Selenia smiled over at Fayra, "It's okay I have your wings I can put a spell around them so that your wings are less of a target," she said offering gently. When she heard the rustling around in the bushes she grabbed her scythe and started to whisper a spell. She wasn't about to let her friends get killed by some stupid villager. Especially if it was one of the villagers that she had just saved. She started to growl at the person.
When the person said thank you her growling quieted. She wasn't really sure what was going on. "If we had wanted to enslave you and claim this territory don't you think we would have just let the zombies eat you and claim the territory," she said coldly. "We don't just save people to make them suffer," she said hissing through her teeth. It was the kind of people that lived in this village that always ran her out of town, and made it so that she would have to start over. "What did you need our help with," she asked the mortal quietly watching what was going on around them. For all she knew they could be gathering villagers around them right now to kill them.

The man could tell he wasn't welcome. He tryed to make this fast.
" You were good at stopping those creatures. But where my brother lives, theres a thing living in their lake and the river attached. Its just been comming up out of the water and gobbling people up. They dont know how to stop it, its eaten almost a dozen people." he said frantically.
" You havn't tryed harpooning the sunova gun?..." Leprosey asked with a sarcastic look. The man didn't seem to understand the joke.
" Well, yes. They cant seem to kill it, and anyone who trys seems to end up dead."
" ...... Sounds like you dont have a very good idea of what it is..." she gave an aggravated sigh.
" Im sorry, but I know its a water-dwelling monster...." he said appoligetically.
" Kitty hates water...." Leprosey than looked away, as if distracted with a thought.

"Um, so are asking for our help, when your people want to kill us." Fayra questioned quietly. She looked at him trying to figure him out.

Selenia looked over at Leprosey. "It's up to you Leprosey, I'm not a huge fan of water... but that's probably because people have tried to drown me before," she said coldly looking over at the man. "How long has this monster been attacking the village, and can you give your word that your brother's people won't kill us," she said watching the man very carefully. She would know if he was lying to any of them.
"Be very careful with what you say sir, I will know if you're lying," she said quietly through her fangs. She would attack if necessary to protect them all. She really didn't trust humans.

"Sounds like a Mokle Water-Demon." Runeoth said suddenly, "Actually it sounds like a swarm of them, not hard to get rid of." Runeoth shrugged and went back to swirling his runes round.

" I dont want to put any of you on the spot, but I think we should go as soon as possible." she looked from them to the man sternly.
" Now, you.... Trust me when I say we are reeeeeeallly sick of people were trying to save hate our guts....."
He stepped back. " Oh no. Im not going to lie though, they could be hesitant, but I assure you if you slay the beast, their hostility will dwindle greatly." he gave a serious expression.
" Well... fine. Its not like I cant track you down by yur scent and set my friend to do horrid things to you....... Whoops, I said that outloud....." she smiled faintly. " But we still need to rest, maybe bathe..... think I go flesh in my hair."
" Thank you, you wont be dissapointed..." he smiled and walked away.

Fayras wings were stiff, she had been lieing curled up in them all night. She got up and started at the fire. She placed the logs together and hit some rocks to get a spark. She warmed up and went to find some food.

She looked left and right as she woke up. She was very glad to see everyone was still around and hadnt left because of her poor choices.
" Alright, didn't have that god-aweful dream about sparkling bubble-vampires..... Thank you posessed jerky...." she snickered to herself.
She suddenly noticed Fayra was gone, she just assumed she'd be back and walked over to get the fire put it. They had to start traveling soon if they wanted to get somewhere.
