"We should get out of here before someone decides to chase us," Kir thought, trying in vain to ignore the painful memories Lily was having. He walked over to her and placed a hand on the one she had on her chest, "..." He looked at her with gentle eyes.

Lily looked back at him, her eyes filled with a mix of sadness and maybe fear. "Yes, we should go," she said, looking away from him.

The side of Lily's mouth twitched, hinting at a smile. "I know, but I can't help think 'what if,'" she replied and looked around. "We should go," she repeated, knowing this wasn't the best place to be.

"Hypothetical questions huh?" Kir laughed softly. He offered his hand to Lily, "If that person does anything, I'll have to stop him, but for now, lets' go back. They are all waiting for us..." He thought with his innocent smile.

Lily gave him a weak smile and took his hand. "Just know that no matter what happened, I'm not going to leave your side and I'm going to do what I can to help you," she said and stepped close to him so he could lift her up.

Kir lifted Lily up and hugged her tightly like she was the only thing that mattered; which at that moment she was.
He walked over to the edge of the spire and looked down, "Wow...So high up..." He commented. It was much higher than Angel Springs.

Lily glanced down and nodded in agreement. "I don't think I've ever been this high up," she said, quietly. She put her arms around Kir's neck and held herself close to him and waited to take off.

"I know I've never been this high before," Kir laughed. Even he was a little nervous from the height.
He spread his wings and, after testing them thoroughly, jumped off the edge.
He drifted them down slowly so their ears wouldn't pop too badly.
Once they were down at a reasonable level, Kir flapped his wings and shot away from the spire. Back to where they were before.

Lily didn't talk as they flew back towards Snow Peak. Instead, she was thinking about what had just happened and what they could have become involved it. She knew this wasn't over and she was afraid of what might happen.

Status Spire. It was indeed impressive. The spire towered above then, going off into the sky. "Well, we aren't going to get up there by staring at it." Miraldae said as he placed a hand on the handle of his sword to ready himself against an attack. "Basiten, take the rear. We'll try to deal with the touger enemies." he advised the elf.

Lina nodded. "Lets go then." She headed for the entrance, letting the doors swing open on thier own to reveal a dark interior. The only lighting int he Stratus spire was from the windows on the stairs to each level.

Miraldae followed quietly after Lina. He had never been to the Stratus Spire before, mostly because he had never had a reason, so he didn't quite know what to expect. "After you." he said with a small grin and a small bow.
