A few moments after speaking to the pair, Aya seemed to become aware of something that the captain had missed. Since she had known Kana for much longer, it was likely that she was able to more easily detect that something about him was wrong. Jonu knew that the girl's mother was the most respectable medical ninja that he had ever heard of in his extensive travels and figured that the woman's talent must have rubbed off on her daughter at least a little. The man was happy that she immediately took charge of the situation, for he only had enough experience to make the sick as comfortable as possible until more experienced people could be reached. He usually had a medic aboard his ships and in the off chance that one wasn't present, or it was the medic who was sick, the patient would have to wait until the ship reached a port, for Jonu feared that having any nonprofessional attempt to dress the wounds would only result in harming the wounded person more. Without a word or even nod of approval, the captain dashed to the farmer's well and filled up a bucket full of fresh water before quickly bringing it back to the Kun Kumo and handing over to the boy, figuring that he was well enough to drink it on his own. As he waited for Kana to take the water, the captain listened to what the former soldier had to say about the Orochi village and the corrupt army, and thanked the man in the form of a smile and a nod. For now the team would worry about Kana's condition and then make plans as soon as he was healed. If they needed to take a day or two to rest, they would do so. Jonu would rather turn around and head back to Shimagakure than risk the lad's health.

Acting quickly while she tore at the rotted log, Aya had to grab the correct bug before he went scurrying into another crack in the log. These bugs hated the sun light, but weren't as quick as cockroaches when hit by it. This made it easier for Aya to grab the bug and hold it within the palms of her hands while running back. The girl was prepared, but not as well prepared as she wanted to be. A container for the bug, a wet towel to keep the herbs and moss moist while she prepared the liquid, those things would be nice, but they were on the field in a foreign country and Aya couldn't haul everything around with her. Tightly squeezing her hands shut in a dome, the girl began the sprint back to the farm house.
The run back seemed much longer than the run out to the forest. Aya had been very focused on her task and very organized with her thoughts when she figured out what was wrong with Kana. Remembering how she would always complain about learning the medical techniques and knowledge her mother always pounded her with, Aya was truly thankful for it now. Ever since she was young, she had been fascinated by ninjutsu and not very interested in the herbs and processes of poisons and antidotes or hardly anything medical. The girl had complained and slacked off when her mother had charged her with studying the healing technique. It had been the technique that Aya used the most! For a breif moment, Aya wondered just what her mother was doing now back in Shimagakure...
The thought had come and gone rather quickly as Aya's blue eyes grabbed view of the farm house. Her legs began to cry out as she picked up her pace and sprinted as fast as she could. They were lucky that Kana's symptoms started now and not while they were out on the road. Aya wouldn't have been able to properly create the antidote if she didn't have some sort of lab or kitchen to work in. Glancing at Kana, she didn't say a word to him as she walked into the house in fear that she may stop and coo him. "Excuse the intrusion," Aya said as she walked into the house which had been offered to the group to rest in the night before. "I have to ask to use your kitchen," Aya said courteously, but with a slight sense of urgency.

For a moment, Aya felt a little panicky since she didn't know where anything was or if there were any good utensils to use. In her flicker of fear and uncertainty, Aya stubbed her toe on a chair in the kitchen. The jarring pain to her toe made her lose her grip on the dome she had holding the bug. The slight stumble forward also let the bug fly out of her hands and onto the floor. This was a house on a farm with floors that said so. The bug almost seemed to blend into the dirty dark wooden floors. "Nu~," Aya whined as she dropped down to her hands and knees to search for the bug, hoping that it didn't fall between any cracks and escape! The girl definitely had a stroke of luck as she spotted the bug right before it headed down a knot hole. Slamming a cupped hand over the bug, Aya had it trapped. She looked up and around for a jar to put the bug in while she worked on the herbs first. Spotting one high up in a cupboard, Aya carefully pinched the bug between two fingers before getting up to grab the jar.
Rising up to the tips of her toes, Aya finally grabbed the jar and placed the bug inside. Since the bug would only be in there for a little while, Aya didn't bother to poke holes in it. It would actually be more helpful if the bug died in the jar due to lack of oxygen, instead of Aya trying t kill it without puncturing anything. After taking a deep breath after dealing with the bug, Aya set the jar aside while she took the herb and the moss out of her pack. The moss was already drying out, so Aya made sure to get the moist immediately. She needed some juice from the fine roots of the moss that hadn't greened.

