DJ didn't seem to notice Deej's look. She confidently said, "Yo, Deej! Use a swift! You can do it!"
So she was cheering her on. Deej sighed. Give her her show for once. She used a swift attack.

"Omanyte. A pokemon ressurected from a fossil using modern day science. Once swam the ancient seas."
She stroked her chin. Interesting.
"Okay then... Deej, go ahead and use a body slam!"
Deej rolled her eyes. Whatever. She lazily paced herself towards the omanyte, not attempting to hit.

The tentacles wrap around the eevee and squeeze. it can only hold it for so long before eventually the pokemon wriggles free...but it was long enough to do some damage

Darn, she was tired. Did she just realize this? She grunted, closing her eyes and sighing. And then he was...Hugged? Except it was a squeeze, and it hurt!
Deej struggled to get free, but once she was out of hold, she took her chance to lunge at the tentacles and bite them.
