Amelia paused in her anger towards Siegell and turned, smoothing down the skirt of her black dress. "Lyre! Awesome!" She smiled wide and hugged the cat laguz. "You look really nice in that! I love it." Amelia smiled brightly, brushing her own blonde hair off of her forehead. "Glad you came."

Abel's face face grew immediately red, when Alihi touched his shoulder. "Eheh... w-will do! Yeeah, I'm a little hungry again, so um, I'll just go-OOO-" Abel almost tripped over the same chair as he turned around to walk over to the food table again. "-over here and get something... heh..." Oy....

Fire Dragon wasn't bothered by the flames, what with just his FEF name being plenty of evidence as to why he wouldn't be by itself, and so he used this fact to start conversing with Melethia as he and Nils approached her. "I must admit, I like it hot, but shouldn't those flames be put out?"

Tibarn showed up with punch and the most awesome shades in the world, which he took off and tucked into his jacket. "Hey, ladies," he chuckled to Lyre and Amelia, passing each of them a cup, and sipped from his own. "Lyre, you look fantastic, really... beorc-ish." He added, with a smirk, "Good thing I'm a fan of beorc, hmm?"

"Speaking of, Amelia, you look great, too. Either of you care to dance?" He twitched his wings and folded them, grinning.

Amelia turned her gaze over to Tibarn, taking his punch. "Thanks," she murmured, sipping from the cup. She refrained from commenting on his compliment to Lyre. She just sipped her punch again. When he spoke to her directly, she brushed a finger against her ear, her face burning a bright red again. "The dress was Lyre's idea... I do like it, though. Thanks." Amelia coughed once, holding the cup near her mouth to hide it. "Uhm... shouldn't you wait to dance with Ayra?" she asked curiously.

"So she did! Sorry, I must be terribly drunk from the martinis. Without Kaoru, I'd be stumbling over everything. So... are fire based tomes your favorite?" Fire Dragon replied, realizing he was more out of it than anyone else.

Lyre frowned, looking over the top of her own sunglasses. And mr. bigshot bird prince hands her a glass of punch?
...Well, he asked for it.
She threw the liquid in his face, crumpled the cup, and threw that at him for good measure.
"No, we would not like to dance." The laguz- LAGUZ AND PROUD, DAMMIT- pulled Amelia back inside along with her, linking their elbows together.
She did turn around however, to say simply:
"And yes, we look fantastic. Have fun looking and not touching~

Alihi giggled. "Alright..." Once he was gone, she leaned against a wall, hitting her head against it once. "... Hee hee..." She couldn't keep the grin off her face if she tried.
Nils smiled lightly and politely, giving FD's hand a light squeeze.
"He does seem a bit out of it..." Nils noted, a slight frown coming to his face momentarily.

Amelia watched with wide eyes as Lyre tossed the dark red fruit punch onto Tibarn's face, followed by her cup. "Uh." Amelia said hesitantly, not sure if she should defend Lyre or Tibarn. Both were her friends, after all, and she couldn't be sure that Tibarn had intended to insult her. But they are both beorc, so he'd know what would in--
She cut off her internal monologue as Lyre pulled Amelia beside her, linking her arm through hers. Amelia stumbled a step, then fell into pace to keep from being literally dragged.
Amelia turned her head to look over at the now-dripping Tibarn, a sheepish look on her face. She said nothing, just brushed her hand against the back of her dress to smooth it down before awkwardly putting her high heels back on.

"Most wouldn't be, you're right." Fire Dragon took swigs from martinis in his free hand that never seemed to empty between sentences. "But maybe next time there's a party or something lively happening. Maybe there'll be something that requires a massive pit of fire."
Fire Dragon was losing his balance, even with support from Nils. "Oh Kaoru, I'm gonna be a hot mess by the time this party is over. I'm sorry to put you through my drinking."