The task to create the serum for the antidote against the rabies was quite tedious, but easy to do. Making any serum that needed to be injected was always tedious, but Aya did it nonetheless. She also did quite a number on the farmhouse's kitchen. As she walked out of the kitchen, she left herbs, moss, crushed up bug and many untensils out on the counters. Her mess was worth what she had made, because during her making of this, she remembered how viciously torn up Karu had been after the encounter with the jackals. Stopping Haish and giving him a serum for the woman, Aya apologized for the mess and the kitchen and hoped that the antidote would make up for it.
Immediately after handing the antidote to him, Aya turned to the door and bolted out to the deck where she still found Kana sitting. "Ok," Aya said lifting up the sleeve of his shirt in order to get a good look at the veins in his arm. Kana's veins weren't too hard to find, usually fit men's weren't. For some reason, guys always had larger veins than women. Inserting the needle into Kana's vein, Aya sent the warm serum into his bloodstream to being fighting off the infection. Once finished, Aya cleaned off the spot she injected him in and put a band-aid over it. The band-aid had just been a recent invention in Shimagakure and Aya thought it was rather convenient for small things such as this. "You'll start feeling better soon," Aya said softly as she remained knelt next to Kana with a hand on his arm. She was doing being doctor and was now the supporting girl that always was by his side.

Kana closed his eyes for a moment of rest as Aya called out to him. Her words were dampened by the severe throbbing that was located deep in his head, creating a very low pitched voice that made it very difficult to discern what was being said. The young mans lazy eyes looked wearily at his female companion, his infected brain wondering if she had darker alternate motives as she stalked closer to the dazed victim of what seemed like a cruel prank. Quickly the tricky witch brought her hand to his head, hopefully not trying to suck the soul straight from the apex of his body, and slowly tested the Shinobi's core temperature. Her tender fingers transitioned quickly to her wrist as if the second part of her spell. His brain felt as though it was a fairly large marshmallow being slowly roasted over a blazing fire, marshmallow like goop oozing from his nostrils and down the side of his face. His suppressed normal mind knew that Aya would never try anything so devious and understood that if anything she would try to better the boys ill state. Another mummer of deep voices was audible to the sick one just before Aya began to rearrange the fabric on his person.
Unmerciful pains stretched throughout the young mans body, his nerve endings screaming for relief from the tip of his nose down to the smallest toe on the auburn haired teenager's foot. The wound on his shoulder looked like glazed blood but didn't show any significant healing progress, which could be a problem for the teams mission. More unrecognizable voices sounded and reverberated within the pale eardrum, which instructed him to sit on the bench. Kana stood as if deaf and dumb, only when Aya had tenderly placed her hand on his shoulder and shown him wear to sit was he able to reconstruct what she was trying to say. He lied on the bench in the stupefied state, his multicolored eyes staring as if their only objective was to watch the sky vigilantly. Deep voices of conversation boomed out of the young mans sight, the evil forces planning on what torture would suit the Shinobi best.
A rugged voice was heard with keen ears and the boy could tell that another man had entered the vicinity. By an unknown force heavy eyelids shut like a vault door, pressing against each other with a sense of urgency to race towards the opposite end. When they reopened a small pale was placed on the young mans chest with the pale fingertips gripping the sides. 'Drink' A voice in his head insisted, commanding the zombiefied Kun' Kumo to act. Kana sat up slowly and sipped the water, the free willed organs seemingly fighting the liquid with every inch of their being. A light gurgle was sounded from the throat before the substance drained into the stomach. Quicker than he could take his first sip the young lady was back with a needle in her hand, ready to inject the deadly toxin's direct into the shinobi's bloodstream. Auburn hair flipped to the side as the needle penetrated his skin, creating a squirmy and uneasy Kun' Kumo. Kana looked to his side and met eyes with the young female doctor who had quickly and easily dispatched the illness that had put him out of commission. He slipped his pale fingertips into hers, and it was the only thing he could do to stop from having an outburst of rage. "Th... a.. k" The impaired boy strained to speak. "Ya... Eew" Kana said finishing with a smile that took all of his might. Slight spasms continued to stress in his lower back for a few moments before the antidote began to take its effect.

