I made vegetable soup. O_o
Vegetable whatever soup.
With...... green peppers that really needed to be eaten. The remains of the carrots, a small onion that had to be eaten up, the castoffs of celery that had been put in the freezer for exactly this purpose, some garlic, and some wrinkled potatoes.
Basically *I have to eat this somehow before it goes bad* Soup. XD
It's not bad. I just put enough water in to cover, about half a pot, cooked until the carrots and potatoes were pliable, put it in the blender to make it more smushy. And like 3 chicken bullion cubes? Yeah. For a bit of flavour.
It's pretty good, the potatoes and green peppers make it like..... more concentrated, because there was a bit too much water.
S'good because it's a good serving of vegetables in one bowl, and it tastes just as good cold as it does hot, since it's been so hot lately. :3

I was sick as a dog last night, it was horrid. x_x I feel much better now. I think my system just needed a purge from eating so much junk this week. Which brings me to the point: I need to eat better. More fruit/salads and stuff, and much less fast food.
Today so far all I've had is a bowl of cereal and an english muffin, but... well, I guess I just want to say I gotta start eating better. XD
Like Monday: two pieces of cheese pizza, lotsa chips, a chocolate covered banana ( biggrin ) Tuesday: McD's French Fries and movie Popcorn. Wednesday: Ramen soup, grilled cheese, more chips.
I have a problem. x_x Gimme summa dat soup, Cass.

You has serious problem. D:
Come live with me, I don't allow that stuff in my house anymore. :3 I haven't eaten fastfood in ages. No chips..... nothin'. :3
D< IF YOU WEREN'T SO PICKY ABOUT FOOOOODDDD! D<
I'll make you eat enough vegetables in a day with my clever additions to meals (Adding a can of mixed vegetables to canned soup, for example, or including a bit of fruit on a waffle for breakfast, or having it set in the fridge for snacking)
A glass of orange juice with breakfast goes a long way, so does having an apple for a snack rather than chocolate or somethin'. :3
You should eat more and regularly. Three times a day, ever four hours, whatever.
I don't really pay attention to what I eat I guess.........
I had leftover pizza for breakfast, some grapefruit slices, a slice of cheese, and my soup.
Usually I'll get up and grab a graham cracker square or an orange, just munch on it. S'actually better eating little things, little bits, more often. I'm not really hungry in the evening until about seven or so.
And I almost always eat granola for breakfast. Granola oatmeal, granola cereal. I have dried fruit that is REALLY, REALLY Good that I snack on. TI's so sweet, almost better that chocolate.
I am so thankful for those food stamps, because without them I don't know what I'd do. v_v
But yeah. It's the matter of it mattering enough for you to make the conscious decision on what to eat and what not to, being aware that what you eat's bad, that you're eating too much.
Depensd on your determination too. :3
Which reminds me, I need to go bike riding. D< It helps so much, but it's been so hot lately. D:

Mmmm. *Steals some chicken*
:3
I made a grilled banana and peanut butter sandwich for the first time ever, and I have to say it was DELICIOUS.
Maybe it's because I used whole wheat bread, but it tasted just like banana bread- with a bit of peanut butter with it. :3 Haha! I ran out of Jif and only had the icky-er Aldi's stuff, but it was still delicious.
I had a banana with pb last night and looked up 'Bananas and peanut butter' randomly on google, and saw that sandwich, and realized I'd never had one before.
I think it would taste even better if made with white bread, thinner middle stuffs, and fried in bacon grease instead of butter.
Omfg, Elvis had it right, so hard.

So I just made meatpies. And I hope they turn out well. (They're in the oven.)
I've been making muffins recently... and they turn out hella good. Though Mich doesn't like them. She says they have too much blueberry. Lame!

OMFG DID YOUR MEAT PIES TURN OUT GOOD? O_o
And I want your muffin, Janine. biggrin I WANT TO EAT ONE OF YOUR MUFFINSSSSS.
Blueberries are good.
SO HERE IS MY RECIPE OF THE WEEK-
Jello no-bake oreo pie.
MAKE IT LIKE THE RECIPE.
FOLD IN A HALF A CUP OF PLAIN YOGURT.
Makes it a bit richer, plus the pie tends to have this taste to it that kind of burns your tongue after a bit. The yogurt makes the pie a bit sweeter, gives it a better texture and taste. Don't add too much or it'll be too sour.
But anyways, it makes it taste cheesecake-y without having to add the cream cheese- hence it's healthier! And it buffs up the filling so you can have more with each slice. ;D

Godfrey Potter-Lockhart OMFG DID YOUR MEAT PIES TURN OUT GOOD? O_o
They turned out delicious, actually! : D I used to run a food blog so let me map out my recipe all fancy like. Ingredients: 1 lb hamburger meat 2 cups potatoes, cubed 1 cup carrots, sliced 1 packet of onion soup mix 2 teaspoons cornstarch 1/2 cup cold water 2 cups self-rising flour 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream butter pepper salt
1. Put potatoes and carrots into a pot, and pour in enough water to cover the vegetables. Add in a pinch of salt and cook them to your preference (usually about 20 minutes). Drain the water and set aside for the moment. 2. Add some butter to a large skillet and then put in the hamburger meat, cooking it until it is brown. 3. Add the carrots, potatoes, and onion soup mix to the meat. Add in a little water (about 1/4 cup, if even that much). 4. Add in the cornstarch and the rest of the water, then let simmer on low heat. 5. In a large bowl, mix the flour and heavy whipping cream together. Then, sprinkle some flour on the counter and take the dough out from the bowl. Roll it out with a rolling pin and use a small glass or biscuit cutter to cut out small biscuits. 6. Take out a muffin tin. Use some of the leftover flour that you didn't cut into biscuits to put on the bottom of each muffin tin, making sure it is rather thin--not too thin, but not too thick. 7. Add in a good spoonful of the meat mixture into each tin. Then put the small biscuits cut on top of the biscuits with meat. 8. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 400 F, or until biscuits are golden brown. ENJOY. heart

I AM ADDICTED TO THESE

OMFG. I bought some just to try them, and I've been trying to stay away but they're almost all gone. x3
THEY ARE SO GOOD! The pretzels remind me of these raelly good round pretzels I had that were butter flavoured, and caused an ORGASM IN MY MOUTH.
And the cheese filling is really good too. :3
Also-
I bought Pringles Mozzarella stick and marinara potato chips, as well as the 'bloomin' onion' flavoured ones.
NYAAAAAAAAH SO GOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD.
The onion ones taste more like horseradish, but they're still REALLY GOOD. *NOMS*
And I like the mozzarella ones too. 8D
*NOMS NOMS NOMS*
Ho shi- and I bougth a 6 pack of hersheys candy bars for $1.47. O_o
It's $1.09 for ONE bar down at the gas stations! D:
So I was like 'YES. HELL YES'
Thank god, now my murderous rampages will cease. ^_^
