Abel easily slipped past people, nearly slipping through them on some accounts, as if he weren't even there at all. The girl ahead of him walked out of the school buildings and turned a corner. Abel turned and finally caught up to her. "Excuse me! Excuse me!" He cried out, holding out a hand as if to grab her.
The girl stopped and turned around abruptly, causing Abel to run into her and fall backwards. He felt her hand snatch his arm and he regained his balance. "Ummm...thank you." He said carefully, feeling that intense heat burn in his body from her touch. His blue eyes looked down when she shrugged and gazed to the side.
"What do you want? I'm trying to get somewhere." She muttered, folding her arms over her stomach and watching Abel with an annoyed intensity. Her light green eyes narrowed and Abel looked up to her, breathing in a deep breath.
"I think you have something of mine...perhaps you found it on the ground? You see...I misplaced a bag of mine that a friend had given to me, for important reasons and-"
Before he could finished she had shoved a silver bag into his chest. His eyes widened and he picked it up in his hands. "Thank you so much! You don't know how much this means to me! I've been so lost without this." He exclaimed in an excited manner. The girl raised her shaped brows and lifted her chin. "Really...ummm if there's anything I can do for you." He paused as she looked past him and towards Talen.
"It's nothing. I didn't look in it either. So don't worry." She spoke more fluidly this time, her voice sounding thick and somewhat rusty, not in an unappealing matter though. "Anything you did for me would just pull me down. Trust me."
"Oh..." He ran a finger over the silver material. "Well, my name is Abel, so if you ever think of something you want me to do, let me know. What's your name?"
"Lilith."
((Hehehe. I thought it'd be appropriate...

((LOLOLOLOL. That makes me think when I was younger and I'd name all my characters something BADASS AND DEMON LIKE.
Just so I could feel cool.))
When Talen finally caught up with Abel and the mysterious girl Abel had been checking out earlier he rubbed at the back of his head and laughed a little. "He's not bothering you, is he? I mean... he doesn't MEAN to be so... himself, but he's himself all over people and strangers and..." He took a deep breath. "Yeah."
He shook a teasing finger at his friend. "Bad, Abel... bad! What did I tell you about chasing cute girls! It's just not DONE, man. Let the ladies come to YOU." He paused and saw the bag in Abel's hands. "What's that there?"
((hahaha. he said you what you said XDDD ))

((Haha I figured since we are all using Biblical names and what-not...Abel, Cain, Saul...
I couldn't think of any other real "demonic" names besides Lilith. D: But yeah! Anyways...I like that name too. D: Next character we should name Gabriel...that's such an awesome name.))
Abel turned his head when Talen came up to him and apologized to Lilith. Abel gave a slight laugh and looked back to Lilith who shrugged.
"He wasn't bothering me." She said calmly, her empty eyes watching Talen critically. Standing quietly she examined the two boys as they spoke amongst each other.
"But...I wasn't chasing her. She found my bag." He put the bag in the air just as Talen questioned him about it. "I dropped it...when I...you know." His expression twisted and he started to open it up.
"I should go." Lilith interjected, thrusting a thumb over her shoulder. "You know, jobs and stuff."
"Oh, you sure? You don't want to stay with us? I mean Talen is going to work, but I'm free." He gave Lilith a wide smile and her eyes darkened. "If you don't want to it's okay." His pale hands pulled open the bag and inside he found a bible, a strange metallic device, and a pad of paper. His face dropped and he rubbed his forehead. "What's this?" Pulling out a slim, silver and white phone, he gave out a large sigh and looked upwards. "What am I to do with a metal sla-" The minute he spoke the thing buzzed and music burst forth from it. He let out a yelp and it fell from his hands.
Lilith caught it before it hit the ground and she opened it up. "It's a phone...haven't you ever seen a cell phone? You talk into it." Her eyes flashed over to Talen as Abel took it gingerly and held it nearly a foot away from his ear.
"Abel! I've been trying to reach you since the minute you arrived!" A handsome sounding voice yelled from the phone. Abel's face lightened and a smile overcame him.
"Hans! Hans! Oh goodness me! Am I EVER so happy to hear your voice!" He jumped a bit and started to move around the area as the two of them conversed. "You wouldn't believe the things I've seen! I met some amazing people! I like them a lot you know, and they aren't aliens either! It's really amazing in America."
"Yeah yeah. I'm sure it is Abel. But you see-"
"But I'm so confused! I feel like I'm so out of place. You see I..." He trailed off into a whisper as he walked a bit farther from Lilith and Talen.
Lilith watched Abel for a minute and looked back at Talen. "Aren't you one of Cain's 'buddies'" She put quotes around buddies with her fingers, one brow raising. She slipped a thumb into her jeans pocket, her curves obvious against the form fitting material. "Whatever. I need to get going. Your friend over there seems just fine chatting away." She glanced over at Abel who was talking vividly before he slowly down in his pacing and his face grew serious. Lilith couldn't help but wonder what it was they were talking about.
((I figured she and Cain would know each other. I'm not sure what they're relationship is though. You can play with that if you want. Haha.))

