{What's wrong Ryn? D:}

Yet another good question he flung her, the boy just seemed to be full of them for once. Rin herself didn't know the true reason behind the war, but she had her guesses. "It's probably because of the events we caused in the last war. It just couldn't take getting destroyed so many times over, so the fragments left behind must be going haywire." Or something close to that. The war was only supposed to happen once in a life time for a magi, and yet Rin had lived through three now, each get shorter because someone destroyed the grail. So this must be the cause.

{ Many things, Ren. > w< }

He wondered for a moment what she would say; his own theories coming into play but none of them really registering on his decent list. They seemed a bit far-fetched when he thought them over again, which was why he refrained from having said anything in the first place. When Rin voiced her opinion however, it seemed to have sent an odd wave of pain throughout his body. The reason the war was here… was his fault? So many times over; he was wrong, it was his family’s fault. His father first and then Shirou, himself. His body fell back and rest against the wall of a building as he took that into consideration. How could he accept that he had changed the course in which the Holy Grail War began? If it continued like this, would he be subjugated to fighting in this war every time? “It’s basically our fault then…” When he said ‘our’, he was more or less speaking to Saber. She had been his father’s servant anyways, so she was as much apart as this as anyone.

The conclusion that both her and Rin had come up with upon her summoning. The tainted grail that continued to run about and summon servants even after its destruction. Even if Shirou spoke using the 'our' part, Saber saw it to be directed more at herself. Both times that the grail had been destroyed, it was her own blade that did it sure. Sure the fist time through she hadn't wanted to, and was forced by command. Yet in the fifth grail was that was what she wished to do.

Her face and eyes averted from the other two as she didn't see it fit to look at them right now. Maybe there was another way around it, a more difficult path like what her former master used to take. But no, Saber had decided to take the easy route and blast away without even thinking of what might happened afterwards. "Basically..." It was the only word she could say.

Hm… so this was their fault then. More or less, it might have simply been as Shirou believed in the first place. His family’s fault. His father had brought forth the destruction of the Holy Grail in the fourth war and Shirou had done the very same in the last war. They had begun the… tradition of sorts and it seemed Saber was a part of that very tradition, herself. Of course there had been a difference perhaps in the fact that Saber’s decision to want to destroy the Holy Grail had changed between the fourth and fifth wars. Whether that played any part in this however, was slim in Shirou’s opinion. He wondered however, if Saber thought the same way as he? His eyes fell upon her, yet her own gaze was averted from both Rin and he, himself. Of course she would take it upon herself to take the blame for this. It could hardly be considered as such though as he pushed himself away from the wall and stood before her. ”This isn’t your fault, Saber.”

"It is more so my fault then your own." She still refused to look at him while she spoke. If he was trying to free her of her burden and shove it on his own shoulders, well, she wouldn't allow him to do such a thing. No matter what he said the blonde wouldn't be thinking any differently on this matter. Both grails were formed when she was around, and both had been destroyed by her in some fashion. How could it not be her fault?

He smiled and shook his head. She really had not changed at all, had she? He wasn’t surprised in the least that she was still holding onto her ideals, very much like he was in some way or another. “You know as well as I do, that the fault is not yours. My dad forced you the first time and you know that. The second time, we both agreed that was what had to be done. What was for the best.” He smiled slightly as looked down at her. She still couldn’t look at him, could she? What did she think would happen if she were to gaze into his eyes? “If I remember correctly anyways, I used the last of my command mantras to order you to destroy the grail. The fault would actually lie with me… but you won’t listen to that will you?”

As much as he wished she would listen to him, she was perhaps the most difficult person to convince when it came to these things. He sighed mainly out of trying to contain his slight laughter and finally he felt himself able to touch her as he stepped closer and hugged her. “I think you could be fair to agree that the fault is on both of our shoulders, here.” His joking tone aside, Shirou did consider himself the source of the problem and just as quickly as hug came, he let his arms fall as he stared down at her; a more serious, yet still pained look within his eyes.

No matter how many times she spoke that with different words used, she wasn't going to believe it. While this was all going on, she wondered why Rin had yet to stop it. Did the woman not care to speak up in fear of her own blame being brought into question. Her eyes glanced to the young Tohsaka, seeing her looking to the ground lost in thoughts with a small scowl. Her mouth opened a bit to talk to her before she soon found another body awfully close to her own.

"S-shirou..?" She hadn't been expecting to suddenly been hugged. Her hands remaining plastered to her side as she began to feel the warmth around her from this embrace. Was she supposed to move and return the affection? Or just let it pass like old times? It didn't matter that much later as he moved away once more. "Mhmn." She merely nodded, a small tinge of red now splashed onto her cheeks.

