained looking at the towel. She didn't want to seem too excited and scare him off. With her smile back under control, she looked over at Raist, her hair falling back into it's usual place to cover her blind eye. Raist had such a nice smile. "At the least, I'm glad to hear that." Her small tail flicked happily as she continued their pace toward where the instruments should be.