((AWW! I wasn't making fun of you! I used to use names like that when it was like... not even necessary XD That's all I meant. LOOOOL.
... I love the name Gabriel D:.... AND SAUL IS MY BROTHER'S NAME. Isn't that so hardcore badass?
Only no one knows how to say it right... they say SALT. Or SAW. OR SAL, which sounds like some tough guy from the mafia. Hahaha, lewsers.))
"Oh. Well... good." Talen said, slightly surprised by her blunt answer. He rubbed at his messy hair and smiled awkwardly. "Then I won't have to rub his nose in it."
"Eh? Bag... OH. RIGHT. Okay. We shouldn't talk about that." Talen said and peered curiously as he started to open the little bag up. He jerked a little as Lilith announced she was going to leave, and Abel being himself invited her to stay. His mouth twitched at the corners and he rubbed at his head a little more roughly. He seemed a little nervous.
When the phone Abel extracted form the bag began to ring Talen had to stifle a laugh, choke it down, and then shrug at Lilith. "Yeah... um. He's from a really old fashioned family... you know? Not many.... yeah." And he trailed off feeling how lame that lie sounded.
And THEN Abel was saying some very obviously weird things to whoever was on the other side of the phone. Talen gave a little laugh. "Ah... eh... he's... he's real eccentric, huh?" And awkward laughter ensued.
But Talen didn't really have to worry about Lilith. She didn't really seem to care... about anything really. He just wasn't aware that the girl Abel had been so interested had been THIS girl. She made the point that she knew him through Cain.
Talen raised his eyebrows at her air quotations. "Yeah. I'm one of those... and you're Cain's 'sister'" He wiggled his fingers several times, "Aren't you?"
She announced she needed to go again. Talen raised his hands and then slid them casually into his pockets. "Yeah, okay." He said. He was probably safer AWAY from Cain's sister being he was one of THOSE brothers that ripped guys in half for even saying hello.
"And just so you KNOW, my name isn't Cain's 'Buddy'. It's Talen. Yeah." He nodded firmly. "And I can handle the spaz... er... thanks for giving him back his bag." He added on.
((Hahaha, I decided they were related cos they both have auburn hair biggrin ... so there. If you don't like that, that's okay, but it made me go: GIGGLE.))

