(( Gawh. @-@;; I'll keep that in mind. Normally I do, I guess I forgot. Onto meh posty now I suppose. Thanks for the reminder Mock ))
»‡«Hatsume»‡« Fox and bird observed from the side, her mind had not slipped away from the thrill of battle. It seemed just as alive if not more intense from before, perhaps it was due to her able to sense these vibes or such...? Either way she stood prepared, also listening on the response from Mashiro. "Hai, Thankyou... Yours is just as amazing." Her voice was pleased, but strong in a more serious tone. At this same time she ignored the slight pain as the tip of Ame's talons pressed against her shoulders, it was amazing to feel his strength despite being such a light weight. Her attention strayed though, as Mashiro seemed to casually walk towards the captain with a question. She was confused at first, had he given up on the battle...? Her muscles tensed, focus aiming down as her feet prepared to flash into action. Her emotions calmed when their Captain lowered his weapon, reminding her that he was a honorable man after all. MockaDash's response embarrassed her ears, he spoke out exactly what she thought he would say... this all in it's own brought a smirk to her face. How true his words were, no doubt she wanted to learn how to successfully work with her buddy. It was unfortunate that Hatsu did see the repercussions of those who didn't use their abilities correctly despite having Shikai at their side. Those who were brought down in a instant because of basic mistakes, Hatsume already promised herself she would learn to avoid becoming that. Leaping over the pond once more, she too got alittle bit more closer when she heard what Mashiro had spoken out. Her heart soared once again, she became eager to speak out herself.... but anxiety left doubts and whispers entered into her head; just as always... but they seemed stronger. She looked almost saddened at this moment, disappointed in herself that she ask this. Until a forceful bump hit her on the back, obviously Ame giving her a swift prod from one of the thick tail feathers to tell her to speak up and get over her issues.
It was obvious from her body language enough that she was more nervous and unsure of herself to speak up then anything. Her ears couldn't be more pinned down against her cranium, her eyebrowns wrinkled into a frown as the rest of her facial expressions quirked into a embarrassed disappointed look. She wanted to speak out, she truly did. The words trapped themselves in her throat, it was like her body forbidden her to say anything. Ame was getting annoyed at this point, the girl was so blunt and a loud mouth before... why suddenly be so damn nervous? He would attempt to help her out in one last try to regain her attention onto what she needed to say instead of past working against her. So, with another long tail feather been close to her own tail it would have coiled around slightly at the base with a sharp, fast and very quick constricting pressure being induced before he'd let go. The sensitive tail of the vixen was shot with pain making her squeak out with a soft yelp before her head ducked down into a bow. "Please forgive me..!!! I- I-... I mean if it's okay. Please, If it's not to much the ask. If I too, can be taught under all your knowledge. I- I understand if you can only take one... M-Mashiro sama asked first. He- He deserves it." She kept her head down, trying to atleast attempt in keeping some sort of good face on her. Her smile was weak, but she fought to keep it on. Why did her past scream at her so...? Why did it haunt her with no mercy? All she waned to do is prove it wrong, that she could have friends, a leader... somebody to look up to and learn from without anything bad happening from them in the end. She didn't care... she wanted to take the risk. Why not? This was her dream after all. Everything that ment to her life.

Mock plunged his nodachi into the the rocky ground, and it stuck there vertically, much resembling an "excalibur". He was perplexed at such requests, and his demeanor revealed it to be so.
Are you both insane??? You interrupted this spar to ask "that"?!?!?! He let out a sigh as he closed his eye and lowered his head for a moment. Then, as he raised his head once more, he revealed a warm smile across it, from ear to ear. I'll have to say no to both of you! How can I become something to you that I am already??? Silly-kuns!!!
Taking a bow, he continued I've always considered myself as your guardian, and your mentor. At least I try to be so. I see it as being my duty as Captain, but I don't do it merely for it. I do it because it gives me much pleasure to help others in the same way as I've been helped in the past. I'm just carrying the legacy!!!
Rising as he removed his blade from the rock, Mock uttered some last words. But if making it official is your desire, so be it.
I'll be honored to become your sensei!!! Thank you!! And let us all do our best!!!
Now... First lesson... is that of survival!!!
Strike!!!

