Aida slowed as the three sisters and then Nemesis blew past her. So much for being a body guard. Whatever, at least now she could get out of here herself.
Turning around, the mercenary pushed her way to the front entrance. She hoped her motorcycle was still in one piece, it was her only source of transportation, and she rather liked it. Luckily, despite the chaos, it was sitting right where she had left it. After slipping on her helmet, Aida jumped on, started the vehicle up, and took off, heading for the back of the mansion where she would find someplace safe to wait for everything to die down before she returned to collect her pay. She had to swerve her way through the crowd, narrowly avoiding vampires as they tried to get out of her way. It wasn't so much she didn't want to hit them as it was she didn't want to be slowed down.
Back inside, Verleid made his way to the bomb shelter underneath the mansion. He'd lost track of Aida, but quite frankly he didn't care at this point. He knew she'd return for her money, and even if she didn't, that wast just one less thing to worry about. All he cared about at the moment was getting himself to safety. There wasn't time to take another escape route, so the shelter would have to do.

((OOC: Sure thing, I was going to wait for Glein to post as Dion but I guess that'll wait.))
As the nose plug hit the ground and rolled out of the bubble it made a popping noise and burst into pieces that disintegrated. "Hm... I guess plastic doesn't exactly react well with the Void... Oh well." Shrugging her shoulders, then freezing mid shrug, she turned and looked behind the group. Her eyes were opened wide and she looked to where the nose plug had been demolished.
She had forgotten.
Any destruction within the Void notified anything within at least a hundred miles aware of their location. And in the Void some creatures could move quite quickly.
Faer dropped to the ground like a stone, splaying herself out with her ear to the ground. The vibrations going through the ground were one thing that made her aware of another presence, but when her ear hit the ground she heard the steady beats of feet pounding. One... Two... Three... Four... Five... Six... Six feet. It was a Graendshir. Then she began to listen deeper. Her hearing ranged deeper, through the feet and to the monsters heart. Glug. Glug. Glug. The slow beats allowed Faer to tell how old the creature was. It was old. Which meant battle hardy.
"Damn." Faer stood quickly. "We don't have a few hours so... Let's just speed this along hm? I'm going to try something a little new." Now Faer didn't have emotions, but she could show something akin to them, and the nervous fear like expression she was showing told them something was wrong. "I'm just going to create a fold, so if everyone would get a little close that would be much appreciated. I do want to leave here alive."
Faer once again closed her eyes, and though she was strained magically, she knew she had to do this. Or they would all die. In her mind she envisioned the map, and the path they were on. And then. She shortened it. She created a gap, a rift in time, that shortened their journey by at least an hour. And then she created another. And another. They were jumping through time, moving at a 'warped speed'. The effect it had on Faer was devastating, each jump they took, the more haggard she appeared, and the bubble thinned, and wavered now and then. But it was necessary. They needed to make the journey, get back to the Wastelanders, and they needed to get away from the creature.
When they at last reached where Faer deemed necessary to exit, for it was outside the Wastelander dampening shield, right outside, she stopped them. The backlash of the magical usage hit her and she sank to a knee, and then full on to the ground. Her face lay against the cool stone, and her eyes were sinking closed. But she knew that if she went unconcious that they would all die. The bubble blinked dangerously, and then firmed. As if by pure will Faer gritted her teeth and held it together. She gained an elbow, and then a full armslength from the ground. Her vision dimmed dangerously and she shook her head, trying to clear it. The world around her spun.
"No. I. Will. Not. Give." With that Fear took them from the Void to the real world. But at that one second she made the transition the bubble escaped her control and they were assaulted by the Void. The Void entered their veins, creeping along with a dark certainty. It felt like a taint, and a wail sounded in their minds, blocking everything else. A second of insanity, and then it was gone. They had experienced finally what she dealt with everyday. They were back, and the wastelander base was a dot on the horizon.
Faer was on the ground, sprawled out and unconcious. She seemed to have lost pounds, and aged a few years. Her already thing frame seemed starved. Her Elemental form gone, her tatoos were back. Only they weren't so still anymore. They danced across her skin in burning runes of power, skating along rythmically as they struggled to contain the Void inside. If one touched her skin the temperature of her body would be over 110 degrees Fahrenheit. Impossible for a human to live through. But she was an Elemental. It was only a fever for her, not life threatening, but dangerous none the less.
((OOC: I'll draw the design of the creature for you guys also so you can see its terrifying goodness! ^^))