Lilith rolled her eyes and nodded. "Yeah. Unfortunately, I am his sister..." She leaned back slightly in that relaxed, cool posture most women can't pull off without looking boyish, however her curves seemed to make up for it. She tilted her head to the side as Talen tried to make up for Abel's weirdness. She watched the handsome boy from the corner of her eyes as he waved his hands for a minute and walked a bit further away, then paced.
"Talen? Like talons? Hmmm...what a unique name." She said in a sarcastic manner, a flicker of a smile twitching on her dark lips.
Abel leaned foward from his position against a lamp post, pursing his lips. "I don't understand why I am here."
"Me neither." Hans replied.
"What?!"
"Well, He basically said you'd know when the time came. For the meanwhile I just want you to learn stuff. You still have no idea what capabilities you possess. You know how you've been feeling sick and what-not? Yeah. You can sense how people feel, as well as their personalities. Right now it's kind of just there, but eventually, once you get used to it, you'll be able to control it."
"I'm just so lost..." He rubbed at his head and tilted it back, letting out a big sigh.
"You're more powerful than you know. God's given you some amazing gifts Abel, he gives all of us gifts, but you're special. I've always felt you were someone special, maybe that's what He sent you there. You'll be fine, I promise. Things will eventually make sense, you're a smart guy. Just watch out for yourself and your friends."
Abel still didn't understand. He wanted so badly just to go back, not have to worry as much as he was. "I'm really worried about Talen. For some reason I just feel this overwhelming sense of sadness. Something in his eyes is missing...he's a great guy...but something is missing."
"There are some people in the world that are wonderful people, yet let others lead them down a road of darkness. We all were wonderful people, but the world can just get to others. Just try to lead him away from it. But don't get hurt in the process Abel. There are some things that not even we can change. God has a plan for everything, try not to do too much."
"Alright..."
"Abel? I need to go check on something. If you ever need me, I'll call you. Since you can't work a phone. If you ever do learn how, the number you dial is 777."
"Okay. Thank you Hans."
"Good Luck." With that a click was heard and Abel closed the phone slowly, staring at it.
Lilith passed him as she started to leave and looked over. "What's wrong? You break it?"
"Oh." He looked up, blinking, "No...no. Just kinda confused is all. I really appreciate you giving me the bag. It means a lot...if there's anything I can-"
"Really, it's okay. I need to get going though."
"You sure you don't want to stay? I was going to make dinner for Talen and Alice, you could join if you wanted."
"I'm fine. I can manage." She shook her head, looking back over to Talen. "You go with your friend. You shouldn't just invite strangers over to your friend's house anyways." She raised her brows and watched Abel frown and slip the phone into his pocket. "See ya."
"Thank you." Abel watched Lilith walk away before turning around and putting on a smile to Talen. "I am so happy I got to talk to Hans! I was so worried I'd never hear his voice again. Are you going to work right now?"

((... HEEE. POSTIE....SSSS))
Talen seemed more uncomfortable by the conformation of the fact that she WAS his sister. He glanced around in a paranoid fashion and rubbed at his hair some more. "Yeah. Well... don't know why I used air qoutes then." He said not really looking at her.
But then he mentioned his name. He quirked a brow. "Oh... Lilith... like that one b***h. How CREATIVE. You're parents really into that kinda dark stuff?" He shot back just as sarcastically and smiled in that easy way of his that let her know he was joking.
And then he stood around and waited for Abel to get done on the phone. He stuck his hands in his pockets and mirrored Litlih's boyish pose.. only he didn't look quite as sexy or curvy while doing it. ((hahahahaha.)) When a Abel was done he grinned and started to move toward him again, but then he was talking to Lilith trying to get her to come over... AGAIN.
The kid just had a death wish.
Talen waved her off in a relieved manner when she finally left. "Listen... Abel..." But he was talking about some guy named Hans and if he was going to work now. He found himself startled off his train of thought and drew back looking baffled. "Um... well... you know. I don't know who Hans is... and" He looked around noticing evening was getting closer. "And yeah. Work. I should probably get to it, but I bet Alice has missed you just ALL day."
((OKAY THERE.))

