Then Trivicus drew a blank.
He had gotten her attention, but what was he going to say? Iiiiidiooooot... his innver voice mocked him. Trivicus listened for an out, and as Nica finished her sentence, he looked at his shoulder, pretending to be surprised. "Yeah, I do need help. Are you sure it wouldn't be too much trouble?"
Remembering what he was originally going to say, he awkwardly added, "My name is Trivicus, by the way."

"I'm Nica, and it's no trouble at all. Here, let's get out of the street and I'll get you patched up as best as I can."
She gently takes his uninjured arm and leads him back to the shop man's store. "I think the last thing we need is to have someone seeing your wounds and asking questions about it, eh?"

Garret sighed softly after the last guy went down. He stayed quiet as the others moved about checking the bodies and cleaning up a bit. Loosening his gloves he sat down on the edge of the fountain while the others seemed to head towards a shop of some kind. He didn't have anything he wanted to sell or buy at the moment...not that he had any money to buy anything in the first place. While sitting he checked himself over for any serious injuries and found none to be worried about so he sat back and [took one of his Vitamin C capsules] to hold him over. Also while sitting outside the young blonde could easily keep an eye out for anymore cops or suits arriving to finish what the others started.

Trivicus followed Nica into the shop. He felt a little uncomfortable, away from the anonymity of the crowd, singled out and recognized. But he really would like a better remedy for his bullet wound which you wouldn't have gotten if you weren't so hasty to fight. Oh, give it a break, I already did it. If I give you a break, you'll do it again.
"You're right, I'd rather not be questioned about it," Trivicus responded, "Given the nature of how I acquired it." He looked around the shop. There were a pair of sharp gloves, sort of like the kind that other fighter was using. That blonde girl who was caught in the brawl was there, too, holding a sickening sludge, talking with the shopkeeper as to its worth. Some shop this is. Well, maybe it's their hideout or something. You've got to be kidding me. It's just a thought. No, it's just a coincidence they're all meeting here.
"So, is this a hideou- ffhhh..." Trivicus quietly hissed as he brushed his other, wounded shoulder lightly against the edge of the door. He lifted his sleeve to bare the wound and allow himself a better look at it. Still a little anxious outside of the crowd, he idly asked, "You'll really help me out?" You should stop talking, you're making yourself sound like a damn fool.

Sylvia glanced around the shop, only slightly paying attention to what the man said. It seemed they'd been hit hard by the taxation; there was nothing really worth buying, or stealing for that matter. Sylvia looked out into the square and stifled a yawn as the shopkeep mentioned an inn.
Why was she even here? There was nothing in it for her and it wasn't like she was so poor that rebellion was the only option. No, her night job so to it that she was somewhat well off.
Curiosity. That had to be it Sylvia decided as she left the others behind and went over to the inn. She'd talk to them later. For now, she desired nothing more than to return the nap she'd been taking up until the riot broke out.

She gives Trivicus a kind smile. "Of course I'll really help you." Seeing the wound she winces a little. "That looks pretty bad. Why don't you pull up a chair and I'll see if the shopkeeper has any rags I can use so we can get that cleaned out."
Nica turns her head to look at the shop man and gives him a wry smile. "Well, looks like I wasn't gone as long as I thought I'd be. You wouldn't happen to have any clean rags and maybe some warm water and soap would you?"

Medea sighed as more people entered, including the ones who had just left. Looks like it might be time to head over to the inn. If more people come that is...like more suits. Medea took the handkerchief out of her boot and wrapped the sludge in it. She then put the wrapped sludge in a small bag next to the other items she had. If the shop keeper didn't want anything for the sludge, that was fine. If he did, Medea was sure she could get something for him, or just steal the item. Medea once again looked around the shop. Seeing these beat looking people, as well as the wound on t he guy who just entered, made the tips of Medea's fingers tingle. Medea quickly rubbed her hands on her skirt. She didn't want to heal any of them; but the feeling was annoying her.

"Weren't any of you wounded, too?" Trivicus speculated, only silently. Still, he was glad to accept help, and was finished questioning whether Nica was being honest. He looked around for a chair, and sat down.
Trivicus found himself in a strange situation. He had full intentions of disappearing after being treated, lest he be questioned. He didn't like being questioned too much. Now that he thought it over, though, he couldn't just leave. That would be rude. Trivicus wondered if he'd ever really be anonymous to these few again. Ah, well, Trivicus thought. I suppose I dropped any chance of staying clear of these few's affairs when I fired my gun to their enemy.

((Whoa, just had a ton of homework yesterday, then school today. Sorry guys.))
" "Wait," said the shopkeeper. "I will let you have that, but only on one condition. There's a threeman named Percius. He guards the slums to the south." He takes the sludge back from Medea. "This I can give to you if you bring me the Silver Pocketwatch he stole from me." "

Medea pushed herself off of the wall, a little miffed that the shop keeper just took the item out of her hand. He could have at least asked, even though it was his item. "I just have to defeat this guy? This Threeman in the South Slums? And I can have that item if I give you a pocket watch?" Yeah, so the shop keeper said that all already. Medea just wanted to make sure. "See you in a bit Shop Keeper." Medea went out the front door, pausing a little ways down the road. The tingling feeling was still in her fingers, so to releave some of that, Medea put a hand to the wound on her temple, [Mending] it a little before she went to fight this guy. It wouldn't do to have an open wound in a fight. No telling what would happen if it bleed again.

"Bah, guess no bandages are forthcoming. I just hope this doesn't get infected or anything." Nica shakes her head then reaches into her pocket, pulling out a Vitamin C (50%) tablet and handing it to Trivicus. "Here, take this and it'll help heal ya up. And thanks for your help with the cops and threemen this morning."

Kit wanders into the shop, oblivious to the excitement that had occurred just a short period of time ago. And besides, it had had nothing to do with her. As her eyes adjust to the difference between the outside and inside light she takes in the scene, two very battered and bloody people with weapons.
"Oh! Oh.. um.. I.. uh... I think I might... erm.. I might have the wrong shop.. Uh.. I... How about I just run away now?"
She begins to edge to the door while making sure to keep facing the other two. It wouldn't do to turn her back to them so they can grab her from behind.
Should I run for help? Did they kill someone? Oh my gosh! I bet they did! I bet they're cold blooded killers! Where's the shopkeep? Oh no! What if they killed him?

"Wait, so Medea can mend herself now?" Lanster began to pick out little inconsistencies in the story. "How now and not before?"
Vaughan Smythe replied. "Ugh, don't worry about it."
"Fine."
"Anyway, after Medea mends herself and Nica gives the Vitamin C to Trivicus, the sandwich shop becomes almost-full with the crowd. A lone bartender is still standing behind the counter, bored and whatnot. Lots of people work there for free. It gives them something to do."

" "Hey, Missy!" The shopkeeper had his eye on Kit the whole time. "You're not stealing anything, are you? You do know you have to pay, right? Even though there's no money or anything." THe keeper looks at the wall. The Ka-nife was still on the rack, and the Amino Sludge was still in his hands. "Oh. Well, sorry for the trouble. Have a nice day." His last statement wasn't really meant, but the whole thing just seemed awkward."
