Shrugging, Sukotto explained, "Because such things are very troublesome and sometimes the only thing to do when in a troublesome situation is smile. Sukotto traced Senritsu's smirk with his gaze after she made her comment about what was between the two of them. He figured that she was teasing him and that she understood that time could either change many things, or leave things the same; it was tough to say. "Well, in any case, I suppose that we'll eventually see what happens! And of course I expected you to have the brains, I just didn't think that your hands would follow your mind's orders so fluidly." Senritsu didn't start the chakra manipulation stage of her training as well as she had the hand seal stage. However, Sukotto figured that she would quickly finish after determining how to focus her chakra correctly just once. She would then have an easy time remembering what to do and probably have no trouble afterwards. He hoped to have his forth stage of training completed by the time she had finished with her second so that he would be able to help her with the third, because it required a partner.

Sukotto thought back to the time when he had learned the Body replacement technique.
"You know, I lived in an Orochi village inside of the Rice Country before I moved to Shimagakure." He then imagined the faces of those who had raised him. "An Orochi couple found me alone and wandering through the swamps when I was just a toddler. Unfortunately I have no memories of my life before then. They were very kind to me though, sort of like an aunt or an uncle would be." The Uchiha sighed as he thought of what happened to his foster father on their last day together, the day which held the event that unlocked Sukotto's first stage of the Sharingan. "Anyway, my foster father trained me in all of these basic techniques. All I ever wanted to learn was ninjutsu though, so I'd read through every ninjutsu book that he would bring to me. I couldn't leave the house because the Orochi shinobi would have most likely taken me away in an attempt to extract the power of the Uchiha bloodline limit." Before making another run at his training, Sukotto looked up into the sky and smiled a smile that could warm the chilly ocean water that gurgled against the side of the cliff before looking back at Senritsu and speaking once more. "I hope that you and I can have as much fun as him and me used to."

Dealing with a problem by only smiling? What good would that do! It's not even facing the problem head on! Not that it should matter to Senritsu, whatever the boy did was none of her business to begin with. But that didn't mean she couldn't mentally attack him for it without his knowing. "My hands?" Looking down at her fingers, letting her hands flip over to show her palms, and the back of her hands, she returned her eyes upwards. "How do my hands have anything to do with what my mind wants it to do? It's my body, I have fun control of it. I control when I move, I control when I use the bathroom, I choose when I walk, I choose when I stretch, I choose when to write with my fingers, I choose, not my body." Her eyes shifted downwards once more to her thin fingers as she pondered over what it was the male Uchiha was trying to say about her hands. Senritsu only did what her mind wanted, which was to do the seals correctly. Too bad she couldn't do that with her Chakra. It seemed to be the only thing she couldn't control completely.

So, it was story telling time from Sukotto, interesting. Senritsu let him speak of his old home, letting him remember whatever old memories he had of is old family and friends. "Poor boy, you know, there may be a way to remember those old memories. Before you were found I mean. But then again, there may be a reason you wouldn't want to. Due to the fact you were left as a toddler, I'm sure it was a painful past if you remembered. Either way, you're lucky. Having parents that really cared for you." A small, yet slightly sad smile spread into her lips ever so lightly before whiping it away and getting her usual face back on. She couldn't very well let Sukotto see even she had a bad past. After all, she was Senritsu, the street child, no real family and no past, her one true meaning in life was to at least get food every day and when she could, have fun and stay out of as much trouble as possible. "I'm sure whatever happeneds between me and you, it'll never be as good as your memories with your old father." Senritsu couldn't help but smile to her new found partner in mind as he smiled so kindly to her. It was odd...Very odd. Senritsu then snapped her face away from his and once more, tried to circulate the Chakra within herself, unwanting to get distracted from what she needed to do. Unfortunately her mnd was still caught onto something other than her training and she couldn't even feel a single movement within her.