((AH sorry for not posting yesterday. I was out with my friends celebrating the end of the semester...and then when I got home, I COMPLETELY CRASHED. I laid on the couch at like 7:30 and a minute later I was asleep.
And I just now woke up. It was the best sleep I've had in my life. haha.))
Abel raised his brows as he positioned the bag over his shoulder. "I don't know..." He began, eyes looked away as he tried to figure out what to do. His fingers fiddled with the bag's strap and his face twisted in deep thought. "I kinda want to see what you do while you work." Very carefully, he looked back over to Talen with the face of someone way too innocent to be denied.
"I won't get in the way. I'll just stand in the background like a statue. I won't even breath if you don't want me too. You know I'm very good at being unnoticed. I did it ALL the time back home. I'll be just like a ghost." His smiled quivered upwards as if trying to beg Talen into letting him tag along.
"Please?"

((Hahaha, it's cool. I figured you were off celebratin' XD. GOOD TIEMSSS. I woulda done the same, maaaan D:<.... Also, I apologize for any typos because my thumb is injured.
Cheese grating.
Dangerous business.))
Talen tried his best to avoid Abel's eyes. There was something about his expression that was something like the famous puppy dog look. If he had a little sibling, Talen was sure he'd be a sucker for a look like that, too nice for his own good. He sighed and tugged at his hair some more.
"Trust me... Abel... it's... I really don't think it's sucha good idea. It's not even that INTERESTING. Daaaamnit." He exhaled as he said PLEASE.
He was asking him PLEASE to come watch him break into some old couple's house and steal anything precious enough to pawn off. An ANGEL was asking him please to see him do something like that. He felt his stomach give an uncomfortable turn.
"That isn't the PROBLEM if you get in the way... Abel... You just. I can't." He didn't want him to watch. Somehow that made everything he did feel so much the more terrible. "What do you MEAN blend in? Did you see how many girls came up to you today? That's more girls that talk to ME in a year." And he laughed, surprised he could still joke, but then his face was serious.
"You should go home." He said firmly at last. He shoved his hands deep into his pockets to show his mind was made up. He wouldn't look at Abel. "I'll see you back at home."
And with that he turned tail and sprinted away. He was over a fence and down an alley before he gave Abel anytime to follow him.
((LOLOL. I was pretty sure Abel wouldn't have any trouble following him. It's not like Talen to put people into harms wwaaaaay... especially with Cain. I dunno why he hates Abel so much *laughs* BUT FOR SOME REASON HE DOES.))
Cain and Talen always met in the same place. It was an old abondoned building that smelled faintly of crime and cigarettes. Cain was already there, a cigerette in his mouth. Another boy was with him, a slight boy with faintly blonde hair, freckles and a long nose.
"You're late." Cain said.
"I'm here now." Talen said. "Hey Saul."
Saul twitched his eyes at Talen and nodded his head.
((THERE. JUST TO GET THAT STARTED. Now I go to work... loooool))

((I feel like something is about to haaaapen. xD ))
Abel remained quiet as Talen tried to dismiss the whole thing. Abel felt guilty for trying to force Talen into taking him. He knew it was wrong to do so, but he also knew something was going on that Talen would get in serious trouble for. Abel didn't want to have Talen falling too deep into a dark hole that he wouldn't be able to climb out of.
As Talen started to walk away, Abel bowed his head and rubbed his temples. "Be careful...be so careful..." he whispered after him and started to walk. He followed after a feeling of worry, as if it was a specific trail meant for him to follow. Every now and then something in the back of his mind would tell him to turn here or cross the street there.
While he started getting away from the city lights he saw an old building. The feelings around it began to make him feel sick again. To his left, in the distance, he saw Talen walking into the building. Abel began to move after him but a hand touched his shoulder. He jumped turned around, and was pushed to the ground. A hand covered his mouth and he was staring up at light green eyes.
Lilith breathed in heavily and shook her head at Abel. "Shhhh. You have to be quiet. If they find you here..." she didn't need to finish her sentence. She could see the recognition in Abel's glowing blue eyes. Quietly, she removed her hand and got off of him, dusting off her jeans. "You shouldn't be here."
"Probably. But what about you?"
"At least I'm used to this stuff. I can stand on my own. You probably can't. Just stay with me and you should be okay. I know how the world works." Lilith ran her fingers through her short auburn hair and moved closer to the house, though kept within the shadows where no one could see them. It was obvious she had done this many times before.
"What are they doing?" Abel whispered, feeling anxiety work up within him.
"Shut up." Lilith hissed under her breath and crouched down beside the side of the house. She could here their voices within the building and she pressed her back against it. Abel followed suit.
((Lalala.))

