My school is thinking about doing Aladdin or some other Disney movie. It's gonna be hard to top our batman theme from last year though!

We don't know our theme yet. But we have two pieces of our music out of four. It is being written especially for us. At the beginning the band will be behind these huge canvases. The color guard will be painting on the canvases! We are going to be doing quite a lot of show style stuff but we aren't there yet. The clarinet music is super easy. My friend is really excited about the drum stuff.

Dang already marching 09 is here hahaha well our theme next year is "were the wild things are" Ironic the movie is coming out in the same time XD

Our theme this year is from the movie Drumline. x3
Some of the songs I know that we're doing is the YMCA, Boogie Wonderland...
And since I never saw the movie, I don't know the rest. I guess I should brush up on that, lol.
Last year though was pretty awesome, we did KISS.
It was
1) Shout it out loud
2) Beth
3) Detroit Rock City
4) Rock and Roll All Night.
It got stuck in my head soooo bad, I started doing the routine everytime I heard a kiss song outside of school. =P

Our theme was decided between Heros and Villians, or Journeys.
Journeys won BIG TIME.
Last year, we did a southern rock theme...
Sweet Home Alabama.
Crazy.
Devil went down to Georgia.
So far, we know that we are going to be playing Anyway you want it.
It sounds really really good so far.
Can't wait till next year! XD

This year we're gonna do a Billy Joel show. We Didn't Start The Fire, Piano Man, and some others.
It's really fun. One of the songs is even classical-ish. x3

Well Marching only started now here in Hawaii and I heard our director say something about a pirates theme..idk but i'm excited for Full band Camp..getting ready to march and have no life pirate

The Classics.
My BD refuses to do any modern culture ones anymore since judges hate them D:
So our songs are In the Hall of the Mtn King, Habanera from Carmen, and New World Symphony.
And I don't have ITHOTMK yet since the BD went on vacation, and NWS is HARD x_x.

That sounds so cool! Performing a show with completely original music...it wouldn't be any different than my school's shows normally are, since other than this year, we've played really uncommon music. xd