"Sometimes when you're trying to train in a particular physical area, you have to work through the motions of the exercise so that your muscles remember what it is you want them to do. It isn't good to rely on your reflexes all the time, but if your hands have been trained to use the seals, then you'll automatically be able to execute them without thinking, giving you time to plan your next move or strategy." Sukotto hoped that Senritsu understood what he meant in his explanation of muscle memory. He assumed that she had at least read a little about it, but she seemed to focus on books about the mind more than the body, as he had primarily done. As for himself and his own body, the Uchiha was feeling more worn out than ever, but he was also quite close to completing the second to last training session in the schedule that he had set up for himself to learn Phoenix form. He would need to find a sparring partner after this stage. In addition, Sukotto would have to locate some weights so that the fight could be balanced. He would have asked Senritsu if she wanted to, but she really didn't seem interested in any sort of physical training and she was still slightly untrained, so he had decided to pick one of the other genin within the village, and his number one pick was Tategami Maya.

Senritsu surprised Sukotto when she seemed to show a slightly warmer side at the mention of his former life, so he decided to continue.
"I think that I'll find my memories someday. Either that or they'll find me somehow!" He took a deep and quiet breath of air before examining the side of the cliff and continuing. "My words slightly stumbled when I said that I never left the house. On occasion, I had to fetch herbs that grew in the outer areas of the swamps because my foster parents were old and slightly sickly." He continued to stare at the cliffs while a blank and emotionless look took hold of his face. "I was on my way back from one of these journeys when I spotted a group of shinobi who weren't Orochi by any stretch. One of them caught my stare with his eyes and nearly froze me in place." A big smile softened the teen's face as he turned to look at Senritsu. "It was our former kage, Uchiha Ichi. Something deep down inside of me told me that the two of us were connected in some way. He approached my foster mother, who I had been living alone with because my foster father had passed, and requested to bring me to the village." Sukotto focused his gaze into the emeralds that looked back at him. "I had that same feeling when I saw you for the first time, so either you are Uchiha or it is something that spontaneously triggers. As for the story, I'm sure you can guess the rest." Having finished what he had wanted to say, Sukotto nodded at Senritsu, thanking her for listening, and then began another attempt at his training.

"Muscle memory, hm..." Senritsu mumbled something unintelligable even to herself. Perhaps it was something about how she wouldn't need to learn Muscle memory if she was as quick thinking as she was. "Even if you were able to do them without thinking, you'd have to memorize them in your mind first before your body could do anything of the such. It takes practice and practice and practice and you know what? More practice. I told you before Sukotto, I'm not much of a patient person, my mind is quick enough to think what I need to and succeed at whatever is given to me." Thinking of ways out of things was one of Senritsu's favorite things to do so stratagy was something she enjoyed. Especially when thoughts needed to be split second decision, those were her favorite! Senritsu kept herself busy by trying to make her Chakra circulate while listening to whatever else Sukotto was saying. More things about his family probably.

"Memories can be very hard to find once lost, even then, sometimes...you might not want to remember." She sighed, looking away and down at her hands that still clasped together tightly as she listened to him continue. So, that was how he'd met his precious Ichi? A connection? She smirked, her sadness washed away as she looked upwards. "So, you claim to have had a 'connection' between me as you did with Ichi? Are you saying you have some sort of...power of some sort to sense your family? If so, why don't all Uchiha have this? I certainly didn't have any sort of connection with you when I first saw you and, I hate to say it aloud but, we are unable to ask Ichi if he felt the same. Perhaps you feel this connection to people you favor, not to the people you see as your family or sense that they are part of your Uchiha clan." Senritsu made a small little noise, signalling she was finished with talking about it and watched as he began his training again.

Sukotto agreed with Senritsu about how the mind was the most powerful tool in any situation. He merely thought that it was important to develop one's other tools so that the mind would have more to work with when various situations challenged a person. He figured that either his view was way off of the mark or that he simply wasn't expressing it clearly enough to the Uchiha female, so he decided to give up on the subject. Unfortunately, she was right about how a smile couldn't always get people out of tough spots and the trouble that he had with expressing his idea was definitely one of those. She really did seem to think a lot like he did though. It was just that she seemed more adept at transferring those thoughts into words than he did. Sukotto wondered if the fact that he was somewhat of a loner had anything to do with this weakened ability to express himself correctly.

