((Heh, new to this RP... Hope ya guys don't mind... and I guess here's a little something to help push you guys along?))
"Halt!" One of the gaurds yelled out, "Who are you!?"
"... Someone that demands entrance..." A brown-haired boy muttered, his black scarf flapping in the wind, "I need get inside."
"No one gets in or out without our say-so!" The other gaurd replied, aproaching the boy, who replied, "... Wrong move." He lept back, and shot his hands toward the gaurds, one hand crackled with black lighting, the other glew with a white flame, "... You shouldn't have bothered the 'Steel Armed Mercenary'..." He muttered.
"Er, wait, you're allowed in..." The gaurd said.
"... Finally." the boy muttered, and proceeded into the castle...

[Yeah, sucks even more when I'm so stressed out for my science exam tomorrow that my left eyebrow has been twitching on and off for a day now...It's the creepiest thing ever...just sitting there, reviewing chemistry stuff...and suddenly my eye starts twitching. I can't wait till its over, then I'll be able to write a coherent post, maybe. I'll get something up sometime tomorrow.]

Raven yawned and stretched her arms. She rolled out of bed and started to put on her clothes. Onyx was sitting in the window watching the street below.
"What are you looking at cat?" Raven said to him. He meowed once and then pawed at the window. Raven scratched her ear as she went to the window to look.
"Yeah it is a little crowded. I'll be fine. It's better this way. I'll go more unnoticed." Onyx meowed again. "Well ya know the shops are only open during the day and we can't live off hair balls and lint. So stop your yapping. I already know I will hate this." Onyx went back to staring at the window as Raven sat down and put her boots on.
"Ok, are you coming or staying?" Raven said as hers eyes went to the window which was now empty. She looked down to see Onyx rubbing against her leg. She raised an eyebrow. "Ah, I should have known." She shook her head a little and headed out of her room and down the stairs.
She exited the tavern and began walking down the street in town towards the shops.

((Our midterms were a couple of weeks ago. smile ))
Djers quickly averted his eyes to the disturbance at the town gate. Presently, nothing looked too strange, yet he thought he had just seen lightning in his peripherals and heard thunder. He turned back to Ashe.
"Hey, Ashe, did you see that? What happened?"
Lido became alert as well. It seemed as though something did happen behind Djers' back, but he thought it rude to just assume that the kid in armor did anything of the sort.
"Lido, Haltidién!"
The wolf, who had intended to investigate the boy on his own terms, was stopped in its tracks by Djers' order. Yet the wolf's head turned back, as if impatiently waiting for the attack order.
"Recufré!"
The wolf returned, whimpering.

((Demi: Ashe gave Sorrow her purse to pay for the cloth and told you and Mike to head back to the inn.))
Ashe watched as a boy who could control Light and Darkness entered into the castle.
"How many are asking the king for this quest?" she muttered to herself.
She shook her head as Djers addressed her. "I don't know...But it looks like he needed to see the king. Probably the same reason as you."
She scratched behind Lido's ears and said. "Aw, don't be to hard on him," she said to Djers, then to Lido she said, "You think the same too, huh? You smell something fishy."

Sorrow still confused about the whole situation but thanked Ashe with a simple nod and went back inside to pay for the cloth she had picked out. Placing the money on the counter she looked as the clerk placed the cloth into a sack and handed it to her.
“Thank you.”
Sorrow stepped back outside unsure of what was going on. She handed the purse back to Ashe and started walking back towards the inn.
Is it just me or a lot of strange people showing up out of nowhere? I guess you can’t expect not to run into a few weirdos in the capital. Hmm it seems that a lot of people are here to see the king. Who else will we run into?
[Sorry my posts have been dull and short lately. I just haven't felt inspired lately or something. I'll try to get out of my rut. >.<]

Raven stopped for a second looking ahead to see what all the commotion was. She shook her head.
Ugh...is it too much to ask for some quiet? Why are people so noisy anyways? Maybe I should have just hunted something down in the forest. People...bleh...
Raven noticed she was standing the middle of the road and stepped back into the shadows for a moment blending in with them. She decided to just head back to her room. She didn't want any trouble today. If people were stirring something up she was bound to get seen.
She started back for her room keeping in the shadows.
