Weird... a PC gamer cd some guy gave me had "Wheel of Time" written around the edge, with a few other names, like "Dungeon Keeper"...

They did make a Wheel of Time game based off the book series, but in my opinion it sucked horribly. It was a FPS type game based on using angreal instead of the one power...it just failed to live up to my expectations as I was hoping a more RP-based game would of been made. Oh well though.

Sorry it's taking longer for a story than I thought, I spent yesterday working on a laptop instead of sitting down and writing. Right now my brain is fried from the overnight shift, story will be done soon though I promise.

Hmm... Well, Ayeali, you saw my new petsez, and I've got an idea based on them for an RP. And also an idea for a fun thread.
RP-- There's actually a storyline to go with the dragons, which, when summed up, comes down to this: Dragons were the first race, and were given the gift of speech. They became a great civilization, and had a good king, who eventually had a son. Many years later, the humans who were basically insignificant beasts, stole the item that gave the dragons their power of speech and used it themselves. They became the rulers of the land, and the dragons were forced into hiding. The king had died, but no one knew what had happened to the prince. The humans all but forgot about what had happened, and dragons were seen as simply annoying reptiles that stole livestock and sometimes harassed villages, until one day a rumor comes that the Prince is coming to take back his father's kingdom...
So, what if there were an RP based loosly on this, where people aligned with different Dragon clans, and the groups were looking for the Prince? In the story, the clans ended up warring, and can't use speech, so you may or may not want to change that, but I think it'd be a very different approach to present people for characters, and most people seem to agree that dragons are cool. blaugh
As for the other thread, Make up a premise of a story, such as (ex. A cat sat in the window, looking out at the busy neighborhood. There were so many things going on in all of the yards.) and then after the introductory post, every one is only allowed 3 words per post, and they have to try and build on what other people have written, so it ends up coming out very interestingly.

The dragon one sounds pretty spiffy ^_^ as does the 3 words per post... *nods*
Oh and what happened to the Samurai troopers one we'd talked about?
and How about a crossover anime rp? Everyone could rp as their favorite anime character *nods*
or maybe one based on a video game.. I've seen some pretty spiffy rps that use the Soul Calibur II cast *nods*

All the strength in the world means DIDDLY if you can't hit your target. If you have the elbow blades with the really long left blade (I think its left), and an opponent without a clue, you can just do that half sould charge slam downwards thing repeatedely, and have the range of the biggest characters.