With the heirs to the Emperor safely secured in their seats Nemesis allowed a moment to collect his thoughts. This was indeed a surprise and a nasty one at that. What's worse the Vampiric Control Force had failed in their promise that no wastelander activities would interfere with this special occasion. He'd see heads for that, but that wasn't his immediate concern. The Wastelanders would see this as a victory and a stunning blow to Vampire morale.Worse it could fuel riots in more valuable territory's,disrupting their industry and further straining the empire.. No,not a complete blow. The Emperor's children had been present and they had not been harmed.THAT was a victory unto itself and spared himself a gruesome fate at the hands of his Emperor. What's more, they could manipulate the truth of this by stating the Wastelander's assaulted both Vampire AND Humans at this party, playing on the sympathy of their cleansed citizens.." Lord Nemesis,I have a Colonel Onyx on the channel."The pilots voice squawked through the com "Patch me through, over."He ordered "Lord nemesis this is Colonel Onyx of the Hand of the Nocturne. We are five miles out and inbound on your location, over.""Understood Colonel,I want four of your best men to escort my shuttlel out of the danger zone, you and the rest of your squadron are to engage the enemy raider force.Destroy them all, over" "Copy my lord,we'll make the sky's rain with their blood, over!""I expect nothing less,Nemesis out." ******************************************************************************** ((The fighter in Onyx's squadron)) http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c102/HalcyonJedi/JetFighter.pngOnyx severed the connection, shifting to his squadron's freqencies"Hands 2,8,3,6 get the lucky pick today, you'll continue on and escort the Lord General's aircraft out of the danger zone, the rest of us are going hunting!" Growls and hoots signaled acknowledgment from his squadron, the flight's reforming into two groups, with the smaller pair continuing on to the dropship while the other's turned towards the approaching prey. "Tally Hoe!I have bomber's in sight,Alpha!"Hand 4 reported,Onyx smiled through his mask, sliding his visor firmly into place"Alright boys, the wolves are in the farmer's yard and we've found our sheep!"He flicked a few switches, the crystal screen lighting up with a bright green target reticule"Hands, form up and climb to 2000.Hands 4 and 9,go in low and cut off the bogey's path.Ok jettison fuel tanks and Gate!!"The cockpit vibrated as the engines went into afterburn, landscape screaming by beneathe as they closed the vast distance in mere seconds. The two fighters rolled away, contrails glistening off their wing tips."Watch your marking Hand 4,we don't want them to see us just yet"He rebuked, leveling off after they'd reached their targeted altitude "Bogey's are now one mile out, this is Hand 1 moving to engage and switching to Sidewinder's!"The Bomber's were below them now,he could see the bright flashes of their bombs detonating on the unfortunate populace below."Throttles now, manuever to engage!"He focused on the leading bomber, watching his screen with a hard focus as the cross hairs lazily aligned with that of the aicraft, the console giving a high pitch wail to signify target lock "Target is aqquired..I've got tone...Fox 2!"The missile pulled away,he switched to the next bomber"Got tone on bogey,Fox 2!"around him,his co-pilots opened fire, streaks of white racing off for the bombers"Close to 400 and switch to guns!"

