Derek Keebler The Skoo but wait... Who wants to be an ewok? domokun smile *raises hand* Question: I'm trying to get text to fade in, get some other text to fade in, and then get them to stay for a litle while and then fade out. and then it starts over after the background sits for a second. I copied a picture off the internet and pasted it on photoshop and it made a whole new layer. I wanted it to be the background. How do I make it the background? I know nothing about the fireworks program.... crying sorry... But I can help you with photoshop. If you want the picture you pasted to be the background, go ahead and paste it in. It will automatically go to the second layer. To merge them, all you have to do is go up to the command bar thingy with file, edit, image, ect. and click on Layer. There should be a command at the bottom of the dropdown thing that says, "Merge layers" or "Merge down" and that will do what you want it to do. If you have more than two layers, you'll have to click "flatten image" to merge everything. Everything will look the same, they'll just all be part of the backgrond layer. Anything else? whee

Then you're going to see a little "opacity" percentage thing on the layer window... you can screw with that.. and it should change the opacity of your text. It works with all layers... so... ^.^ Yeah.

Meushi Derek Keebler Thanks to The Skoo, I made my first Photoshop/ Imageready Pic!!! Nice!! What;s it for? I made it because in English, we read Anne Frank's diary and it was really heart breaking. One of the things she wrote was "I shall not remain insignificant" and it makes me realize that no one is insignificant and that everything someone does changes everything.