Jonu was relieved that Aya had managed to quickly find the ingredients that she had sought out to disinfect Kana's injury. The captain could tell that the boy had been losing his grasp on things because of the way that his eyes had looked around as if he had no idea where he had been. Since the Kun Kumo obviously needed some rest, the squad leader decided that the three would take a day off from the mission, figuring that the farmer and his family wouldn't mind them staying a little longer. "If it be alright with you, my fine sir, I believe we will rest here for the day and set out when the lad is feeling a little better." With that said, Jonu turned to his squad, a reassuring smile curling his lips. "This doesn't mean we be wastin' our time and gettin' sloppy, hear me? Even you will have to work a little, laddy." He wasn't sure if Kana was still out of it or not, but his response would soon tell. "Your bunshins were quite convincing, I must say. I was a little saddened to see that you didn't 'ave any more tricks up your sleeve." The captains eyes narrowed a little as he continued to debate whether or not he was being too hard on the Kun Kumo by giving him an exercise so shortly after he had been dazed. "I want you to put that noggin of yours to use and think up some sort of genjutsu technique that you may be able to utilize. For this, you may even have to invent your own. This task won't be easy, but that's why Aya and I are here to help!"
After addressing Kana, the man turned to Aya, allowing his grin to grow a little larger. "You 'ave shown me a lot during this mission, lass, but I still feel you be missin' something that will make you truly powerful." What Aya lacked wasn't as clear cut as it had been for Kana, so the man decided to leave it up to her to figure out on her own. "I know you, like meself, use the water element. I'm sure that you know as well as I that the element is occasionally difficult to come by." Jonu wasn't sure how adept the girl was with ninjutsu, since he had only spotted a glimpse of one of her clones, but what he had planned would surely tell. "Yah see thah well over there?" He half shrugged towards the direction he had traveled to collect the rejuvenating liquid for Kana. "There be plenty of water in that to be certain. I want you to see if you can control it with your chakra from this distance. All yeh need to do for now is swish it 'round a bit, nothing fancy just yet. There be water in just about every part of this world, yeh juss' need to focus hard and find it!" Satisfied with what he had assigned the children, Jonu took a seat on the ground in front of the farmer's house, eager to see if Kana was still capable of functioning and how well each of the genin would do with their training.

As Jonu spoke about the water element to Aya, she nodded her head. If it wasn't for the pond she had spotted when they were guarding the cart, Tum would've been even more injured than he was. That clone hadn't lasted long, but it was just the little distraction she needed to get things under control. The girl's radiant blue eyes followed Jonu's direction towards the well that was a far ways off. The pond had been very close, right at the edge of the road for Aya to use. It was her first time not actually standing in the water to create a clone, so it was hard to pull it off, but she had done it with the aid of her adrenaline. The girl really wasn't ready to leave Kana's side yet and she didn't want to remove her hand from his arm, but Jonu was right. She knew that where they were heading next, there was plenty of water to tap into since they would be traveling into a swamp, but if they encountered the army on the way there, Aya had no guarantee that there would be a swamp pond nearby to create a clone or use her hiding mist technique. The girl didn't want to see Kana in this condition again and the only way to help avoid it was to make herself more battle ready.
"Hai," she said with a nod as she slowly removed her hand from Kana's arm. Her fingers gently brushed against his skin as they moved away giving off a gentle and calming tone to leave him in. "Don't strain yourself too hard," Aya said to Kana softly in almost a whisper. Blinking her eyes several times as if she was flicking through different ways to view the world around her. Taking a slow and deep breath, Aya took a seat at the edge of the porch in front of Kana. With the seal of the ram, Aya held her hands in front of her and closed her blue orbs for a moment to try and envision the water in the well that could be there. She wished she had some ability like the byakugan to see the water in the well, but for now she would just have to rely on her sole affinity to guide her and send its energy her way.

