Hare was wandering around the garden, taking in the candy sweet scent of the frugaurn tree, and it's beautiful flowers, which would eventually turn into the tart 'berries' that the tree was known for. He smiled at the tree, and tipped his hat as he walked away, turning instead to the pleasant sight of a lovely patch of the brightest emerald grass. He bent down and stuck his nose into the luscious blades, his sensitive nostrils filling with the scent of dirt, or at least what it smelled like here. ~~~Hare~~~Where are you~~? he looked up from his reverie to hear the voice of Todd, and immediately jumped up to run to his bidding. He ran to his friends voice and stopped as he caught sight of his splendid figure. "Todd!" He beamed, running up and giving him a spastic hug.

"Well thank you for letting me... wait a minute, what do you mean PUPPET-THING?!" he said a little shocked, because she was the first one who ever realized he was a Mannequin on first sight. *She's quick, she is.* knotts commented in a false Irish accent.

"Well, yer not a skeleton.." Molly informs him, ".. and yer head seems to be made of wood.. therefore you are a puppet-boy-thing." She collects the hollowed out gourd, resting it on a hip as she stands. The spoon in her other hand points to the new stranger. "What'cha want then? Speak up and be quick about it. In case you haven't noticed, the sky is about to open up." Her words are accented by the spoon, which gets raised towards the looming clouds as she mentioned the coming rains. "I've no intention of trudging off in the mud. I've got a dinner to make."

Poetic Lilly Alice gave a wicked little giggle as she watched a small white rabbit, much like the one she used to know, get caught by a fox. She took no small amount of glee in the pain it suffered. The White Rabbit had saved her from the fire, but not her family. No, the wretched Rabbit forced her to listen to their screams, now she thought she knew why. Screams were delicious. Something about the raw aching of a person’s throat as they begged for mercy…oh yes, she loved screams. Unknowingly, she was very near the tree that led her to Wonderland, but that knowledge would have meant little to her. So very little, her only reaction might be a request to strangle the White Rabbit, since the Cheshire Cat often came to visit her. And by now, she was aware that he was not all quite there, but no matter. "Well, well, well.. we're in a fine mood today, aren't we Alice?" a familiar voice purrs down from the tree branch above. Although there doesn't appear to be anything there, Alice has become quite accustomed to these little un-appearances. "Still harbouring nothing but affection for your old, would-be savior?" As the words come, a fierce set of teeth slowly fade into view just above the branch, supported by nothing at all. "Honestly, I can't see how it would come to any surprise that his warning was too late to save anyone but yourself," the fangs glisten as every syllable is formed and the teeth rise languidly, floating along the branch a foot or two. The leaves along the edge of the tree limb rustle faintly as the teeth lower, as if the invisible body was settling down. "After all, Rabbit isn't exactly known for his punctuality." The last utterance forming into cruel, cheshire grin.

Alice’s previously happy demeanor soured at the thought of the wretched rabbit that she blamed for all her pain and suffering. That damned coward made her run from the house. ”No, I suppose not…but never fear I can guarantee he will be on time for his meeting with the Reaper,” Alice replied, appearing for all purposes to be talking with air. Of course, it was these demented conversations that kept her here, but Sweet Alice could not know that. Cowards deserved death, she thought smugly, and she wanted to be the one to hand him over. ”Any news on the Hatter or the Hare?” Alice inquired. She often requested information on her old friends, or anything outside this place. ”Or any news period?” She often wondered if one day Cheshire would help her escape, but she would never know.

"The Hare?" Comes the sardonically cheerful response, "Why, the Hare is just as simple and spastic as he ever was. Though, you have missed the evolution of his hopeless and rather homo-erotic infatuation with his madly hatted companion.." An outline of the feline's form can be made out now, and glowing yellow eyes flare into existence above the skin-crawling grin. ".. who by the way, is still longing for the day when he will encounter your supreme loveliness again.."

Alice grinned a parody of sweet amusement. She felt pleasure at this knowledge. Stupid, silly Hare would never know better. Alice, not for the first time, wished to be in Wonderland, this time to encourage Hare, only to watch the hopeless love fail miserably. "How amusing. Hare is chasing Hatter, and Hatter is chasing me...and I would be happy to see Hatter, if not for not knowing a way back..." Alice groused.

