::Charlie ate it and understood Kallman and trouble. He growled and waited for further instructions for Hanah.:: "Take me to master" ::He said.
PostPosted: Thu May 21, 2009 6:17 am

"Come on," Hanna said with relief. "He was captured." She still wished that she could find Drake, but there was no more time. Night was beginning.
*
Hanna and Charlie watched the Hunters' hideout for a long time, finding the doors and watching the guards. Hanna wished desperately for more time, but she knew that that was one thing she didn't have.
"Charlie," she said. "If I don't make it out in time, you have to make a diversion." She signed these things to him, the only way she could think of to show what she meant. "I am going to get Master."
Not knowing for sure whether he had understood, Hanna crawled forward and removed her weapons, all but a small dagger, and her shoes, which would make too much noise inside of a building. Then she sat very still and began to hold her breath, eyes closed, while she counted.
Onekana, si ona, si waliona. Kuwa basi, she thought. Seen, not seen, not felt. Be it so.
Her skin began to change color, pulsing first faintly blue, then deeper and darker in shade, until she began to disappear.
She opened her eyes and rose to a crouch, taking in her surrounding anew. The colors were as different as she felt, changing from black to dusky tones with odd purple highlights.
Like a great cat she rose to her feet and slunk forward silently, passing by the guards as if she was never there at all. When the nearest one turned his back, she crept through a side door and down another, then let her sense run wild.
She could not smell like Kallman, or see as well as Drake, but she could feel the water in the air, taste it on her tongue. It was heavy and metalic, like blood, contaminated by the horrors and evil of the place. Though it made her feel sick, Hanna leaned forward and breathed deeply, testing it. There-yes, there it was. The faint trace of clean scent that she knew was Kallman. She followed it to a locked door and stood outside of it, peering in.
She had found him.

::Charlie understood and went after any guards that dared step in his way. After all he ate anything and everything.::

::Kallman's head was bleeding as he slowly opened his eyes. He looked at his wrists chained in front of him. He banged against wall furiously. He wanted so bad to go home. The five guards laughed. "There's no way you'll get out wolfie with those injuries." ::Unfornately they were right. If he wasn't treated soon he would either die or go into a coma due to loss of blood. Kallman could only hope that they hadn't captured his friend.

If Hanna's blood had not already been cold, it would have turned to ice at the sight before her. The words of the guards made her angry and she crept up behind them.
The others didn't know what to think when their friend suddenly hit the ground. There was no sound and no warning, but there he lay, very still. When the second of the five went down, the other three started to draw their weapons. Before the third had his sword out he had fallen, but the last two were ready for...what? They looked around them in fear and confusion, but there was nothing to see. All of a sudden, the left-most guard began to struggle, trying to swing his blade, but when this failed, he began to flail with his fists. He gave a kind of croaking gurgle and tumbled forward to lie with his face down.
The final guard put his back to the corner, leaving himself just enough room to maneuver his weapon.
Hanna edged forward.
With a grunt the Hunter stabbed at the spot where she'd been and she dodged away. Here and there she would make a sound and leap back as the burly man lashed out, until at last she had discovered a way to get past his deadly blade. He had a tendency to swing high with his blows, about the height of her shoulders. If she could time herself just right...
Hanna sighed loudly and dropped immediately to her stomach, rolling forward as he struck the air above her head. She threw herself at his legs and threw him off balance, into the stone wall. Realizing where the danger was, he kicked wildly, just grazing her forehead, but it was enough to throw her back a yard or two. With a snarl she rose to her feet and raised a fallen man's weapon. The half-stunned guard had no time to move as the cutlass cut through the air like a spear, making short work of him.
Hanna felt herself changing again, growing more visible as the seconds passed, blinking as the strange colors returned to normal and the prison lost its violet hue. Immediate danger past, she swayed on her feet, surprised at how tired she felt. She turned back to face Kallman's prison and everything blurred as she started to fall.

