After retrieving the CD player she walked over to Matt again, "I can get that when someone in here hears somthing that reminds them of the past, and upsets them. So I'm sorry." Walking past putting a comforting hand on his shoulder momentarily as a 'it's alright' sign she made her way over to Hector. Slowly sitting down on the floor in front of him she started to put the CD in it's player talking, "So, how are you feeling?"

Hector nearly jumped out of his skin when someone touched him. He looked to see who it was. It was Kia. Hector sighed in relief and relaxed. "I'm not feeling too good... I feel like I can't talk... I'm nearly stuttering."

Kia nodded and thought, "It's probably a last minute reaction, since you ended up taking the pill some of it is in your system still. Hopefully it will pass, you might feel sick later. We can get Mike to put a laxative in whatever she eats this evening." said Kia with a grin picturing it.

Hector nodded. When he went to speak, he ended up stuttering. "Why d-d-does it suh-seem l-l-like yuh-hoo s-suddenly c-c-care all of a sudden?" (Why does it seem like you care all of a sudden?) It was a stupid question, but he wanted to know. To Hector, he thought Kia wanted to try and scare him.

Matt turned and nodded to Kia, "It's not your fault, I've learned to deal with it." He took a while picking out a CD, since the institution did not have the same type of music he listened to. Picking out a band that he had at least heard of, he took the disc to the nurse's desk, feeling silly to ask for a CD player. But he asked politely, and took it back to the chair they had already frequently retreated to. He turned his gaze towards Hector, so that the girls would know that he's doing okay.
Mattie wanted to go to comfort Hector as well, but she didn't want to make the mistake of assuming again. She'd barely met him, and he had flinched when Kia had touched him. She didn't have any right to scare him as she tried to comfort him.

Kia's eyebrows pulled together as she looked at him, "So I can't be a nice person anymore?" This was a joke of course, but deep down she knew after a while people got easily tired of knowing or even being around her. She had grown way too bitter in the hospital. "And anyway that could of gotten really serious really fast. Just wanted to check if you were alright. Seeming as you probably will be I'm going to take a seat over there." This was turning into too much of a social day for her as she pushed off the floor and moved to a chair far away from everyone. Relaxing back in the seat she put the headphones and started watching people again.

"It's okay f-for you to buh-be a nuh-nice p-person, but juh-just a while ago you s-s-seemed like to were s-scaring muh-me to d-death." When she left, he relaxed again, and closed his eyes. He wanted to get out of the hospital no matter what it took.

Mattie ignored the music flowing into her ears, letting Matt enjoy himself. Her eyes were on Hector, whom she hoped was okay. He looked better, but still upset. A part of her slowly realized that it probably was his normal state of mind. Quietly, she rose, starting towards him, her entire stance neutral. Her eyes flicked towards Kia, to make sure if was okay. They pleaded with her to forgive the earlier incident, and simply tell her. She was willing to listen.

Kia glanced over at her and shrugged before looking back towards the nurse's station. The song beat in her ears and she smiled watching the nurses work. They thought they were so might behind their desk and scrubs, but really they were no different from the patients they treated day to day.

Mattie nodded to Kia, resuming toward her destination. She paused near Hector, chewing on her lip. Kia may have told her it was okay, but it was Hector's opinion that mattered the most. "Um," she said softly, rarely speaking to those outside of her head, "Can I sit here?" she asked as she pointed to the plush chair beside him.

Mattie sat down slowly, trying to keep her manner as non-threatening as possible. Out of the four of them, Mattie was the sweetest, so she remained out. Giving him a shy smile, she asked, "How are you doing? I'm sorry that they did that to you. It was pretty scary." Mattie spent most of her time only talking to her mind-mates. If it was necessary to speak, Madeline did. So she was tremendously worried she would mess it up. Especially since everyone was giving suggestions at the same time.
It would probably be best if I come out--us guys can talk some You haven't talked to any guys. And watching TMNT is not enough. You should tell him you're there for him, we all are, and we'll kick the nurses but if it happens aga- No, no, no, You need to stay calm with him, and let him talk. When he is ready, he'll start on his own.

"I'm n-not d-doing so guh-good..." he managed to say. "I f-feel like thuh-they're m-making me rot f-from the inside out... I'm called a h-hopeless c-c-case. Whatever th-they do won't d-do anyth-thing..." Hector shook his head.

'Hopeless case' burned at the auburn's soul. She wondered how many years it had taken, to break him so much. She could feel the hatred Mad felt. She held the darker and more violent range of emotions. And the only reason Mattie did not try to attack the nearest nurse was because she could no longer truly fear it. Instead sadness welled up inside of her. Turning her cerulean eyes to the boy she opened her mouth, but closed it immediately when Madeline brought up the memory of Kia's teasing warning. Though she was desperately craved his story, she knew firsthand the effect some memories could have. Still wanting to help him some how, she asked softly, "Why do you still take the medicine they give you?" Surely, Kia had shown him the slip of hand as well.

"It c-calms me d-d-down." Hector felt like it wouldn't for much longer. More and more, he's starting to feel less of the effect. That was probably because he's been taking it for five years. And he's been in the loony bin for five years. Sooner or later, they'll send him to an asylum.