"But you have always known the way, my dear.." The cat's body now only vaguely transparent against the leafy background of the tree's canopy. "Just as it has always known you. I can only conclude that you don't really want to come back to us," his scraggled tail sways whimsically to and fro from beneath his perch. "That is why you continue to summon me here, is it not my pet?"

"Those must be some eys though, to see that from way over there." Pinocchio complimented, chuckling to himself, as he walked towards them.

Red returned with the beaver and resumed her place at river, skinning and cleaning. She was soon done with the rabbit. But a problem soon arose. She knew nothing of cooking, so she was not sure in what state Molly wanted the meat. She resolved to stay silent until Molly asked for something. Putting aside the cleaned meat on some cloth, she started to skin the beaver.
The puppet had stayed, it seemed, but Red cared not, having no like nor dislike of the odd creature. So she made no move to speak to it. It was her nature, after all, to be silent.
She's not so little anymore...

Belle found the source of the noise she had heard. There were several voices coming from a nearby river. She peered around a tree and saw two women and a... "Is that a, wooden boy?" She whispered to Odette, who was standing by a tree next to her. And here, I thought I had seen everything bizarre. She looked at the group, again, surveying whether they hostile or not. "The girl with blood on her looks rather dangerous." Belle whispered. "I had heard rumors of a maniac in red in the forest. But never thought it to be true. Maybe she isn't the one of the rumors." Belle had a feeling that the girl in red was the maniac. She kept her bow knocked with the arrow, just in case, she didn't want to hurt anyone if at all possible. Odette hid behind a tree next to Belle. She too saw the group and the wooden boy. "I've never seen a wooden person before." Odette said in reply to Belle. She agreed with Belle about the girl with blood stains. It made Odette rather nervous. "Oh, don't say that Belle." She said, knocking an arrow on her bow as well. She didn't want to fight if needed. She would rather have the company of someone other than Belle. She was very moody. ((EDITED))

In the style of......Todd patted Hare gently on the back and then pulled away. "How pleasant this day is... Yet we have not a single visitor. Won't anyone enjoy a cup of tea?" He asked, at first talking to Hare, and then to himself. Inside he heard an infatuated Yes. Todd smiled. "Silly Hatter, we can not do any of that until we have yet another visitor." Todd then took off his hat and balanced the rim on the tip of his finger, he then spun the rather large hat in circles and then popped it back on his head. "Tea it is, Hare. WE must have tea. Assemble the table. I have feeling we might just get a visitor today. A very happy unbirthday present to us indeed." This was rather a ritual in their day. No concept of time at all. They just did as Todd or Hatter pleased. Tea when he wanted it. Walks when he needed it. Sleep when he thought it necesary. Todd smirked at his friend, the Hare, and gestured to the doorway. They would be, of course, having tea in the tea-room. A grand table, with splendid suprises. Splendid indeed, Hatter agreed with himself. .....Ten Sixths

Draw_Kill Holding his arms, the only part of his body that showed, in front of him, Pinocchio chuckled. "well I guess your right about that. but man, that must be some sight you have, being able to spot that from way over here." he compliments as he trots over to them. The of his body save for his arms and head were covered with this and that, he wore a scarf with marking on it around his neck and other various clothing a normal traveler would. "Oh for the love of Pete.. " Molly exclaims in exasperation, waving the wooden spoon in the air. Suddenly a roll of thunder overhead causes her to look up to the sky.. just in time for a drop of rain to land on her cheek. Her shoulders slump in resignation as Molly lets out a sigh. "That's it. We're done 'ere. Come on Red.. back to camp." she grumbles, leaning down to scoop of the rock holding the pulp. Rather annoyed now, Molly quite specifically ignores the newcommer as she collects her things, all the while muttering to herself. "You ask a person a question, twice no less, you be expectin a bloody answer.. but no, no one cares what Molly be askin.. Why would we be carin about that? Well maybe because Molly is the one that cooks yer food and knows where you bloody well sleep.. you'd best be payin attention to Molly.. " Her grumbles taper off incoherently as the rain begins to slowly come down around them. She hurries as best she can back up the rocky slope and through the forest, heading towards the cave.