As the Imperial fighters screamed into position, the pilots flying guard on the Bombers for the Wastelanders had passive locks on the fighters. Once the first two missiles began to streak in, the pilots broke off, their fighters suddenly blinking on the Imperial radars. "BREAK! BREAK! BREAK! ENGANGE THE TANGOS! Red 5, Gold 9, get those damned missiles!" the lead pilot called out, as his ORCA fighter began to streak towards the imperial fighter. While they didn't have the forward power, nor high-speed capability of their rivals, they were more mobile and the VTOL ability inherinent in their systems would give them edges their fixed wing foes didn't have. As two of the ORCA fighters broke off to engage the missiles, one streaked by them, taking out the lead bomber. While they were indeed carpet bombing the area, the bombs had started on the mile lockdown zone, and it was clustered into one coloum, meaning only a few civilians were killed or wounded, since few would actually tempt the VCF. The bombs were already half-way up to the mansion.
The second missile was shot down, more by luck then anything, the shrapnel from the wreckage shredding the wing of hte second bomber. IT peeled off, headed towards base. The 2 fighters that had been assigned to hte missiles returned to the dog fight beginning to rage over the city. While the jets were snapping to and fro, having to follow wide arcs compared to their VTOL foes, teh ORCAs couldn't match their foes in speed, falling behind in stright out chases. These ORCA pilots were all veterans, and it showed, with manuvers that could be called crazy if it was done in inexperianced hands, such as cutting their engines, falling some distance as the missile flew by, then jumpstarting the twin engines on their wings, returning to their orignial height, getting a missile or even two off before having to attempt to chase. However, dispite the experiance and talents of the ORCA pilots, they were only mortal, and sometimes reaction time would be a milisecond too slow, resulting in the pilot and co-pilot's deaths.
Of the 12 ORCAs to arrive with the bombers, only 9 were still flying, 5 minutes into the dogfight. The bombs were now on the front gate of the mansion, so 5 more minutes was all the Wastelanders had to hold before they could break off and retreat.

Dion Zeromus Wastelander/Pomme de Sang Status: 87% Mental Charge: 100% Emotional State: Concentrating Location: Border of Purity Base, Nevada Current Mission: Return to Purity Base
Dion pulled himself out of Lynn's grasp when they returned from the void, still getting overthe feeling of insanity and nausea, while reaching to help the elemental up, and began to walk forward, carrying the elemental in a fireman's carry, despite his wound. While it was flaring in pain, he merely gritted his teeth, and went forward, one heavy, slow, weak, step at a time. He wasn't going to leave her vunerable like that, and he wasn't going to let himself not do anything because of a simple wound, despite the fact that the wound was anything BUT simple. "Come on... The base should be up ahead... About 5 miles..." Dion grunted through gritted teeth as he felt hte mental dampening field lay itself on his mind. When he glanced behind him, he saw Lynn close to Kelbora, talking about something. He couldn't hear from this distance, meaning they were whispering, but it could have simply been his hearing not working properly since he was weakened. He didn't know, and right now, didn't care.

[[OOC: =>_>= Uuuuh....what am I suppose to be talking about with Lynn? And I can't exactly have a one sided conversation...plus we need to get to the base. =o_O?= What do you want me to do?]]
The Void's side effects finally did the vampiress in, and the moment they returned to the living world, Kelbora doubled over and vomited. Thick, black, bile and blood erupted from her mouth, burning her throat as she heaved it onto the ground and coughed hard enough to rupture a capillary in her lung. The stress of the party, the hunger she had ignored, the fight that had ripped her apart right down to the soul, and the trip through the Void had rattled her and weakened her to the point lax muscle control, and thus she was holding herself together with what little pride and stubbornness she had left.
Which wasn't much.
When she had emptied the remaining contents of her stomach, Kelbora rose up from her kneeling position and took several deep breaths of the hot desert air. It was dry and comforting compared to the sweaty and heavy atmosphere of the party, and she felt a little better for it. Though she would need some blood and rest to work herself back to being at full health, she would live and hopefully fight another day.
Even though she had left him on the crumbling floor with his brains blown out, Kelbora knew that man had not died and that they would meet again.
Schild. She needed to see Schild.
Kelbora heard Dion grunt, and looked over at the soldier lifting Faer up and hoisting her over his shoulder. She knew her Pomme de Sang was in no condition for such activity, but the man's ego had to be damaged after the disaster of the party, so Kelbora left him alone. She may have been tired and beaten as well, but between the two of them she would have a better time carrying the Elemental to the base.
The moment Dion showed signs that he couldn't go farther, she was going to take over carrying her...and him as well.
Kelbora followed Dion towards the base, and after walking a few yards, the female Wastelander from the party began to speak. Kelbora gave her a sidelong glance out of the corner of her eye before looking back to the direction of the base.
"I already told you," Kelbora said, her voice coming out as more of a growl since her throat was so raw after the fight and vomiting, "I'm not a Wastelander, so stop asking me questions. I'm independent and keep my own counsel, so for the duration of this trip, I suggest you do the same."
It was clear that Kelbora had no desire to talk.