::Kallman sees her but has no way to get to her. He was chained to the wall. Wait there was one way. He started to transform into his animal form. His human body left him as he broke the chains and the grey wolf stood in the jail cell. He broke down the bars carefully put Hanna on his back and rushed out of the dungeon. Once upstairs he whistled to Charlie as they left the hideout and reached the middle of the forest. There was a cave. Kallman entered the cave and laid her down carefully on a soft spot. He licked her wounds and laid her within the comfort of his fur. His head was no longer bleeding as long as he stayed transformed they would be safe.

Hanna came to very slowly. Disjointed thoughts floated through her mind like bits of dandelion fluff in the wind, pictures and words and smells as well. The hazy thoughts finally began to connect themselves and Hanna groaned faintly, muttering a slurred curse.
"Bloody...magic..." she murmered and moved her hand very slowly to her forhead, tenderly touching a wound that was no longer bleeding. She could only remember being hit once...a flailing boot came to mind. The guard must have hit her harder than she'd thought...
Wait a minute, she thought, suddenly cold. I was in the Hunters' hideout. My spell must have worn out hours ago, but I'm not chained or anything...
She opened her eyes, blinking as they adjusted in the dim light.
It doesn't look like a cell.
If her guess was right, then it must be afternoon by now, which was at least nine hours since she'd gone after Kallman.
Kallman!
Before she knew it she was upright and looking around frantically. Daylight, demon's teeth daylight! They'll kill him!
That was when she found herself face to face with the wolf. She stared at it, not moving.
She blinked once with recognition as it dawned on her that it was Kallman. His eyes were the same, even in wolf form. She yawned and stretched her arms, no longer worried.
"What happened?" she asked, smothering another yawn.

::Kallman looked to her.:: "You tried to save me but the last hunter got the best of you. I was outraged that I changed into my wolf form if I turn back I will surely die of injuries. We need to get back to the swamp and then I will get my brother. He is the only one I know who knows how to cure me. Will you help me?" ::Kallman looked at her his eyes very seriously even in his wolf form he was aching of pain.::

Hanna couldn't hide the deep frown that etched itself into her features. Of their own accord her eyes examined him, noting how serious the injuries were. It would take a miracle to get them back to the swamp before Kallman collapsed, and she knew without a doubt that she couldn't carry him, not in his wolf form. Biting her lip, she reached for her sword-only to realize that it wasn't there. Nor were her shoes.
She said nothing to Kallman, but rose to her feet. "We had better go now then," she whispered. "If we don't hurry...nevermind. Where does this brother of yours live?"

"He lives in the swamp. If we hurry we can make it before the bugs come out and don't worry if I collapse I will return to human form. Let's hope we find him before that." ::Kallman got down on his stomach to let her on his back.:: "Hop on."

Hanna did as he said and they set off. If it came to the worst, she could save him...she hoped.

::Kallman ran through the forest ignoring his injuries. He saw the sun bright in the sky. He had to find Kai before nightfall. He saw the swamp ahead. They entered he contiued deep within the swamp there was a small hut. Kallman stopped and got down on his stomach to let her off.:: "Now, knock on the door, Kai will answer he will be able to save me." ::He said catching his breath as he returned to human form and fainted. Blood rushed down his head::
PostPosted: Thu May 28, 2009 4:06 pm

Hanna knocked furiously on the door, waited for a moment and knocked again.
"Kai? Kai! Kallman needs help!"
Please answer, she prayed. She turned back to Kallman and gave him her arm to help him keep steady.
"Deifir!" she whispered. "Sásaigh, sásaigh deifer!" He was losing too much blood and too fast, and she could tell it was hard for him to stay on his feet.
"Deifer!"

::Kai open the door and saw his brother. Without a word he led them inside.:: "Wait here" ::Kai then took his brother to a back room. Hannah was waiting on a couch. Kai began his magic after all he was a doctor although he wouldn't admit to it, he loved to help people. After hours of working he went out to Hannah:: "You may go see him, he will be fine."