Mashiro felt bad at first that he had asked such a question, which he know knew was the wrong place and wrong time for. The Captain's first response made Mashiro's heart race. Out of everything the Captain could have said, that was not on his checklist.Yet, the Captain easily changed his emotion and said what Mashiro was wanting. With a sign of releaf he bowed his head, before the Captain finnished speaking. Then the wind picked up and Mashiro raised his head just in time for him to see the Captain pull the sword out of the stone. Thinking back at the Tale of King Arther and the Knights of the Round Table, Mashiro saw the Captain, for a split second, in a shinning suit of armor. With one blink of his eyes it was gone and the Captain was now preparing for a new battle. Instictivly Mashiro pulled his zanpaku-tou out, without releasing it again, and slashed at the Captain. Now the Real Battle was Beginning....

Hatsume::. The kitsune continued to express her face nervously, Mockadash's own expression made her even more so. His carried voice caused the already nervous and anxious fox to jump into a immediate flinch. ><;; As his head lowered her eyes opened once again from their former winced postions... His continued words left her ears pinned back, seeming to not fully understand all what he had spoken. "I- I under.. " But then it finally caught on, wait, did he..? "Wait.. huh..? Y-Y.... .huh..? She was left with is odd-ball expression on her face. "B-bu... Uhh. My head feels dizzy." She rubbed the left side with her free hand in a attempt to recover from so easily being overwhelmed. She paused and continued to listen on, his speech seeming to help her come over that small bit of bewilderment. And as it ended, she quickly returned a bow. "Thankyou... Sensei!"
With that she returned a firm grip on the handle of her blade, and she pulled forward with speed, her blade crossing her own chest as her body attempted to swiftly make it's way to curve behind Mockadash as Mashiro was going at the front. If she succesufully made it pass him, her blade would be pushed outwards in a attempt to make a deep slash for his mid-back. The pheonix which burned brightly at this point fluttered upwards just above them for now; least till he saw a opening to correctly go in for, or perhaps for other reasons..?

((Sorry for raking so long. RL stuff. Anyways, your avi looks quite stylish Hatsu-chan! xp
A word of advice: get a spell checker, it helps a lot. I know it helps me!. ))
Apparently, Mashiro failed to realize that this time he needed to go all out on Mock. With a blade as large and deadly like that of an nodachi, and a skilled and merciless swordsman such as Mock, Mashiro was in for a rough trip. The Captain wasn't about to simply parry Mashiro's sword and respond with the same strength. Instead of blocking the young man's sword with his own, Mock swiftly slashed at this torso, without uttering a single word. A shield suddenly appeared in the air, out of nowhere, made from the particles of ash that were hovering around them (but where invisible to the naked eye). The shield had blocked Mashiro's Zanpakutou, thus enabling Mock to freely strike at the Shinigami with his own blade. As he did so, aiming for a clean cut at the line dividing Mashiro's abdomen and thorax, he released another energy wave from the Zanpakutou. - He was sure that if the blade itself didn't struck Mashiro, the subsequent dark reiatsu released from it, would.
Glancing over her right shoulder, MockaDash was not actually looking at Hatsume, but rather at the unusual phoenix comprised of "spiritual fire" flying above her. As for Hatsume's slash towards Mock's back, he did not move, again allowing for a second small shield to form there and block the sword. Still releasing dark energy from his blade, the Captain spun over his right foot as axis, and slashed his nodachi at the kitsune's midsection. The dark wave of reiatsu would too attempt to harm her, as it engulfed her, like a crashing tide of blood would.

(( Its ok, Sensei. It all happens to us.))
"Buakudou #4, Hainawa." Mashiro shouted as he pointed both his index and middle right fingers. Mashiro knew that all it would do is hold the Captain's attack off by a few seconds, but that is all he needed. Jumping backwards Mashiro could see Hatsume begin with her attack on the Captain, but she was in trouble. Mashiro had to think of something... and fast. Suddenly the voice of Jou-shirû poped into his head again. Mashiro, Your Twi And La... Mashiro was confused but hat soon changed. Almost as if a "How To Do" video magically appered in his head, Mashiro lifted his blade. As he brought the finger guard to mouth level he said " Write, Jou-shirû... Shuukai Batsû." Suddenly as Jou-shirû was being released the four ribbons around the finger guard wrapped around the falchion blade. With one horizantle swipe in Hatsume's direction, a mass of pure red kidou went to her and surrounded her. Before the Captain's dark wave couold do any damage, Mashiro erected a shield. The shield took the shape of a round disk with kanji writting on it. The shield stayed in place and was backed up by the mass of pure kidou which was still flowing from Mashiro's blade. " Its ok, Hatsume I got you. Now make your move." even as he said this the shield splintered and shreded to pieces. As this happened one of the red ribbons aronud the bottom of the hilt shreded like paper. This made Mashiro wonder at his new found ability.

