Darcy lay on the edge of the rock so that Octavius could be near him. "You never know...I could leave her...she is a strong female...And I am sure she would kick my out...and yet always welcome my mate into our family."
He smiled and watched the stallion move up onto the rock with him. He smiled and moved so that his side would brush against the other. "Yes very wisely spoken. You sound like you have loved before." he smiles though he was so tempted to rest his head across the other's neck and shoulders. He could not believe he wanted to be so near someone.
He lowered his head to start working the knots out of Octavius' mane, "BUt I guess you have seen a lot of this even if you have yet to go threw it."

He chuckled "I havent really been in love, a fling here and there but nothing serious." He closed his eyes contentedly as Darcy worked out the knots in his mane, the contact sending little shocks through his body. He could stay like this for hours. "I've seen some of it, in my herd and others. I've seen more death that is probably normal and I have seen little of life." He shrugged.

Darcy nodded his moth working threw each knot very gently his tail flicking softly. "Yes my dear...you are wise in the world...but it seems you need to be away from your herd to learn of life....be with those who cling to it and love it."
He smiled and licked the other's smooth shoulder before continuing on the unknotting. "I am sorry that you have seen lots of sorrow in death but that will only allow you to find more pleasure in life and joy."
He laughed softly and moving he slowly curved his neck around Octavius to hug him. "If there is anything I can do to help you please let me know...I have a feeling I am here for you...born to help you for now." he laughed and then moved to finish the mane.

He thought over what Darcy said, digesting each word. "It is natural for me to be around death, there was once more life in my herd but not since I was born. After myself only one other foal showed up and he has long since grown." He smiled at Darcy's last sentence. "It seems just being around you helps."

When he finished with the hair he moved to clean and organize his own wings, "Well I am sure my sister will give your herd some new foals sooner or later." he said slightly pained.
He smiled, "Well dear Octavius you are always welcomed here with me and my mother, when ever you need a break." he smiled softly and finished working both wings, "What shall we do today..." he asked in his lower more calm and even tone.

"I would say maybe visit my herd but I'm... kind of banned for a few days." he flinched. "I made a snide remark to my mother and he wasn't too happy with me." He sighed as he thought of something they could do. "We could walk... Fly?" He looked at the sky, it was clear and beautieful.

Darcy tilted his head, "If I may ask what was it that you asked that upset him so much?" He nods, "Well I don't fly much...but sure if you like...I will get dressed and we can go flying." he said and stood slowly. "I will return shortly."

"I said something about how he can't keep a hold of the one's he has foals with and how he should just stay out of my love life, or something close to that. I regreted it the second it left my lips but the damage had been done, so now my mother told me to just stay away for a few days and cool down."
He nodded to Darcy and went to get his now dry cloak, slipping it on with practiced ease. He felt a pang of sadness as he thought of his mother, he could just feel the edges of his half-siblings minds but his mother kept his mind completly shut away.

Darcy nods and walks towards his own clothes, "Well We all say things we regret if you would like I will walk you back to your herd and try to help you get accepted back in sooner than later...I am sure that you would like a chance to explain to him..I am glad to hear you do have a love life dark prince, I would like to help you if I can."
He would take a bit longer to dress but he came back out looking as perfect as he did the day before. "I am sure your mother means well."

"Yes, but he needs time to cool down as well, it's never good to be on Death's bad side." He smiled thinking of his mother when he was last angry at another. He had gone off in a huff, very unlike what he normaly would have done if it was another out side his family. Octavius walked over to Darcy and admired his unruffled appearance, so much like an angelic prince in his eyes.
"So shall we go see what the lands have to offer us today?" He smiled happily as he looked around. It looked like it was going to be a very nice day.

Darcy smiles and nods, "Oh I see...I guess it would be bad to be there." he laughs softly. Then nodding he looks around, "Will we be flying or walking?" He asked flexing his wings he smiles at the once again hooded male. It was strangle a comforting site.
Darcy shook his head trying to rid such thoughts from his head. "I don't fly often at all but for you I will give it a go."

"How bout we fly until we find a nice place to land and explore?" His wings streched back then out making popping sounds as the joints streched. He sighed happily and smiled. "Do you need to tell your mother you are heading off for a bit?" He looked around cuiorsly.

Darcy's eyes looked shocked, how could he have forgotten about his mother. He felt so much guilt filling him that being with Octavius had made him forget to even considering talking to him mother. What was this spell that was being spread over him.
Bowing his head he nods, "You are very wise...I shall be right back." he said moving to walk away wanting to tell his mother and clear his mind. What was wrong with him.?

He smiled comfertingly and nudged him on his way "I will be right here when your finished." He watched Darcy walk away and wondered about his own mother. Mother would forgive him in time but until then he needed to figure out what to do since he didn't have any herd duties to do.
His mind wandered over the time spent with Darcy, it was quite more exciting than what he had experienced so far in his life and he quite liked it.

Darcy had found his mother already awake and preparing breakfast for the other too. It seemed she had no trouble with killing things for a large rabbit lay on a bed of greens as well as some sweet clovers and grass for himself. He felt guild tug on his heart as he walked to her, "Good morning mother. I hope you slept well. Octavius and I will be going for a fly this morning and we thought we would let you know."
Andreea smiles and nods, "Well then it is good your breakfasts are ready to go." she said and moved over pulling on to vines just to have two large leaves wrap around the rabbit and another two to wrap around Darcy's green, "You really need to relax abit my dear...and enjoy the pleasures of life." She winked at him and licked his cheek, "Now hurry along and get back to your friend."
Darcy was stunded but he grabed the wrapped up breakfasts and nods returning to Octavius looking rather confused.
