Until you at least make sacrifices like Kashrit, you can't go around flaunting a kippah,
You told yourself that? I Agree.

(Wow, this is a tough segway back to the origingal conversation)

Instead of talking about a show involving a couple which later has incredibly bright offspring, let's get back to brightness, compulsiveness, and OCD in general.

And darkpheonix absolutely BRILLIANTLY destroys your almost unbeatable segway.

Check and mate.

OHhh Chess! What do you think of it, in correspondence with your OCD?

Yes, well..

So, what is everyone's favourite chess piece? Mine is the Rook/Castle.

I like the Knight. Its seemingly random movements have an intense mathamatical form behind them. Relating to OCD, I find myself walking on floor tiles in a similar fashion to the knight's movements. (Foot up, 2 squares forwards, one step across, foot down, rinse and repeat.)

I look for knights patterns and pentomino shapes much like in the works of Blue Balliett.

As a matter of fact, I just got back form a game of chess.
Just don't ask how it turned out. stressed

Actually, my love of the rook could be associated with OCD because I like clean, striaght lines so a piece that moves on the square is ideal.

But, a lot of things can be traced to OCD because it's just my brain.

I've actualy figured out that if there is a piece next to the knight, there is a move it can make to threate it, especially useful when dealing with checking kings. It usually works, unless the move would put the kinight on a square off the edge of the board or would involving capturing a piece of the same color.

You'll know what I mean if you try it on a Chess Board. Sorry, I don't know those names besides 'E4.'

I like the Queen because, since she's the only woman on deck, she can move where ever the hell she wants.

And the King is so frightened of her he swaps places with our orderly friend, the Rook, as soon as he can.

I suppose that's true. And she has bettter range than every piece besides (debatably) the knight.

Also, she keeps coming back because that's usually what people want to turn their pawn into when it reaches the end.

Okay, so I do want to get back to scrupulosity, but for once I will also allow the Chess and other stuff at the same time because it makes me feel like I belong. 3nodding

So, anyways, is my considering wearing a kippah full time more likely scrupulosity? The end will define it, but I'm afrain of going there.

Side stuff:
------------
Regarding my gear of asphyxiation:
My friend loved the Mezuzzah pendant I used to wear and so I got hiom one for a Simcha. Yesterday, he wore his and noticed I didn't.
"Why don't you wear yours anymore?"
"It's complicated."
"Did you lose it?" ninja
"No."
"So you know exactly where it is?"
"Yup."
"Then, why?"
"Because the last time I wore it I was in an insane state of mind and was convinced I had to take it off or else I would die."
"................"

I have the urge to wear a kippah constantly. If you were here a few months ago, you might have seen a thread I made on it. My dad's opposed to orthodoxism and observant Jews. That's why I wear so many hats, to hide my kippahs from anti-semites and my dad.