My brain is dead today... So sorry if my post is out of whack. @-@; ))
.::::Hatsume::::. The kitsune did not loose her touch of being in the moment of the battle. Being in the thrill of life or death, this was no play-time of sparring or training between captain and subordinates; but true strike to kill or be killed scenario. She put aside the fact Mockadash was her captain, somebody who she admired and respected and very aptly; focused directly on keeping alive and doing her best to go against him to bring him down... no matter how dim the light seemed of winning. As said; she'd push that aside. As she successfully made it to her targeted area, the actions of Mock against Mashiro were noted in the back of her head; how she sensed the shield being created. It reminded her of the smoke from before... his reiatsu, how he easily made her explode from nothing; as if the fiery burst was made out of thin air...! Aye, she had a idea of what was going on on. And hopefully she'd learn quickly to avoid such a tragic mess. As she swung and went to make the hit to his back, his lack of movement caught her attention.. perking a rather unsettling feeling inside the shinigami, his shield was created and easily avoided her swipe. Her actions and attention to continue to push forward did not fade from her heart. As the blade hit against the shield, from the edge of her fire based elemental blade did a flame arouse out and appear to spread across the shield's surface, coiling back into the short shinigami's face and body as it's mass grew within the short range it was capable of keeping, As her own fire engulfed her, also spread out from this new red-painted scabbard did his dark deadly reiatsu come quickly after. But to the fox's surprise, another protection came as a second layer of a shield against this dark wave; hopefully eliminating this one; possibly with the effect of the massive reiatsu shredded Mashiro's shield and would probably wipe away her fire, before her scabbard built it back up again. During this madness, the fire bird above had elegantly spread his tail feathers wide; in doing so embers rained down as certain extra soft downy feathers fell from his tail; As embers rained and a burst of flame was created- this flame was not intentionally used to strike at Mockadash; instead it seemed as if the flame coiled slowly into a cluster of clouds as those downy feathers bursted into effect. Ame No marukumo. The cloud cluster sword. Supposedly known for this smoke and 'cloud' ability, The smoke would spread and attempt to cluster down upon Mockadash; or even upon the surrounding reiatsu of his zanpakutou. Afterwards "Ame" the bird would drift off towards the closest tree available in the area. Hatsume, if the attempt to diffuse his dark reiatsu wave worked, Would Use her own blade to swing over to her right where his long massive blade was- and attempt to clash purposely against it. Fire from the blade's edge would be born, smoke raised from the fire... And if a opening occurred to Mock's body without his Nodachi being in the way; a swift raised foot would swipe in a side-kick for the man's lower torso area; lower ribecage, back, what ever side she was able to strike at. Of Course; there was the chance of him bringing up the shield again... She knew completely.... If she did hit so perhaps; her small framed body wouldn't have the ability to knock him over.. oh no. =0 But the clawed toes could do a nasty scratch and painful irritation if she got to him, the more power or forceful she got him, the deeper the cut. Her other foot which was balancing on seemed to be slightly bent at the hock; as if prepared to move or jump; etc... Or it could've been so she could aim correctly at his torso.. =/ Who knows? As for responding To Mashiro, although alittle late the vixen would finally respond to his kind words. "Aye, Together Mashiro...! Together, plus alongside with our friends; we'll make it through!"

[OK. I assume you both want me to help you with actual RPing right? Rather than simply being a teacher IC. Anyways, sorry if I'm presuming too much. Here's some tips.
@Mashiro: You should detail the consequences of your actions further. To make it more clear what it is you're doing, and that way allow the person/s you're RPing with to get a better grasp of their surroundings. I get the feeling you're struggling with Godmoding and autohitting. I may be wrong because I'm taking a guess here, but it seems that sometimes you try to describe things with great detail and you end up somewhat autohitting and puppeteering another RPC, and other times you try to refrain from it, only you do it to much and end up sounding inconclusive.