"Let him go,stay on the active bombers!"Onyx snapped, the last thing they needed was waste precious munitions on a crippled foe.His men had performed well, better then his expectations in fact.Already they had three kills to their credit and a bomber destroyed, the honor of first blood belonging solely to Onyx!
But this battle had only just begun, the bomber's had indeed been guarded and by nothing less then ORCA'S.Their VTOL flight made them the thorn in the side of many fighter pilots. And whoever was flying wasn't a green horn. These men were almost reckless with the way they threw their aircraft around"Hands it isn't good, our heat-seekers won't cut em down if they keep pulling that stunt-Oh s**t I'm painted!"He jerked hard, flipping his fighter belly up before going into a nose dive, his earpiece coming alive with the voices of his squadron as they engaged the ORCA'S.G-Forces ripped at his body, pulling himself out of the dive and into another climb, kicking the burner's to full throttle
"Hands..save your missiles for the bombers..resort to cannons against the ORCA's.Their nimble, but we'll beat em in a flat out run."He rolled his jet back into another dive, completing what had actually been one massive loop to get above the ORCA that had targeted him,the cannon chattering as white hot tracers zipped through the air
"I've got tone!FOX 2,FOX 2!" "Break off!Break off!He's on me!" "Where'd he-YAAAARRRRRG!" "YEAH!Got another bomber!"
These were just tidbits of commotion going on through Nemesis channel as the fight intensified, two of Nemesis fighters tumbling away from the combat as wreckage or balls of flame.Another ORCA zoomed up into Onyx screen,he gave it a four second burst before diving inbetween a pair of bombers to throw off any would be pursuer's.The humans were strong, but the vampires had the beenfit of time on their side,as well as experience. They weren't the best of the Royal Guard Army to earn their precious stripes. Each man was a veteran of countless air battles, hand picked by Onyx himself.

The ORCAs were indeed thorns, already having taken down 2 of the enemy fighters. But now they were down to 7, having lost another 2, and a second bomber was gone. While all hte pilots involved were veterans, they were only human, and they were fighting Vampires. That was one of hte reasons for the use of the ORCA as the main fighter of hte Wastelanders... The Vampires tended towards the fixed wing craft, and any fixed wing craft teh humans piloted were no match, even if both teh human and vampire were using the same planes, the same amount of experiance. It was always down to reaction time, and the Vampires natural speed enhanced their reaction time far more then any human could hope to attian. But, VTOL proved to be the strength for the humans, because they could pull stunts and manuvers that would make any Vampire livid, if only because the Humans didn't go for the finese of combat.
"WHERE THE HELL HE'D GO!!" "LOCK! HAWK 5!" "GET HIM OFF MY a**!! SHI--" "Gold 9, break off! He's on your 6!"
Even as the fighting grew more intense, the humans were slowly begining to gain a little ground, learning their enemies tatics and styles quickly, as was natural of humanity. As the old saying goes: "Needs must when the devil drives." Well, the devil was driving alright, and the need to adapt and react were a must.
Yet another ORCA was falling to the earth, burning fuel and bodies leaving a tail much like a comet on it's plummet to the bombed ground. 5. That was how many ORCAs were left, but they had taken another vampire fighter, maybe 2 with them. Still, the odds were highly against them. The lead fighter was gone, and the rest of the pilots were merely reacting, doing what they could to survive and maybe take a couple of the vampire pilots down. The bombers had just finished their run, and were beginning to return towards their base, the mansion a smoldering ruin behind and below them, along with the main road for a mile. Of the bomber wing, only 3 of hte orignal 7 were returning to base unharmed, 2 were crippled, and 2 were wreckage in the ruins.