"Ah, like I said, maybe it's just something random that happens when I see some people. I don't believe that I'm special with a unique ability or anything, but maybe I just notice subtle features that are present in members of the Uchiha clan more than in anyone else." The Uchiha was becoming mentally fatigued in a way. He realized that Senritsu asked her questions and spoke like she had because it was part of who she was. However, Sukotto wasn't sure if she was particularly enjoying his presence anymore. He decided against asking her if she wanted to do her own thing again, because she'd likely have something prepared for a repeated question such as that. If his mind felt as if it were only getting more exhausted, he would merely quiet himself as he had in similar situations, allowing the girl to do most of the talking while he listened as a silent spectator. Without another word, he turned towards the cliffs once again and made another run at his training.

Senritsu had a second or so of ignoring towards Sukotto as she fiddled with her bangles, the sound of the metals jingling and making her temporarily forget Sukotto was even around. It was kind of sad, how easily her mind could be entertained by noise and motion. It then hit her as she kept her eyes on her hand moving the metal rings around her wrist, that she was supposed to be doing her Chakra Manipulation training for learning the Jutsu Sukotto was teaching her. She didn't want to seem unappreciative of the time he was giving her so she clasped her hands together to form the Ram seal and got back to training. The younger Uchiha wondered if she could even get through with what Sukotto had given her in a time limit. It wouldn't surprise the girl if she couldn't. Chakra seemed to be annoying.

"If you can't remember what your family looked or acted like from before you were taken in by these Orochi, how can you tell either Ichi or I were part of your family? If you had remembered something about them then I might not be so against the idea of you seeing something in Ichi or myself that reminded you of them, but I can't, because you don't." Her green eyes seemed completely dull as she kept her sights on Sukotto finishing up one of his little excersizes. "Look, I'm sorry if I did or said something to anger you in some way. I say things without thinking them through sometimes and usually end up angering people that way. I don't sugarcoat my thoughts, but I won't take whatever I said back that made you so quiet because it is what I think. I don't say what I don't completely mean."

For one of the first times in his time in Shimagakure, Sukotto decided not to run off and begin the next stage of his training. He decided that he was going to help Senritsu get through her chakra training so that she could move on to more interesting things. He had similar issues with strength training when he was about the girl's age and knew how frustrating the training could turn out to be. He thought about what she had said for a few moments, wondering himself why he had felt something in his first contact with her and Ichi. "Perhaps I see something in the two of you that I see in myself when I look at my own reflection. I was used to growing up around the snake people of the Orochi village, so it was easier to distinguish Ichi from the others. I merely felt the same sort of connection with you." He closed his eyes as a cool burst of wind ruffled his hair and a shiver squirmed its way down his back. "You could very well have been right when you suggested that it might not even be a sort of clan thing. It could just be that I feel as though we could become close." The Uchiha stared out towards the sea and admired how massive it appeared to him. He decided then and there that he would take more time to notice the simple things in life rather than constantly flood it with training.

Sukotto decided to develop a few strategies that would be able of helping him and his future squad on their mission to the Bird Country. He first thought about the opponents that they would face. Unfortunately, most of the shinobi in Shimagakure utilized fairly basic techniques. The Uchiha had been witness to jutsu that he would have never imagined before. In particular, he remembered the genjutsu that had trapped him in a battle with a distorted reflection of himself on his mission on Haha Island. The clone of Sukotto fed on the chakra of the genjutsu user, which was much more than the Uchiha possessed, so the copy was actually much stronger than himself. Sukotto had trained himself to combat genjutsu before it struck him, but he still felt nowhere near ready to take one another one that was similar to the one on Haha Island. After getting his body up to speed, he needed to get his senses perfected so that he would be able to resist or break techniques that could match the ferocity of what he had seen. He figured that any shinobi with extraordinary abilities wouldn't waste their time with a few low level ninja, so he hoped that he wouldn't have to worry too much about anything besides low to medium level genjutsu. After thinking about his tactics for a short while, he responded to Senritsu's comment with a shake of his head.
"I believe that I was just a little worn from training. I like that you're open and direct with me. You have my apologies."

