Pandara rode the Spotted Sage along the Pythos river, it was a small wagon pulled by two very stubborn and rather ugly mules but was painted up with gawdy colors of green and orange. Small mirrors decorated the outside appearing to sparkle as the full moon's light hit.
Roth and Sheedra stopped abruptly makeing horrible noises as they kicked around at the sound of a wolf's howl.
"WOOAH!" The Half-Satyr's blue eyes turned towards concern "What the HELL!! You NEVER learn." She tried to get the going but at the second howl realised what they where complaining about...
Wolves... "We're bigger than them dolts!" Pandara said lively towards the two akward creatures who appeared to be shaking. "Come on, it's dark if you don't want to camp near wolves get a movin!" Pandara stomped her cloven foot hidden beneith her long colorful skirt to try to get the beast moving. They did for a little while.
But the stubourn animals stopped once they saw the fires of a camped caravan.
Pan grew cautious and hopeing she hadn't stumbled across a band of theives. If theives they were, she would be attacked by now. She reached for her blowgun and sleep tonic dipped darts.

Roused by Cornelius' braying, Caroline pokes her head out the door. Warily she swings herself down from her wagon's porch. She approaches Pandara and her wagon. She pats the two mules in a friendly manner, still keeping her guard up. "Hello, friend," she says. "What brings you into the woods so late at night?"

Pandara hid her blowgun behind her back, waving with a huge smile across her face, "Hello! Not much just trying to find some rare herbs!! I like traveling by the moon, best time to find them." She was nervous and her movements full of energy.
The full moon was when herbs carried the most magic according to most folk legends but who knew if it was actually true. She put up the reins on the lively mules and got down from her wagon.
"So, please don't be theives!!" She looked nervous, "I have like no money and these mules... they're not worth a damn really." Her horns were hidden by a green head scarf and Pan was careful to not reveal her hooves. Other than that she appeared mostly normal except for the abnormally bright orange hair and saphire blue eyes.
Roth stomped his foot and winied in protest to Pandara's comment. Sheedra just chewed on some grass oblivious or not careing about what else was going on. They seemed to have calmed down.

"Theives? Och, no!" She laughs, a genuine smile spreading on her pale face, "We are gypsies. Come, have a wee sit by our fire. Give your mules time to graze, though the grass 'round here is tough. Cornelius seems to find it palateable, though," she comments, patting her own mule's muzzle affectionately. "My name is Caroline Rainiera," she says, putting out a hand in a friendly, if definitely assertive, greeting.

Pandara laughed, "Well alright guess you don't seem like the theiving type anyway." Caroline did appear to be telling the truth and didn't seem to be the sort to lie. "It is getting late and I've been working too hard at finding herbs. I'm starting to get a decent supply." Pan smelled of all scents, lavender, sage, rosemary, various flowers... etc. and her wagon was one hundred times more potent.
"Oh don't worry, they'll eat anything. The seem to prefer the rarer hard to find herbs though right before I spot the plants too. Makes things more difficult sometimes." Pan glared at the two unruley mules as they seemed unphased, already chewing on the hard grass.
Pandara put out her own hand to meet Caroline's handshake. "Pandara Lennox." She replied. "Nice to meet you. Gypsy's huh? I'm sure you will be in need of herbs then. I have many salves to offer some things you can't find by just any herbalist." It was late and still Pan was on the clock, had to make a living somehow.

"Pleasure to be makin' your acquaintance, Miss Pandara," says Caroline. "Perhaps if ye'll camp the night with us, we might be makin' use of your bittie spice-box in the morning, aye?" It's late. Her accent is thicker than usual. Thinking of something, she adds, "As long as everything's fine with our caravan leader, ye ken?" She dries her hands on her apron after pouring water for Cornelius. "Myself, I'm a dancer." Caroline strikes a pose suddenly, making her skirt twist around her, then swirl back to its normal place. She smiles jovially. "'Tain't much use for making food or for defense against beasts, but my talent makes me a bonnie sum when we go into the pubs, aye?" She grins and winks bawdily.
That was fun to write.

((I love your Caroline-speak!!))
Pandara yawned, it was rather late. Maybe the reason the mules were so contrary is because Pan tended to drive them hard when there was a herb she really needed or wanted to find.
She laughed at Caroline's thick accent, especially when she called Pan's herbs a spice box. There was more than spices to be found within the hidden magic of the plant world. "I bet you're a great dancer! And as long as you have a way to make ends meet and people to help you along there is nothing wrong with that. I had to travel by myself most my life, so I need to be a Jill of all Trades. I can pretty much do a little of everything, but not exceptional at most of it, other than herbalism of course."
Pan started putting up the mules and settling in to the camp. "I understand, I'll wait to speak to your leader. But in the mean time, I'll stay put as long as no objections are made." She yawned and stretched a bit as her anxieties towards the caravan were melting away. Her caution easing made her forget about hidding her appearance, when Pandara strethched her hooves could be spotted for a split second under her skirt. Also, the observant could notice her kerchief around her hair falling out of place just enough to notice there were indeed horns on her head.

