((The creek thing doesn't actually work, it was an interesting fact I learned watching Mythbusters.))
"You heard me, I don't want it!" She hissed at him, "I don't want that thing!" Her eyes glared heatedly at him, as if he would thrust the sword she had wanted so desperately last night into hands at any moment. However, that blade was not even this room at the moment and indeed, she had no idea where it was at the time.
All the better really, it could stay far...far away from her.
"I don't understand... All records of the Divine Sin indicate that you go insane if your seperated from your Sinful Angel for to long, that a voice would call to you-"
"What voice?"
Ryan blinked in surprise, the question effectively making his mind crash. "Err... From what we know, each Sinful Angel is actually Sentient... or something similar. It has a unique voice that speaks to the Divine Sin it bonds with an-"
"Then I'm not a Divine Sin, I've never heard this 'voice' your talking about."
Ryan scratched his head in confusion, this went completely against everything they thought they knew... Either this Sinful was somehow broken and didn't talk..maybe it was mute? Hell, he didn't know..
Or maybe she was immune to the voice of the Sinful? Some type of strange adaption that let her carry Sinful Angels without going berserk? But how would that be possible? What could have brought it about?
There were to many variables to consider an- Damn!
"I don't get paid enough for this s**t..." He mumbled haggardly before taking a long drink from his canteen. "Ok... So if you don't want it, and we can't use it... Then what are we going to do with it? Those things are indestructible as far as we know..."
She simply stared at him.
"At least tell me why you don't want it all of a sudden?"
"Grandmother. Mother. they both died because of a Sinful Angel. Those things are a curse upon my family!"

"You know, as a parasitic manifestation, it really is impolite to talk through a seemingly unwilling medium. Especially after the things you've said to your host. In any case, we need to do something. Dogs can be killed with an arrow or throwing blade with relative ease, so they wouldn't come too close before being silenced... What does your host want to do?"

(( Wow that is an interesting tidbit of information. Maybe they can rapidly evolve to grow wings? ))
"Am I not a 'parasitic manifestation'. I am as real as you." Sinful said dully. "She asked a question and your answer sucked. Teach them while they're young, they learn faster that way and they learn to not disobey a lot easier." He stayed silent a while just staring at Malachai. It was a look foreign on the child's face and shouldn't be on there until she was older.
"Its hard to ask the host when she's refusing to think let alone respond." Sinful relaxed against the tree. "Your Sinful, whatever the hell its name is, can manipulate shadows can it not? Perhaps it can use those to attack. Untraceable really, or I would assume so." Tori's face changed again to a smirk. "You're supposed to protect my meager little host anyways. Don't let them hurt me!"
The dogs were getting closer along with the sounds of metal, and flames were flickering.

"The shadow cannot attack, " Malachai replied simply. "By the nature of its power, it can only engulf me when I am within it... At least, that's as far as I know."
Not entirely true. You can extend the shadow to a lance-like arm, though it will reuire a lot of your physical energy to maintain. I haven't had a chance to properly teach you, though, so you can give it a try, but no guarantees on the success.
"I stand corrected, apparently there's a way, but this useless b*****d never told me how before now. I can give it a try, though..."
Concentrate your mind entirely on the shadow. Will it to shoot forth at your enemies.
Closing his eyes, Malachai attempted to do as he was told, though the shadow would only move several inches forward before falling back.
Guide it with your hands. I've heard this helsp humans to concentrate aim and directionality when they're learning.
As he regained his concentration and slowly lifted his hand, a small orb of shadow rose from the ground. Swiftly striking forward with his hand, Malachai opened his eyes to see the shadow rapidly accelerating in a long extension of the orb, travelling beyond the visible light of the area. A high-pitched cried could be heard a moment later as the life of a hound was extinguished.

(( Your sarcasm is lovely, dear. And depending on your Sinful, that is perfectly possible. ))
Serin sat alone in her room, Ryan having left to discuss possible outcomes with the others of her captors group. Her mind was blank and unfocused as the news rebounded through her head over and over again...
"The sword is a Sinful Angel-"
"You are it's Divine Sin-"
"On't hear voices!-"
"Then what are you?"
"Killed my family!"
She sighed tiredly and stretched out her legs, leaning back against the wall to stare blankly towards the ceiling...
What's on your mind? "Everything... My grandmother's heirloom being a Sinful Angel... These people wanting me to take it and probably do battle against the church with it... just everthing that has happened to me lately is..."
Tiring? "Yeah... That's exactly it. And confusing too... -"
Her eyes snapped open and saw the room to be completely empty, panic setting in upon her mind with wreckless abandon as the pieces began to fit together...
"You're-" Shamshel, lonely conquerer of the gods. Though, you already knew that... To an extent.
She screamed.