I'll give you an example. In your post you just mentioned that you cast bakudou #4 - and bakudou was misspelled btw, you need to check your spelling Mashiro-kun! - but you've failed to describe how it was that the kidou disrupted my attack. You could've described how it did so, and that wouldn't be puppeteering. Instead, if you went to the point where you also described how the hainawa and the itsuryu also (for example) hit me, now that would be autohitting.
Rule of thumb: RP your opponent's attacks and what happens to them. Don't RP what directly happens to your opponent. I hope I'm being clear enough.
@Hatsu: It's amazing how your RPs have changed! The length of the posts, the style, the descriptions. I don't know what brought this change, but do keep it up!
Unfortunately, such drastic change is bound to bring some problems. I suppose you're still not used to the new style you're using and you're trying too hard. Some passages are too confusing to read, mostly due to everything being so clustered. My advice: Try to organize your ideas. Keeping clean paragraphs is a good way to start!
I hope my advices will help you become even greater RPers than what you already are! xp ]
The way Mashiro chose to avoid Mock's blade and the subsequent dark reiatsu emanating from it, surprised even the Captain. He still wasn't able to figure out how was that a simple low-level bakudou single handedly negated his attack. Certainly, his Zanpakutou is kidou-based. Since his kidou expertise has seemed to improve slightly. the Captain thought. The reiryoku comprising the Hainawa was able to withstand Mock's attack's reiatsu, just enough time for the Shinigami to be able to avoid it - both the blade and the dark wave. After it, Mashiro cast a protective barrier, that prevented Hatsume from being hit by Mock's Itsuryu. The dark wave coiled around the surface of the barrier and eventually faded to nothingness, just before its power (or Mashiro's dispelling of it) caused it to shatter. In presuming that his students were underestimating him, MockaDash himself seemed to have underestimated these two. The time for fun and games was over!
At the time, Mashiro no longer posed as a threat, so Mock turned to deal with the hyperactive kitsune. Shitsune! the man roared, and a pillar of flames erupted from beneath him, completely engulfing in its fiery red the flames that Hatsume's "phoenix" had sent towards him. The pillar spread to all sides and burned brighter and hotter, gradually shifting in color from red to light blue as it pierced through the clouds above. This fire was meant as protection, but it was still fire nonetheless. If caught in it, the unseated Shinigamis would most certainly get some burns. Fortunately for him, Mashiro was far from the range of said pillar of flames. But Hatsume was approaching Mock, so she would probably have to deal with it.
The kitsune struck, first with her sword and then with her clawed foot. Mock parried her blade with his own. He allowed some of its dark energy to be released, countering whatever fiery energies Hatsume was releasing from her Zanpakutou - with the help of the fire pillar that was still surrounding both. But the Captain was not about to stop there. Moetsuku. he uttered, and out of nowhere, all around the probably unsuspecting kitsune, a medium-sized explosion engulfed her small body within, as she was attempting to kick him. The explosion would not harm Mock, since it was originated by the ash of his katana that was spread across the battlefield. Some of the ash had gathered around Hatsume and ignited into a fiery blast, and that fire was actually of protective nature to Mock, but "aggressive" to everyone else.
The fire pillar faded, and MockaDash would turn to Mashiro, had the young kitsune been knocked away by his attack.