The syringe punctured deep into his arm, the nullifying syrup spreading through the anatomy of the boy quickly to combat the virus that inhabited him. The young mans pale fingers tensed whilst the cool elixir advanced through veins and arteries, creating a full fist that claimed its burden of pain with his arm and infected wound. A primitive grunt escaped the grit teeth of the young man that signified his primeval emotions and state of mind as he lied on the bench. Wave after wave of arctic chill surged through his being, the open wound suffering the worst from the blizzard within the Shinobi's presence. To Kana it felt like an invisible aura surrounded his existence, encasing him from the infectious world that shot daggers at the traveling group from around every turn.
A healing tide rippled from the Kun' Kumo's head down to his toes, releasing him of his deaf and dumb illness. His loose jaw jiggled from a moment without any words sprouting from his mouth, but after a few tries to speak he managed to mummer something low as his fingers curved to the edges of the bench. "I. . . Alright." These simple words were hopefully signal enough to relieve the worried partner from her position at Kana's side. He strained to sit upright for a second until his body adjusted and his vision un-blurred the foggy faces that surrounded the recovering teenager. A gurgling noise sounded from deep in his throat and soon after Kana discharged a large bit of spit into the dirt, letting his more manly side show at the moment.
His multicolored eyes took a second to look at each face individually before surveying the rest of their environment, he could see Aya and Jonu with one other unknown person. The man didn't seem like an enemy at the time, but in these crazy parts anything was possible. Jonu started talking in his stereotypical pirate snarl, and noted not to leave the auburn Shinobi from his conversation. Resting for a few days seemed like the most logical option for the trio, with one slightly injured it left Jonu to plan the attack and the Aya to train for the upcoming battles. Kana chuckled a bit when his mentor brought up his bunshins and how convincingly lifelike he had replicated them, but added that the Genjutsu adept young man needed another technique to use during battle. "Invent?" Kana repeated in a curious tone, wondering if Ichi had ever created any special techniques of his own. He leaned over the edge of the bench and began to ponder the idea of a Genjutsu. What were the main things that created a Genjutsu? First off he would need a general idea of what he would want the technique to do. He had an idea but wasn't sure that it was totally possible, but he believed that anything could be replicated with practice. Fire, it would need to be something with fire to go with his clan and element affinity. "Fire. . ." Kana said aloud as he watched his partner manipulating the opposite element. The two contrasted each other quite well, like vanilla and chocolate or a princess and a hobo.
Kana's fingers ran through his clean auburn hair, removing it from his face as the boy thought quietly. He ran the hand seals through his mind for a moment, the Rat, Ox, Tiger, Hare, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Ram, Monkey, Bird, Dog and Boar. Which of these would be the best of him to start the Jutsu off with? "Hrm. . ." Kana said in deep thought, his finger rubbing up and down his cheek bone as always. "The Tiger!" Kana exclaimed happily. The Tiger seal was usually associated with fire element manipulation, so it only made sense that this would be one of the required hand seals. He gave Aya a friendly wink and continued to say in a flirtatious tone. "Your gettin' pretty good at that."