Getting even more irritated by this Chakra manipulation, Senritsu let a drawn out sigh escape her lips. "I don't like Chakra," Senritsu said bluntly, not to anybody in particular, but more just to say it outloud. Speaking her thoughts to the wind defintely wouldn't be something odd for the girl. Her eyes glanced up towards Sukotto for a split second before returning down to her hands and trying once more at manipulating her chakra, or even to feel it. As for now she just felt like there was nothing. She read about chakra before in her studies, but she'd never tried controling it. And that was the hard part, because what's really the key here is not actually having chakra, but being able to sufficiently control it. Because, everyone has Chakra, but only skilled ninja can correctly manipulate it to it's fullest extent. As an in-between stage here, some ninja, can partially control their Chakra. This means they can use their Chakra, but not effectively control it, which results in poorly executed justus, and more importantly, running out of Chakra early in a fight. Senritsu always had book knowledge of things, it was executing what she needed to that would be the hard part for her in everything she'd be doing.

Senritsu would need to really get her head into doing what she needed to do or else she'd be even further behind than she could be! It then hit her she'd been quiet for a bit even after he'd stopped talking. She should probably say something, but what would she say? 'Hey Sukotto I'm trying to do what I need to can you stop talking for a minute or two so I can concentrate?' Nah, too mean and disrespectful. 'Can you give me a minute?' No, because she didn't like silence or else her mind would get caught by something other than something she should be paying attention to. Might as well just give a comment on what it was he spoke about. "Perhaps. Though how you could ever feel me and you could get close is unbelievable." She smiled before continuing on. "Hm, still, I'm a very blunt person when it comes to my thoughts. Besides, youre apologies are unwanted. What reason do you have to appologize for? You were merely being yourself as I was being mine. Don't appologize again if you haven't done anything wrong, it shows you have no backbone to stand up for your own thoughts and actions. If someone says you've done something or something is wrong, and it's not, merely correct them and leave it at that. It was the other person's fault for thinking wrongly, not yours for being yourself." Senritsu tried once more at moving and controling her Chakra but failed as usual. "...I really don't like Chakra."

The Uchiha had forgotten that this was most likely Senritsu's first experience with chakra manipulation and began to think of ways to explain how to control it. He decided to reflect on the training that was included in the creation of his favorite technique, the Phoenix Flower. In the chakra control stage, he had to protect his vital organs with a chakra shield so that the fire that he created wouldn't burn anything that was vital to his survival. Creating the fire itself wasn't really the hard part. The seemingly basic attempt to shield oneself was really what most internally created fire jutsu were all about. Senritsu was attempting to complete a similar goal with her chakra concentration exercise. Sukotto thought for a few moment and then decided that the par needed to take a different approach. "Let's forget about this training for now and try something else. I think that if you have a more basic ability with chakra manipulation, the more advanced skills will come much easier." As far as Sukotto knew, most of the teachers never had their students switch exercises before completing one. However, he was confident that it would truly help Senritsu in the long run. "Instead of working on the technique, I want you to merely use the Ram seal to move the chakra throughout your body. It may not quite feel like anything at first, but if you really concentrate and dig down deeply within yourself, you can feel this unmistakable energy. After you've felt it, it's only a matter of time until you are able to harness it."