Had she not been expecting his hug? He was a bit surprised himself, but it was both a combination of him simply missing her as well as him trying to help her understand how hard headed, she was being on the matter. He was happy to know that she finally agreed with him though. IF all it took was a hug for her to open up to his ideas, then he would do so each and every time, the situation called for. “It’s nice to know you finally agree with me.” His gaze turned away from the blonde knight and fell upon Rin who hadn’t spoken up in all of this. Well it didn’t really concern her much, that was true, but she still was a part of what was going on. “Are you okay, Tohsaka?” He had noticed the scowl upon her face; now it seemed like she was the one who felt out of place, though maybe he was being a bit hopeful on the matter… no that wasn’t true. He didn’t think like she did. He wasn’t the type to want her to be left out no matter how much she tortured him.

"I-i never said I agreed!" Saber huffed out her indifference, hands on her hips, with what little show of pride she could pull off. It didn't work to well to her advantage though considering her was still showed off how flustered she was. "Hn." Her eyes turned to look at Rin then, wondering if something was indeed wrong with her. "Rin..." Due to the little bond they now had she at least knew her discomfort wasn't because of being left out of the conversation. It was because of something she was deep in thought about.

The whole grail war that was now started had been caused by all that were currently present here. A magician with the plan, a master with the command seals, and a servant to carry it all out. If she'd know this was going to be the cause of what they believed to be good, she would have told Shirou to instead with for the grail to be purified. A hopeful idea but she knew he'd have wished instead for Saber to stay, and then that would have caused its own troubles. What a pain this was all becoming now, and her she'd hoped London would help fix that.

"Huh..?" Rin was snapped from her trains of thought when both of the other two near her asked about her. The knight with her pained look of concern, and Shirou with his confusion. "Yeah, I'm just fine." She made the sentence sound strong to trick them into relaxing while she moved away from the wall, for some reason standing still at the moment made her feel disgusting...

Shirou simply smiled at Saber’s indifference and shrugged lightly. “It was as close as I’ll ever come to you agreeing with me on something like this. I didn’t hear you disagree.” She could not disagree to that much at the least. Her flustered face brought a slight tinge to his cheeks as well as he kept his eyes on Rin. His head tilted slightly as she did not seem to hear him at first; lost in thought, was she? Was she still thinking of Shirou’s previous question then? Did she believe there to be more to it than what she had said aloud to the red head? It made him slightly curious as Saber’s slight response, before saying Rin’s name seemed to confirm this much.

It took another moment before Rin suddenly lifted her head in response to their concern. Just fine was she? Somehow, Shirou couldn’t believe that. None of them were just fine with this. That much was as clear as day as Shirou and Saber had just shown. It was now showing upon Rin as he lowered his gaze slightly. This was their problem now… the three of them as it had been in the last war. Without Rin, Shirou would not have been able to stop Kotomine. It almost seemed as if again, they were responsible for how this war would end. Was that their purpose in being summoned forth again to the Sixth War? "Is this war our responsibility to end..."

She could only pout on more when hearing that. True, she'd slipped up and not stated that. But she didn't want to agree or disagree with the male. This of course left her neutral but venerable to his onslaught of words. Saber would just ignore him for now and set all forms of attention onto Rin, her master would enjoy that anyway.~

"Or at least stop servants from appearing." The war could continue on however it liked. As long as some servant didn't come along that could best Saber in combat Rin could care less. What she feared most was meeting Archer once more, or even the Gilgamesh character none of them liked. They would both cause great problem, though Avalon might be able to solve that as well. Hm. She just had to not lose her servant or her life, sounded easy enough.

There was a slight hint of humor by Saber’s pout. She was as cute as he remembered… remembering such made him smile. He could not help but look at her for those brief seconds; yet Rin’s words cut through his train of thought. It was a moment or two before he lowered his gaze, the smile still upon his face. He wished he could have reached out and touched her, yet it could not be helped. While Rin was around… while Rin was her master, she was off-limits. Shirou had needed to remember that. He could not allow his feelings to better himself, especially as they were speaking of more important matters. His eyes turned towards the magi as her words finally registered in his head.

Stop the servants from appearing. That was her solution to this? Shirou could not help but stare at her perplexed for a moment. His hands reaching into his pockets, as he tried to understand the logic behind that. Was it even possible for such to work? What was it that worried Rin about more servants appearing? He could not help remember Gilgamesh… he could understand why she would not wish for him to return, but Saber could best him when the time came. He frowned slightly as he wondered whether this was more centered on her last servant… Archer. She did not wish for him to return… or perhaps she was simply afraid of what might come from it. “What can be done about the servants, present already?” His gaze lingered for a moment; did Rin believe they would be no problem? Did she believe him not to be a problem? “What do you plan to do about me, Tohsaka?” He smiled and found himself curious on two different approaches. Would they work together, or would they fight against each other?