(( Thank You MockaDash, I understand your statements. I had a good feeling they were clustered and unorganized. Everything you said made sense to me completely and I do 100% agree with you. I understand where all this comes from, and I know there is alot more in me, I think I'm trying to force it out alittle to hard- which is the source of it being all cluttered and messy. I still need to to get in-touch with my olden days of good roleplaying abilities.... =/ I don't like to brag, but I'm not kidding when I say I was one of the best female fighter/roleplayers in the hardcore nexxus.. Tyrant/Reaver wasn't a east tag to obtain. Sadly, my skills went down the toilet when I lost the Internet and the computer all together.... Enough of OOC though. I need to let it come back to me Slowly, easily; bit by bit. Maybe then more and more of the old me and be shown once more. ;-; -sniffles- For now, I shall post. Thankyou for your wonderful advise MockaDash. I'll do my best follow your advise. ))
†»‡«Hatsume»‡«† The kitsune was so close to Mockadash. His energy, his Reiatsu; it always embraced her, suffocating the air and surface, space that she breathed. Reminding her every second how deadly the situation was, to to tease and flaunt herself so close to him; it was like licking the edge of a blade begging it to cut... Cockiness mixed in her emotions, her vivid plots of how to go against the strong proud Captain is what kept her strong and not afraid. The simple knowledge of knowing she had two great friends at her side willing to do anything and go any distance as she would...! His roaring voice bewildering the fox, she didn't understand the name. Under all the kitsune names, types, species- none of them were under the calling of shitsune, surely it wasn't at her- it was a summoning of something else! Her ears pinned back as her senses inside and out felt as if they were being stamp on, it was from beneath- she knew this feeling. But the pressure and power of the Captain nearly stunned the vixen in her spot. It was as if her actions were jolted by this sensation of sudden danger. It destroyed all her momentum, all her strife, even her entire will to continue her former attempt. Gritting her teeth together her muscles and body tensed immensely as her pupils narrowed, focusing on his figure as her mind rushed with thoughts on what to do... What could she do?! It was a bad timing to freeze up, not to mention embrassressing to any warrior. While she was stuck in her frozen moment of wondering how to act, when she should've been acting- the large powerful pillar of fire aroused from the ground like if it were a rapid growing plant having just been born from mother earth. Bewilderment ran through her mind, was this his own; or did he actually take control of "Ame"`s own flame...? Or, did his own just consume through hers? Her pondering made her once powerful kick loose all it's momentum, strife, will... everything. Instead she ended up in a very bad position. She was on one foot, and this eruption basically now engulfed her in a brilliant inferno wraith. Without a single peep, whimper, or spoken cry from the vixen was her 'unbalanced' body torn from the ground's surface and ripped away from the close distance of MockaDash. Even in this horrible situation, the kitsune didn't seem to notice any pain- her mind was coaxed with adrenaline or perhaps, she was prepared and ready on such a action to happen. It almost seemed like she was in mid-air trying to gain some sort of balance and recovery when she sworn she heard a second whisper from Mock....
After that, the kitsune found herself slammed the ground a few feet away from where she currently was. It appeared MockaDash's "Moetsuku" uttered it's effect just as suspected. Hatsume had no clear clue what came down or even hit her. The secondary explosion offence attacked from within; and although she did have fire resistance, his own abilities countered this by it's aggressive nature. Making it in a simple term, the inexperienced shinigami had found herself attacked from the inside and rolled or somehow ended up afew feet on the ground away from Mock. Tender surfaces burnt and wounded finally realized the pain when her eyes opened. Still, amazingly holding her sword like a vice-grip. whee So, whilst all this happened; the clouds above MockaDash evaporated from the sent flames; etc... But from the distance, a larger flame brewed, charging up perhaps. That tree that Ame No MaruKumo had flew towards, became a victim. Smoke clustered in thick plumes that one could barely see through, the sakura tree was engulfed as the phoenix focused his intention and smaller figure on spreading this fire. Because once it had gotten big enough, it could probably handle it's own... Tanzanite eyes glared through these flames and smoke, displeased with Hatsu's current status. Angered. Upset. But neither of them would give up, slowly, the kitsune would struggle up onto her two feet, that is- if MockaDash did have other plans to interrupt her from doing so. "...Rhh.. I'll.. Prove.. Myself." Soft, but clear words struggled out from her weakened vocals as she lifted her wounded body. ;--; awhh.

(( Ya, I have been struggling with that. It is just a little hard for me to write something so that I am not dominaiting the rp, a.k.a godmodding and autohitting. I will be working on that through our trainning. And that was a slight typo on my part. I am going to be rereading and spell checking for now on instead of trying to rush through it, I think that is also part of my problem. But I did mean for you to be both mentor in OC and IC. Anyway, back to the fight....))
