"Yes," Arisu said. Her ears picked up some rustling in the grass around the house. She stood up. "We've got company," she said, her hand on the hilt of her blade.

“I-I’m not sure.” Takeko rambled. “Everything was normal then the moon turned red, and it brought all the murdering black creatures with it.”

Cas heard it the second Arisu heard it. "Yea I can tell." She snarled as her claws started to extend and her already sharpe teeth shimmered in the light. She got in her stance, it was slightly defencive, should the enemy choose to strike first, but all ready for a chance to strike. She nodded for Arisu to follow her, figuring that she must be a good enough fighter. Cas started towards the front door, pausing a second when scraping could be heard against the door. Oh boy...not the front door.... Cassandra only realized what was happening a second before it was too late. "DOWN!" She screamed as she jumped as fast as she could to knock Arisu down. The front door, which had been mostly glass had shattered and sprayed the girls with glass.

"Are you okay?" Arisu asked Cas. Even as she spoke the creatures started to come inside. Arisu stood up and drew her blade.

Shizuma's heart dropped a little more and she collapsed on the floor, sobbing. "I should of been here earlier, I could of helped!" she practically shouted. "Damn them! Damn them to hell!" she punched the ground, leaving a dent in the hardwood floor. In Shizuma's sadness, she didn't notice the shadow creature forming behind her.
"Shizuma!"
Shizuma lifted her head and twisted it to see the creature standing behind her. This one was a lot bigger then the other one she had fought on the outside. It could barely fit into the little hall that they were standing in. It let out a roar before moving its fat arm up and slamming it down towards Shizuma. She lifted up her hands stopping the monsters punch midstream with her telekinesis. She tried to push its fist back towards itself, but it wouldn't budge. "A little help here," Shizuma begged, looking back at Takeko. "You can fight, right?"

Cas stood and shook the glass out of her hair. The hat that she loved to wear had fallen to the ground. A growl slipped out of her mouth as she turned to face the creatures. They don't feel.... Cas was concentrating too hard to have heard him. She attacked the closest three, slicing their heads off with her claws.

Arisu attacked the shadows as well. She beheaded two of them in one swing.

Cas moved fast so she had eliminated about half in 30 seconds. Intentionally she had left her right side guard down, and as one of the creatures attacked that side she turned and bit his head off. [clor=darkred]Ok...that was gross... JUST SHUT UP!

Arisu had had her back to Cas, so she didn't see her bite a creatures head off. She lured some creatures into attacking her, then cut all of their heads off at the same time. "This is too easy!" she said.

Takeko hated surprises. Her whole body was shaking badly from the creature suddenly appearing and it had pushed her over the edge. She couldn’t deal with this anymore. Between everything that was happening tonight and for the past year Takeko realized she felt something she hadn’t felt in a long time. She was pissed off.
She left out a small growl, and lifted her hands up towards the monster. For the first time ever she let out as much electricity as her body had built up inside. The creature shrieked and stumbled backwards. Takeko wasn’t going to give it a chance to get the advantage back. She continued pouring electricity into the creature as she walked closer to it to do more damage.
The creature fell to the ground and was twisting it’s body so violently that Takeko thought that it was going to tear itself apart. She smiled. She wanted to cause it so much pain that it would to do. She passed Shizuma and was now standing right above it. The creature had finally stopped moving. Takeko knew that it was dead and she amused. She turned towards Shizuma and had a twisted smile on her face that was not her own.
“Ya, I can fight.”

Shizuma jumped when her cousin smiled like that. It was a wicked little smile nothing like the soft smile that she came to know. What had happened while Shizuma was gone?
"I don't like her," Akako growled softly in the back of her mind.
Shizuma blinked Akako never disliked someone instantly, but she didn't say anything to him as she brought her attention back to Takeko. She stood and looked to the front room where her father was then back over to the kitchen where her mother was. She sighed.
"We should get out of here,"Shizuma breathed, walking past Takeko to the front door.

