New story for my character!

Setting: Modern-Day Gaia Universe.

SOA is a younger god from the group the governs the affairs of the universe. While technically immortal, his original form has no real substance to it and would appear as simply a human shaped white vapor aura. To achieve some actual tangibility, SOA makes due with inhabiting other objects and governing them with his own will. His favorite group of objects to inhabit appear to be evolving items, possibly because of the diversity they give. He can assume human form, although it appears to put too much stress on him and is usually short-lived.

Many years ago, SOA had been temporarily banished from the cosmos because of his personality being incompatible with the other deities; mostly he'd be cracking jokes, while the elder gods would be trying to get tasks accomplished, causing disharmony amongst the group. Eventually this got him booted, and SOA managed to come across the Savage Arts guild, in which he was eventually recruited, although perhaps reluctantly on the part of the current members.

SOA has calmed down gradually since joining, although he can still be a nuisance sometimes. He likes to think of himself as the guild demolitions specialist, aiming to be the go-to guy when it comes to anything destructive or weapon-based at all, but all this is self appointed and holds no real standing. He's willing to help out in whatever way he can, and it'll simply be a matter of time to see where his true calling is for the guild.

Once an angel of light and reasoning, descendant of the god Apollo, I had decided to sacrifice my immortality in exchange for a chance to gain new knowledge as a mortal.
In my new body, I retain my usual unemotional personality of logic and reasoning, but occasional I'm overcome by human emotions. Overall I find it's a great new experience and I've learned many things that I'll be able to take with me when I return to the heavens, but hopefully that won't be for a long time. (As some of you may have noticed, I haven't changed my avatar for five years. As a being that finds his heart bound by structure and stability, I don't like change.)
As a human, I love to laugh, and find physical pleasure tantalizing and by that I of course mean food. I still enjoy the same pastimes I did as an angel: Chess, and all its variations (including Go) and I've even taken a career as a programmer.

Setting:
'The World'
A fantasy continent with 5 basic races: Humans, Shadowers (a gothic people with dark powers), Wind-Riders (humans with elemental power over the wind), Life Keepers (peace-keeping humanoid wolves and bears), and YoJeong (pointy-eared folks with nature-manipulating musical magic).

Story:
Jovey was a young and promising composer being raised to have a good education in music. His future career was ruined though, when an elderly female master maestro tried to steal his youth by taking his body through a magical score of her own design. It was intended to grant the old woman immortality by stealing others' bodies, this time Jovey being her poor victim. Unfortunately for her, Jovey counteracted the musical spell by turning it into a duet, playing a small instrument in a complex way that threw off her ability to control the music. During this distraction, Jovey stabbed the woman, attempting to end the song, but the power of the melody was too strong and it engulfed him. When he woke up, the spell had transformed him: he was female, and because of the spell, he had long silver hair, to boot. He fled for several days and on the first day of the new month, he changed back into a male YoJeong with his regular blue hair in his sleep. But it wasn't to last, on the 25th of every following month until the 30th, he changed unwillingly into this new form - a curse for interrupting the magic.

Keeping his secret proved to be too difficult, and Jovey gave up his dream to be a composer, changing it instead to finding a melody that would end his curse. He took up the learning of how to defend himself with the nature magic and the blade, and started a life as a wanderer for a time in the Southern Woods of The World. There he flourished in fighting with long daggers and the bow, as well as learned of the many animals and monsters in the forests. He became the local strider; a YoJeong man that protected travelers from monsters. During his brief times as a female, she became a bard/detective in town to earn extra coin for equipment and food.

Description/Personality:
Male form: Jovey is not tall but average, and has bright blue hair and mint-green eyes. He wears a blue-ish/green cape and earthy colored leather armors underneath. He wields two daggers that he holds upside down during combat, and a short bow which he uses to hunt with, though he isn't good at shooting from distances greater than 100 feet. Rarely does Jovey lose his cool in frustration, on the other hand, he does give great spit-take reactions when something surprises him, as he can be quite enthusiastic in responding to others.

Female form: Jovey calls his female self 'Janine' to help differentiate his mind when he becomes her. She is slightly shorter as a girl and retains her eye color, though her hair becomes long and silvery. Her daggers are her weapon of choice, and she refrains from wearing her bow as it isn't practical when working in-town. She prefers to wear tighter clothing than her male form does and is better overall at music. Janine has a nasty temper when she gets angry, but is known to be patient in most cases.