Mashiro could do nothing but watch as his kitsune friend was engulfed in the fire that Mock-Taichou had summoned. Though only a few seconds went by it seemed as if several years where passing by. Each mili-second was passing day by day and this made Mashiro nervous. He could have tried to put another shield around her, but even Mashiro knew that it would have been too slow. Not only that it could very well hit Hatsume, instead of help her. So what was Mashiro to do? He was good on the defensive, and with Shuukai Batsû it was even better. However, he was now faced with fighting the Captain himself.... without aid. Mashiro went into a deep calculation on everything that could happen, and each calculation ended with either permanent injury or failure. Each time he tried to think of something it ended this was. So, Mashiro decided to.... wing it! This was something that he had never done before. Each and every time he was in a battle there was a plan that he followed. This made the Blonde Shinigami think that, that was the reason he was failing. When something went off plan he would have to break off and try again. So this was the perfect plan out of all of them.... wing it. Mashiro lifted the blade forward at the Captain. The four ribbons hung from the finger guard and apparent to everyone that he had called off Shuukai Batsû. Then, without saying anything, the blade grew a bright red as Mashiro started to write Kanji in mid air. The symbol he wrote represented a kidou spell. " Write, Jou-shirû." When Mashiro said this the tip of the blade, where Mashiro was using as a pen, grew a pale blue light. " Hadou # 4, Byakurai!" Suddenly the pale light shot out at the Captain. The beam was the width of a base ball, which was pretty big for any type of kidou below 10. If it struck the Captain no one, not even he Mashiro, would know the end result.
(( Is this any better? As far as the autihitting, godmodding, and everything else? lol ))

((Yes it is. Very good you too. Keep improving! xp Hum... Mashiro? Four ribbons? Didn't one of those ribbons disappeared when you summoned the first shield?))
MockaDash sighed. He wasn't fooling around, that was obvious. But it's not like he was going all out on them, as well. He figured that having a fire-nature, Hatsume would be able to deal better with the fire than what she did. He was disappointed at first, also with him for not better grasping his students' power. A smile appeared on his face, when the kitsune slowly got herself up, and that "phoenix companion" of hers burned brightly in all its splendor! It seems he was right after all. These two were tougher than one might think. The smile faded as he turned away to look at Mashiro, focusing on the battle.
He waited to see what the boy would do. The crimson aura surrounding Mock seemed to veil him in a sinister cloud of smoke. It was as if his body was being sucked into darkness, as only the silhouette of his body was seen along with one blood-red eye, shining like a ruby. That same aura of reiatsu was creeping towards Mashiro, as if darkness had tentacles, and they were reaching to entangle him.
A quick double cross-slash of the nodachi - the first horizontal and the second diagonal from upper right (where the initial slash ended) to lower left - and two waves of dark blood energy were sent towards the student, after he (Mashiro) had released his empowered version of White Lightning. The first wave struck the kidou and both blasted in an incredible display of pale blue and dark crimson energy, sending surges of it everywhere, along with a strong gust of wind. Among the smoke from the previous blast, the second dark wave appeared and made its way towards its target. Mock was flicking his right wrist - the one holding the nodachi - in order to maneuver and control the wave, so that it would reach Mashiro, or at least his immediate surroundings. - The wave's flight path was not that flexible so it was possible to escape it, but seeing that the Shinigami was standing against the waterfall and probably fatigued, it would be hard for him to accomplish that.
As the wave, sent from his blade, was about to reach Mashiro, Mock uttered Ichibanmehakka -- Shageki! [First Ignition, Gunshot] and Mashiro was surrounded by the blast of a fiery explosion, produced by Mock's katana's ash. - Just like what happened to Hatsume. - What didn't happened to Hatsume tough, was the dark wave and the ash's explosion combining. Their energies were opposite, so when mixed they would always chain react and explode violently.
Mashiro was dealing with an explosion of about 10 meters in diameter, and much more powerful than the one Hatsume had to deal with. Even if he somehow prevented the attacks (the dark wave and the fire blast) from colliding with each other - thus preventing the giant explosion - he would still have to deal with them in their natural form. A dark wave of compressed reiatsu able to cut like a dozen blades, and a fiery explosion.

((Sure thing! x3 Tehehe! It's kinda funny... my's brother's game music is almost fitting this RP. o----o;;... LeftFourDead. ...... Explosions, Fire, Madness, etc; lol! XDD!))
