"Things?" She asked and laughed. "Well things were just fine until you started shooting at me." She Took her hand back and started to unbutton her shirt from the bottom up She stopped just under her bra line, and tore the bottom of her shirt off. in one quick motion, then she tore that almost in half, making one long strip. Gently she wrapped it around his shoulder and chest, putting pressure on the wound, and helping stop the bleeding. "What were you thinking, I had this under control." She smiled at him and winked.

Joker shook his head, "S-same o-old Gem. I w-was thinking the same thing I said. I don't want you dead." he smiled and started shaking violently. He tried to stop but it hurt a lot, "How's my baby look?" he asked about his car.
King got into his car and drove away as sirens sounded in the distance. He drove to a motel just outside of town and rented a room.

"I probably would not have died." She said and put her hand against his heart. "She's totaled." Gem grimaced, not wanted to spoil his mood even more. "Let me take you to the hospital." She said almost begging. She was so worried about him, if anything happened she would die with him, she was planning on it.

They had both ignored her, she got out of her car "Bad" She looked t king driveing off "Looks like your assiment got away...come on, lets go home before the cops get here, the hospital would ask questions, bad."

Joker shook his head, "Hospitals ask questions. They find anything bad out, they call the cops. Take me back to the base and put me in a bath." he said, refering to the chemical baths they had that helped heal even the worst wounds, that they lit candles over to keep the steam and healing chemicals in.

"Fine, But I'm not leaving you alone till you stop shaking like that." She opened his door, and pulled him out of the car, holding him tight. "Can you hold on to me?" She asked wonting to know if he could ride with her, or if he had to go with Serrenedy.

She smirked at Gem "He likes my plan better" She smiled and pulled him out of her arms and into her car. "Bring my bike back" She called to Gem as she reved up her engine once and drove away

Joker glared at Serrenedy, "Dammit R-Renna!" he growled, he didn't have enough energy to shout at her. Joker tried his best to stay awake and stop shaking as Serrenedy pulled into the base's parking lot.

Serrenedy glared, he had his heart broken and still liked her, it ws only there for an instant before it was replaced with a indignat look "Well ex-cuse me for careing that you made it back safely." She pulled him to a bath and gently put him inside,clothing and all "Strip when I leave-I'll be back in a bit to get you into bed" She called like a worried nurse before exiting, her face a hard mask, eyes glassy.

Gem nodded and clamed onto the bike, only to have a realization. Now there was no chance that Joker would interfere if she went to take care of King. She watched them drive off, and she drove the other way.

Joker glared after her, "She's going to die!" he shouted. He laid his head back and the medic placed a burning candle on the stand above Joker's head. Joker pulled off his clothes and threw them onto the solid ground. He slipped into sleep, allowing the healing process to work. It could be days before he woke up and his wounds were healed, but until then, the medic allowed nobody to take him out of the bath.

Gem found Kings car in a matter of minutes. She parked her bike right next to it, and took of her helmet. Looking around she found that he had rented a room in a motel. She decided to start with the room closet to his car, and move on from there. Her bloody fist knocked lightly on the door, and she stepped back, waiting for someone to answer.

Serrenedy sighed "I'll makesure she dosen't" She called back and went well on her promise, entering her porse and going to the last place she was seen , before takeing off in the direction of the target Gem was following

King answered the door and pulled out his reloaded gun, "Why the hell are you following me?" he asked, "Go take care of your boyfriend."

"What boyfriend?" she asked, and let herself into his room. "Joker is just a good friend, like I thought you were." She sat down on his bed, and looked up at him. "Why are you doing this?" she asked.
