Reed backed away as well, one hand resting on the butt of his revolver, as he sought to put distance between himself and the cages. The two were able to project fire and ice....

Koinu jumped back and hissed feeling something bad then he started to run away

(( Actually Toushi is the one who projects ice. Kali has no powers. ))
Kasai raised a hand and tried to make fire come out to help her, but nothing happened since the Fera around the cage kept her from using her power. She continued slashing at the cage with her sword.
Kali stopped after a while and dropped her katana as her arms shook. Her eyes began to uncloud a bit. She looked over at Travis. "K-kill... m-me..."

"V-voice... telling me... k-kill..." Kali said as she tried to fight back to keep herself under control. "I... w-want... to kill... N-no! I d-don't..." She held her head, trembling.
Kasai continued slashing at the cage, but to no avail. Whatever was possessing or controlling the two girls obviously had a stronger hold on Kasai.

Reed shook his head. Kali was harmless. Right. So, that left Kasai... wait. "Maybe it's this island affecting them?" Reed wondered aloud.

 Toushi took a step back from Kasai. She saw Koinu run away and wondered who was doing this.

"C-can't..." Kali said as she picked up her sword again. She was about to swing it at the cage again but stopped. She started to bring it to her neck, her arms trembling terribly.
Kasai was starting to get tired, but kept slashing at the cage.

Kali dropped the katana. Her eyes widened when she realized something. "V-voice... f-from... K-Kasai?..." she managed to say.
Kasai stopped slashing, getting tired.

"I d-don't know..." Kali said as she tried to ignore the voice in her head. It seemed to be coming from Kasai, though it wasn't her voice. "Not.. her voice.."
Kasai had to give up, and she glared at Kabaal.

Kasai didn't notice that the Travis was aiming his handgun at her.
Kali saw what Travis was doing. She was about to say something, but her eyes began to cloud over some more and she clutched to her head, tears forming in the corner of her eyes. She was seeing memories of herself from the last two years, when she was at the Coliseum. The memories of her killing others, something she had loved to do before.