"Of course you stand corrected. Bunch of dead twigs here." Sinful looked like he wasn't going to help at all, Merely collecting sticks and leaves of different sizes. he smirked and turned adjusting the childs glasses. "And Bingo was his name-o. Congradulations *****. Perhaps you can do the same with the guards?" He noticed a rather large branch and tried to reach for it, giving up and crawling picking it up. Nice size, sturdy, better hold onto this. He stuck it in the knot of the shirt tied around Tori's body.

"If the b*****d had told me sooner, it wouldn't be a problem, " Malchai replied. "And I don't know how many times I can do this..."
Already, he felt as if an invisible force was slowly draining his energy. From the first real attack, a shroud seemed to enclose Malachai, feeding off of the very energy that fueled his every action.
Despite the fatigue, Malachai concentrated once more, shooting out another tendril of the shadow as the first retracted. Without a second thought, another was enabled to pierce the cold air of the night.

"Hm...shall we continue moving?" Sinful asked looking at Malachai. "The last thing I need is you tiring out. Then we will be caught or I'll ditch you. And I'd prefer the former."

The scream brought guards dashing into the room, weapons at the ready to defend against whatever had been the cause of said commotion. However what they did not expect was for teh sole inhabitant of the room to be being sucked into what seemed like a complete void that originated on the wall.
"Help me, no, no! I don't want it, I don't want to take it, leave me alone!!" The black void upon the wall seemed to be more liquid in nature, oozing and dripping along, encasing Serin's body like some sort of demonic jello.
Guards wasted no time, rushing forth and grabbing the panicking girl's outstretched arms and trying to pull her to freedom as the... Whatever it was, drew it further in. Even despite their combined strength it seemed the effort had not even been delayed as it continued to draw her in.
In a last ditch effort, the spears and swords were plunged into the bubbling mass, only for said spears and swords to emerge directly back out into the bodies of those who cast them. The guards holding the hilts and handles of the weapons even as their very own blades were embedded within their body.
Serin was shocked into silence as a trickle of blood slid down the spear above her face, and some of the crimson liquid dropped down onto her face. Such was the way she spent the last few moments of her time in that room, before the demonic jello had completely encompassed her and then receded into nothingness.
All that was left were the now dying guards, their own weapons somehow broken off at the point where it had entered the glob with the rest of the weapon being embedded within them.
If you had not been there to see it happen, one could have sworn that someone ripped their own weapons in half and stabbed them with it.

"Right... the shadow surrounds me on its own when I'm engulfed, so we may be able to use that to our advantage, " Malachai replied. "Now, will you please giver her body back to the poor girl?"

"You didn't say please but fine." With a sigh Sinful let go and Tori sat there looking around. How long had she dozed off? She looked at Malachai curiously before shrugging and sitting against the tree listening for the houhnds and the armor.

"Are you all right?" Malachai asked, approached the confused-looking girl. "It took over your body..."
The guards were panicked at the sight of the shadow tendrils, their origin unknown, yet their lethality devastating. Still, they pushed onward, attempting to slay the heretic scum that would dare oppose the Church.

She nodded and hugged the shadows. "They have torchers." She murmured quietly. "It'll distort the shadows."

“Let’s keep moving.”
The boy tilted his head, walking with his guide towards what he thought was the exit. He could no longer find the ability to speak, nor did he want to.
They went on like this for some time, covering at least half the castle before Caidoc finally spoke up.
“You seem to have grown awfully… quiet.” he made no effort to hide his merriment.
No response.
“Does something ail the master? Do not fret, we shall leave this place, soon enough.”
The boy made no attempt at showing he was still trailing behind him. He had become lost in his own mind long ago.

"What the hell happened here!?" Ryan was furious, not only was the girl gone but the guards stationed here had by now all died from blood loss and injuries!
"What the hell happened here!"
"Sir! The Sinful Angel has started to pulsate, it seems that something is occuring!"
"Damn!" he swore softly, the simple utterance of the word summing up just what he thought of the current situation.
"All guards to the Sinful Angel's location, I want to be ready for what happens!" The command was issued, Ryan could only hope it turned out well as he and the guards with him dashed out towards it.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A black abyss was all she saw, all she felt. Her very senses being muted as if she had already died...
Perhaps she did die, maybe the demonic jello did eat her...
Demonic Jello? I don't think I've ever been called that before.
"What do you want from me!?" The voice had seemingly not been spoken, but emitted from everything around her. As if the very void she resided within currently was the voice.
Like any intelligent form of symbiosis would, I would like to come to terms with you... In a manner of speaking.