((Thiiings? No... way... *types* I want thing to happen *shiny eyes*... also: best part of this rp? I can say ******** and not feel bad XDDD YAAAAAAY!!!!! I just thought you should know.))
"So, we'll need to you all up to speed, Talen." Cain said. leaning back against the wall to which his seat was pressed against. Two odd shaped boxes surrounded him covered in the kind of old dingy sheets that declared most things dead to the world in abandoned places. Talen and Saul set amongst them thinking their own thoughts, unaware or numb to the surroundings that haunted on all sides. They didn't seem to see just where it was their lives were going.
"Yeah?" Talen said, not looking at Cain. "Get me up to speed then."
"Saul." Cain said harshly. The slight boy jumped, twitched, and pulled at a lock of hair. It hung in his face, over his shoulders. His eyes were shadowed, dark; anxious. Cain turned his mouth into an ugly frown. "For ******** SAKE, Saul. Don't be so goddamned JUMPY."
He twitched his eyes at Cain and mumbled an apology.
"I'll let you do the honors." He said, more calmly. He took a long draw on his cigarette, uncoiling again.
Saul looked to Talen and ran a tongue nervously over his dry lips. It did nothing to relieve the fact they were chapped beyond recognition already. "Y-yeah." He said, his voice somehow so far away it was like he was talking over the phone. He looked at Talen, but seemed to see through him. "You get in. You're good at that. Better than either of us."
Talen nodded.
"I'll keep watch. Y-you know the signal... if something goes wrong... right?"
"Scream like hell? Run like hell. Hope to hell we don't get caught?"
Saul's mouth twitched into a smile, cracked, and bled. He licked it away. "Yeah." He said. "Cain'll help you after you've gotten in. I cleaned for these guys last week... don't lock up their s**t or nothin'. Shouldn't be a hitch at all."
Talen nodded his head. "Sounds too easy." He exhaled.
Cain laughed cruelly. "Yeah? Well. It's not like some ********' geezers made it so easy so they could busta couple kids. Don't talk like Saul. Doesn't look good on you."
Saul didn't flinch at the comment. He was far away again.
Talen gave Cain a mild look, his mouth tucked back into a snarl. "I'm just sayin'. Doesn't kill to be a little cautious."
"Maybe you SHOULD be a little more like Saul. Get high out of your mind before you do a job. No worries then, huh Saul?" Cain said loudly into Saul's ear.
Saul swayed slightly, eyes focusing, then he slouched and unfocused.
"See? No worries. Let's get this done, huh?"
Talen shook his head, but stood. "Yeah. We'll get the job done." He said with smoldering glare and together all three stood and left the building.
Saul hung back to take the edge off a little bit more before following after the two other boys.
When they reached the house it was already dark. Dark enough to do the deed that needed to be done. Saul was by the lamppost, watching. Cain was around the side of the house, waiting.
Talen was scaling the old brick house to an open window, busting in.
((YAAAAAY... I woulda wrote more... but I didn't want to give you some huge thing to read... looool... so there it is so far biggrin ))

