Cassie mock-laughed, "how? with that-" her face became redder. "-that kiss, it caught me off guard." she said stiffly.

Cassie almost fainted. "Shush, stop distracting me!" she hissed.she circled around where the smoke was coming from, now a small whisper carried off by the wind. Cassie smiled. she folded her wings and they dropped. it wasn't as streamlined as it would have been had it been just her but she still got a thrill from it. she opened her wings right before they would've crashed and she flew very close to the ground in a circle around the dying campfire. then she landed. she let go of Julius and walked to the campfire. "its dying." her voice sounded sad almost. She turned to Julius, "Whoever made it must be long gone by now." her eyes wandered from his eyes to his lips and she turned away, refusing to let him see her red face. *whats wrong with me?*

"You look sad, hey i know what'll make ya feel better!" said Julius he then moved in front of Cassie and kissed her on the lips. "Well? do you feel better?" he asked

Cassie slipped to the ground. she couldn't find any words. A big sigh escaped her lips. she didn't want to admit it but she felt warm on the inside and happy.

"I'm not sure." she replied a little unsteady. Cassie looked up at the dark night sky, we should probably set up camp here, its pretty dark out and... well, theres already a fireplace so we just need so more wood an we should be ok." she said trying to change the subject.

Julius took a few branches from some nearby trees and threw them on the fire. Then he said "Man if only i decided to keep the fish for a while."

Cassie moved over to the campfire and started bringing the fire back to life. she slipped off her wet shoes and continued working on the fire. when she got it going she heard a twig crack but it wasn't from the fire. Cassie stood up slowly and stretched her wings. she entered the forest, flying anddarted into some nearby bushes. she caught it with her feet, which had turned into what looked like large eagle feet with razor sharp talons. the talons cut into the rabbit and Cassie brought it out of the bushes and threw it on the ground. she changed her feet back to normal and sliced the hare's hide with a long nail. "I caught supper."
