The girl seemed to brighten more, "Thanks, I brought Flowers for Algernon, Water for Elephants and Circus of the Damned. Circus is the third one in the Anita Blake series, but it sort of restarts a bunch of things, so it makes a lot of sense. That's the one i started on too." She had a tendency to ramble when it came to books and other topics she loved.

"Flowers for Algernon was really sad," Aya said. "I love animals and it pains me when they're used for experiments or when they die." Aya was smiling. It made her happy to talk to someone who loved reading as much as she did.
((I think I'm gonna make Aya a vegetarian, though I'm not. I would go vegetarian, but I don't like vegetables very much. XD))

Ainsley nodded, "Yeah, I love animals too, but I think the saddest part was the man who knew that he was slowly losing his intelligence." She ran a hand through one of her pigtails, sighing. She couldn't help crying whenever she read the book, it reminded her of the first time she found it in her textbook, where it was hand written. That was the saddest thing she'd ever read.
((Lol, I've been a vegetarian for 3 years now, I never was much of a meat-eater so it wasn't that had of a transition for me. But now, I'm pretty unhealthy, so I'm thinking about going back to eating meat....the very idea disgusts me.))

((My sister's vegetarian. She's been a vegetarian for, oh, about 4 years at least.))
Aya nodded. "That part was sad. Knowing that he was losing intelligence and that he was going to die. It made me cry when I read it," she said.
(( crying Flowers for Algernon was really sad. I had to read it last year and I cried. I always have been sensitive.))

Krazy Michelle Ranak Dakota jumped when she heard a knock at the door. Quickly she rearanged papers on her desk to look like she had been doing something. In reality she had been sleeping on the desk. She shook out her head before standing to go to the door. She opened it slowly and poked her head around the door. She smiled slightly when she saw Yoh but it quickly disappeared. "Is everything done?" She opened the door all the way and walked back to her desk, obviously so he could come in if he wanted to. ((Aww! I just read the past few pages, and I feel so loved now! ^^))
"Mostly. They've all gone off to look for the killer." Yoh followed Dakota into her office, and ended up standing in front of her desk. "And I need an explanation. I have a few questions, and you have the answers. Bear with my ignorance." Yoh stared at Dakota, all signs of his usually carefree personality washed away. "Who is Jeremy, and why did he kill Steven?"
~!~
Anna stared blankly at Aya and Ainsley as they started talking about some book she had never read, and then quietly picked up half of Ainsley's deck and placed it upon her own. Then she spoke up. "I have no idea what you guys are talking about. You lost me when you started talking about books."
((Waaaugh! I'm the only person in this RP who isn't in high school yet! I can't complain, even though my teachers hate children! Pffuu...))

((What grade are you in?))
Aya looked at Anna. Anna had been so quiet that Aya had almost forgotten that she was there. She got that way when she talked about books. "Oh...Um...Yeah...Sorry," she said. "I-I always get a little carried away when talking about books."

((7th. I've been told it's the year of hell.))
"I noticed." Anna crossed her arms and leaned her head against the window. "Don't worry about it. Everyone has something they like." She didn't make eye contact as she spoke, staring out the window instead. She didn't seem angry, just upset in some way.

((Believe me: it IS the year of hell. I hated 7th grade. 9th grade is easier.))
Anna seemed a little upset. "Um... How about you two finishing your game," Aya said brightly. "I'd love to watch you two play the game."

((My 7th grade year wasn't that bad! I mean, my English teacher sucked, but other than that...no, it's my senior year that sucks. If you're going to take advance classes or be in governor's school apply for college as a junior!))
Ainsley bit her lip, feeling really guilty. "Anna?" she asked quietly, unsure of how to make it up to her.

((Yeah, so far it actually hasn't been so bad. Last year was a lot worse, because my English teacher was a b***h. They aren't so bad now, though I'm pretty sure some of them are racist. Thank god I'm white. -_-))
Anna turned her head so she was leaning the back of it on the window and facing the other two girls. "It's nothing. I was just thinking about something. Remembering, if you like. Memories tend to bother me. Not your fault." But the expression she had come into the car with was back. Not exactly cold. Emptier, in a way.

Ainsley's heart felt heavy. It was cruel of her to ignore her. It had happened to Ainsley quite a few times, so she understood the feeling. But Ainsley had promised herself that she'd befriend Anna. Her screw up set their budding friendship into the ground. She ran a hand through her hair, "Hey Anna...I was just wondering, if we have free time, would you mind teaching me some martial arts?" She was interesting in it, but never had the time...plus the fact that she was a klutz. She hoped that they'd be able to spend time together, so they could become friends.

((I hated my seventh grade year. I failed civics. Then I had my civics teacher in eighth grade. He started teaching world history the year I went into world history. XD Though I passed that class with an A. I loved Doc, my English teacher.))
"You do martial arts?" Aya asked.