With her fingers held tightly in the seal of the ram, Aya's mind ran towards the well as she actually felt the water there. Her eyes opened widely as she realized that her affinity actually did give off a certain amount of energy. If it was energy it was just a presence, an aura of sorts that beckoned to her. The water was in that area, but the girl just wasn't sure how far down it was or how much was in the well. That would have to be her next step. She knew where the water was located. She could feel its passive presence lying calmly in the area before. Like a sleeping kitten in the warm sun, the water was a hibernating force in the cool depths of the well. The girl felt a little jump of excitement and adrenaline kick in as she found this new strength in detecting where her element could be located. Jonu was right when he said that there was water located in almost every part of this world and she just needed to find it. She could feel where her target was and once she had a strong hold on its overall potential, she would attempt what Jonu had requested of her and slightly swish the water around.
Aya was so focused on her own task that she hadn't heard Kana mumbling about fire or the humming of his deep thought. It was amazing how well Aya had come along from near attention disorder to toning out everything and focusing on the one task she needed to complete. It had been Ichi's training that had brought her away from the continuous thoughts of what was for dinner, where was that pretty butterfly fluttering off too, when could they be done with training and go enjoy the beach. All those thoughts were now filtered out of her mind and she was free to train and focus on what she needed. The girl came back when she heard the happy exclamation of Kana's voice. He had said the tiger and Aya knew what techniques was associated with and she was not good at those! Genjutsus and fire techniques, one Aya was horrible at the other she couldn't even perform.
As her head turned back to look at him, the girl caught a wink of his red-green eyes. She smiled cutely at the compliment he gave her. "I can tell you're feeling better already!" Aya said, glad that her more potent serum was able to get Kana's current effects under control. However, she wasn't about to take all the credit for his condition being so well. Kana had been infected with poison before, so his body was already built up a bit to resist the effects of fast acting bacteria. "You already have an idea for a technique?" the girl asked him. "Is it a fire one or a genjutsu?" she asked again, wondering just what Kana had in mind. She tilted her head, smiling at him with admiration. Kana was pretty creative, so she was excited to see what he would come up with.

After asking her question to Kana, Aya turned back around in her spot on the porch to face the well once again. Kana had a brilliant mind as did Aya, but their brilliance shined in different areas. They were the perfect duo and team and Aya couldn't wait to prove that to Shinichi since he seemed to be the one person that didn't trust their abilities. Aya too hoped to invent her very own special technique like Kana was doing right now. She was sure that the slight dementia he was induced in would even make his creative mind flow harder. For now, Aya's mind wasn't bursting with creativity. At this moment, her mind was focused on training and she would let Kana think up something on his own.
The water was there in that general area. It was in the well and it was calm and cool. The girl just needed to feel with her sensed where it was leveled at in the ground, how far it went down and how much was there all together. Taking a deep breath, Aya put her hands back into the seal of the ram, hoping to create that focused sense once again. It always helped her to use the seal of the ram or the dragon and then close her eyes. Such was a routine she had since she had began training under Ichi as a genin. Learning to climb the trees with her chakra was the first feat that he had given Aya and Kana. That required control and focus. Naturally having control, Aya had worked on her focusing skills and began to get her thoughts under control. "Focus," she whispered to herself as she reached out to that water.

As her first attempt to reach out to the water failed, Aya felt a pain in her throat as if a sticky artichoke had been caught there. A bubbling of adrenaline subtly swirled within her chest as she accepted the failure to reaching out to the water. Aya had trained so hard in the arts of ninjutsu that she believed this would've been an easy feat, yet a helpful one. Her ninjutsu skills had been sharpened like the fine point of a senbon, but her focusing ability was still as dull and blunt as a wooden club. The next breath she took in was an uneasy one. It wasn't steady at all nor did it really calm her down. Instead she felt the swirling adrenaline within her chest release into her arms. Aya was anxious. Her thoughts were starting to wandering to other subjects that felt more important than the training she was doing right now. The girl shifted her sitting position as the itchiness began to set in. "Mnm!" Aya coughed within her throat to clear it and try to calm herself down. She knew where her thoughts were headed and she wasn't about to let them wander into that direction.
Taking a second breath before attempting to reach out to the water within the well again, Aya was now forcing herself to calm down. Those interlaced fingers were beginning to turn white from the hard squeeze she was putting into the ram seal. The small amount of adrenaline running through her body was really getting her chakra warmed up to do something. The girl wanted to get up and get going to find Ichi. That was exactly where her mind was wandering to and that's where it had just ended up. Aya had a feeling that she would have to face the Orochi's once again if they were attempting to salvage things from the wreckage. They would be anger and filled with thoughts of revenge the moment they would lay eyes on the girl and boy from Shimagakure. Without even knowing it, Aya had opened her blue eyes and was staring intensely off into the woods that she had just gathered ingredients from. She felt as if she was leaving her childhood behind at only the age of fourteen.
The opened eyes were truly opening up to the road ahead of her. Aya had a feeling of what they would find when they reached the Orochi village. She was highly aware of the obstacles that were going to stand in front of her. Aya felt as if she understood fully what she was doing by leaving the village and supervision of Shinichi and Yuki. They were now the mother and father of the village, no longer was Ichi. The girl would be breaking away from them now and venture into becoming an adult. Aya felt nervous for a moment, but as she turned around to look at Kana sitting so peacefully in the chair, that nervous feeling dissipated. She knew that she would be alright as long as she had her best friend, her comrade and the person that gave her those wonderful butterflies in the pit of her stomach. She knew that they could do it. No matter what innocence they were leaving behind in order to rescue their sensei and the strongest man they ever knew.