"Do not allow the bomber's to escape! They will pay for this act with their blood!"Onyx screamed, his rage at the boiling point as he surveyed the destruction below..So many lives..gone.His brethern..his blood..turned to ash by the damned Wastelander's that had invaded his home..attacked his people and butchered them like lambs to the slaughter.Onyx shook more from rage then the force of the G's upon his aircraft.Gazing out at the Wastelander ORCA's he vowed to destroy every last one of them, eye for an eye
and blood for blood.
"Hands..leave none alive"His voice was cold as ice and hard as steel. The humans were fighting well, but their main edge was those damn ORCA's.If it had been fixed wing against fixed wing this battle would have been over long ago..but now his men fought against an aircraft that wasn't limited to 4 dimensions of movement. Then it hit him. They had speed but he had numbers.... "Hands, break off and dive!go for 200 then come right at bearing 5-9-4!!"One by one the fighter's tore away from the battle, following after their flight leader. One of the fighter's wasn't fast enough however, and it's left wing was sheared off by the lucky shot from the ORCA'S cannon, the pilot ejecting moments before his bird went into a spinning dive, breaking apart in a shower of metal and burning fuel
"Hand 12 is down!" "I've gotta a chute!"
"Cut the chatter!"Onyx snapped"Alright, form up on my wings, both sides.Diamond formation."They followed suit,Onyx jerked back towards the regouping ORCA's"Switch to guns and cut engines to 80% thrust."The fighters closed formation, forming a tight wedge that roared towards the surprised ORCA's,distance 400 and closing
"Strike them from the sky brother's!"The fighter's combined cannon fire formed an aerial mass volley, their tight formation allowing the pilots to form interlocking fields of fire, and with their minor reduced speed allowed them to track their elusive prey before the distance was closed to the point of favor for the ORCA.When that happened Onyx would hit the burner to full throttle and then outrun his foes, bringing the squadron back for another run till either the foe broke and ran,or Onyx's men were shot out of the sky..

[[OOC:...Okay, I'm going to skip ahead to the base. Forgive me if this irks anyone, but I'm worried that we won't be getting this moving any time soon. XP]]
It had been less than two miles out when someone had sent a convoy to gather up the group, returned from the Void. The Humvees were giant armored land-rovers, hardy four-wheel drives equip with turret guns and five armed personal each. There were approximately four of them had converged upon the four wanderers, and after less than a minute introduction, they had learned that the bombers had struck the city, and they had all been surprised to find that the infiltration team had suddenly appeared in the desert less than a half hour into the raid.
Needless to say, the expressions were both of awe and worry.
Faer had been carefully placed in a vehicle, a medic tending to her while a second medic hustled Dion inside and examined what was left of his injuries. After hooking both of them up to an IV fluid drip, the three armed soldiers nervously approached Kelbora and Lynn, the two being pegged as vampires right away.
When one of the braver medics, with armed escort approached Kelbora, she hissed as him and all rifles were instantly aimed at her. She didn't want to be touched, and regardless of her state, she had no desire to endure privative human medicine. Only blood and rest could cure her ailments, and the vampiress ignored the guns and climbed into one of the open Humvees behind Faer and Dion. The bloody smells were still to appetizing to her.
Lynn followed, thus keeping the vamps together and making the soldiers very nervous, but they weren't putting up a fight. After all, at least one of them was expected.
The trip back was silent and long, but air-conditioned, and it took less that fifteen to twenty minutes to travel the desert and arrive at the base. Faer and Dion were taken out and adamantly escorted to the medical bay, while Kelbora lept from her Humvee and made her way, by memory, to Bartz's office.
Whether he was there or in another room monitoring the progress of the raid was unknown, but the soldiers weren't at liberty to give her information.
Ignoring the shouts, protests, and angry commands to stop, Kelbora made her way into the base without stopping. She could hear a female voice trying to calm them behind her, but right now she needed to see Bartz and find a ticket to Germany.
She would not be outguned like that again.

