two words..... naked time.... (the time when we all change into our regular clothes from our uniforms) after that, we listen to a very wide assortment of music, ranging from the likes of the numa numa song, to piano man... eye of the tiger included...then there is the trophy passing, from the front of the bus to the back.... (we've been undefeated for 2 seasons so far). so... yea... you kinda have to be on the bus to get the whole naked time thing... nobody actualy gets naked... or... at least.... i hope not... but, as one of the freshman from last year said, we've seen every other person in the band at least half naked, and we're as close as any family could possibly be... the bus rides just bring us closer together...

on the flute bus for marching we all sing silly songs!!!!!!!!!!! yes we are the coolist BAnd flutes around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
On the regular trips, HYPERNESS! everyone brings candy, soda, and just about anything that contains suger. As long as we don't make a mess or jump out the window, the teachers dont care! candy anyone?

ahhh the bus rides... got to love them got to hate them...
so once my bd desided to take school buses without a traler (well we had the instument traler) for our overnight that was about 3 hrs away we had to pile our stuff in the front.... it was crazy... nobody was happy with her... evil scream

Omg Band Bus Rides Are Why I'm in Band!! I have so many pictures one is of four people all stuffed in one bus seat it was funny... well anyway on our bus rides we usually have sing alongs that annoy the heck out of everyone, so one time we decided to have a rave instead lol, I brought a head light and a guy I know just started it it was great! heart ninja heart

We don't consider it to be a true band trip unless one of the buses breaks down. Usually the one that holds the uniforms does it.

OMG!! we went to augusta for a football game right? on the way up there the 1st bus broke down!! we took 3 buses and we had to combine my bus wiht the other 2 buses and we ended up being 15 minutes late to the game. on the ride home, our bus driver got lost and we totally went to SOUTH CAROLINA!!! that was definately the highlight of my freshmen marching band season!! oh man we broke soooooo amny rules on that trip!! technically we were supposed to segregate the buses so that the guys were on one bus and the girls on the others but we ended up not..... oh man it was great!!

Every band trip some body's pants go missing on the trip. Freaking awesome. We squirt cheerleaders too with squirt guns smile They are so clueless sometimes

funny story, on a bus trip my frosh year, i brought mad libs (totally fun stuff) and i sat around doing them with my friend for a while, when Willy (baritone) decided he wanted to play. so he took over, and the whole back of the bus played. and, being band kids, we uh...filled the blanks in with dirty words... it was soo much fun. and when we were done, willy made everyone promise not to tell anyone cause he didnt wanna get kicked out. and he took the book with him so no one would show anyone! i hope he doesnt ever see this!

A usual bus ride usually starts with everyone getting on the bus and shoving everyone elses stuff all over the place.The the back of the bus goes to sleep and the front plays cards or something. By some weird sort of sixth sense the people on the back half always wake up right about the time the adults go to sleep.
Our drum line captain and his girlfriend start making weird noises and the blanket they're sharing starts to move (very scary if you know them). A trumpet player (male) and a saxephone player (male) begin rolling around in the seat they're sharing and making animal noises.
One of my friends starts to whine because another one of my friends is falling asleep again. Whenever he goes to sleep he sorta pins her to the seat or something (which is very awkward when they wake up).
I, of course, sit in the back but I Just sit and watch everyone else until about midnight when the band director wakes up and shines his cellphone in peoples faces while making ocean sounds. Usually we hasve to make a bathroom stop afterwards.
It get's stranger but I don't really want to go into the rest of it wink

Lol, after our county show (we don't go to competitions) we did a strip show in the front of the bus to our show music. We had half of the band girls stripping with us. (We did Pirates of the Carribean for our show....duh duhduh DUH duh duh DUH duhduh DUH *ish pantomiming taking off her suspenders*) The Drum Major was stripping too, and the BD put in her in charge because she was "responsible"....

lol i hope none of the ppl involved see this cuz wat happens on bus 1 stays on bus 1...lol anywayz i was sittin in the very back of the charter bus w/ my boyfriend and its jus 2 seats...in front its kinda like a restaraunt booth on both sides...and my 2 friends were bored and they were like lets start flashing and all the guys got all exctited...well jus my luck that wen i thought they were done i turned back around and caught one of them... burning_eyes omg then she saw me and we busted out laughin!
btw it was all black ppl in that part of the bus and one white dude and i always tease him that he goes after black girls now rofl

pretty much every trip is crazy.
Freshman year Stories:
Cheer leaders came on our bus and took our seats, so we threatened them with nakedness. Pretty much all boys stripped down to boxers and ran back to them and just started shaking all up in front of them. Got them out pretty damn fast :]
We wrote signs to truckers like "Nice beard" and "shave your face" just weird little ones lol but some trucker guy did a really creepy smile and wave to us and we basically sat down really slowly, turned to the front and just laughed the rest of the way lol.
Another one was a dark ride back, we had people around us so everyone just started mooning out the windows at everyone lol. The bus driver had no idea what was going on :]
Lets see, another from fresh year was when we had water guns in the back and just did an all out attack on the cheer leaders. They wont ever ride our bus again :] they were complete bitches to us so we were just paying them back.
sophmore year:
So you see, our band goes to victoria to march every year and we always drive, we pretty much had some more nakedness going on, and pokemon battles galore. Then the front of the bus had a competition with us kids in the back [mostly brass kids, the crazy section :] But we love ourselves ] to see who could disgust the chaperones first. we won :]
Also more bubble wars insued on the bus lol.
junior year:
pretty much sophmore year repeated lo
Senior year:
Is gonna be nuts :] My friend and I are leaders of pep band/marching band this year :] Im so excited haha

Crazy Bus rides........ if u want 2 knO about crazy bus rides, talk to people from Henry County Kentucky........... We SING RANDOM SONGS (the ants go marching in M.B. style) and do CRAZY things to each other.
one year on our way back from a concert band festval, (the traffic was heavy) our bus hit the back of a semi parked in the middle of the hyway without a driver.

I was on the same bus as the guard and preccusion last year.. it was pretty great lol
they are crazy...
lots of noise, bodily functions, and sexual jokes...