The Uchiha forced himself to stifle a laugh as Senritsu rejected his apology. He should have known better than to grovel in front of the girl, for it definitely didn't appeal to her in any way. Sukotto already understood everything she explained to him, but he still nodded as she spoke, silently thanking her for the reminder. Although she had sparked some negative feelings inside of him beforehand, Sukotto knew that he was merely being his overtly perceptive self and taking it the wrong way. He did in fact enjoy the way she spoke her mind to him and how she took the time to explain how she felt about certain things and why she felt those way. However, since she still didn't quite possess the ability to read his mind, the Uchiha decided that it would be best to speak on the matter. "I understand what you mean and I hope you don't mind me thanking you for explaining that to me. Standing up for oneself is very important and it seems as if I need to do it more often. Thank you, Sen." With that said, Sukotto continued to think of the various techniques that his team could be up against and ways to prepare for those moves.

Senritsu was just about to complain to Sukotto about what he'd given her when he spoke up about doing something else. She smiled at the thought, but it quickly diminished as she realized it would only be something else about Chakra. The girl had never had to deal with Chakra before so trying to learn an ability with it being one of the main pieces was almost impossible for her to do at the time being. Keeping her hands hands in the Ram seal, she continued to try to move her Chakra as Sukotto had informed her to do. So far, she felt nothing, just as before. It was hard to try to feel some sort of energy you'd only read about in books you had to steal from bookstores. Still, she tried. If not to learn the technique, then for Sukotto since he was so willing to teach her. Her Chakra was still asleep within her in some way. She'd never had to bring it out or use it. If anything she would be like her mother, father and simblings and never bring it out to the surface to be used as a ninja would. And if that was so, perhaps she could be a behind the scene person who only gives advice and battle information. She could also be an undercover person instead of a fighter. Maybe Genjutsu, no, that would require some sort of Chakra as well.

Her eyes shifted upwards to him and away from her hands they'd been locked on for a bit as he spoke to her. "Thanks are always appreciated. It's giving thanks to those around you instead of to yourself or being unappreciative of what someone else does for you. Good job for doing something good. You deserve a prize, I'll have to think of something for you later on. Then again, I don't know anything you'd like and I don't have money so it'll have to be something simple and something I don't need to buy." Shrugging, she closed her eyes. "Standing up for one's self by using one's words is something many people don't do now-a-days. They allow their strength to do it instead or rely on someone else to do it for them. It's annoying don't you agree? True, sometimes people get scared or can't think of what to say to protect themselves or their own views, but really, you can do something other than stand there like a deer in the bright light with your face looking like you found out your pregnant even when your a man." Shrugging once again, she got herself back to what she was supposed to be doing and smiled to her little joke at the end.

The genin admired how much Senritsu was concentrating on completing the task that he had set out before her. He knew that sitting still and focusing on something as complicated as chakra could be very boring and while the exercise that he had given her would take longer than most chakra workouts, it would definitely make the technique training flow much more smoothly. In addition, while the training's duration was drawn out, it was much easier to complete. The true test of the workout was patience rather than one's ability with chakra. One more negative aspect about the training was that it was potentially dangerous for beginners to attempt without an instructor to teach them how to restore their chakra once it had become too low. If they pushed themselves beyond their limit, it was likely that they would black out and slightly injure their bodies. This was part of the reason why using more chakra than your body was willing to give was a very risky move. While it could ultimately win a battle or save one's life, it could also leave the person in critical condition. Without a medical shinobi nearby to revitalize them, there was a chance that they may even die. Fortunately, Sukotto could sense about how much chakra Senritsu had at any given time, thanks to the abilities of their clan, and would step in if she began to run low.

Sukotto couldn't help but laugh when Senritsu offered him a prize for thanking her and then joked about how bewildered most people could become in situations that required a little backbone to get through.
"I think that a fitting prize would be to allow me to put you through a little endurance training later on. I realize that physical training really isn't your thing, but having a decent level of stamina can make a big difference in all parts of your life." He grinned and imagined her countering his last statement in some way that she most likely had ready the moment his words entered her ears. "That is a rather broad statement, I know, but just give the training a bit of a chance to see how you feel afterwards, okay? I promise that I'll save some special training for you after that." There were two kinds of 'special training' that Sukotto had in mind. He would eventually introduce both of them to Senritsu and see how she liked them and then allow her to decide whether she wanted to continue with them or not. Sukotto wondered how she would feel about each of them while wondering if his future enemies would employ the same skills that he would eventually teach to her.

