"thanks" he unsheathed his two blades from their position on his back and fomed a sizzor vice block with the two daggers while almost simultaneously perfromed a step kick to the side of loki's blade hilt disarming him in the process. mortis swiftly backed away letting loki retrieve his blade.
"your turn" he smirked

"Who said that was the blade?" Loki held in his right hand his sword while the sheith lay on the floor. Loki hadn't unsheithed the sword untill after the attack, using the sheith as an illusion, pulling back his blade as the sheith hit the block.
Loki lunged at Mortis with his black sword aiming at Mortis' left shoulder.
"The Genkaku shin! Mirror death illusion!"
((Translation roughly right... dont quote me on that though... hehe))

"touche" "you do realize ive trained as an assasin for the past hudred years right?"mortis said as he parried with his left dagger. he thrust his fist into the place where loki's heart would be as he ejected his wrist blade between loki's chest and arm. "normally that is a death blow"mortis retorted. he fulled back his weapon and swung around to his opponent's back.

Loki let the attacks hit him without any sign of pain.
"One hundered? Is that it?" Loki turned around at looked into Mortis' eyes with an evil grin.
"You think a shot to my chest is going to hurt me?" Loki contiued to pick up his shieth. "Lets make this interesting, hrrm? How about a near-deth match? Then you have no reason to hold back at all."
Loki sheithed his blade and ttook the Iai stance, holding his hand over the hilt.
"See if you can dodge this!" Loki yelled swinging his blade at Mortis.
Then he dissapeared and reappeared to Mortis' right and swung again. Again from the left, then from the back. But these were just shadow forms, none of them real. The real Loki stood in the shadows and waited.

((i gotta go to chuch after this note so well continue later))
"palease" mortis replied. "i am the master of the shadows and the shadow wrts. do you think you can fool me with these mock tricks?" mortis lunged to where loki hid with a blow to the sholder of his opponent with his wrist blade. piercing just the right spot to immobilize the arm. "katanas are alot harder to weild with one hand my friend."

The form of the Loki that Mortis had hit dissintegrated.
"If you would fall for hitting that shadow hen you are most certainly not the master." Loki reapeared in the centre of the ring. "Now! Show Me your True Power!"

"and yet....." mortis said devilishly as he performed a swift stagger kick to the back of loki's legs as he thrust his wrist blade into the ground next to the fallen loki's neck."do you yeild yet?

((Yea, i was planning on allowing the next few attacks to hit anyway ^^))
Loki was stunned. But that didnt stop him. He launched his sword into the air and rolled backwards, ending it by jumping to his feat.
"Here's something you should know." Loki said as his sword dug into the ground at the other end of the room. He threw the sheith over to it aswell. "No matter who i'm fighting, no matter whether i'm loosing or winning, no matter where i am, I never yeild." His face turned into a demonic grin as he closed his eyes.

"good form my good man"said mortis. "but have you checked your side lately?" causing loki to look down and notice the knive wound in his thigh.
"its good to know you dont give up though" he propelled his knive at loki with blinding speed

Loki looked at the oncoming knife and let it hit him in his chest. Loki staggered back and looked down, his hair covering his eyes. His mouth showed slight pain as his mouth fell into a teeth-bearing frown... ((If you understand what the hell that means...))
"Well done, you distracted me enough to hit me twice. But take a look at your arms." With those words a gust of wind swept past Mortis causing his sleaves to shred and his arms to cut deeply.
He glanced over at the gun sitting on the desk. Looking back at Mortis he smiled an evil grin.

"son of a....." groaned mortis. "how cold i forget ?..."he thought about what his dad told him at the age of ten"an asasin hits fastand hard, and then he goes. failure the first time its that much harder to strike again."was the exerpt his father had told him as a child. he shed his cloak as his eyes flared with uncotrollable rage. he flashed 1 set of razor sharp talons aas he simultaneously ejected his wrist blade whick glowed in tandom with his breath. he sucked some of the blood from his own wound to increase his rage. finally mortis said "you know what?" "this thing is so over." he launched himself towards loki with a feral rage slashing furiously with his remaining dagger and wrist blade he rushed in seemingly passing through his target. he glanced back to see the likewise gnashed loki stagger to the ground.

Loki took the shot and fell forwards but regained his ballence. His cloathes ripped and deep wounds appeared in his body. But this made no difference to him, he stood back up, his face calm, almost emotionless.
"You know, your not that bad. I shouldnt have underestimated you."
Loki placed his hands by his side and prepared to take another attack.
"Think you have what it takes to beat me? C'mon Mortis, show me your strength!" Loki's normally cold voice became infused with bloodlust as he said this, practically spitting blood.

"oh i have what it takes" replied mortis."I havnt yet warmed up. you on the other hand....you show all the usual signs of exaustion. the stagger, the slight lessening in speed, and most of all speaking as if you have seen my power and not liked it." he lunged with precision as he dodged any possible counter attacks, grabbed hold of an arm and rounded into a tight spin elbowing loki in the rear of the head.
((hence the "possible" part))

Before Mortis reached him Loki dissapeared, re-apearing beside the table with his Jackle on it.
"Oh dear my friend, I do not underestimate you. I know you are not using your full power, and i know you aren't worn out. Then again, neither am I."
Loki placed the gun holster over his sholder and dissapeared again.
He reapeared at the other end of the room, his gun still holstered.
"And you shouldn't underestimate me. What do you expect when someone allows them self to be hit? Most would expect the opponent to stagger a bit. And a lack in speed? When did i attemt to avoid you, except for just now."
Loki dissapeared again, not showing his location, though his voice echoed around the room.
"Get ready little Mortis." then he appeared behind him, moving his left arm around his neck, his right around his body and using his leg to trip them both to the floor, Loki landing on top. He then pulled out his gun and pushed it into Mortis' back.

"so much for blades only"retorted mortis. "you seem to rely on ranged weapons and firearms to make a kill." mortis said as he let out a jackknife rotating throw, foot on loki's chest and wrist blade in his right shoulder-in the precise spot to easily immobilize an arm-. " never assume that a gun to the back will cause a surrender". a shot could be heard as mortis' opponent's jackel fired towards his head, seeminglt passing straight through to the cieling. "speed compliments any good fighter you see. it can create the illusion of a hit while having none of the side effects"