Caroline motions for Pandara to follow her as she goes and sits near the fire. As Pandara passes, Cornelius brays loudly. Immediately Caroline goes to him, kissing his muzzle and murmuring in Gaelic to him. Once she's gotten him to settle down, she returns to the fire and settles herself properly. "Yon wee a** there doesna think too highly of ye, Missie. He thinks there's something fishy about ye." She arches a thick eyebrow at Pandara. "Pray ye reveal any secrets ye be hidin'. For Cornelius' sake."

Pan laughed nervously. Was she that obvious a mule could see her secrets. Jeez, she was so bad at keeping things from people.
"Oh well, uh... it's nothing big. Just a precaution some people aren't as magically inclined." She removed her kercheif and pulled up her skirt a bit revealing goat like horns and black hooves with a slight fur covering on her legs but not too much. Other than that and the orange hair, Pandara was perfectly normal.
"I'm half satyr, nothing too fishy about that now... right?" She grinned widely, still a bit nervous. "Makes it easier to find herbs, since the plants speak to me and sometimes listen... when they aren't being stubbourn." She felt ashamed for being so deceiving. "Believe me, I'm not the lying sorts just sometimes things need to be kept for safety's sake."
She looked at Caroline, "But my father's genes aside, I'm really just an herbalist and wanderer... a wanderer much like yourself." She winked hopeing to not offend the new friend she really was getting a bit lonely on the road and if she could be of help to anyone it would be much less dangerous and more importantly less lonely.

Caroline looks mildly surprised, but not at all concerned. "A satyr, eh?" she says, rubbing her chin. She looks to her mule. "That satisfy you then, ye wee a**?" She smiles at Pandara. "Well, as I said before--ye're most welcome to travel with this caravan, iffin' you talk with the gypsy called Valelldia first. We're all magic folk, here," she adds, hoping it to reassure Pandara.

Pandara nodded, "Yes, I'll do that. I will just hang around here for now. My my it's late." She stretched her whole body out, her slightly digigrade legs kicking out a little strained from keeping her black hooves and light fur covering hidden. "Magic folk huh?" Her eyes sparked a bit. "Well, you definately will be wanting to look through the herbs then, I have many most people don't and prepare them at their highest potency. Soup spice or spell component I have it!" Pan was first and foremost a business woman with her herbs, such a lifetime compulsion she didn't ever stop plugging her wares.

Caroline laughs, the sound a little like bells tinkling. I'll be sure to have a keek. I'm no spell-monger, though, ye ken? My magic runs a little deeper." She waggles her eyebrows and for a moment her blue eyes seem to twinkle with a hidden depth. She contemplates showing Pandara her daughter, since certainly a hybrid would find no aversion to a Darkling infant. She nods once to herself and stands. "I'll be back in a wee bit, just keep warmin' yeself by the fire." She brushes off her skirt and goes up the stairs to her wagon. "Rojiza!" She calls inside the wagon. "Tenemos un huespede, querida! Andale!" She fiddles with the bell-charm on her necklace as she waits for the scampering creature. She picks up Ro and sticks her on a hip, letting the door shut of its own accord. She meanders back to the fire and Pandara. "This," she says, setting Ro on the ground next to the comforting heat, "Is my bairn, Rojiza." She watches Pan's face for the reaction. Ro peers up at the newcomer and waves with a furry hand.

Pandara giggled, nothing seemed wrong about the little squirrel baby or abnormal to her at all. She reached her hand out to pat the little one on the head. "Oh Rojiza huh? Bet you are a good girl" She looked up at Menelie, "Ur... she kind of looks like you, maybe a little." Or maybe Pandara was lying to be polite, there wasn't much resemblance but then again Pan had the same problem growing up because her father wasn't around.
"But, I've never came across any squirrel people..." She couldn't keep her big mouth shut now could she? It wasn't that Pandara was appaulled, her reaction was no where near that. She was just confused. Pan always loved to keep a good realistic grasp towards the world.

"do ye happen to have any wolfsbane?" Tier giggled playfully while teetering drunk off the nights kill and having shifted back so quickly. Her clothes half torn. Looking mussed more than usually she patted the mules and whispered something in their ears before plopping down next to Pandara. "hiya, I am Tier....T...Tierra." With that a dirty hand hung out in the open awaiting a shake.
She shook her shaggy mane and tried to smarten up. "owie!" a sharp pain flashed across her brow. She slunk in her seat. "would an'one happin' ta have any coffeeee? I seem to be havin' a bit of a hangover"