Lilith remained quiet as they sat against the house. Her eyes flickered over to Abel every now and again to see him frowning and rubbing at his head. She didn't say anything, knowing they'd be heard if she did. Something about Abel made her feel sad. Perhaps it was that look in his eyes. They weren't happy, they were worried, always worried. The minute she looked at him they were too full of concern to be normal.
His movements were too fluid and too graceful, his face was too perfect, too boyishly handsome, his eyes too blue, his hair too blonde, his skin too smooth, his smile too bright. Everything about him was too perfect. Something inside of her told her that he wasn't normal. No one was that perfect, and no one worried over someone that much, not even mothers.
Abel's eyes opened and he looked to the side when he heard the three come out. Lilith got up before him and snatched his wrist, leading him carefully after the group of boys. When they were far away enough for them not to hear Lilith whispered to Abel. "Don't do a THING unless I tell you. I don't want to have to save you from Cain's anger, got that? Even if you little friend gets in trouble."
Abel knew if Talen was in any immediate trouble, he'd definitely do something, but he didn't tell Lilith that. "Of course..." He whispered and the two them sat back a little as they got to the house. Abel stood to the side of Lilith, his anxiety bursting from the seems when he saw Talen climbing up the house. "Oh...Talen..." he whispered and felt his heart breaking. He wanted so badly to go over there, pull him down, and make him walk away. Abel might have been ignorant, but not that ignorant not to know what was going on.
"I'll be right back, you stay here, no matter WHAT happens you STAY HERE." Lilith hissed and pointed at the spot for more effect. She then strolled out towards Saul with a smirk and leaned against the lamppost he was standing at. "Hey, Saul." She said with a dark undertone, her eyes half lidded as she looked at him, a playful smirk on her full lips. "How's it going?"

((DUN DUN DUUUUNNNNN... *types!*))
Saul seemed slightly startled by the arrival of Cain's sister. He jerked a little from his stupor and stared at her as if through a haze. "Hey." He said finally, slowly. Even through his high he knew her being here was bad news. He frowned.
"You shouldn't be here." He looked nervous in her presence and he should have been. She was Cain's sister, she was beautiful, and he was himself; unshowered for two days, high, and... well, himself. "He'll be mad." He said. "What are you doing here?"
Talen easily clambered through the window with a well practiced movement of a boy who had been in many stranger's houses before. He landed quietly, cautiously. He's ears, nose, and eyes let him know he was alone in the home. Quickly he made for the stairs to disarm the alarm system that was surely by the side-door where Cain would be waiting for him.

Lilith shrugged as she lifted herself from the lamppost and put an arm over Saul's shoulder, draping herself slightly against him. She could smell him, definitely not the best smell in the world. Her nose wrinkled and she looked at him. "Why should I care if he's mad or not? He's always mad. Nothing new. I've done worse."
Her eyes watched the house and she witched the side of her jaw lazily. "You smell bad, Saul. Go take a shower or something." She moved her arm off of him and looked down the street. "I just thought I should let you know, that the cops patrol this area at night. It's unfortunate no one took that into account." As she spoke headlights appeared down the street as a car slowly inched its way.
"Don't you think they'll find it weird there are two teenagers, one who is very suspiciously high looking, watching a house completely dark, with one window open, and an alarm going off?" She raised her perfectly arched brows and studied Saul with a blank face.
Abel looked down the street at the lights and then back to the house, his heart thudding heavily. He didn't know what was going on...but he didn't like it one bit. With the worry and anxiety overwhelming him he quickly stepped towards Lilith. Her eyes flashed red when he came over and she rushed towards him. "The HELL are you doing?" She snapped, hands grabbing his shoulders and shoving him back. "I told you to stay!"
"But...I...Talen...and you...the lights, they're coming faster." He pointed to the lights and then some on top turned around, flashing quickly and an engine turned louder as it came. "That's not good is it?" Abel quickly said and Lilith let go. She rushed towards Saul.
"s**t, go tell them, Saul. Tell them now. The cops know something is up." Her eyes were now burning red as she stared at him, her nerves working overtime. She didn't really like her brother...but she didn't want him in jail, she also didn't want to be in jail herself.
Abel meanwhile stood still, not sure what to do. "Ahhhhh...goodness." He groaned and pulled at his hair nervously. "Ohhhh dear."