((OOC: Oh that's fine with me.))
Faer was vaguely aware of being moved, and though it annoyed her that she couldn't control her body at all, she deemed it necessary for her own sake. That was what the worst was when she used too much magic. Her mind worked, trapped in its complexities, but her body refused to move. It was as if lead 10 ton weights were on every inch of her body.
--- 3 hours later ---
Faer woke in the medic in a cold sweat. As soon as her eyes open and she jerked into a sitting position she grabbed the trashcan next to her and vomitted into it noisily. She looked in the mirror and was surprised to see her haggard appearance.
Bags dark as night lay under her bloodshot eyes, she looked gaunt as if she had just recovered from viewing slaughter, which she had seen slaughter, and she seemed to have lost pounds of weight.
Pulling back the sheet, she leaned her legs over the edge of the bed and stood. Her legs, shaky, barely allowing her to walk, but she continued, her legs growing stronger with each step.
She was looking for anyone in the group. She wanted to know if everything had turned out fine.

((I'll skip ahead, battle's been fun but it's time to get back to the action))
The shuttle carried the royal trio safely out of the battle zone, their fighter escort peeling off to return to their comrades once that had been accomplished.Nemesis had watched the unfolding battle through a pic-screen,studying the human pilots as they fought with Nemesis brother's through the sky.
The Wastelander's were getting bolder, their strikes more organized.Somehow they had found access to high grade military hard ware, those bomber's weren't antiquated pieces of junk, they were well armored and seemed to be in excellent condition. And those strange VTOL aircraft were unknown to the Lord General.'They must be shifting away from fixed wing, less maintenance and more adaptive. So whoever is leading this is a clever man...a very clever man."He cracked a small grin, remembering the b***h who had put a bullet through his skull.A tough woman, one that he'd savor with every bite once he had her in his grasp again, slowly consuming her soul as she writhed in blissful anguish.
The thought brought a blood tear to his eye, such a delicate flower to add to his collection,as well as power..it was almost beautiful just to think about it... ********************************************************************************
3 hours had passed since that flight, arriving at a secure location the Emperor's Children had been whisked away by member's of the Emperor's personal guard, warriors so terrifying that even Nemesis had to respect their power. He was informed that the Emperor would have a few words with him later on,but that as of that moment the Lord General was to have the honor of addressing the populace(and any listening wastelander's.)As well as members of the Royal Guard Army.Night was falling as he stepped onto the obsidian carved platform, spotlights running back and forth over the stage while flags of the Vampiric Empire fluttered fitfully, rows upon rows of men stood at attention,VCF's controlled media ad numerous camera's set up all over the set, going to live as the dark figure took his place. His hands gripped the pedestal, cracking the wood beneathe him,his dark eyes opened and he spoke..