With a bright smile on her face, Aya leaned back and poked Kana playfully in the leg. There was no being scared or nervous when the Kun Kumo was right next to her happy, healthy and training hard just like her. "Well, is it a genjutsu or fire technique," she asked again as she swayed her shoulders from side to side cutely. "I can't continue my training until I know!" she said tugging on his pant leg as she continued to flash that bright happy smile at him. She felt so warm now that the adrenaline had calmed down and she was in an optimistic mood. That warmness was just exploding in a joyous aura around her. She had no doubts that she wouldn't be able to focus on her training now. The idea of moving forward with Kana to a level that would raise both their persona above what Shinichi and Yuki determined just made her giddy and giggly.
Aya hadn't seen Kana use his fire techniques very often. He seemed to like his academy genjutsu more than those of his clan and that of which Ichi taught him with the Flower Phoenix technique. So, the girl had a feeling that he was going to pick a genjutsu. However, she wasn't going to say anything. Instead she would remain looking up to him with those bright blue eyes and the radiant smile waiting for his answer before she returned to her own training. Her fingers continued to grasp the edge of his capris swaying the fabric lightly back and forth as if her hand were the wind. Any wind on this cool day wouldn't be good, but the air was warmer than usual since spring was right around the corner. The girl's smile continued to glow as she thought of fun trips to the beach and all the flowers that would be blooming in the coming season. She was especially excited for the hibiscus flowers to bloom, since that was her favorite flower ever since Kana had given it to her that one day as as present.
The girl couldn't take it anymore as Kana continued to think. "I bet its a genjutsu," she said cutely, letting go of his pant leg. "Ichi is the master of genjutsu," Aya added on, knowing that Kana was taking to Ichi's fighting style. Her partner even had the ninja to of the Dark Flame, which had been Ichi's sword reborn after the fight in the lightning country. Aya knew that she and Kana would be doing something just as noble as their Kage did one day.

