The armor faded away soon after the danger had disappeared. Sunflash looked over at Nashi with sad and tired eyes, "I..I'm sorry still. He.."
He looked to where the stallion laid, "I know he loved you, I was a jealous, but...The thought of him what he was apparently trying to do...He...You would have died from unhappiness or..worse twisted you terribly..It .. angered me more than anything." At this point Sunflash started to cry, a few drops of glowing and somewhat fiery tears fell to the ground. The glow of the tears stayed for a but a moment before fading away.
"I .. love you, Nashi. I won't ever leave your side again." He vowed quietly.

Nashi trotted to his side and nuzzled him lovingly.
I love you too. And what you did was brave and right. Do not be sorry.
She looked down to think.
What shall we do now? The quest, I mean... It seems all is lost.

His ears leaned back for a moment before just swivelling around, "Nothing is ever lost." He turned toward Nashi, "We are meant to grow up, we can't stay like this forever." He nodded a bit and started forward a bit, "The crystal in my pouch started humming crazily when I got around here, so..."

Nashi smiled weakly. She seemed to have lightened up, however sadness still crept into her emotions.
There is a very large crystal of yours inside, she commented.
Nashi ran into the cave and looked up. The crystal was much larger than even herself, and she had no idea how to get it.
See? It's big, huh?

Sunflash followed her and then stared at the Crystal, "W-W-WOW!" He trotted over to it and nudged it a bit with his muzzle. "Feels warm..Comforting." he stepped back, "I also feel pain...I think it's been having pieces chipped off of it." He looked at Nashi, "What about you?"

Nashi sighed. I dont know. Her eyes were upon the pile of now seemingly useless quest items.
Ceres wouldnt let me take a few, would she?

Sunflash looked over where Nashi looked and seemed thoughtful, "Technically, it was found just as we were asked to."
He looks back at the large crystal, "I think we need some sort of advice or guidance or something...Because we weren't prepared for this to happen exactly..."

Nashi felt a prickle of darkness down her spine. No we don't.
With a whip of her head, a shot of dark power flew from her lilac marking, cutting the crystals mooring, and sending it plummiting toward the floor. But Nashi was prepared. She galloped to the place it would land and closed her eyes, and when the crystal was but feet from hitting her, she caught it with a blanket of purple light.
Now be careful... she said, straining under the weight. Im going to lower it to the ground...
And she did. Carefully, she moved away, and the crystal landed softly on the stone floor.
Maybe you could chip a piece off?

Sunflash seemed to consider the size of the crystal as he approached it before rearing back and hitting the crystal as hard as he could with his forehooves.
Instead of shattering into different direction, a crack appeared on the surface etching all along it before pieces small enough for him to carry splintered off and fell to the ground.
It appears that the crystal wasn't as large as it appeared, surrounding a mostly rock core which somehow imprisoned the crystals to their spots, but now they were free.
For a moment the rock surface had a angry face appear on it before disappearing with a soft almost mournful sigh.
"Wonder what that was about.." Sunflash murmured gently.

Nashi smiled. Now it's my turn to collect.
Digging through the items, she found four that looked to be alright. Among these were a raspberry clock, a rainbow fleece blanket, a shard of a star, and a star headdress.
Do we have room for these? She asked, pushing them toward Sunflash's hooves.

He seemed to think on that a moment or two before responding, "Not sure. If we have a piece of cloth handy we could carry it between us with everything in it." Sunflash's ears flicked about, as if fidgeting or nervous. It is likely he was calming down reluctantly after his bit of excitement.

She frowned. Yes, but we still have so much to collect... Her limbs were shaking from the amount of energy she had used that day. Maybe... maybe Ceres can make an acception... we've gone through so much... She collapsed on the ground, her legs finally giving in.

He wobbled toward her and settled next to her, "Let's just rest for a while. Maybe we'll get an idea by then." Sunflash nuzzled her a little and then laid his head on the ground for a moment seeming pensive.

"Yes, perhaps," she sighed. "I just wish Ceres was here... she could help. But I know it's impossible." A tear ran down her cheek gently. "Everything is just... messed up. This was supposed to be fun, exiting! But look what it's become."

He nudged her lightly, "Now, now, no tears. We can make this fun and exciting again. We still have that guide and stuff right? Maybe she can help?" It took him a moment to remember her. After all he wasn't bound to remember a lot of things after a time like they had together.
