Beauty nodded lightly and watched him leave, barely noticing the knight. She smiled broadly, "Good morn to you, Paladin," she greeted cheerfully. Beauty couldn't help but move a little away from the palading, careful not to touch him even though he was a chair away. "I had a wonderful sleep, and how did you fare through the night?" she asked cheerfully as she began to eat once again. Wanting not to change herself around others, she sent a very small wave of charm towards the general population.
What she didn't tell the knight was that she wanted to scream with frustration, and painful memories. She acted as if she was all right, as if what she and the half-elf meant nothing to her. Shifting her position off of her legs, she finished off her milk and continued eating, waiting for the paladin's answer.

Finally Zywynran found what he was looking for. More of the blue belled ribbon along with silver. He was sorely tempted to add a third color as he always did, but tried to restrain himself. Two was enough for this project. Really, it was... Oh, who was he kidding? Zywynran selected green ribbon, close in color to Beauty's eyes. Satisfied with his choices, Zywynran left the room and descended the stairs once more.
"Good morning, sir." Zywynran greeted Kale brightly before walking right past him to stand behind Kchelach. Humming to himself, Zywynran began to weave the jingling ribbons into her hair. "Try not to move your head about too much, hmn? I was going to wait, but patience is a virtue and I am not a terribly virtuous man."

Beauty had only a second to look up at Zywynran before giggling and turning her head back. "I've never been a virtuous person either, so no worries," she responded. She kicked her legs, trying not to move the top part of her body. She finished eating and waited for Zywynran to finish her hair, hardly being able to wait for the end result.

"There we are. They quite suit you." Zywynran smiles and lightly taps one bell to make it jingle. "I think I may even be jealous. But just a little, mind you." He joked as he stepped back to admire his handwork. He gave a nod of satisfaction and his smile widened. the effect was quite lovely, if he did say so himself.
"Shall we depart?"

Beauty gave her head a little shake, making the bells ring a little. At his question, she paled slightly. "We're not going to the church are we....I can't go in there," she asked, fear lacing her voice lightly. "And I'd have to get my cloak before going out."

"My curiosity can be sated at another time. But I rather thought we might go to the garrison. The Captain is surely awake by now and as we are here on his behalf, it would behoove us to attend him." Zywynran titled his head slightly to one side. "yes, we will both need to bundle up quite warm. Shall we, then? Or did you wish to wait for a while?"

"Oh, yeah...that guy," she said tilting her head to the side too. Jumping off of the chair, she said, "I'm ready if you are." She began walking towards the stairs to get her matching cloak. It was a warm thing, lined with fur, not like her ratty one from the night before. Beauty almost wished she didn't wear a mini skirt, though she had high boots that were warm. As the bells in her hair tingled, she stopped just before the stairs and did a small dance. She smiled, knowing the bells only accented her movements even more. She waited for Zywynran before starting up the steps.

(Ack sorry i haven't posted my comp was messed up and I just got back from paint balling at mah friends B-day D smile
Answering the white haired woman's question Kale turned to face her, "I slept quite well and how did yo-" Stopping mid sentence Kale looked over the girl and noticed the same aura around the woman as Beauty. Shaking his head Kale started again, "Quite a ability there Beauty are you sure your not a shape shifter hmm?" Kale said with a smile as the colorful Elf came down stairs again and tied some bells into Beauty's hair. Turning to face the bar again Kale let out a sigh and stood up and turned to the two "Welll as you, I shall be off must meet the captain it seems." And with that Kale started up the stairs and went into his room pulling on a pair of fur lined pants and long sleeve shirt then got to the task of putting his armor on.

Beauty smiled, "Not exactly," she told Kale. She watched him as he left, and got impatient. "Zywynran," she cooed as she bounced a little, making her bells jingle a little. She bent over a little backwards, showing her abdomen a little more, acting a little more like her normal self.

Zywynran chuckles as he goes to Beauty. "Do you always bounce about to hurry someone? I would imagine it often has the opposite effect of making them stop to watch." A smile plays at the corners of his mouth as he ascends the stairs.

She giggled cutely as she followed him, "It's my nature, I have to." Once they reached their rooms, she went in for her cloak. She paused to grab a jacket that covered her belly. Beauty couldn't help but go to the mirror to check her appearance and perfect it. She loved the bells, she thought they made her hair a little more exciting. She left her room, her heavy cloak in hand and waited for Zywynran.

Kchelach did not have to wait at all; Zywynran only entered his room long enough to don his emerald green, fur lined cloak. He did not bother with the mirror; he seldom did. Why he could not really say. He thought himself a reasonably attractive man, but derived no pleasure from looking upon his own image. He smiled when he saw Beauty and offered his arm in a gentlemanly fashion. "All set?"

Beauty reached up to take his arm and said, "Yep, sure am. Just as long as we don't go into the church I'll be fine." She waited for him to lead the way. Sighing, she loved the contact, her daemon side relished in it. Now she wasn't sure she regretted needing contact to live.

"I've not forgotten so quickly, Kchelach. I have no intention of going to the church." Zywynran gives a bemused little smile at her reminder as he escorts her outside of the inn.
Immediately upon exiting did he wish to simply turn round and reenter the warmth of the establishment. But it was noticeably less bitter a cold than the night before. While he still felt the chill creep right into him through his clothing in mere seconds, he was still grateful for the reduction. Much as he had the night before, Zywynran begins to sing. Softly this time so as not to startle his companion. He surprises himself with his choice; the song of a fellow who loses the woman he loves only because he had not the heart to confess his feelings to her. As the story went, the young lady was noble born and the lad was a knight sworn to protect her. When her father betrothed her to a prince she hardly knew, the princess confessed her love to the knight and begged him to elope with her. He chose his duty and denied her, of course. Perhaps the bleakness of this place was getting to him after all. May they reach the garrison soon!

Beauty followed him outside and listened to his song in silence. She had a feeling he usually sang much louder than he did then. She liked the song, though it reminded her so much of her own life. Wanting to do something, and being denied to the point of doing something else. Beauty almost wanted to sing herself as she hadn't in so long, but she didn't want to expose herself at the same time. She pulled her cloak closer to herself and resisted the temptation to shift to her daemonic form. Instead, she clung closer to Zywynran, hoping to take some warmth from him.