A faint smile spread across the young shinobi's face directed towards his companion. "Heh, feeling better than ever!" Kana said in a chipper tone, holding back the still constant headache. The pain was deluded by Aya's potion but still created a haze in the mind of the Shinobi. He pressed his pale fingers through the crimson hair that sprouted from his head, as if to cleanse himself of any internal pain. "Well. . ." Kana started to say with a small smile, still trying to work the kinks out of his rough outline for his new technique. "It's a cool technique." He said teasingly to his companion, trying to delayer her just that much longer. "Heh, I guess you will never get your training done then!" Kana said with a bright smile, leaning towards her a playful way. He laughed a bit and continued to think about his technique, hoping it would pan out to become a great jutsu for battle like Jonu intended it to be. He brought his hands together and intertwined them, creating the Tiger seal.
Personally the young man always thought that the Tiger seal always looked more like a rabbit, but obviously looks weren't the important thing for channeling chakra. Next he formed the ram seal, figuring that most genjutsu used it to concentrate a lot of chakra smoothly at once. "Tiger then Ram!" Kana said with another smile to his lovely partner. A fire genjutsu that used the Tiger and Ram seals to create the illusion is all that even Kana knew about his technique. He needed a better outline. "Hrm. . ." Kana hummed as he thought, his hand returning to his chin to stroke his cheek bone as always. "Does fire frighten you if it gets out of control?" He asked Aya curiously. The auburn haired shinobi tried to think logically, if fire was near you what would you do? 'Try to put it out, of course. But, what if it trapped you? Well. . .' Kana thought to himself before rephrasing his question to Aya. "If you were trapped by fire would you be frightened?" He asked with a burning look in his eyes.
After a few moments he kind of chuckled and said to Aya. "You can guess all day but I'm never going to tell ya!" He looked up to her and said "You'll just have to figure it out when I try and use it!" In reality the Kun' Kumo boy had no clue on how a trapping genjutsu would help in a battle, unless you were trying to distract someone from an objective. Indeed the flowers were starting to push from the deep greenery that they resided within, and it was one of the young mans favorite seasons. When all of the world seemed to be at a beautiful peace. No problems ever existed within the colorful meadows of countless flowers, only love and peace could strive in such a place. But, he thought back to the pinkish flower pedal he hand held earlier that week, even their death will come eventually. He gave a sigh as he waited for his partners answer, she was the only one he could count on to give her a real opinion. He realized as he waited that death wasn't what his main focus should be, he was supposed to be focused on the good times he could have with Aya and all of his friends now.
+2 Aya

Aya smiled as Kana used the seal of the ram, which was one of her stronger channeling seals as well. Her next favorite was the dragon, which was used in many water techniques. It was a more advanced seal to use, but it was great for molding and multitasking with water. As Aya began interlacing her own fingers into the seal of the ram, Kana asked her a question. The girl tried to think of the last time she witnessed an out of control fire. When Ichi used the fire techniques, it was a magnificent sight, but when fire wasn't in control of any of her comrades, it truly was something to fear. Aya didn't have any strong water techniques to put out a fire... yet. When Kana rephrased his question, Aya had to think about it for a moment longer.
"Trapped... Like in a burning building? That would definitely be frightening," Aya answered Kana, putting it in a scenario for herself in order to answer. "Being trapped with no direct path to escape, especially by fire, would be a frightening thought to anyone. Even to someone with the water affinity," Aya implemented, taking her answer just a step farther. There was a water ninjutsu that trapped a person in a ball of water. Aya wondered if Kana was trying to think up something like that, except with fire. She wouldn't even begin to understand how one would do that, but she wasn't very familiar with how fire worked.

[Forgot to Roll...]
"Aww~" Aya pouted playfully at Kana as he said he wouldn't tell her. She knew that he'd probably be testing out his new technique on her once he had it all figured out. Kana had played a mean trick on Aya once before when they were training and he was practicing his genjutsu. That was a long time ago when they had just became genin... or was it when they were still in the academy? Aya's memory was hazy. She had been with Kana so much that all the time they spent together was compiling up into one memory. "Hopefully, I'll get to see your technique by the end of our journey," Aya said happily as she pressed her finger back into the seal of the ram to continue her own training with the well that was across the yard.
Still it felt like Aya couldn't get a grasp on how deep the water was within the well. It felt as though the seal of the ram could only take her so far with searching for her resources. She moved her hands to seal the of the dragon, a more advanced seal that would hopefully channel her chakra in a different way, so that she could better perceive the depth and amount of water within the well that lay before her. Kana's first and then second seal count to his technique actually pushed her to change from one seal to another. Her hands were beginning to sweat as she constantly channel chakra through her body and commanded herself to focus on the object ahead of her. Closing her eyes once again, Aya focused on her breathing and the surroundings that were encasing the water from her. Aya had a feeling that her second affinity would be earth, but she was nowhere near mastering her first element to even being thinking about earth.