The girl held her hands in position as she tried to uncover whatever Chakra she held inside herself. So far Senritsu couldn't feel jack squat. But it would come...hopefully soon. Closing her eyes, she calmed herself. Her breathing changed to a slightly slower, drawn out and patient pace. Her mind changed from it's usual fast pace, to a lighter, single thought mind that most people had. She tried her best to be calm so she could concentrate on this one piece of energy Sukotto needed her to find in order for her to finish what she needed to do. So far everything was alright, no problems, but nothing great had happened yet. Senritsu knew it would happen sooner or later since she was under the guidance of a much more accomplished ninja. Senritsu, so far, doesn't get the luxury of calling herself that as of yet, but she would pretty soon if the training went on as it was now. Smiling, she couldn't wait to see what kind of a team she'd be put into. Hopefully one with something to it rather than a slow, mindless, and overall tiring squad. If there was someone like Sukotto in the team, she'd defintely enjoy it, sadly, she'd be put into a team with people more around her level of power. New graduates of the Academy more than likely. Sighing at the fact she'd be stuck with people half her intellect, she decided to at least enjoy her time with her new little teacher.

Senritsu sighed again as she heard what Sukotto wanted his prize to be. "Endurance...Great....Yeah, sure." Her booming enthusiasm was quite appearent in her voice as she ever so excitedly showed him how excited she was to be doing some sort of training with her body. "Very well, you're the person in charge here. If you want me to do some Endurance, what else can I do? After all, it is your prize." She shrugged, not really caring either way, just means she got some more time with someone who didn't drool over the fact she could think four things at once while reading a book on the human fears and talk to someone at the same time without ever getting confused about what was what. Speaking of reading, she'd have to find a new book pretty soon. She hadn't read a book in a while and it would be something interesting to do when Sukotto wouldn't be around to entertain her. "So...What are you going to be doing tomorrow? Not that I really care or anything, just curious." Senritsu asked, trying to see if he'd be open again for a bit of training for Senritsu, because face it, she's to lazy to go out and do it herself.

The genin smiled as Senritsu expressed her disinterest in training her body. She would eventually realize that, while intelligence was the most important ability to possess, training one's body early on would greatly enhance their stamina and chakra in the long run. Unfortunately, Sukotto had been oblivious to this knowledge in the early days of his training and had very little stamina as a result. It wouldn't take many strikes from an enemy to bring him down, so he had to focus most of his training on skills that involved evading and countering attacks that were used against him. If Senritsu built up her endurance a little early on, she wouldn't have to worry about avoiding every single attack that an opponent threw at her. Of course, it would be wise to attempt to do so, but in Sukotto's case, he could afford to make a mistake. With a decent level of endurance, Senritsu wouldn't have this problem.

"It's my birthday tomorrow, actually. I hadn't planned anything special for it because I don't think that many people know. A full day of training usually satisfies me and I suppose that it will do." In all honesty, Sukotto hadn't given his birthday much thought. He was planning on just remembering to tell people that he was a year older than he had been whenever they asked. Ichi most likely would have done something for him, but since the kage was gone, Sukotto was planning on letting it pass as if it were simply another day. "If you were interested in continuing your training in the morning, you could come by the Uchiha Estate and I would be happy to continue to help out." Sukotto looked towards the sea once again, watching as the sun begin to dip below the horizon. "It's getting rather late though, so we should probably call it a day."