Kelbora burst into Bartz's office only to find it empty, which was disappointing since she had to knock out three Wastelanders and nearly scare another to death just to get to this point. When she had entered the room an entourage of screaming and shouting soldiers demanding that she disarm and surrender.
Which was as amusing as it was annoying since Kelbora had already been given honorary status among the Wastelanders by Bartz himself.
Kelbora slammed the door in their faces and locked the door. Sure it wouldn't keep them out forever if they really tried, but she doubted that they would try since this was technically confining her to one place where they knew there was little to nothing she could use to cause trouble. Another reason she choose to stay put in a place she knew Bartz would come instead of tearing apart this entire base for him.
That, and she really didn't have the strength nor patients for a wild goose chase at the moment.
Kelbora walked over to the large conference table and leaned against it, removing her long and heavy trench coat before doing so. She tossed the leather garment on the table, making a loud -thud- and denting the hard wood. The coat itself weighed at least seventy pounds because of the heavy leather and thick metal platings embedded within the several layers. With the coat off, Kelbora examined the torn black turtle-neck and complex body armor and belting system beneath. She frowned at what she saw.
She could feel cool air gracing her skin through the tear that man had made in her back with his sword. She could also noticed that when the light shone on her clothing that she was covered in blood. She hadn't seen it before because the clothing was black and her previous environments had been glazed in darkness or twilight.
Realizing she didn't have time to change or take care of the mess, Kelbora opted to keep the coat off but leave the blood drenched shirt and pants on. She smelled like she'd been swimming in a pool of gore...what the hell kind of magic had that man used on her?
It didn't matter. The next time they met, she was going to drown his black soul in a sea of his own vital fluids.
Leaning back, she crossed her arms and legs to wait, and her claws flexed and clenched around her arms.
Fantasies of slaughter danced in her head, and the general's decapitated corpus was the star of the show. How she would repay him for his arrogance, for his merciless disregard for the sanctity of innocence and souls, for daring to under estimate her as he had.
Blowing his brains out just wasn't enough...no...she wanted to rip his shriveled heart from his still breathing chest.
[[In light of Xel's newest post, I'm a gonna add to this one.]]
As Kelbora sat and stewed, one of the several monitors Bartz kept in his office to keep tabs on the world outside flickered onto an emergency news briefing. The sudden flash from a political promotion to a breaking press release caught her attention and she turned around to look at it.
Her eyes widened and she slowly drew herself up from her slouch and walked over to the monitor she focused on, and suddenly every channel flipped to the press briefing. It was him.
Her fists clenched.

"Citizens....Sons and Daughter's of the Empire,For many years we have been a prosperous people.A beacon that shines out the light of order and unity that only our beloved Emperor can deliver.Yet as we bask in our golden time, there has come an age of darkness that threatens to destroy all we hold dear!6 years ago, they came. These savages known as the wastelander's,who know not the meaning of life and seek only to spread death and anarchy in their wake!Corruption is their word and destruction is their pleasure."
The air grew darker around the general, his eyes glowing a baleful red"6 years have passed since our Emperor began the battle against these savages, and our people have endured. But this day has been a dark one,for the enemy has struck at the heart of it's people, the streets running red with the blood of innocence. Both Cleansed and Vampire. They sought to conquer us..vowing to destroy every last man, woman and child that stands for Order and justice...Citizens of the Empire..this much I vow..
The history of these days will be written in blood!"He smashed his fist upon his booth, splintering the wood and metal covering."By striking out against the innocence of it's people, they have awoken the wrath of the terrible beast that will not cease until every last one of the enemy lies broken and dead.Though bloodied, our spirit endures. On this day,we stand united as one,on this day those driven to divide us will hear our voice! On this day,we shall act as one,and we shall be a victim of terror,no more!By god, they cannot image what their armies face before them...
Nemesis smiled,as a spider smiles to the fly caught in it's web.Suddenly the air blossomed out in bright plumes of dark fire around him, turning his pedestal to ash and scarring the stage which he stood upon,a hand reaching out to the heavens as he roared out his next bit of the speech, the camera's zooming in for a closer shot
"WE SHALL SMITE THE SAVAGES FROM OUR SKIES!THEIR LANDS WILL BURN BEFORE OUR WRATH AND THEIR PEOPLE DROWNED IN THEIR OWN BLOOD,AS WE STRIKE AS ONE FIST,ONE HEART AND ONE SOUL!AND BEFORE THE END,WHEN WE HOLD THEIR TORN HEARTS WITHIN OUR HAND,WHEN THEIR SOULS LIE DEFILED AND BROKEN AND THEIR HOPE DASHED BEFORE THEIR EYES.."
The flames died, the air growing eerily calm as he looked out into the eyes of his audience,as well as the camera's,his words soft as the caress of a viper's touch.
"They will know...The Empire endures, for all time."