†»‡«Hatsume»‡«† Ablaze, the inferno haloed her body from behind, growing and becoming larger in it's mass as she finally stood with her slightly scalded body. Pain numbed up as if she was adapting to the burned feeling, either that or she was shutting it out as a defensive protection in her body/Brian. No, she was adapting quickly- it's been a long time. The more she played with elements the more her body would be prone to them; just as long as they didn't kill her first. The dark reiatsu tendrils reaching for Mashiro caught her attention, the Captain was focusing on her battle partner; her friend and brethren. Seeming to keep her at bay with no current interest since his last demonstrative attack. Her left scalded ear shifted back in a quick flicker of a movement, gathering split second information on how she should act on this. MockaDash was no fool, and wouldn't ignore a oppentment on accident because of a assumption of defeat or so. She also knew he wasn't diddle-dawdling around with them and Mashiro could be in terrible danger, so what action should she take? Help counter his attack or go in for Mocka himself?.... Her inferno would be manipulated, as it swiftly carried across racing at Hatsume. The firebird seemed to camouflage itself within it temporary... Time was out, MockaDash had already begun and set out his cross slashes at Mashiro, where Mashiro set out his counter/attacking white lightning. The light flashing from the large spark filled the area, nearly distracting the fox's eyesight. She was so easily pulled away by movement and light from the corner of her eyes it was hard to focus her sights directly on Mockadash. The surge of what could be mistaken as a wildfire pushed through and pass Hatsume, covering her as she finally hid herself within the high density of reiatsu of the flames. The phoenix seemed to once again perch on her back as it swiftly made through waiting for the moment to act. The kitsune would purposely manipulate her inferno in a charge at MockaDash, Faking her direction and hoping to draw away attention to her true area of place within the flames. Attacking from behind on his right side. The 'inferno' was spread about at 6-7 having grown in mass due to burning of the tree, and reached in heights of just about 4'5'' or so-- enough to cover over the shorter female shinigami. If the Captain should turn his attention and strike at the fire with his blade or dark reiatsu, the swift readied vixen would push and roll sharply to the left to escape the wrath of deadly attack; if he didn't she'd strike her blade in a quick cross slashing motion to his feet, hoping to distract him from continuing any further attack on Mashiro... thus haul ting the entire process of the 'big boom' . But If she distracted Mocka before so and he struck at her and continued his attempt, she'd react in to different ways after hopeful dodging...whatever was /would be to come. One; the phoenix from her backside would gladly release itself once more and swiftly fly in the protection of the flames before zipping out, carrying with him a small part of the inferno, Ame heavily ablaze as he rushed towards Mashiro- The flames filled of Hatsume's reiatsu of her shikai would cause somewhat barrier protection. The long tailed bird would attempt to tackle Mashiro. @0@; His long legs clinging onto his shirt, sharp claws probably poking through into his chest as his over layered flexible wings spreaded over his forearms. His head arching over Mashiros as his large and amazing tail fanned out to it's full extent to embrace the shinigami in a protective layer of fiery feathers. >,..,>; The force of the blast would do more damage then the actually fire, concerning the phoenix was engulfed. So why didn't it burn Mashiro..? Perhaps Hatsume's reiatsu only acted aggressive (burned/attacked) those who she targeted, or posed as a threat? =/ Hrrm, ..
For now, brain-dead causes this post to stop. ><;

(( Sorry for inactivity, I forgot to warn everyone about that heh. @ Sensei (Mock): No it was from the bottom of the hilt. Quote: The shield stayed in place and was backed up by the mass of pure kidou which was still flowing from Mashiro's blade. " Its ok, Hatsume I got you. Now make your move." even as he said this the shield splintered and shreded to pieces. As this happened one of the red ribbons aronud the bottom of the hilt shreded like paper. @ Hatsume and Mock: I am on a new website that is for clean rping and cool things. Here it is: http://monkeyspot.prophpbb.com/ come join me ^_^.)) Mashiro was in shock, worse than shock... this was fear. The Captain had taken out the Byakurai so easily. There was nothing he could do to stop the attack, and so he just stood there at the brink of the battle. It was not until Hatsume had saved him with her zanpaku-tou did he come back to life. As the phoenix put a protective barrier around him, something happened. As the bird was engulfed by the Captain's attack, Mashiro stayed unharmed. Was it because of Hatsume? Or was is because the Captain's attack was not that strong? Either way Mashiro would stay focused from here on out. " Shuukai Batsû." instantly the four ribbons formed on his blade and shot out pure Kido. As the Kido came out, Mashiro, manipulated is to make an almost cloud around him. This caused Mashiro to be lifted in the air as if he was flying. Then he spun the blade around his head, causing the Kido to make a tornado around him. As he got higher and higher Mashiro sent "bolts" of Kido at the Captain. However, in doing this he was loosing another ribbon at the bottom of the hilt. ((Sorry brain fried.... Cut 3 acres of grass today.... still buzzing))

((Hatsu, if you want my advice, try not to give so many alternatives to your actions. Explain the possible outcomes, yes. But don't stray to far as to actually puppet your character's actions in the next post according to what I'm about to do in mine. I dunno if this was clear. ))
Mock's attack on Mashiro was powerful. Not the most he could do, since he wasn't trying to kill his students but only shake them a bit, but it was powerful nonetheless. The fact that Hatsume's power was able to counter it, showed great promise on the kitsune's behalf. Mashiro himself, was using his abilities with ease and skill. What he lacked though, was determination behind his strikes. And alas, this particular "trick" of his was not going to work on Mock. No matter how many times he tried.