Senritsu couldn't wait for whatever this 'special training' Sukotto'd spoken of a few minutes earlier. All she would have to do is finish up this Chakra thing, that Jutsu she'd almost gotten the hang of and then he endurance training he wanted to have her do. Okay, it was a lot. Kind of. She had a lot to do before she could get to this special training he had in mind for her, but she could do it. It'd be pretty easy to do. What would it be though...the special training. Perhaps hanging upside down in a tree and seeing how long you could go while being asked questions of random minute things. What color was the ribbon on the third house's door to the right of the Academy. The answer would be green. What's the name of flower that is very often used in aroma therapy, lilac. Simple but random questions. No, Sukotto doesn't seem like the kind to have that be any sort of training, then again, Senritsu didn't know what this training would deal with. The mind? Body? Chakra? Hopefully not...she was getting her fill of Chakra for a long while. Senritsu slipped the end of her ribbon in her mouth and let her tongue play with it inside her mouth as she continued to try to find this Chakra energy inside her.

"Huh? Birthday? Really?" Senritsu wondered why he wouldn't be doing anything for his birthday, but shoved it out of her mind, thinking it would be too nosey to think or ask anything about it. "Yeah sure, I'll drop by. If I can find it..." She'd never tried to look for anything that would belong to the Uchiha. Her mother told her it was a building with the same symbol her grandmother and Sukotto had on them, so it couldn't be too hard right? "I'll drop by first thing in the morning. I don't ever sleep much so It won't be a problem." The young Uchiha's green eyes shifted as Sukotto's did towards the setting sun, taking in the sight. "Yes, I suppose it is late." To tell the truth, Senritsu didn't really wish to head back to her house, she'd probably just walk around the village, maybe camp out behind a building or something. Yeah, sounded about right. "Well, I gotta go catch me some food, I'll see you in the morning Sukotto!" With that, Senritsu took off down the beach and headed back into the village. She had a few hours to kill before heading over to the Uchiha Estate and needed to drop by somewhere and catch some food before seeing if she could find a place to kill some time.

The red ribbon adorned child walked leisurely through the village, checking to see what stores were still open with food setting out. There was one, but the lady who owned the store was always keeping an eye out for shoplifters. Time to play the usual card, "Excuse me? Do you have any backstock of frozen chicken and rice? My mother sent me out for dinner tonight." She smiled the usual fake smile and watched as the shop keeper went off to the back to check. Going though the stock the keeper left out front quickly, she spotted chips and grabbed them, taking off at a silent run before the keeper came back to see her. Senritsu soon ended her running and walked through the streets, looking for the Uchiha Estate so she'd know where it was in the morning. It didn't take long before the building came into sight. So, she knew where it was now, that was good. Thinking for a moment about where else she could go so she didn't look suspicious hanging around a building until morning, she sighed and thought it best to head home for the night. If only for an hour or two since she hadn't been home in a few days.

Climbing up the trash can her father had put out that morning, she leaped up and grabbed the window sill to her room and pulled herself up. She always left it half open so she could sneak in without her parents noticing and claim to have been in her room the whole day, or having come in and not being noticed. She had the chips in her mouth as she got her body in the window and saw the light beneith the doorway. Her mother and father were probably still up. Senritsu turned on the lamp and set the chips on her bed before opening the door and seeing her father on the couch, and her mother in the kitchen cleaning up what they had eaten for dinner. "So when are you guys going to bed?" She asked, sitting down at the kitchen table. No surprise when neither of the older people answered her. She sighed, leaning back in the seat and watched as her father read the paper from that morning that he never read until night. It didn't take long before her mother headed to the parental room and her father soon followed, turning out the light on Senritsu, still sitting in the chair in the kitchen. It was normal, being the ignored one. Her siblings were probably already in bed so she didn't have much to worry about. Getting out of the seat she went and opened the door that held the food and looked around to see if there was anything to accompany the chips she had in her room. That's when she saw the cake her mother had made that day. A smile errupted on her face as she rememebered Sukotto had told her it was his birthday the next day. "Sweet..." she whispered as she closed the door and returned to her room to wait until the morning sun rose so she could sneak it out and out to Sukotto.

