tatara kogasa Pirra-chan but Ran and Yukari's are way too repetitive and too high pitched (Yukari's anyway). In this case, you can say it's justified as Necrofantasia and Yukari~n's stage theme is a remix of both of Ran's stage and boss theme. To show that she's not only stronger than Ran, but also much more dangerous. But yeah, it's super high-pitched. @_@ And it shows that you're going into unknown territory; if I recall, where Yukari can be found is around or partially inside the Great Hakurei Border. The high-pitchedness is one of the things I like most about Necrophantasia. It probably has the most feeling of something big happening in the whole series. And in fitting with the short wavelengths and the whole color thing going on, unintentionaly, I associate the song with blues and violets. I think we need a music discussion thread. Not just to list our favorites, but to talk about the different aspects of the songs and where in the universe ZUN pulls it all out of.

I'm sure it's been mentioned already, but my only qualm I have with touhou thus far is the character art. Some of it looks good, but most of it just looks off, not fitting.
I know that was rather vague, but just putting that out there. ninja

I know that was rather vague, but just putting that out there. ninja THOU SHALT BE STRUCK DOWN BY ZUNTHUSIASTS AND WHITE LOTUSES ..... Just kidding; Fortes and I also think his art is meh.

The all girl thing. Gets really freaking creepy sometimes. Not just the all girls thing, just the way Zun does it in particular. Also "Please watch warmly, the girls are now preparing" >.< Ugh the ******** awesome title screen art and epic music firing up is savior from a ***** like that.

Whether or not you or most people notice, it's the same way with guys in most other things. Especially in reality. How often are women placed in combat roles in a non-obvious and serious way? Officers often refer to their subordinates as their men.

I agree, it's very nice to see a game where females are the dominant gender, and they're not all cookie cutter either (I'm looking at you Final Fantasy X-2) @ Blood - DUDE, girls ARE preparing... to kick the crap outta one another '3'