((CHEEZ IT! IT'S THE FUZZ!!! And poor Abel... WHAT WILL BECOME OF OUR YOUNG HEROES?!))
Saul took a minute to realize she had draped herself across his shoulders. He stared through her looking mildly startled. "Well... I... well." He said and licked at his lips. "I care if he's mad." He said finally.
When she mentioned his smell he didn't seem to surprised, but he did withdraw a few inches feeling like the scum he was. She then mentioned cops tended to patrol this area. He looked about steadily and back to her, mouth open. He seemed much paler than he had before, the freckles on his nose stood out like ink blots. "But he wouldn't set the alarm off... not Talen." He said, feeling himself coming back very quickly to earth.
But the alarm system was not as old as Saul had thought when he had first inspected it. Talen had made his way safely down the stairs and took a step into the kitchen when the alarm went off, high, wailing, and loud.
"s**t." Talen said under his breath. Outside Cain was mouthing the same profanity.
Talen knew better than to stick around and in a panic made his way for the stairs, but he ran into the garbage can and tumbled to the kitchen tile in a heap.
Saul, when Lilith gripped at him and glared with her dangerous red eyes he sobered up quick. He turned from her and forgetting completely about the sign they had agreed on, tore towards the house. Cain was rushing the opposite direction and grabbed Saul as he did so.
"WE'RE ********. WHAT DID YOU DO?"
"But what about TALEN?!" He shouted, eyes wide. He tried to run back to the house.
"Forget him! He can take care of himself!" He said ruthlessly. "You know the code. Stick to it you little ********." And then he spotted his sister. He almost seemed to glow in his rage. "What the HELL is she doing here, Saul?!" He demanded.
Saul was stumbling at his heels and tried to gasp out an answer, but Cain just sent him a vicious look.
"LILITH! Split up!" And then he saw ABEL. If he could have he would have been smoldering white hot with rage. "You're so ******** when I find you again." He breathed, and he was the sort of boy who kept his promises and held his grudges.
Gripping his sister by her arm, but probably more gently than he would have grabbed anyone else he drug her off to run. Saul stood after them and then blunk at Abel.
"But Talen..." He said again. "He's not out yet..." He stared. "We need to run!"

Lilith looked to Cain and a smile flickered on her lips, not one of relief, but one of amusement. As if this whole thing were a joke to her. "I just thought I'd watch my precious brother at work. That's all." Her eyes moved back to their light green and she smirked wider.
Abel took a few steps back when Cain came running towards them. His eyes lit up and he watched the exchange between the three others before Cain's eyes met his. Abel shrunk slightly and frowned, the sickness rising in his stomach again.
Lilith gave a frustrated sigh when Cain grabbed her and started running. There was not much she could do but go along with him. "Perhaps you should review the location yourself before you leap into it. Trusting Saul is like trusting a rock...neither have much of a brain." Shaking her head she easily matched Cain's pace and they disappeared.
Abel was left just as stunned as Saul, looking at him with wide eyes. "Ahhhh..." He paused and looked up to see the cops getting closer. "You go, hurry, I'll get Talen. It's okay, don't worry." He gave Saul a reassuring smile and took off into the house. All that was one his mind now was to get Talen out of there and away from the house as quickly as possible.
Abel stumbled across Talen, the wailing sound tearing into his ears. Wincing he knelt down, took Talen's arms and easily pulled him to his feet. Before Talen could say anything else, his hand gripped the other boy's wrist tightly and pulled him towards the back door. Again, he had no idea where he was going, but his instincts had led him here, so he hoped they would lead him away too.
As they got to the back door Abel used his free hand to try the door knob, of course it was locked. Groaning he tried again and the lock inside clicked, the door sliding open as though it had never been locked. Once they were safely outside he dragged Talen towards the trees. A few minutes later they were safe away from the house and Abel came to a stop, letting go of Talen and taking a steadying breath.
His fingers were trembling and he crouched down, holding his head for a minute to let the screeching alarm escape from his ears. Not an ounce of air escaped his lungs as he let his fingers shake and his head ring. "Oh my goodness..." he whispered to himself and looked towards Talen. "Oh. my. goodness."
((Woooo.))
