Alex raised a brow with curiosity. "What, is that like a challenge or something? Because really, if you're just going to hit back I see no reason not to try it right here, right now. Might be fun." He chuckled, pretty sure she couldn't beat him. "And besides, I don't have to stigmatize you,you all did that to yourselves!" He poked her back, just between her shoulder blades, and sttled back against the couch.
{No problem. I've been so busy I didn't even notice. XD}

She probably had zero chance of taking Alex down in a fair fight, but Keeli wasn't limited to fighting fair. And since he poked her, she had no choice. "All right, Alex. Bring it," she challenged, swinging back around to face him. She had no idea what that would bring her or how serious he was. It would probably dissolve into yet another big joke, but she was willing to find out.

He laughed outright. "You're serious? Come on, we've been beaten enough for one day, don't you think?" Noticing a yellowing bruise on her arm, probably from that morning, Alex stuck his arm out and pressed two fingers to it, applying some slight pressure. "You want some more bruises to match it?" Chuckling, he pushed her shoulder lightly, only enough to tip her backward a little.
{This "day" has lasted for eons.....}

Keeli yelped and jerked her abused arm out of reach, which only contributed to his light push. She reached out and grabbed his sleeve to keep from falling on her back completely, shooting her other hand out to catch underneath her and keep her upright. She managed to suspend herself midfall, braced with her arm and clinging to his sleeve.
"Now that was mean," she accused.
((No kidding. It's almost kind of hilarious. xD))

((See, I knew we should have had our characters do something spontaneous. Like go to Disneyland. Or scuba diving! It seems we're out of time.
You know, this is the second death I've experienced in this guild. It was originally a writing/art guild when I joined, then died and converted to RP. Not it's dead. I wonder if I will be around to see a third era begin when it gets bought up. xD))

((I am finding I do like this role playing business. I don't do it very often, but when I do I really like it. It's like writing, but more spontaneous. And I'm continuing until somebody tells me to stop, just for good measure. I mean, why not?))

Alex yelped as well, jumping, as she poked a particularly bad bruise. However, that did break the precarious hold she had on his sleeve, and he fell back onto the couch, covering the bruise protectively. "I think you've just sabotaged yourself." He pointed out, knowing she couldn't possibly hold that position much longer.

She let herself drop, falling back on the cushions lightly. "Fine, I was never any good at sabotage anyway." She prodded him once more, just for good measure.

Pointing a finger at her and trying to look serious, Alex raised a brow and spoke. "You better watch out, I'll tie you up and leave you in the closet. Let Sven think you wanted to walk home." He was finding it very hard to keep a straight face though.

She grabbed his finger and deterred it. "Hey, it's rude to point. You'll hurt my feelings if you aren't careful. And speaking of Sven, I think he must have forgotten about us. It's such a tragedy. We're always the ones risking our necks, and then we get overlooked." She released his finger to continue pondering the phenomenon of being forgotten about.

Briefly sticking his tongue out at her, Alex withdrew his arm to cross it with the other one over his chest. "You're right, He said, sighing, "They do forget about us a lot don't they? Leaving us out and about without and help. I mean really, we may have been going fast, but it doesn't take that long to get here. I suppose out of sight really is out of mind."