Still holding the nodachi on his right, the Captain stretched both arms away from his body and raised them until they were parallel to the ground. Standing sideways to both contenders flanking him, he pointed each arm at each one. The right hand was pointed towards Mashiro, and the blade was held vertically, forming a 90º angle with his arm. The left was aimed at Hatsume, with the palm open wide.
Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. The Captain began chanting. His relative skill with kidou - not with kidou in itself, but his proficiency to gather and master reiryoku as well as reiatsu - allowed to cast most demon spells with relative ease, without the incantation. In those times where he said them, the power of the spell was truly exceptional for its kind. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. Hatsume was closing in on Mock, and so were the bolts of kidou released by Mashiro. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle! Hadou # 58 -- Tenran! Hadou # 63 -- Raikouhou! Two spells were cast at once. The incantation belonging to the Raikouhou.
From Mock's right hand, a tornado of spiritual energy was released from his nodachi and averted all the bolts produced by Mashiro's Zanpakutou, continuing to make its way towards the caster. The deflected bolts struck several rocks and trees around them, throwing dust and debris into the air. None struck MockaDash or posed a threat to either Hatsu or Mashiro. And the full force of the Tenran was about to strike Mashiro. From the Captain's left hand, came the enormous surge of yellow reiryoku, shot forward like a beam of lightning with a wide radius, as it spread like a cone from Mock's open palm. The Raikouhou was heading towards Hatsu with incredible speed and force. Not only was its power great, it was not the kitsune's apparent innate element. If she was previously able to counter Mock's fireblast due to it being fire, this time she would have a harder time doing so, since it was pure energy that was coming at her.
Show me some backbone! I don't like to feast on easy prey!!! Mock said to Mashiro, only a couple of meters away from him. Not waiting to see the results of the kidou he shot at him, the Captain had shumpoed to his student's proximity, and was swinging his large sword at him. This close attack would struck him immediately after the Tenran.

(( I was ging to wait for Hatus-san, but I guess she is sick.))
Mashiro's eyes grew wide as the Tenran went right through his bolts of kidou, and right to him. There was no time to think of what to do, nor did he really care. He remembered that he wanted to "Wing It" this fight see what he could really do. However, given the untimely onslaught from the Captain made him wish he had, had a plan. Bending backwards, Mashiro was able to see the Captain shunpo near him at the same time the Tenran hit. Mashiro's tornado was gone, as was the threat from the hadou spell. The blonde shinigami raised his blade just in time to catch the Captain from cutting him in two. Sure it may not have completely cut him in two, but this was the Captain, and it was no short supprise to see Mashiro flying downward after the blow.
The shinigami was able to catch his fall and prepared for another attack, which there was none. He jumped straight up at Mock-Taichou and swung his blade horizantly. At the same time Mashiro was able to get the momentum to flip in the air, which allowed him to get behind the Captian before a sucessful counter. As he came behind the One Eyed Shinigami, Mashiro pointed his blade right at his back. "Shuukai Batsû..." Mashiro gathered all the kidou onto the tip of the blade, as if a bottleneck. This would pressureize the kidou, allowing a powerful attack to be used on the Captain. The only bad thing is that it took as long as it took an Arrancar to summon a Cero.