She'd waited hours just sitting in her room, still trying to do the thing Sukotto had given her the day before, when the sun shown through her window. At first sunlight she hopped up and ran to the kitchen to fetch the cake. It was small and probably only fed one or two people but it didn't matter, hopefully Sukotto liked strawberries since it was decorated in them. How her mother got strawberries in the middle of winter was completely lost to Senritsu but it didn't matter now. She left through the front door and ran to the Estate as fast as she could, trying her best to not drop the cake she'd stolen from her own parents. Coming up to the door of the Estate she took a deep breath and hid the cake behind her back, knocking on the door loud enough so he could hear her. A silly, anticipating smile was held on her lips as she waited to see him open the door so she could give him her little present.

Sukotto only detected a minor fall in Senritsu's chakra during her training session, which meant that she was doing quite well with it. After resting for the night, her chakra would return to its full amount in the morning and she would be ready to continue the workout refreshed and ready to go. He was glad to know that she was making some progress and although it was likely that she didn't quite feel like that was the case yet, the new training would make quite a bit of difference when it came to the rate at which she learned her first technique, and the elder Uchiha himself was a prime example of this. When he had been training for the Phoenix Flower, he experienced a lot of difficulty involved with the stage that required him to form a chakra shield around his vital organs. However, after completing that training, he never once had a problem with creating the shield when using the Phoenix Flower jutsu in combat or training. While creating the shield hadn't become automatic, Sukotto had realized through his training that forcing his chakra to do anything was a very difficult task. Instead, he found that it was much easier to merely direct his chakra to the areas that required extra amounts of the valuable resource. It was similar to constructing a dam versus digging a canal to redirect a river. While a dam completely forced the water to a halt, the liquid would always resist and have effects that the builders may not have anticipated. However, using a canal to direct the water to a desired location seemed to appeal to the forces of the river much more and resulted in a more predictable outcome.

The Uchiha merely nodded as Senritsu asked if she had heard him correctly. He was very happy that she accepted his offer to continue her training in the morning. After having spent time with her, Sukotto didn't want to return to training on his own, for it would have paled in comparison.
"If you can't find it, you could always ask around a bit! I'm sure a few random villagers know where it is. Thank you for training with me today and I will see you soon. Rest well and be ready for some serious training tomorrow!" Sukotto waved her off and made sure that she could see the wink that he brandished as she turned to leave. He was quite happy with how things had began with the two of them. She challenged a lot of the things that he said and while most people would take offense to such things, the Uchiha found himself already learning a lot from the girl and held no ill feelings towards her whatsoever. Originally, he had simply been thankful for having the opportunity to train a young shinobi to gain a little teaching experience for his future mission to the Bird Country, but by the end of the day, Sukotto was more thankful for having met a new companion.

On his way back to the estate, Sukotto took his time walking through the village to run his mind through more tactics to employ against any adversaries met in the Bird Country. Against a small party of bandits, his squad would most likely be able to defeat them using their superior abilities and trained skills. If they came across something that resembled a small army, their speed and stealth skills would be their best bet. Sukotto felt that fleeing from a massive force was the best strategy to use, especially since the squad would have no reason to deal with such a foe. A single powerful shinobi could be either overcome with teamwork, or if they were too powerful, a diversion put on by Sukotto to allow the other members of his squad to escape. However, the likeliness that a powerful shinobi would even bother with a small squad of three or four low level ninja was quite unlikely. In the worst case scenario, the squad would be forced to take on another team of shinobi. Sukotto wouldn't be able to hold off every single one of them while his own group escaped to safety. Instead, they would truly need to rely on teamwork to overcome the difficult situation, and that was what Sukotto would primarily focus on training his squad to adopt once it was formed. Excluding pets and their owners, Sukotto had observed a near lack of teamwork among shinobi, a strategy that would certainly improve the odds of his own squad coming out on top in a tough predicament.