It took Takeko a few moments after Shizuma left the room for her to snap out of her killing high. She was freaking out about what she had just done. That’s when she remembered Atsuki and she felt her smiling with that wicked smile that she had used a few minutes ago.
“Atsuki stop messing with my emotions!”
All she got back was a chuckle. Takeko was more terrified then she had been the entire night, she hated how easily it was for her to lose herself and become like Atsuki.
“I refuse to become like you Atsuki. I will find a way to get rid of you, I swear to god.” She promised.
“Oh sweetie, that’s never going to happen. I am a god and you'll never be able to destroy a god.” Atsuki was amused with Takeko’s attempts at threatening her.
“Ya, well we’ll see about that.” Takeko calmly replied and mentally put Atsuki back into her cage. She took a few breaths to calm herself then chased after Shizuma to catch up.
“Hey Shizuma, I’m really sorry about what happened back there. I’m not sure what happened to me, I just kind of lost control.”

Cas was stuck in between two creatures. Instead of doing the easy thing, jumping up above them and letting them hit each other before slicing them on the way down, she decided to stick her hands out and tear them apart that way. Of course it worked but the one on her left side happened to cut her arm. It wasn't deep so she continued to kill the creatures without even noticing. You do know that your bleeding right. Cas just ignored him.

x x _ m o n e t _ x x HIkari's feet fell softly against the pavement, something she had taught herself to do... Be silent. Too much noise was bound to attract whatever it was that was out there, and she didn't want to be in an eve worse situation that she was in already. Lucky enough for her, it seemed those beings were going toward light and sound more so than they were prone to merely stay in the dark.
'Hikari...' Serena said softly, the girl's voice ringing in Hikari's head. Serena understood well how difficult it had been for HIkari to get used to the fact that she would probably never be truly alone again, and although it could be a comforting thought, both, indeed, had to make sacrifices. 'There is someone coming...' she commented.
Hikari's strage colored eyes shone beneath the hood that covered her face, bathing it in shadow, as she spotted, not too far ahead, a small figure running alone... Seemingly, that of a boy whom she might have tutored in the middle school. Unsure, she kept her stance defensive as she approached. ((-runs back in- ^^)) After jogging for about 15 minutes, Korsu slowed and started walking, creating less noise. He absently noticed that he wasn't winded at all. He then stopped as he noticed the street he was on was soon going to go into a dark stretch. He trembled as he thought of having to go through that. Clutching his kodachi close to his chest as his head swiveled, trying to find a lighter area to walk through.
As Fujiya waited patiently for Korsu to start moving again, he sensed people approaching them. 'Korsu..Korsu.. KORSU!' Fujiya said, having to repeat himself several times before getting an answer from him. 'People are approaching us from behind you.'
Korsu spun around quickly and nearly lost his balance as he looked down the street and eventually saw an older girl approaching them. Faintly he asked Fujiya, 'What should I do??'
Fujiya noticed his tone and said, 'Don't you dare faint. Just be cautious and let them approach us.'
Korsu gulped and watched with wide eye's as the girl approached them. Once she was closer he thought he should say something but he couldn't bring himself to do it.

Hikari paused, noting the defensive stance the figure took on. And indeed, she was correct in thinking it was a younger boy, possibly a few years younger than she, that stood before her now, wide-eyed and seemingly frozen on spot. But, she recognized him...
"Korsu, right? What... What are you doing out?" she asked him curiously. She remembered him from the middle school down the street from where she attended school... She tutored him once in math. "You... You shouldn't be out here alone..." she said softly, lightening her own defensive stance to that of a more open, trusting one, her facial features softening up as she walked up to him.
'Hikari... Be careful' Serena said softly, the girl's voice ringing in Hikari's head. Serena feared for Hikari's life... The two were joined, and thence their fates were joined too. Perhaps this was one of those black monsters trying to trick them, though Serena was not sure if they could possibly be smart enough. Better safe than sorry, though...
Hikari inwardly shushed Serena. For a moment she thought Serena as cruel, but then realized the sort of danger she could be in. Wanting to get a better look at Korsu, she pulled her hood off and surveyed the surrounding area. "We should probably find somewhere safe to go to... Or even locate others. It's better to be in a group, right?" she said to him as a smile emerged onto her features. She tried to keep a light heart... Perhaps it would make the boy feel better...
