Sneaking inside, Celia noticed thankfully that her father was still sound asleep, his chest rising and falling in a steady rhythm. He wouldn't be up for a few hours yet. Tiptoeing past, she lay down on her bed and shut her eyes to try and encourage her body to sleep.

Gweneth yawned and stretched as she awoke in her hut. "Mmm...what a great nap. I hope I didn't miss anything." She looked at her door. Still in place, no one busted it down, so I suppose that means no emergencies. That's good. she thought with a smile.
She washed quickly, ate a late lunch, and prepared her things for the rest of the day, humming softly to herself. Her parents had been happy to see her this morning after her watch and had both greatly appreciated the gift of charms given by the elder Talia. Her father was keeping them now. However, Gweneth still worried about others in the village. Her own mother was recovering from a cold, and there'd been an unusual amount of villagers lately who were also sick.
"I'd better hurry and check on everyone. I hardly trust this village to remain standing without my constant attention." Thus, Gweneth hurried from her room towards the village gates where a guard's post was set up. From there she would be able to get a view of the entire village, and it's where she kept her watches.
However, before she even reached the post, she saw the stranger entering the village. While she'd been extremely welcoming to the travellers earlier, this one seemed markedly different. She noted the multiple scratches on his arms and his frightening eyes and felt alarmed. Instead of her typical welcome, she simply blurted, "Who are you?"
((I'm real sorry for my absence. Sickness + Finals = Suck. I read over the last posts but let me know if I get anything wrong.))

He seemed to wince a bit to himself as someone calls out to him. Surely enough, either his haggard appearance or the weapon he brandished drew unwanted attention. Still he would advance, stopping just infront of the person who called to him. He lifts his head and stares her fully in the eyes.
"Who I am is none of your concern; no doubt you will have heard of me nor does anyone else; frankly I'd rather it stay that way." He starts to stay, propping his spear ontot he the ground vertically and parallel to him. "I come only to find a room to stay in for the day; whatever you people've got going on here it's in no danger."

It took a moment for Gweneth to respond. She'd heard him fine, but he'd gotten her temper up. Just who does this guy think he is, refusing to even introduce himself? What does he mean by 'whatever you've people got going on here'? What nerve! Wait, don't get too excited. Remember how Talia's been teaching you to control your temper. Deep breath...1...2...3
Thus composed, she answered, "You're welcome here so long as you don't mean any harm. Goodness knows we could use the business, we don't get many visitors. There is a small inn to the east here past this stable, and if you need supplies of any sort there is a general store down this road by the pond. That's also near where I live."
Gweneth flipped some hair over her shoulder and tried not to glare or smirk. She was finding it difficult to be polite. "I suggest you remember that, in case you find yourself in trouble. I am Gweneth Orling, and I am a guard here in this village. I will be one of those that you will answer to if you cause any harm while you're here. However, so long as you keep your word not to cause trouble, then I am here to help you if you have any questions or find yourself in any danger."

Markis got a few feet away from the village, before he heard some leaves rustling behind him. Turning quickly, he pulled his scimitar out from its sheath. Walking over to the bush, he pushed some of the branches out of the way, only to see a fox lying down in the bushes. Shaking his head, he placed the sword back in it's sheath, and walked into the village.
Looking over where the two where standing, he ignored them, and walked over to a tree. Sitting down on the ground, he pulled out a book, and the small black rock he had gotten earlier, he started studying the book.

He stares upon her with those almost frightening eyes of his, seemingly gazing right through her. He couldn't help but feel that part of her welcoming speech was a bit of a threat. Then again some hostility was to be expected after all. Nevertheless he would merely acknowledge what information the guard had to give and move on; no sense in drawing anymore attention to himself.
"Very well; peace be upon you." He answers, leaning his spear against his left shoulder as he takes a sep aside and walks past her. He would decide to make the local inn his first point of interest.

Soren fell deep asleep with the book in hand, he was so exhausted from his days of travel and not much sleep came with that. Event though he was in a deep sleep, he could still feel what was going on outside of his mind, and wake up in instant if anything happened. Though for now he stayed in his dreams happily at peace, which he never got to escape to. For if he slept in the forest, there was always caution in every moment, so it wasn't pleasant.

(( Saera's back, i had problems with life and such buuut, i'm here ! ))
Talia had slipped away to gather some herbs and precious stones for more charms when she saw Gweneth's confrontation with Sendoromu she just watched. After he had left she walked out and smiled at Gweneth." Gweneth, i see you have been learning and gaining from our sessions with your anger. It will help you long and hard through the years " she said softly and smiling at the guard. " there's an adventurer in the village, someone i helped a while ago. Her name is Laelin i would like you to help her adjust with anything she needs. Shes a dryad thats been ripped from her tree...but please she lacks social skills a bit so... just help her ? "

Celia tossed and turned on her bed, eyes scrunched up in a vain effort to fall asleep. It was useless. Whatever she'd seen, or thought she'd heard, outside had disturbed her and she just couldn't stop thinking about it. Frustrated, she sat up and crossed her legs together, playing with a small ball of light and toying with going back outside.

Soon after his confrontation att he village gates he'd finally enter the inn. He walks up over to the seemingly empty counter and rings the bell sitting on the desk. No one would answer, so he'd ring it again. Moments pass and still no one answered. He sighs a bit to himself and, out of boredom, begins to repeatedly ring the bell over and over.

Verin walks up to the man ringing the bell, and places his hand over the bell. "Once is enough..." He said to him, as a woman, in brown clothes, and long blond hair walked up from behind the counter, obviously annoyed at the constant ringing of the bell.
"Can I help you?" She asked in an annoyed manner, while pointing to a book that was on the counter with names and dates written in it.

Gweneth sighed a little after the traveller left to find the inn. She felt satisfied that she wouldn't have any trouble from him, at least.
Next, she smiled as Talia walked up to her. "I don't know what I'd do with myself if I hadn't had your help to learned some control. I could never get a date, because all the boys were scared of me." A flicker of sadness crossed Gweneth's eyes, as she considered her datelessness to be a true and utter tragedy. "Laelin is it? Okay, I don't know too much about dryads, but I don't think they get around much do they? I'll go and meet her! Where is she now?"

He blinks momentarily to pass a glance down at the hand which covered the bell, following it up to the image of a woman.
"Nice to see you too." He answers back, no more agitated than she was. He props his spear up paralell to him and leans it back against his shoulder before he'd proceed. "I'm looking for a room to stay in for the night; any vacancies?" He'd then ask.

The woman looks at him for a moment before speaking. "Write your name in the book, and the dates you wish to stay here." She walked over a rack full of keys. Picking one up, she handed it to him. "Your room is on the second floor, third door down the hall." She said placing the key on the counter and waited for him to write in the book.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Markis had continues to study the rock, as he fell from his hand, and landed on the ground. Looking at it, he started to reach for it as the earth absorbed the rock. Staring at it for a moment, he seemed confused, as the ground started to turn black. "s**t." He swore as he stood up, and backed up from the growing blackness. It slowly consumed the tree and the immediate area around it. The tree grew black, as so did the ground as it had stopped after five feet have been consumed. Tapping the tree, it felt like it was a rock. "What the hell?" He asked himself as he stood there, flipping through pages in the book, to see if there was anything like this in the book.((FYI Verin is the one that put his hand on the bell, not the In keeper. He was just wandering, and I didn't know where to put him. Check out the OOC please. and Check the front page of the rp in the rules section!))