It seemed the Emiya boy was looking for a plan that had yet to even form in her mind, typical. She sighed, stretching her limps a bit as she walked over to where Saber was now standing. "I'll just blow them all away.~" Rin replied with a small perk of happiness while resting her hand lightly on her knight's shoulder. The present servant's would just be taken out the old fashion way by her blonde power house. They had yet to test how strong she actually was, but with the Tohsaka as a master, they were a group to be feared.

"Hm?" Her interest was peeked then by his next question. What was she to do about him? There was the thought of making another alliance type deal with the male, but his servant seemed a little to sketchy for her liking right now. "I don't know, but I'll think on it. For now you'll just be neutral in my mind unless you decide to push the wrong buttons.~" Like attacking her or doing stuff upon the ground of the city marked as her lands that she didn't find enjoyable. It such happened she would send her little Saber out to attack, and she knew the servant would be reluctant, but wouldn't object. That's right, she carried one of his greatest weaknesses with her at all times, and she wasn't afraid to use it either.

It didn’t surprise Shirou much to hear Rin’s response. In actuality, it allowed his smile to grow even more as he shook his head simply and glanced away from her. His eyes wandering away from the magi and servant as he glanced towards the sky; so she would simply blow them away, would she? Was that not her attitude in the previous war as well? Of course, she did have Saber now, didn’t she? Why wouldn’t she be confident? A small laugh escaped him as he took that in for a moment. It was amazing to see how much more arrogant, Rin had seemed to get now that she had the servant of her dreams. Not that he minded it… to be honest, Shirou thought it rather entertaining. Despite the difficulty that came along with her, he had actually missed Rin as well. His small laugh died out as he allowed his hand to run through his hair. “And then it will simply be you versus me, right?” It was an odd concept to imagine; them being the last two magi… against each other, though to be honest; Shirou could care less about who was to win the war. ‘As long as it’s done properly this time…’

His head tilted in her general direction as she seemed to take a moment to consider a proper way to answer his question. Had that caught her off guard, perhaps? It was an interesting thought and one that could not go without thought; they had been through a lot… the three of them. There was a lot more to this friendship than just the simplicities that a normal life would grant people. Shirou supposed if that were to be taken into consideration, he could know how Rin would respond, but times had changed. Perhaps Rin had changed; maybe she had truly only hung around Shirou during the last war, because Saber was around. How that left a bitter taste to him; he attempted to place those kinds of thoughts aside, before hearing Rin’s voice break the short silence. ‘Neutral, huh?’ Shirou had a feeling he knew what she meant by pushing the wrong buttons; was she worried about his servant then? Always analyzing every little detail, Rin was. He would have missed that little fact if it wasn’t being used against him. He wondered though… if he was to push the wrong buttons, would she attack him. “Do you plan on getting rid of me, if I do push your buttons, Tohsaka~?” He joking tone presented itself again as his eyes fell upon the blonde servant. It wouldn’t be that easy… for neither side. At least, that was how Shirou saw it. Maybe he was wrong; perhaps Rin would wipe him from the war with a snap of her fingers.

“Would you like to meet my servant now, Tohsaka?” He knew of her concerns and he would rather erase them now, than have to deal with such trivial problems later. If Rin had not learned by now to trust the red head, then there would only be greater complications later. He doubt they could afford to have that.

"If you're still around by then, then yes." It wasn't meant as an insult towards the Emiya boy, nor as her disregarding his strength. She just wasn't going to promise on such foolish things when anything was bound to happen in the war. For all she knew he could be taken out in the next two days, or magical it could be heard. The latter of the two she doubted greatly. If someone did come to fight her and Saber, well, she'd fight tooth and nail to keep this servant. Her mind wondered on that a bit, why exactly would she put so much effort into keeping the blonde? She'd have to think more on that later, it had to be more then just having the servant of her dreams and a friend.

As Shirou continued to talk her eyes glanced and found themselves planted on the servant that was currently boggling her mind. There had to be more behind why she was so attached to Saber.. Gah.What happened to thinking about this later? Thankfully she was snapped out of these thoughts by her lovely male savior again. "You push my buttons and I'll make you regret it Emiya.~" The woman purred evilly to the other as her eyes trained on him again. How much fun it would bring her to do so. First things first, she'd examine him, his type of magic, projection, she wished to know how it worked.

Saber smiled a small bit, taking comfort in the hand on her shoulder and also the discussion going on around her. Even after these three years nothing much seemed to really change. When it came to her master's standpoints, she had to agree as well. If Shirou slipped up, neither female would have a problem with taking him down; though she'd be reluctant towards it. "Would that be wise Shirou?" The blonde asked while glancing a little at Rin, for some reason she felt like the other had been staring at her. Back to the subject now. If his servant was to show, how did they know she wouldn't try to attack?
